Adriana Miranda: I have been a loyal customer for 10 years and I am very disappointed on the service I received today.I had a return, it had been a couple weeks over the 30 day new policy and the associate told me that because of the time the items were not returnable, I asked to speak to a manager, when she showed up, (Chika is her name), she did not introduced herself and simply said "The items are not returnable because is been more than 30 days", she turned around and offer help to somebody else and left me there, didn't look at me or wait for a response, like I was invisible, I had to go around where she was to ask for the store manager's name, she said the name is "bolgena" I asked her to please write down for me, she said "We are not allowed to do that", I grabbed a piece of paper and asked her to spell the name for me, she said "The name is bolgena". and turned around to help the other customer, I was about to loose it so I left and went to another counter to get the store manager's name. Julie at the jewelry counter was amazing, she could tell I was upset and offer to help, she stated they can do a one time exception on the new policy and she did the return for me. Thank you Julie!I want to say, the main reason why I am so upset is not because I could not return the items, it is because how I was treated by CHIKA. She should not be in a manager position if she is unable to show respect for customers, needles to say, to provide customer service.
Jessica Collins: Been going to this Macy's since it opened in 1979 and so happy it is still open! I miss the old indoor Mall days but when I visit this Macy's it brings back great memories! Parking is way sufficient, and the clerks I interacted with were very helpful and friendly! I will continue to hang out at this Macy's, it is convenient and usually has what I am looking for!

They also had lots of sale items marked down quite a bit. They have very nice products and it was well laid out. They still have furniture and mattress upstairs as well. Nice to try the purple mattress in person.

Still very clean, but the bare shelves and displays, low selection in anything but the junior department (WHY?). The older shoppers like myself, that have been diehard Macy's patrons for 40+ years have little selection to choose from.

I was disappointed because I'd spent time, gas and effort to come into the store. I also, wasn't able to exchange and get the free gift that was being offered at the time.While disappointing it wasn't this lady's fault she was simply stating the store policy, which I can respect. They've changed the store around quite a bit since the last time I was there so it's a bit challenging to find things now until you get used to the new layout but sometimes there's pain in progress.Overall the staff was professional, worked to assist and clearly stated and provided required information. Atmosphere is esthetically appealing and there are good deals to be discovered.

Teresa Hill: Unfortunately today I was racially profiled at the Macys Town Center location. I was in the store for about an hour or so. While in there I noticed several different workers watching me. Never offered any assistance just watching. So once I purchased my items and walked out to my car a white police officer, drove pass me and just stared at me? I proceeded to drive away and that same officer followed me for about 5 min. Only to finally go around me after running my car tags I’m sure. So it’s safe to say Macys called them on me, because I was shopping while black is my theory? The parking lot was full of white women, and I obviously got singled out this was no coincidence. Beware people of color!!!This doesn’t deserve this one star trust me..

Emily: Cindy is arrogant, condescending, and lost the store $300+. I had a return that I was going to redeem for store credit and turn around and spend in surplus. I’ve never had any type of issue with a return before until I met Cindy at the Plaza. I had a box of exfoliating wipes that I used over half, deciding that the results aren’t worth the $60 for the product. After giving it a good go, I came to the Plaza location for the first time in years. I was denied a refund for different reasons, with the reasons changing every time. All these brand new “policies” I’ve never heard before. First I was told since it was over 30 days (5 weeks) they can’t do anything. I said that was fine cause I wanted a store credit anyway, and they said I’m beyond timeframe for store credit too. Then I was told it’s because they have a “75% policy” where the product can’t be over 75% used. I showed that the product was not over 75% used, and the supposed policy changed to “actually it has to be 75% full to return.” So, the product can only be 25% used to return? I have never heard that before and I’ve shopped at Sephora for 10+ years and spend thousands every year. As I was trying to understand, Cindy was very rude and condescending, seeming to enjoy what “power” she felt she had to deny me this. Maybe she felt she was saving her store money from the refund, but she lost $300+ in purchases I was about to make. I went ahead and drove to OP to do my return and purchase and the ladies there were so sweet and didn’t even ask any questions. It’s people like Cindy who should not be in customer service, and should not represent the store. I will not be spending my money at this location, and I hope somebody takes according action because Cindy is a very poor employee and does the store and company more harm than good.

Allison Lester: I went to this location to shop today. While in the store, I sampled a perfume and did, infact buy a bottle. When I got to the checkout, the clerk asked, "what's that smell?" I replied "it's probably the perfume I just bought." She proceeded to tell me how it stunk and that it made her sick. I deliberately signed up for rewards because the associates are so amazing, the inventory is so well-stocked that I WANT to give this place more business.

Slow Sweeper: After 25 years I canceled my jcpenny card and say goodbye. I liked penny's because they have sizes and styles different from other places. I have tried to exchange or get refund on 2 pants I purchased in wrong size, and they say there is nothing they can do because of the way the were rung up at the register. I didn't go Karen I just said ok and left. I went to another location, was going to exchange but couldn't. These are regular stock dress pants, not clearance or no longer stocked items. I have had several small issues over the year, but not like this. So I won't go back. Maybe you will have better results.

They don’t have a huge selection for him, but it’s bigger than most stores in the same price range. He was able to find some shorts and swimming trunks that he liked and that fit him.

Megan Parrott: While the store is presentable and has a well amount of product in stock, the employees are not very helpful. A few times I’ve been in I’ve been greeted. But most times I am not. If I’m being greeted, they never offer to help or ask if they can help me with something (which I don’t expect if they are busy). After browsing around, it is often hard to find someone or get their attention to assist me. When I need help, I have to take a few laps to find someone available to help. After asking for help, they usually respond with “I’ll be with you in a minute,” and they never seem to help me.
Polly Weist: Crystal helped me this afternoon as I shopped. I needed help and had questions on multiple items including foundation and bronzer. She was patient, knowledgeable and super helpful. Great customer service!

Jillian O'Connell: I normally enjoy my Dillard’s experiences but this one continues to struggle with customer service. From shoes, dresses, to women’s attire, the sales associates have consistently been inattentive and unhelpful.
Kathryn Polidore: We went there with a disabled family member who normally uses a walker but the distance through the mall proved to be a bit too much for them. Dillards has a wheel chair for their customers' use but it was not where it is usually kept. The manager spent over 15 minutes tracking it down for our family member. Our family member finds it difficult to find clothes that fit properly so the sales staff went above and beyond finding just the right clothes for our family member and gave an additional discount because we had waited for them to find the wheel chair. Nothing but compliments for the men's department.
Jeremiah Ohlman: Customer service for men's suits was incredibly rude. Needed some general measurements so I could begin my search and was met with nothing but arrogance and rudeness. Not helpful at all.
Bailey Ostrom: I’ve always liked Dillard’s. What’s nice about the Oak Park Mall location is how it’s always been separated into two stores: Dillard’s North (Women’s) and Dillard’s South (Men’s and Housewares). I really like that because it keeps all departments organized. They are usually pretty friendly and helpful in both stores. Also worth mentioning is how they really do go all out with their holiday displays.

Julie Antonic: So if you happen to be looking looking for a a nice dress or outfit, This dillard's is definitely the place to be. With two floors of women's clothing they have so many options. My partner and I were able to find outfits to wear to our upcoming wedding as well as a few other Nice pieces for our wardrobes. They also had some really great sales that seriously made me question ever shopping at kohl's again. The only thing I did not like was their staff obviously works on commission. They were friendly but It was obvious they were competing with each other.
