Frogman Scuba: what do users think?
Kyle Leighton-Floyd: Matthew was a great instructor! Gave me 1 on 1 and helped me learn a lot! Would absolutely recommend to anyone just starting out our highly experienced. Went above and beyond helping us after we were finished with our course helping set up trip.
Janell Rock: My husband and I just completed a refresher course with Matthew. I can’t say enough about his professionalism, organization and knowledge/ skills. He was thorough & personable. We were very impressed, enjoyed our class and feel much more comfortable heading off to our Belize dive trip. We will certainly rely on Frogman’s expertise for further knowledge or additional gear we may need in the future. Very glad to have found them so close to home!
electric is life: My experience with Frogman scuba has been amazing, I had Mathew as my instructor yesterday and it was refreshing to do a class where the instructor was so passionate about what he does, and you can tell that he legit enjoys teaching. The whole course there was excitement and just all around a positive reinforcement. Also a plus when you take a course threw them they give you a discount on scuba equipment so amazing. Thank you and can’t wait for Juneish when it warms up for the open water part.
Jaron Perry: Matthew was a phenomenal instructor with plenty of real world experience and gear recommendations. The class size was perfect for pool and open water coursework compared to other local companies that were way overbooked. Frogman Scuba was personalized and effective. I highly recommend for scuba instruction.
Erin Larson: The teachers are so intuned to students needs and very knowledgeable and helpful to beginners. The frogman will make all your under water anxiety dissappear before even entering the water. If you have ever wanted to learn how to scubadive try it here!

Midwest Aquatics Swim & Scuba: what do users think?
Britton Winter: The pool was warm, the staff was helpful, just a wonderful shop.
Kerry Menegay: The instructors are excellent, and their process teaches form and endurance. Highly recommended.
Nathaniel Richards: I knew very little about scuba diving except that I really wanted to learn how to do it. I went to exactly the right place. The staff is very knowledgeable and incredibly kind. I took the scuba course in the classroom and in the swimming pool. The instructor was excellent and I gained a lot of insight on how to dive and what to do in emergencies. I was able to not only purchase my basic scuba gear in the shop, but they also helped me purchased a diving computer, a BCD and a transmitter. I was able to test all the equipment in their pool afterwards.Their enthusiasm for scuba diving is contagious. I mentioned to Elaine that I was planing on going to Isla Mujeres to finish my certification. She recommended everything from the diving school, to golf cart rentals, restaurants, markets, and hotels. She, along with everyone else who works there, is very knowledgeable about the best places around the world to dive. Not only is Midwest Aquatics a great place to learn how to scuba dive, the atmosphere and the kindness of all the employees is above and beyond. Thanks!!
Leah Miller: I would NOT recommend this place AT ALL! As a fellow swim instructor I am extremely disappointed in the lack of curriculum. My child has had a different teacher each class and ALL of the staff has been extremely rude every single time we have attended. Total waste of money and time.
Namratha Pippalapalli: Worst experience ever. Out of 20 mins of class not even 5 mins my child was in pool and the instructor was showing partiality and ignoring some of the kids.
David Handler: Got certified through them and we've been going there for years. Great staff who provide excellent gear maintenance and always have great recommendations for new diving destinations.
SALMA HKE: The male coach is bad. Not accommodating and expects children to know swimming already when they take lessons. Ironic for a swimming school. He is very impatient does constant eye rolling and expressively shows irritation on little kiddos
Eric Vogeler: Great place. Wonderful employees that are knowledgeable and so willing to help.
Adam Keating: We love it! Ms. Elaine is awesome with small children and teaching early swimmers. Would highly recommend.
William Wells: They are always friendly and good at answering my questions. Their facility is always clean.
Sean Stitt: Lovely people. Great teachers. Stormie adores Ms Elaine and Matt.
Hubble Hill (Hub): $160.00 to rent two tanks and weights for a week, wow, I could have bought my a tank and weights for 200 and had it filled for 7. I thought that was the deposit, what a rip off. I go to TD scuba it is 10 per tank and 10 for the weights, lesson learned won't be going back there for anything.
Scott Cameron: The instructors are great, but I have a problem with the format. They put new swimmers in the same group with advanced swimmers... my kid never got more than 5 minutes of instruction out of the 30 minute "lesson."If you can do individual lessons (here or somewhere else) you'll get more mileage, even if it's for only half the time.
Adriana Tobar: Wonderful place for the kids to learn to swim. Mrs Angie was our teacher and my three boys love her. We do not live in the area anymore, but we miss her kindness and the staff at Midwest Aquatics.
Nhi Nguyen: Come looking for Angie, she awesome ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Jason Terry: I've been diving with Midwest Aquatics for almost 20 years now. Darin and Cari are top notch people and run a great business. I highly recommend Midwest Aquatics for swim and scuba... especially the great trips they organize for diving.
Cyndi Hail: We LOVE Midwest Aquatics!!! My daughter has been taking swim lessons there once a week for the last 2 years. She has grown so much!! The training she has received at Midwest Aquatics far surpasses any of the 2-week summer swim lessons we had done in the past at other places. The teachers are fantastic!!! They truly care about my daughter and push her to do more than she thought she could. 😊😊
Gregg Sandridge: As a customer since 2004, I’ve relied on the team at Midwest Aquatics for scuba training, equipment purchases and ongoing equipment maintenance. Diving around the world and logging over 200+ dives with the same equipment I originally purchased from the shop in 2004.I've always received expert advice on every aspect of diving from the team and give the organization my highest recommendation as they have one of the most professional and knowable staffs I’ve worked with since receiving my certification.
Julie Manuszak: Broke both mine an my husband's 1st stages, cracked the housing and also my secondary housing no longer works and charged us $400 to break our stuff. Had to buy new so they cost us close to $1000 because the service department sucks BAD!!!!!
Reina Rodriguez: We have been extremely happy with Midwest Aquatics over the past 5 years. We have 3 children that take lessons there currently. Over the years we have had various instructors, like in any learning environment different instructors have worked better for our children than others. What I appreciate is Darrin's willingness to talk with me extensively about our needs, our goals for each child, and give me options on days, times and instructors. Angi, Natalie and Heather have all been great teachers. I would highly recommend Midwest Aquatics.
Eileen McDaniel: I give Midwest Aquatics all five stars. My grandchildren have been taking lessons for the last few years. They have very good teachers that have patiences and understanding what they need and how to get the best out of each child. I highly recommend Ms Heather and Ms Natalie as instructors.

Divers Equipment & Repair Service: what do users think?
Lyn Wellington: They have been in business for many years. Owner and staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Have been going there for over 40 years. Would recommend going there for anyone interested in SCUBA diving be they beginner or expert
Cristina Capuchino: This place is where I learned the things I thought I could not do
Nathan Gammons (TravAddic.com): Great staff, good service
Melissa Mercer: My husband took the dive class there to be certified. He loved it! He loved the instructor and the services.
Brooke McManus: Staff were friendly and helpful. They made sure I had everything I needed and gave detailed explanations.
Char Be: I wanted to make sure and give these guys a big shout out and a great review. From the moment I google searched and contacted them, Chris was awesome. Very welcoming and informative about what they do and packages. The "try scuba" special of $30 pp really allowed me and my family of 4 a great time! Oldest is 14 and wanting to become a marine biologist, working with dolphins. This was a perfect opportunity for her to experience scuba diving. We all loved it, telling virtually everyone we know. If you have ever thought about doing it, or wish to start, don't hesitate! It was informative, fun and such a cool family outing. Thanks again guys!!! Btw the owner was there assisting, great guy too!
Cecil Moore: Great group, best dive shop in town.
Lee Richards: Great service as always. Great place to get help, rent, train and the club gives you more pool time to practice than you can possibly squeeze into your calendar.
J 5ive: Its a place the we know the does hydrotesting.
PAULA WALSH: This places is so incredibly helpful. I had a problem with my snorkel that I could not fix. Even though it was a brand they don’t sell, they were able to take care of my problem and modify my snorkel so it wouldn’t happen again.
Scott Sackrider: Great place to take lessons or buy/verify gear
Brian Uder: Took Open Water certification with John. Awesome experience! Very small class size, so lots of opportunity for 1:1 and answering questions. John is very patient, super helpful, and very friendly. Pool is nice (and heated). Allen was also very friendly and knowledgeable (and very accommodating since he had to bring equipment for my wife and I because we couldn’t stop in to pick up equipment before the lake dive). Drove up from Oklahoma for the class work, and it was well worth the drive even though I could have taken my Open Water locally. I plan on taking additional certifications here. 10/10 would recommend!
Mike Dugan: GREAT people. 5-stars...
lya azz: Super awesome!! Very good teachers
Kevin Mage: Great dive shop. Good selection. Good facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Great teacher.Great for filling/hydro testing a variety of air tanks.Highly recommend.
Geoff Geist: Super solid guys. Confident they will lead us safely into a life long addiction 😊
Cheri Blessing: I am so excited to have found these guys! We took our first class and will be taking the classes to get certified. They are top notch and the owner is just wonderful. Christopher was our instructor and he is great and patient! If you are thinking about taking a class, call them! Thanks guys and we will see you again!
Jon Dunn: The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, they made my wife's and my first ever experience very comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recomend this company for those that might be a little afraid of the idea of trying scuba, they are so good that you really forget that you are breathing under water, was effortless.
Pat O'Brien: Super friendly and knowledgeable, great dive shop!
Martin Parks: Awesome little shop. A big plus is they have their own pool. Staff was great to work with on recertification spend extra time with me and my wife making sure we were comfortable before a dive trip to the Caribbean. Will absolutely go there again and again and again!

Dive Shop Inc: what do users think?
Jayson T (jt15550): The Dive Shop has been my local go-to for all things scuba for 13 years. Just finished up this weekend's Rescue Diver course with Neal and Patrick, they did a fantastic job and I got a ton out of it - and had a good time to boot.
Safety doge Gamer: Absolutely beautiful place to go for diving,I went with my father here,Our instructor was amazing and explained everything clearly,Even when i got a little jumpy it was still amazing,Go here today.
adam butler: Love the customer service down to earth people very informative
Richard Allen: From gear to classes, this place has what you need.
Katherine Miller: Had an absolutely positive experience with my significant other from booking through to completing the confined water training. John, the owner, is a great guy, lots of info, good for a dry joke, and super helpful with picking out gear for first-time scuba divers. Jeff was our instructor in our course and he was great - very thoughtful in how he described the skills, very supportive and encouraging throughout the process. Class was very well described ahead of time and went as expected. For the F-S-S class, you get in the water all three days. It was exhausting but I certainly felt my confidence grow. You can try on multiple masks and fins through the 3 days and then your rental fee goes towards a purchase so it was worth it to try out some new gear. It was great getting to practice and learn with my "buddy" so we are ready to work well together when we hit the open water stage. We are on a tight timeline so we are going somewhere warm for our open water testing, but will definitely consider The Dive Shop for future training.
Timothy Davis: I had an incredible experience. The staff was friendly and professional and the skills/training was exceptional! If you are on the fence on whether or not you should take the class or if this is the right shop for you, this is the right place and a fantastic class to get your scuba certification!
Alex MacDonald: John and crew at The Dive Shop are outstanding. From customer service to quality, they are simply unmatched. Highly recommend going here for any of your dive shop needs, thanks again John!
Todd Andrews: Fantastic facilities and excellent staff
Andrew Akers: Well established place, John the owner is an awesome guy. Very clean and great place to get educated in scuba diving.
Jack Rosemann: Instructor was super funny and very knowledgeable. We felt very safe and learned much more than other places.
Linda Lewis: Took my basic SCUBA course here and the people are fantastic. Always helpful with questions or advice. Use the pool occaisionally to test out equipment. Like an extended family.
Lance Ratliff: Great little shop. Went in for some practice.Dan was very helpful.
Brian Terkildsen: I went in today to pick the brains of someone. It just so happened that it was John, the owner. Very friendly and very helpful! PADI certification online or in class. Lots of opportunities, but book early, as are busy.
Bret.getzel@gmail.com Getzel: John and the team are the best. Both my daughter and I have taken classes at The Dive Shop. We've taken our kits to John for service and also have purchased equipment. We have also used the pool for skills tune-ups before going on dive trips. Definitely give them a look for any of your dive needs.
Don Lawver: John and his staff are super friendly and have years of experience diving all over in different environments. They are happy to answer any questions and give you tips for where your adventure will be! I highly recommend visiting The Dive Shop!
Matt T: Great shop! Took my Open Water Course with Scott & Chris and they were both very helpful, patient, and fun throughout. The shop has all the gear you could want as a beginner, with plenty of connections out to other dive opportunities and further training as you grow!
Ty B: 0 Stars for sure. Choose a different place at all costs. I took an advanced course there only to find the most unprofessional dive shop I have ever seen. Every staff member had something negative to say about another team member and was told to never listen to the owner John. During the lake portion, one of the new students RAN OUT OF AIR underwater and had to be towed back in.In the end I had an extra charge I tried to politely ask the owner about, he got very defensive and rude. He couldn't give me an itemized list of where the number came from, only that I was getting a deal. Turned out it was an arbitrary number he just made up and after I called him out he won't respond to me. Be prepared to be nickel and dime. There are some good people I met from the shop but overall it was a very disappointing experience for my classmate and I. for sure.
Ryan Kirby: I had a very positive experience diving with Scott. He is a great teacher and a very nice guy. I completed my open water and my wife completed her advanced open water. Chris was my wife’s instructor and he did a wonderful job bringing her out of her shell. He taught her very well and was able to find different teaching techniques because she is very socially awkward. Chris and Scott did a great job teaching and testing out for everyone this weekend and made everyone very comfortable. The Dive shop is number one.
Hailey: Brad was our instructor and did a great job. We learned so much! Would definitely recommend.
Mark Sherry: Excellent class, instructors and facility !!!
Mark P: Taken multiple courses here. All the staff and instructors are amazing. Need anything for your dive? they can help you. Want to sign up for a trip they have multiple per year. Indoor pool allows year round training.

T D Scuba: what do users think?
Maminga K: Best group of people to learn from. Incredibly nice and knowledgeable.
wade visoc: Great team, very helpful and fun.
Todd Davis: Great staff, nice facility and a great place to learn to Scuba Dive!! Offer travel around the world for diving and pleasure.
Matt Timm: Steve and his team are the best!!!
Mitch Shipman: This is a few years coming. Faulty equipment to where my son couldn't breath under water. He came up and had a headache from no air. 5'10 large white guy in his 60s told him he needed to eat more that's why he was light headed. Not from the fact he couldn't get air. We couldn't finish our training because of it. Then drill sergeant tried to charge us to come back and finish. Dont recommend. test equipment
Amy F: I took and intro to scuba dive class and had a blast. I have always wanted to learn and had no experience at all. I was nervous because I went alone, but everyone was so nice. I felt the instructor was very knowledgeable and worked with us closely to make sure we understood. I wasn’t expecting such personalized attention. I plan to get certified in the future for sure!
Michael Wentz: I love this scuba shop! They are all so friendly and knowledgeable about all of the equipment! I always go through Terry because he was my instructor and is so patient with his students. Great group of people all around though!
Mark Bayley: Got outfitted and pool training for my Open Water cert here. 10/10!
Nathan Gammons (TravAddic.com): Excellent service as usual
Michael Garland: Very friendly, knowledgeable, and flexible staff. Highly recommend
Mike Dugan: Hands down the best SCUBA shop in the greater KC area.
Nate's I.T. & Computer Services: Great shop and staff, the classes and instructors are awesome, I have taken multiple classes and they are great and take the time with you, A+ place and service
Lisa Giles: We had an amazing time getting open water certified with TD! The instructors were patient and made the experience tons of fun! Would definitely recommend TD Scuba for all your diving needs.
Mark Kitchens: Fantastic shop. Extremely knowledgeable staff and great equipment. Would definitely recommend.
Dee Jay: Great place to learn to dive they have a good place to do your open water dives.
MO Adventures: These guys are amazing! Hands down the best customer service I have ever experienced not just at a dive shop but anywhere. I highly recommend them to anyone interested in learning to dive or just pick up some new gear.
Mike Clayton: Helpful and full of knowledge!!
Diverguy: Repeat customer! Just finished Advanced with the shop in Cozumel!
Warren Holcomb: I enjoyed the instruction received. Professional staff very patient and helpful with students that require some extra time getting used to scuba diving. I'll be a returning customer. :) A+++
rob r: This shop has been great in helping me learn to SCUBA dive. I’m the guy that asks tons of questions and I always feel as though they genuinely want me to know everything I can! A huge plus for me is the staff who are medically trained (ie. professional paramedics, medical staff). It gives me peace of mind to know that IF something goes wrong, I’m diving with professionals that can render emergency aid competently and expeditiously!!
Jackson Webb: Very helpful and nice

Emler Swim School of Kansas City - Westwood: what do users think?
Raven Pinkii Black: I can not say enough nice things about this swim school. The teachers are amazing.Highly recommend Ms Victory!!!
Robert Randolph: My granddaughter looks forward to her weekly swim class with Sophie who is an excellent swim instructor. Zoe's progress has been remarkable. Thank you Sophie
Biaggio Niosi-Ortiz: We love Emler! The staff is very well trained, and they run a well organized and friendly operation. The goals and benchmarks are always clear, with regular updates provided. We have liked all of our instructors, and our child has steadily progressed in skill and confidence. I highly recommend them!
Monica Harrell: I've been really pleased with the teachers and staff at Emler. Anjel, especially, has been a great match for my son. We've tried a few other activities where the instructors aren't very good with kids or don't have enough time/knowledge to help a shy kiddo warm up. Anjel does an amazing job helping my son warm up when he's nervous. She balances giving him new challenges while not pushing him too far outside his comfort zone. We love to hear him say that he's proud of himself after swimming lessons!
Gwen Hoefer: We love Emler! The teachers are great, especially Anita! The facility is clean, and my son loves coming to swim!
Rhae Burt: Emler has been great for our daughter. It’s amazing to see her progress and she looks forward to swim lessons every week. Victory is wonderful with her and she adores her, too!
Kara Miles: We love our swim classes with Ms. Victory! We’ve been going since our daughter was 6 months & now at 8 months we’ve seen her confidence blossom while being in the water. So much fun!
Turner-Maria Martinez-Collins: Ariana has truly blossomed in her class with Mrs. Anita. She is now holding her breath under water while trying to swim from the edge of the pool to the platform. Prior to Emler, Ariana did not want to go to swimming lessons anymore because she was being forced to jump in the water. Mrs. Anita at Emler is kind, fun and has taken her time with her. Her approach with Ariana has allowed Ariana to grow her skills and comfort in the water significantly. We are so happy we switched to Emler!
Ashleigh Slover: We love taking classes at Emler-Westwood! The staff is so kind and courteous. The space is lovely and clean. We take classes with Ms. Brityn who is an absolute gem. My daughter loves and most importantly trusts her!
Victoria Gargon: Our Son absolutely loves Elmer! He was timid at first but the staff was so friendly and got him swimming in no time. He loves his teacher (Mr.Paul) so much, he talks about him everyday! Can’t recommend them enough!
Anastashia Cheadle: Victory is the BEST!! She’s so sweet and you can tell she truly loves her job teaching the babies to swim!!
Michelle Beasley: My son has always been afraid of the water and now he can’t wait to go to his class. He is in preschool and says his coach, Ethan, changed his life! We are so grateful for our positive experience at Emler
Jordan Holt: We attend swim lessons for two boys and they absolutely love when it's swim night! They are progressing so rapidly due to their understanding of the basics! Highly Recommend!
Olivia McNair: Kids have had great instructors—after a couple private lessons elsewhere with kids not being willing to get in the water or go under, the instructors here pushed them in a way that was effective and they both could swim pretty much right away. Cory, Brandon, Paul and Lauren have been great!
K. S. (WannaBGourmande): What a great place! I cannot believe it took me so long to get here. The instructor that I had was so kind and so patient and guided us through absolutely everything. I'm absolutely floored by my baby's progress in the pool; he went from constant scream-crying to laughing and splashing. I cannot recommend this place enough!
Stephanie Sumulong: I have an older child with a disability and set him up with private lessons last summer after doing an intro lesson/assessment. They assigned us to an instructor who only worked with him for 2 of the lessons. She was perennially late, cut the lesson short both times due to her having a class right after his lesson, and never made any true connection with him. We were never told if he would have substitute (which he did twice). Once when we came for our lesson the building was completely locked and another parent and I stood outside for close to 15 minutes waiting from them to let us in for our lesson, calling to check in and see if lessons had been cancelled because no one contacted us. Now maybe this place is great for little kids under 6, but they say on their website that they are for everyone, but we didn't feel that. It was the most overpriced waste of time and I would not recommend this swim school to anyone who values their time and consistency for their child.
Cindy Palomo: Our daughter loves the water and we thought swim lessons would be so easy for her. We quickly realized that she was extremely afraid of being in a pool. The number of tears and the amount of fear she had after her first group class could have filled that pool. Coach Annie and the rest of the team were super encouraging and reassured us that this was normal and that it may take a few classes for it to click for her. It didn’t.😉 We learned that she did better with 1-on-1 lessons so we went that route. Our daughter needed to trust Coach Annie and build her confidence, and Coach Annie has worked as slowly as was needed to build that sense of safety. Our daughter is now able to be in the pool with her floaties and can even do her classes with other instructors. Westwood Emler has been so patient with knowing her needs and adjusting their styles to help her be more confident. She’s taken a long time to get where she is and they understand that that’s okay. Our daughter used leave class sobbing and now she’s smiling and giggling. Their on-going support is noticed and very much appreciated. She’s taken small steps to get where she is but those tiny mountains make this little girl so proud of herself. One day she’ll move them!Thank you Westwood Emler!
Mary Spencer: We have only been at Emler for a few weeks but have been amazed how well my very shy and timid 4 year has responded. Miss Annie has been so sweet and patient. She does a great job making the kids feel comfortable. They have fun but are still learning. We love the small class sizes and all the time options so we could find a time that worked with our schedule. It has been so fun to watch! Would recommend!
Dacia Ayers: We love Emler!! They have done amazing with my son with teaching him how to swim and feel comfortable in the pool. He started out rough but now he can’t wait for swim lessons each week!!
Sarah Jabbour: Wonderful staff and lessons! The staff was super helpful and gave great feedback for my kids. My kids love going every week!
Savannah Northcraft: The instructors here are so sweet!
