Richlin Fabrics: what do users think?
Joy Garcia: Couldn't even get in because they only sell to businesses.
Rondi Anderson: For wholesale only. Very good at what they do.
Julie H: I have been ordering fabric from Laura Samet with Richlin Fabrics for the past several years and love doing business with her. Doesn't matter if I'm sending a question or an order she responds to my emails immediately. I've always received a quick turnaround time and my orders have always been accurate.
little threads: I placed an order with Richlin fabrics and we received one bolt in a broken box and re taped I ordered 6 bolts and I received only one. They shipped by Fedex , I called Richlin immediately to let them know the situation. They will going to pack my goods and ship and charge again my credit card. while they solve the problem with Fedex. We had recently the same situation in my business , we shipped to a customer their order and the box got lost with USPS, the customer called looking for a tracking number and I found out about the lost package. Immediately we repacked their order of my customer and we shipped their order. I never asked for the customer to pay back again while I found out and put a claim with the carrier. I have never heard of a customer service so bad as Richlin, they want to charge my credit card twice while they take their time to find out with Fedex what happened with the rest of the goods. I spoke with the owner and I am amazed that a person in business can deal with a situation so poorly.
Rhonda Barber: I have done business with them for approximately 3 yrs maybe 4. They are always very nice to work with. Also helpful when looking for something outside the box. I can’t say enough.
connie ratzlaff: Loved it
Cheryl Wyrick: Great place to save money!
Conni Begeman: Great
Fahren Green: Great place to acquire fabric of you buy several bolts.
Jill Petersen: Fabrics are good. Watch out for the shipping charges! Almost double what I was quoted and much higher than other wholesale suppliers. Put me in real trouble with my business.
Dan Novak (Prime Time Real Estate): Its awesome. Best selection in the world
Susi Matthews: Fabric at Wholesale prices in the warehouse (one must have a tax ID number to shop there) north of the river. Nice people & two shop dogs in residence. Great selection!
Tom H: If you are in the business, this is the place to go. Very friendly staff (and dogs)
Heather Loewenstein: Staff is always helpful and the stock is great.
Alexander Dyer: This place is cool, you got to buy a certain amount but if you need bolts of fabric there is a good selection and the quality is pretty fair.

Blick Art Materials: what do users think?
Stephanie Givens: Pretty cool art supply place. Prices weren't as high as I thought.
Mac Kreig: Nothing is better than the in store experience! Employees courteous and helpful.
pikejsp0: Friendly people. Easy to fine things.
Laurel loves Laughing: Staff is very helpful
Crystal L: Good art store. Llooking to paint or create an art project. This is the store for you. Staff is very helpful and helps find what you need.
Mike Parker: That's place is awesome and has everything! 🤘🏻
Paige Crosswhite: They have golden open always in stock
Kay Clements: Very helpful in finding what I needed.
Ronda R: They usually have what I need. Great selection. Well organized. Helpful people!
Ruthanne Smith: This is a hidden gem I found while driving down Main street. The staff was very helpful and the store had everything I needed. I will stop by again when I have more time to look
Michael Squires: Stopped in for some screen printing ink.
Sasha F: Always friendly and great sales on Copic markers! The store is always neat, organized and clean. Staff is always willing to help and greet you with a smile. I know when I go in there that I can usually find what I'm after and if I can't they have suggestions of where I can find it. I'm new to the area so they write down addresses and directions for me. Love this store!
Haley Jester Mott: I love that Midtown has this art supply store in a commerce dessert. It keeps me from traveling to the suburbs and shopping in corporate big box stores. The only reason I have awarded 4 and not 5 stars is because they cram a LOT into a small space and it can be a bit overwhelming.
Elio Fraenig: The folks who were working were super helpful and sweet when I was looking for materials for a cyanotype project. I'll definitely be going back to get supplies for future projects - they have a good amount of material for pretty much any medium you can think of!
EricZMann: If you're a serious artist and want quality medium and materials...... this is the place to go! The manager even helped me find an excellent glaze to cover this pottery and it looks great.
Sherrie Ortiz: Always an amazing collection of things I didn't know I needed.
Rebecca Altman: I love shopping for my art supplies at Blick. The employees are always super helpful
Warren Jackson: Great people. Any and everything you need to become a great artist, whether it's painting or drawing you can pretty much find it here.
Brandie Oehring: The store has a great assortment of art supplies if you're a painter, do pastels, and draw. The employees seemed ok but didn't talk to me. I was looking for pottery supplies but they didn't have much to choose from. Nice store overall, but probably look elsewhere for clay and pottery supplies.
Angel Marie: Yay, my favorite art store

ScrapsKC: what do users think?
Christy Huber: Best thrift store for Art supplies!
Lynn Monger: I LOVE SCRAPSKC
Jenna Munoz: Always an adventure, and we always find the supplies we need (plus more)!
Nik Huffman: One my favorite places in KC. A fan since the early days in the West Bottoms. Looking for something to do something? You can probably find it or figure it out here.
Melissa Humphries: Great place to buy art and craft supplies and support a good cause at the same time.
Beth Monger: Great place to find unique crafting, yarn and sewing items for a decent price and help people in need at the same time.
Anisa Gaines: Awesome place for crafts supplies with great prices. Fun to take kids here and let them pick stuff out
Chris McClenny: All sorts of nifty tidbits of things for almost any project! Staff super friendly!
Gina Donica: Love this place! Just wish it was closer to me! Inspiration around every corner!!
Virginia Long: Amazing place! They have figured out how to repurpose almost everything! Donate or shop. Or both! They're keeping stuff out of the landfills and helping the homeless too. A KC treasure everyone should know about and support.
Stephanie Mahoney: Great place to find fabric, office supplies, craft supplies and make donations. Lovett!
C H: Such a fun place, I love it!
Regina Moreno: Has a supply of fabric remnant at reasonable prices
Rebecca Gordon: Interesting little store with all kinds of fun "scraps" for crafting. Great place to get some inspiration.
Emily (Selkie): This shop is a little bit of a walk from the nearest bus stop (11 line, SW Blvd/31st St stop) but honestly worth the effort for all the goods. It's an arts and craft supply wonderland with competitive prices. The stock is always changing as it's (as far as I can tell) mostly reliant on donated supplies to populate the shelves. The yarn selection is really good. There's always a nice variety of different yarns, some interesting novelty stuff, a small section for higher end yarns, and some shelves with the standard types sold at craft stores. As far as other crafts go, there's fabrics (apparel and quilting), embroidery floss, a smaller selection of drawing and painting supplies, miscellaneous odds and ends, and office and school supplies. There's really something for everyone. The shopping experience was a little rougher than my first visit here (Saturday afternoon as opposed to like, a Wednesday at opening). The aisles were more crowded and kids were dashing around, kind of annoying. The yarn shelves were depleted considerably. That being said, I found what I needed and a few extra useful things. The prices aren't rock bottom thrift store prices but still way cheaper than full retail.Definitely check this place out if you're looking for supplies on the cheap. My only other real criticism is the limited open days/hours. I wish it was open more often.
Andy G: Wonderful place full of anything the creative mind would ever want or need, at incredibly good prices. Can’t recommend enough!
Beth Garbe: I love going to Scraps KC. I think it is a great concept the way it is set up to be a source of craft supplies for every type of craft or hobby imaginable. They have great, quality items and the prices can't be beat. Not to mention its proceeds go to such a worthwhile cause and the craft/hobby items people donate not are not just being thrown away and filling up a landfill.
Susan Runer: Nice people. Great way to get stuff out of the closet.
Selena J: As an artist, crafter and maker this place is magical ✨ I've found so many treasures and thankful that a place like this exists to keep items out of the landfills and into hands that love to make things. As if that's not enough, the hearts of those running and contributing to this store help the homeless, give away school supplies to teachers and have education programs to teach children about the environment and embracing their creativity.
Jacque Voss: Best crafting consignment store in the city. Great deals on everything
Ashley Holland: Awesome second hand store for art supplies. You never know what they'll have it's always a surprise! Plus they give back to the community 💚💚💚 go scraps KC

Kansas City Christian School: what do users think?
Ben Robinson: Overall, this school is a fantastic environment and safe place where your children can feel free to express themselves and their creative passions. Unfortunately, as this is a small school, there are some limits to athletic programs, but that does not mean that the school is un-athletic. the soccer and baseball programs are both excellent and provide your child with enough fitness training to be able to climb Mt. Everest. The school has incredible theater and music programs as well. Brian Miller is both an experienced actor and director, and he makes incredible shows every fall and spring. Trent Tinker is the band director, and he never fails to entertain with his fantastic performances and contagious enthusiasm. As stated above, I would recommend this school to any one.
Tereasa Gilmore: Quality education with a Biblical worldview.
Olivia Price: This school has been an amazing place to go, and I'll miss it when I leave!! The teachers are incredible and the community is welcoming and full of love!!!!!!!!!!
Austin & Rachel De Boer: I am a teacher at KCC and I love my job!
Megan Hutcheson: This school is a great pick if you want your student to grow up within close relations with his peers and teachers because the atmosphere is such a friendly and homelike place. Because of the size of the school however, you shouldn't be surprised at the lack of options, not saying that the classes are bad, but the size of the school restricts the school from greatly expanding their extra-curricular activities and classes. Otherwise the school is an excellent private education for your student to experience a conservative, traditional, and non-denominational learning experience with other Christian Teachers and Peers.
Nicholas Beach: This place is awesome yo!
Doug Goertzen: My son is in 1st grade and we love the school. Good teachers, high standards and expectations...but with teachers that love the kids.

Wendy Marroquin: Good teachers and programs en special miss Richardson

In the Fall of 2019, the school is expected to expand to the 4th grade and begin a middle school with a 6th grade, and add a grade each year thereafter.
Joe Tuso: All around great team!
Frank Kaffenberger: Not much of a fan of the new charter school trend s

Braden: They close at like 6:45 not 7
Skye De La Rosa: I stumbled upon this place while on a walk exploring the beautiful murals and graffiti in the neighborhood. The store was a nice surprise and I was able to get everything I needed for an upcoming watercolor class. These were items that were out of stock when I tried to order online from the major competitors. The prices are comparable but the fact that I could find what I needed was a huge plus. Cute neighborhood too!
Andrew Machen: Great art store with an impressive watercolor supply collection.
Susan Flower: My favorite art supply store in KC!
Victoria Restrepo: Support local shops!! Keep em in business. I love this place with all my heart!!

Andrew beach: Maggie was the absolute best! I am an artist who has been out of the loop for a while and she had no hesitation on showing me products and the advantage/disadvantage to them. She was honest and extremely personable never making me feel weird about asking questions. Thanks arts and craftsman supply, that's why I always come back.
Kristiebuddy123 Novak: By far my favorite store! Quality of everything is way better than box stores like hobby lobby or micheals. I find when I buy Quality it lasts longer.. when I buy cheap supplies I have to buy them often.. so I choose A&C the staff is always helpful and super kind!

Kansas City International Academy: what do users think?
Demetrius Richardson Taylor: It’s ok but they never want to hear what I say or nothing
Kansas City opinionated: This school Is trash. If you want your kid to attend a school where they don’t answer the phone, nor call you back regarding ANY matter, this is the one !! !! This school is very negligent on all aspects and its very sad i thought i was placing my son in good hands but i was100% wrong.
Amari Ca: School is okay. I attended here 4th to 6th grade. I made a lot of good friends mostly in 6th grade. I loved Mrs. Engle’s, Mrs. Berry’s, and Mrs. Orpin’s class. The field trips were really fun as well. I loved the Girls on the Run program. Ms. Danner is a great counsellor. We were like best friends. Food for breakfast and lunch was an on and off for me. Some meals were gross and some were good. I also love the donation program/closet. How nice that we can donate old clean clothes for struggling families and get a bag of food delivered to us every Friday or Monday I think. I loved my time here.
Hawa Mwenebyake: I like it
Arbey Abdi: I love going to Kcia so much the Teachers are so helpful I get to meet new people I love all of you guys
Heather Mozey: It is an amazing place to work!
Miguel Angel: Very nicewonderful teachers
James Larcher: I visited the 1st grade class and it was a really great experience. Kids were well behaved and very respectful.
Fun Storys: I went here and its in amazing school all of my teachers were awesome and so were the kids i would recamend going here
Nikyla Mozee: All they do up there is take people kids and put them in the system. They really dont support single fathers that is taking care of he's kids. They rather take the kids with no questions ask at all to the father. Then lie on them.
Courtney Minnich: Wonderful school!
jamie park: nice school
Amanda Simmons: Absolutely love this school and the teachers. My kids have learned so much since they started here back in August
Nicole S DeVriendt: Very nice school.

JOANN Fabrics and Crafts: what do users think?
Russell Primeaux: Alrighty then .
Michele Evink: The staff was genuine and helpful. In contrast to some other locations I've been to, this group actually cared and was helpful. So nice!
Sophia A: I always have such a great experience when I come here and find everything I need and more. I was in-and-out quickly with exactly what I needed but wanted to take the time to say thank you for people working there, like Wren. He is one of those special people you meet right away and know he is such a kind, generous, sweet human being. He made my whole day during my short little run. Thank you for being a part of the team!! :)
Mallory Fergason: I always have some of the best customer service experiences here. Their cashiers are always so kind - my recent shop there I was checked out by Wren who really brightened my day ☀️
Gloria LaFollette: Dirty, especially the bathroom. Outdated pattern books and the pattern drawers are almost empty.
Angie Zacharias: Always have what I need and more. CRAFTERS paradise.
amanda: I love joanns they have the best staff.
Kendra Young: Long lines
Michelle Marshall: This place has changed. It is a lot more than fabrics now. It is more like hobby lobby with all sorts of craft materials. I went to get paint brushes for pottery. They were buy one get one free! I spent $5 dollars and got 2 decent glaze brushes. The quality is better than other cheap brushes I have used.
Stacey Marie: The selection at this store was marvelous. It did seem that they are always running a 40% off special of some sort, considering the seasonal decor is overpriced. For the most part, the store was well organized. The bathrooms were not cleaned, but it was a Sunday and they were clearly short staffed with a very packed house. I do not recommend going on the weekend. There was 2 checkouts going...about a half hour in line. They do offer online ordering and in store pick up for 25% off. I will go back on a less busy day.
playalots: I’ve been going to this JoAnn location for years and there’s always this wonderful Hispanic gentleman that helps us out all the time. No matter of how busy or hectic it is the store, he is always pleasant and has a smile on his face.He lets us know of any good deals and coupons that are available and is very knowledgeable about the products. Besides the broad fabric selection, he’s the reason I keep coming back. We need more workers like him.
Walt S: Lots of sketch art supplies. Very knowledgeable staff when asking about different products. They even directed me to a coupon that saved me 60% today.
Teresa C: Plenty of everything. Not a lot of service. It seems everyone is just supposed to know how to shop here and how to get fabricVisible signs would definitely help a newcomer feel more welcome.
Mike Pangburn: This Joann is undergoing a management change and is a bit on the messy side. The employees are kind, hard working and will do whatever they can to help the customers get what is needed for their craft project.
C R: They alway seem to haveehat i need
Jon D Barnett: Lots of stuff, but i only go for the yarn.Too much emphasis on gimmicky discounts/coupons/sales. I always leave thinking I've been ripped off with high prices because I don't play their marketing games.
Sherri Johnson: We went for the basic sewing class. The teacher was excellent.
Angela Pope: A certain person that works in receiving is very rude and has very poor people skills it's really sad to see that person treat people so poorly......
C Coe: was only in long enough to get scissors
Teresa Whitworth: Love this store, great finds!
Ron Groves: They need staffing review only one register open I saw enuff staff there for another open checkout and still have store covered bead selection has diminished from couple years ago
