Mallory Baker: We had a gift card so we decided to go for the first time for my birthday dinner. I was a little nervous after reading a few recent reviews, but wanted to try something new. We enjoyed ourselves and I’m glad we tried it, but without the gift card I would have disappointed that we spent so much for the quality of our entrees. Even with the gift card it was a little pricey. The apps and dessert were our favorite parts, so I think it might be better for lunch or happy hour. Here is my review of each item-Service and atmosphere- 10/10. Our waiter was great and it was really cool to look out the windows and see the plaza at night. The ceiling was also beautiful.Raspberry mule- 8/10 the flavor was really good but tasted a little watery and there didn’t seem to be much alcoholLavender haze- 5/10 honestly it was ordered because of the Taylor Swift song but it had a very weird aftertaste. I don’t think the lavender flavor and alcohol mixed well. Drinkable but didn’t order a second.Shrimp kisses- 10/10 amazing. Perfect amount of chili kick, sweetness, and saltiness. Hot and delicious. Would go back just for those.Lobster bisque- 10/10 so good. Creamy, flavorful, and hot.Filet and mashed potatoes- 7/10. The seasoning on the steak was fine and it was cooked to the correct temperature (medium), but both the steak and potatoes felt a little bland and honestly underwhelmingHalibut with roasted potatoes and asparagus- 7/10 the food was good but not very flavorful and the portion was a bit smallChocolate bag- 10/10 it was a fun, interactive dessert that felt like a whole experience unique to this restaurant. Not only was it fun to break the bag, it was delicious to eat!

Seth Edelinski: I brought my wife in for dinner and dessert. She had been once before and loved it. Absolutely loved the vibes. My wife is gluten-free, and they were very accommodating. Most of the menu seems to be gluten-free in the first place, but they are happy to help with any substitutions needed. The food was absolutely delicious and flavor and incredibly on point.We ordered the adobo mushroom carnitas wrap, substituting the sprouted grain wrap for corn tortillas as a gluten-free option. We also ordered the I Am Reflective (Asian yam & mushroom bowl). Growing up in a Taiwanese household I can honestly say the flavor on the mushroom stir fry in this dish is very authentic. Kyle Pearce: Very friendly service! I was surprised by the serving size as it was much larger than anticipated. The “I am Bonita” dish is what I chose and it was really good. The variety of different flavors ultimately led me to eating the whole dish. This place is much different than your standard vegan restaurant as everything is much more earthy and organic.

I'm in NE Johnson County, and it arrived within a half hour of ordering.I started with the edamame dumplings. The broth was yummy, and the dumplings were so tasty! I also picked out the spaghetti squash casserole as I love spaghetti squash with tomato sauce. It was very cheesy, and the sauce was delicious!I finished things off with the pink lime tart. I wonder if the crust would have been a bit more crisp had I been in the restaurant itself rather than eating at home, but it was still really good. I could only eat half of it after all that other food, and would say it's a perfect sharing size for 2 people as a meal finisher.Will definitely order from here again in the future!

Ryan Warren: This for the brunch. Let me start off by saying that the food that is offered is good. I am a big fan of the hash browns, and although the wait at the omelette station is long, it’s also very good. But the biggest downfall here is the price. It is $34.99 a person, and this does not include your drink. To me, this is way too much money for what you are getting. We will not be back.

Heather Taylor: just dined on your zona Rosa location and I was charged $8 to add a side garden salad to my grilled salmon entree. I asked the server and she said it was not _$4.50 to add it to that since it was not an “entree”. I looked on the app and it most definitely it categorized as an entee and it also has the option in the app to add a salad for $4.50. Why is this different in the app? I would never pay $8 for an add on salad to a $22 entree. I am highly disappointed with this visit.
Caleb Nino: 5 stars for beer, 3 stars for the food. They have quite a selection of both seasonal and core beers that is sure to have something everyone would enjoy, I tried Irish red ale, 2 different IPA, (west coast and New England) and a couple others and all were very good!I will say, however, that I have had a lot of really good bar/brewery food where I’m from, and this really missed the mark… The beer cheese was very thin and runny, almost watered down? It didn’t really taste like anything haha. The spinach dip was very greasy and coagulated. The boneless wings were pretty spot on, with an Old bay dry rub that was very original and tasty!Overall good atmosphere and would probably come again, just maybe not for dinner.
Natalya Crisostomo: I had high expectations for this restaurant but left disappointed. The service was good, nothing out of ordinary. The food however was below average at best. The kids meals were pretty large but came out cold. My sandwich was okay , a little too salty and over toasted. My husband seemed to like his roast beef so that was great. The worst part was the grossness of the bathrooms, both were disgusting. We had to take our children to the restaurant next door to use the restroom.

Dena Tuttle: We have Celebrated Easter brunch with Granite City for the last 3 years. This year their table layout was awful. My son in law actually had dirty food dropped on him from a server who was trying to get dirty dishes back to the kitchen. The servers had to squeeze between the carving station and OUR table (which was a party of 8). Then after only being there for 1 /12 hours the hostess came and all but asked us to leave because they needed our table.Again we were a party of 8 with 2 small children. Worst Easter experiences ever. We will never frequent this establishment again. So thank you Granite City for ruining our family meal. I hope others will come forward with their honest opinions also. We saw ALOT of frustrated guests this year.
Steve Aydogan: Terrible tasting food..so salty that you could not taste anything else...fish so chewy that makes your jaw hurt after a while. Chicken sliders had a chicken patty missing..came with mayo and pickle in the bun.Maybe dine in experience would be better, but, definitely avoid the carry out. $80 worth of trash!
B Dickey: I had the Cheeseburger sliders, and our waiter was Mitch, super energetic, gers things done, and very cheerful. The cheeseburger sliders were also amazing, perfectly cooked, the buns were amazing. Especially the fries as well, best fries ever no doubt. My brother had the shrimp tacos and he said they were amazing, will definitely be coming more often.

Jesse Shaw: My wife and I were in town for the Top Gun softball tournament in June with our 14 year old daughter and we stopped here for some KC BBQ. Really we stopped to try the "Z-Man" sandwich that Peter Schrager (NFL Network) claimed was soo good. The place was packed on a Thursday at 11:30am. In fact the line was out the door (see pic). But the line only took 25 minutes and the wait staff was very good about keeping people from sitting at a table before they even ordered, which also worked very well with having plenty of seats available when we actually got our food. Also we placed our order at the cash register and had our food within 60 seconds. We ordered the Z-man, The Carolina Pig and my daughter had a kids chicken dinner. For sides we had the Mac-n-Cheese and BBQ Baked Beans. The Mac-n-Cheese was good but the Baked Beans were over done to me. Like the beans were kinda smashed and mushy. We did not finish them. My daughters chicken looked good but as she took the meat off the bone there were a couple pink parts and definitely a spot of red blood. Overall great food, I will just stay away from the kids chicken dinner and baked beans next time.

Bryan Whitehead: I’ve been dining here since before it was called La Bodega, so naturally it’s an enduring favorite for me. I always get a combination of tapas, so I don’t have much experience with entrees or salads. The small plates are outstanding. Almost everything I’ve gotten here has been an excellent combination of good basic cuisine and delicious sauce. I’m a big garlic fan, and they do an especially good job with garlic-intensive flavors.I just about always get the brotxeta and the papas fritas con ajo. From there it depends on what’s on special, what my companions want to try and what happens to catch my eye. As I said, I’ve almost never gone wrong. They also do a good job with cocktails. On my most recent visit I got an allspice daiquiri that was quite good.The service here is excellent. I recommend going during happy hour for the cheaper tapas and reduced noise level. Getting lots of small things can add up to a big bill at the end of the meal, and parking can be a little weird. But really this is one of KC's best dining experiences.
Ben Valley: I love tapas places and they are too few. This place is EXCELLENT! If you've never tried or you love tapas..... GO! They also have crazy cheap happy hour deals that are almost HALF OFF! You are doing yourself a disservice if you don't go. There are few places like this a one. Happy hour is Monday to Friday from 2 to 5. Bring a date, bring a spouse, bring of your friends, or go alone. BUT GO!!!!!

Emily Simpson: This place was okay. It was obviously trendy, but I went there with my dad and his older friends, and they couldn't understand the menu, and then you're outside and you've got the noise from the cars driving above you. The two tapas items that I picked from the menu for the table were a hit, but the other two that the table just went with at the suggestion of the server were kinda meh. The drinks were delicious, though. And though noisy, the patio was super cute. I think I'd have a different experience going back with friends. Not for the older crowd, I'd say. I think it could be a 5 star experience if I went with my girlfriends.

Anita Todd: Our first time eating at Piropos. Our server Jill was excellent. We had the crab bisque which was amazing. My husband had the ribeye. Perfectly cooked and delicious. I had the medallions and shrimp. The sauces were so delicious. They gave us a free sample of the bread and dipping sauces which we ate during and after dinner. Betsy Mattison: Can’t believe I’ve lived in this city my whole life and just now tried Eddie V’s. You can tell by the abundance of staff that they take their business very seriously. From valet to our waitress, everything was excellent. Lobster tacos, crab cake, patron margarita and king crab legs were all top notch. Princesses of the 417 Company: Beautiful inviting atmosphere, very upscale but not too stiff. Erica was our phenomenal waiter, but all of the staff was efficient and kind/courteous. The food and dessert was perfect. My 5 year old remarked that the restaurant was so fancy and he wished he was wearing and bowtie. Erica emerged moments later with her own bowtie from her uniform and put it on him. It made him feel so special. The whole experience was over the top and wonderful, our bellies and hearts are full!
Tom Dougherty: Super professional staff all around. The Front of house got us checked in and appeared to move everyone through quite efficiently. Our server Steven went the extra mile to take care of us. My wife got queasy about the time we arrived, and he saved the experience for us. I think 5s all around are appropriate. Tuna was great, scallops were solid. Drinks were on point (with some of Steven's advice/ executive decision making)
