When it came time to pick it up the people in the yard loaded it and took time to explain how everything went together. The scaffolding was in excellent shape and was easy to assemble on site.

I'm a review writing fanatic because I think people deserve to know both the good and the bad about a company. I went to Tiffany Springs because the first Home Depot I went to rented me faulty equipment. I had to call a technician to come fix it. Having said that, the issue I have is that Sam in tool first told me that he couldn't rent a piece of equipment to me because it was too cold outside... Which is a lie because I've been through this before....the rule is 24 degrees, and it's only a suggestion at that. Not only that, but it's a suggestion for diesel. The tool I wanted was unleaded. I'm very familiar with Home Depot's tool rental department. I contacted Compact Tool Rentals which is who leases them to Home Depot and they told him to rent it to me if it starts. Sam then lied to me and Dan, the technician for compact tools, by telling us that he already tried starting it. The reason I know he lied is because when we walked outside to try starting it, we had to break the ice away to get the key to go into the ignition... My employees just laughed. He tried turning it over 2 times and said it wouldn't start so he couldn't rent it to me. It's extremely aggravating being lied to by an employee of a company that I spent over $250,000 with last year. On top of that, the machine that they initially rented me had no gas in it... I'm supposed to return it with a full tank, but how am I going to get reimbursed for filling it up the first time? I'm sorry that it's cold and you didn't feel like fooling with it, but I have a business to run and homeowners waiting. If you check my companies reviews, I have all five star reviews except for one four star review. You should train your employees to care more about your regular customers and to have a little integrity. I definitely won't be using this Home Depot ever again.

Davis Remodeling: Not a fan of this location most associates in tool rental are oblivious to the actual functionality of the tools and when you complain about it they say well what do you want me to do. This location cost me over $1000 and blew me off when I told them the guy sent me with the wrong tool and wanted me to rent additional equipment to fix the issue. Not asking for reimbursement but the correct tool would have been nice since it was 20ft away

Don Trio: Rented earth moving equipment. Returned in less than a day. Asked if I cleaned it. I stated I brushed it off the best that I could. Rep went out checked it while making me wait 10 to 15 min. When he came back he stated you didn’t clean it. And then went on to say that he was going to charge me $200 to clean it and then said next time he would make me go clean it better. I was like for earth moving equipment that is very clean. He said I’m going to wave it this time. Like he was doing me a favor waisting my time and lecturing me. I have a commercial account at Home Depot. I was like this is how you treat your customers. I’m won’t be renting from you guys again.

Noel P: Great place to rent those one time use tools and yard seasonal machines that you probably only use once every 2 years. Machines always work and are tested in front of you. Staff is always there to assist and the rates are extremely reasonable.

Erik Beier: Just don't do it. Drive to another location if you need to rent a tool. I wasted over an hour trying to fix the floor sanders I rented. Within 10 min of use a bolt fell out of the mechanism that lifts the drum off the floor, which let the drum fall to the floor and gouge it. So I got to feather that out. The bolt can't be tightened all the way of you cannot move the lever. It is the incorrect part. I had to keep an allen wrench in my pocket and tighten it every so often to make sure it didn't back all the way out.I looked behind me after the first pass with the edger and to my horror saw huge burnished streaks behind me. Upon inspection one of the casters was not rotating. I got to take that apart and clean the dust out of the bearing. The pad that backs up the sand paper is so torn up the sander hops around and doesn't contact the floor properly. No adjustment of the casters could correct this. I even tried to dress the pad which helped a little. I explained all of these issues when I returned the items and the guy did not even pay attention. He just put the sanders back on the shelf. So good luck to the next person that rents equipment. And no, they won't give you a discount because they rented out broken equipment.Oh yeah, last straw, the tool dept. said that their system would not let me return the extra sand paper I had. I was sent to Customer Service which is at the other end of the store. The woman at Customer Service asked me why I didn't return them at the tool rental .... ! She acted like she was angry and threw the items in a tub one by one.Customer service is non existant. I feel completely ripped off. Do not ever rent from this location, drive over to Merriam.

Andrew Ayala: They robbed us. Me and my business partner rented a floor maintainer for 24 hours. This costs about $150. They told us if there are any problems to bring it back. The maintainer broke after a few hours. My business partner tried to take it back but they refused to take it back "because it was dirty". We cleaned it ourselves even though Home Depot offers that service with rentals. Tried again. They kept running the machine in the air and said it worked. I told them the air is not a concrete floor. We showed them a video of the machine not working and they accused us of not holding the handle/throttle down. They offered a $7 refund for the 20 hours left ont he rental (ended up being 60 cents). I said what I need is another 3 hours with a machine that works, we paid for 24 hours. Then they tried to rent another machine for another $150. They told us the machine worked while they were taking it apart in front of us trying to see what was wrong. They treatede us like criminals after they had the credit card information. I will never shop at Home Depot ever again. I'll drive the extra 5 minutes to Lowe's.

Clifton Willis: I like going to home improvement stores, but my experience here wasn't very great. I originally came with my dad to rent one of there trucks. We called ahead of time to make sure they had one, which they did, and when we showed up we not only waited in line for 25 mins, but once we were at the counter we come to find out the last truck was rented out. I'm not sure what they could do to help people in our situation, maybe ask everyone in line if their inquiry is related to a truck rental or something. It was just a long waste of time. Very unsatisfied and the customer service wasn't very great either.
