Two Light Luxury Apartments: what do users think?
David Donnelly: Living at two light for 2+ years has been a great experience. The social aspect is amazing and unlike other luxury apartments I have lived at in past, they don't just sell the idea of community. There is a true sense of community and many of my neighbors are now some of my closest friends. The amenities are the best in Kansas City by far. The building is well maintained and EXTREMELY CLEAN! The cleaning staff at two light is outstanding. The morning after a large event, the amenity space will look brand new, almost like magic!
Riley Dority: I just wanted to take the time to give a shout out to Mr. Derrick Williams and definitely Ms. Etta. They are such a cup of coffee in the morning and always make you feel right at home. Every time I see them they are working with a smile and always ready to say hello. So glad they are here.
Amira Ali: I’ve lived at Two Light for almost 2 years. The Events and Community ran by AD are unmatched! It’s not just an apartment or luxury living, those are great too, but it’s a community! You won’t regret it!Update: the maintenance team is very friendly and efficient. Etta and Derrick will always be there to greet you in the morning! They add to the comfortable environment.
Autumn Black: 5 star review for the staff! The best thing about living at Two Light is the sense of community created by the staff. Every morning, I’m greeted by Shannon, Derrick and Etta who help keep our building running smoothly and efficiently. They always make sure to talk to my little dog TJ and give him a treat, too. :)
Stefon David: Derrick and Etta do a great job at keeping the property clean and always putting a smile on your face. They’re hard workers and wonderful people!
Carolyn Bogut: Two light is an amazing place to live. Between the amenities, location, and atmosphere of course it’s amazing. What makes Two Light above and beyond is the entire staff. Derek with maintenance is always so kind and helpful and is always available for residents needs, Victoria with reception is always so welcoming and remembers regular guests. All the staff here at two light make it such a comfortable to community to live in and be a part of.
aditya v: what makes living better at two light is the relentless hard work that everyone in staff put in everyday. Constantly upgrading the common area for the new feel and always top notch cleaning and ongoing maintenance with a smile on face. Had great experience with Etta and Derick with their diligence at work and readiness to help the residents make most of it. They and other people in staff make sure the place is spotless and everything works as it’s supposed to, and are so humble. Definitely a shout out to Maxwell at leasing for being so overarching, accommodating and for being simply Awesome.
Travis Torres: One perk management doesn’t share with you is the crew that helps keep the property clean. Not only do they do a great job but such lovely people to talk and get to know. Derrick and Etta always greet you with a smile and laugh! Keep it up and thank you!
Brenda: The staff are super nice. Shannon and Derrick (I hope I spelled your names right!) have always been very friendly and assist with any questions I ever have had! They truly help everyone in their best interest!!
Sky Thomas: Best place to live hands down! The staff is awesome, Derek always has a smile on his face & is willing to help.
Sam Seaton: Love this apartment. One of the two light workers, Derrick, has always been great with keeping the apartments amenities/floors clean and is friendly to all residents!
Tabatha Martin: Two Light is not just a Luxury apartment building but a true sense of community. From the first meeting with Maxwell ( in Leasing) who had our needs met from the beginning and Darrien always ready to go the extra mile for whatever you need. Tyler and Ad (Activities) keeps the bar area organized, nicely stocked with the best libations and of course fun. These two young men work very hard at keeping events planned and to make sure that people have reason to connect. From paint and sips to 80"s themed dance parties and the amazing Saturday brunches with mimosas the activities staff has it more than covered. Ally (bartender) is there to keep your glass full and of course be of good company. Etta and Gloria (housekeeping) pays great attention to detail and keeps the entire building looking spotless. Etta always has a smile on her face and fun to chat with. Derek, Shane and Robbie in Maintenance are quick to respond and fix all maintenance request. Shannon and Victoria at the front desk are there to offer friendly greetings to all guest and residents and watch out for the safety of the building. At first I was apprehensive to sell the family home and move to an apartment but we could not have made a better choice. Our 12 month lease will turn in to 24 as we plan on staying for awhile. We love the Two Light family.
D S: I have lived here for 5 months, and it has been the best 5 months I've ever had in Kansas City. It's a home away from home and the staff is incredible. Etta in particular always goes out of her way to check in with us - it's so great to have friendly faces in this community. I highly recommend living here the place is fantastic!!!
Anthony Spano: Lived here for a couple years. Overall, been a great experience. The building crew and staff are great. Miss Etta always goes above and beyond AND puts a smile on my face every time I see her!
Victoria Hill: I went to Two Light KC and I was greeted by a really sweet lady by the name of Etta hard working ,friendly and very helpful they need more people like her around ❤️
Kelli Dummerth: Etta is my GIRL! She’s so thorough and energetic. Love the staff for keeping our home fun, safe, and beautiful.
Hunter Mykel McPherson: House keeping is always on it! Whole staff is extremely friendly and always willing to have a convo or help
Roosevelt: Etta & Derrick are great! They ensure everything is cleaned in a timely manner and are always so pleasant & kind when I see both of them.
Danica Gall: Living at Two Light this past year has been wonderful. From the Friendly and outgoing Leasing staff, Helpful property manager, Resident events, Front desk attendants, Awesome Maintenance staff, this place is hard to beat.Don't even get me started on the views from my apartment, and the tremendous amenity floor, I could live in that spa pool room forever. If you're considering a place to live in Kansas City, Downtown, Two Light is the place for you!! If I could give 10/5 Stars I would.
Tyson Li: I recently had the pleasure of working with Andrea, the property manager at Two Lights, for my lease signing process. I must commend Andrea for her remarkable professionalism and dedicated customer service throughout the process.Andrea made the leasing experience smooth and straightforward, guiding me with patience and understanding every step of the way.If you're considering Two Lights for your housing needs, you can look forward to an excellent level of service and a welcoming community, spearheaded by individuals like Andrea. LeasingKC: what do users think?
Jim Riley: I have been looking for a new apartment. Leasing kc puts out internet ads that are wildly inaccurate as far as price
Noneya Business: Do not move into Chadwick apartments located at 16. E 34th terrace. There is a huge cockroach infestation. The basement level also has a huge flooding problem. There is a huge mold issue in the floors and walls. Nothing was done upon multiple complaints.
Kristin Andrades: I had an inquiry about a property for rent and they responded promptly and answered my questions efficiently.
Casey Brown: Positive:Professionalism,ResponsivenessLeslie Sloan has been my point of contact through the leasing process and she has exceeded my expectations at every turn. She’s been responsive, and so helpful in answering my questions and fulfilling requests in anticipation of my December move.
Steven Ward: Nice place
PE Johnson: Iconic part of KCMo. Most cities would have taken a wrecking ball. Like it or not, today it was high customer traffic, se real blacked owned businesses, and the mall was clean and security was visible. All stores had friendly staff, no more standing on a platform watching over customers. We made several purchasesMind you it was 3pm......
Leah Maki: LeasingKC is a great source when looking for apartments in Kansas City. Their site is easy to use, offers great photography and content, and up-to-date information on specials and availability.
Alita Thornburg: I love working with Leasing KC! Terra Management has used Leasing KC to assist with apartment rentals for the last few years with TONS of success. Their website is very user friendly and provides a fantastic presentation of our properties. I personally love all the efforts they make to feature clients throughout their extensive social media presence. Corey, Layne, Jacey and crew are fantastic!!
915 Broadway: They have done nothing but send qualified leads and provide amazing customer service. Can't wait to see your company expand more and continue to use your services. Corey is a GREAT rep for our downtown community.
Lauren Sieker: The team is very responsive, and the website is very easy to update.
Maddie Banz: Staff were professional and incredibly helpful through my journey of finding my new home! Definitely would recommend this awesome company!
Sarah Allen: The associates are super nice and helpful! Very satisfied with the leasing process and communication was great throughout. Thanks!
Logan Thompson: I moved to KC in a bit of a rush, new job and what not. LeasingKC was able to consider my wants for an apartment and show me exactly what I liked. They also accommodated my schedule, which helped tremendously during my visit. The staff was very nice to work with, and very forthcoming with any recommendations. I'd recommend to anyone looking to move or relocate in Kansas City.

Waldo Heights Apartments: what do users think?
It's Me: Her name is Marissa & I'm giving it a 5 Star & I haven't even got approved yet I just did my application today...but the way she treated me & really cared about me having a new home was good enough for me, excellent office team.(No apartments) are perfect just so u guys know. Great customer service 👍
Zach Thomas: Bed bugs and lost rent money orders are what you get with these slum lord's. Don't even waste your time.
Salem Swann: I just know when the cops (or firefighters, EMTS, paramedics, etc) get the bi-weekly call to come out here they’re like “Waldo Heights, AGAIN?!” But, I suppose that’s what keeps the cost of rent one of the cheapest in town.
Cassidy Eggers: Do not move here. I lived here for 3 years and I the all neighbors where nice and welcoming but management is terrible. I terminated my lease one month before it ends ( started college) and paid the last month I was living there. Signed a paper that I left and terminated my lease and now owe them another month..... Tell me how that makes sense? I talked the manager maria i think her name was and she was very rude and had a fake happy voice if yea know what I mean never go here there are apartments right next door for the same price.
Vivica Crawford: My ex lived here about a year ago, I remember the elevator and hallways were very creepy at night. Very easy access into the buildings... the apartment itself was decent but he had several incidents with mice, we could hear them in the vents at night and the roaches were real bad. I don't recommend this place at all!
Rich Bitch: Roaches, shootings, arson. Property management doesn’t care. Don’t live here.
Janette Chichura: I would have given this place a higher rating IF my car hadn't of been shot up when there was an altercation between two or more other people. It was in the middle of the night and I woke up to the damage it went through my fender and destroyed the electrical in the passenger side of my car. There are always shootings happening in and around our parking lots and there is always someone fighting. I wouldn't recommend this place to someone I hated.
raquel heaven: If I could put no stars I WOULD ! THE ROACH INFESTATION IS RIDICULOUS ! I’m more scared of them then they are of me ! I’ve done witnessed flying roaches here. The roaches will greet you at your front door !! And Whatever the exterminator is using to kill, the roaches are using it to multiply….. at this point I think it’s crack to them.Don’t move here, it’s embarrassing
p mAY: The office staff are super friendly. I can't wait to move in. The apartment seems spacious for me and my kids and there is a lovely looking park very close to the unit.
Ro Whitaker: The staff is awesome and Mrs.Sherita
Leondre Gibson: Very ruede!
Patrick George: This apartment complex is the worst on earth . I came to visit my sister for the holidays, and after suffering the lose of our mother in may and five months later losing our baby sister. Only to spend time with my other sister her apartment burned down to the ground. She and I lost everything that we owned even our mothers ashes that can never be replaced. It's still under investigation. But due to poor maintenance I know is the top reason why the building burned down only to find out the new unit that they placed her in caught fire a month ago and forced several tenants out of there homes. It took the complex 5 months to provide her with a fully working stove . In one month the furnace had to be relighted 3 times . None stop violence everyday. Guns going off daily after night fall. Then I was robbed in her apartment by tenants in the complex who lived there . She lefted I refuse to lose my other sister due to the violence out there that make no since , there is no security at all and it's not hard for people to break in because the windows are so weak . It doesn't take much for them to get kicked in please save your money and don't move in these units you will be sorry if you do.
Kei Kei: If it was possible I’d leave no stars at all. If you are considering moving here , DON’T !
Ericka: ROACH and rat infested! The pest control doesn’t help at all. There’s fights in the parking lot every single morning and evening. Extremely loud neighbors. I lived here for for about 9 months before I had to break my lease for my own safety. Firemen and police are called to these apartments almost weekly. Save your money and look elsewhere.
Elle Hollrah: Roaches & mice, frequent car break-ins, nobody delivers there because the delivery drivers have been robbed too often. FYI management pays tenants to write glowing reviews, so keep that in mind.
Antonio Jones: Rip off $40.00 App fee $150 admin fee $190 to possibly be denied believe me I know my son mother got denied over a couch being on her credit not to mention she has section 8 which the money is guaranteed. it’s non-refundable not even $1.00. If they do 3 in one day that’s $600 of easy money this is a money hungry company I see.
Sidra Iltaf: Staffs are very rude alots of roches mices I try to complain so many time but they never come on time a lot of crime 10 years old kids smoke outside
Michael Jones: 05months with covid they cancelled late fees with out informing the residents all of a sudden it's back in effect why was we not notified, this is not a gated community,a gated community requires controlled entrance in and out of the community, vehicles or person
T “YESit'sREAL” Bryant: My husband and I just moved in a couple days ago to try and save some money. The apartment is decent. The building however could use some tlc. Pepper is a delight to speak with and almost had me convinced that the issues in our apartment would actually be addressed. There were several that were supposed to be handled before move in which were not. My husband and I are not naive people and understand that you get what you pay for. I don't expect to have expedient service to the issues in my apartment when the common areas are left in disarray. You can't expect blood from a turnip or in this case luxury from these apartments.if you're concerned with bugs you can always take precautions like we did, fogging before moving in, weather proofing the door so that they don't come from someone else's apartment into yours and patch up the holes yourself. If you know and understand what your getting into these apartments are fine. You'll just have to put a little work in. It's for that reason I give 2 stars. A tenant shouldn't HAVE to do all that. But like momma said, " if you want something done right, do it yourself". *Update* moving out. All the diy in the world isn't gonna keep the mice out. They're in the walls and they come from behind the dishwasher and other places wherever they chew holes. We rarely saw bugs, as they do come and spray at scheduled intervals but the mice...THAT'S a problem. I don't care how much the rent is (which has gone up over $200) I'd rather pay more to live without them. Also someone was shot in front of the bldg. RIGHT in front. No one could leave to go to work. The wall are extremely thin you can hear everything. So basically buyer beware.
Teresa Maulding: The entrance and exit are a little difficult to locate, but that may be just to cut down on outside traffic so it's not necessarily a bad feature.
Lauren Mason: Disgusting!!! Back out while u can

One Light Luxury Apartments: what do users think?
bhavana purighalla: One Light has been an amazing home for the past two years! AD has been an amazing and wonderful life style coordinator and has always had great events. Some of my favorites so far have been the holiday party the derby day party and just the pool activities every weekend. Another great story from my time at one light was when I got sick and my friends helped me through the two months I was sick..they helped me through it and had a party for me when I was off meds! I love my one light family and I’m grateful for my one light family :)
Nikolina “Niko” Kosanovic: Love living here! Pool is amazing, staff is wonderful, maintenance fixes everything quickly. And AD is the best lifestyle coordinator I’ve ever had! So many breakfasts and cool events, we even had an orchestra and aerialists accompanied by champagne and desserts. Definitely recommend this place.
Patti Jefferson: 2 yrs now at One Light and I love it, it is top-notch! I wanted a place where I felt safe, had secure underground parking and the building was well kept, they haven’t disappointed. So ‘many’ amenities, my favorite the incredible roof top pool and the amazing views of the city! Leasing staff Nicole, Emina, Bailey & team are the best! They have assisted me on several spur of the moment requests, always professional and with a smile! Equally, the maint. staff, Shane, Chris, Danny & team are always prompt and responsive! The bldg.. always looks so nice & clean, kudos to housekeeping! AD our lifestyle coordinator is amazing, so friendly and helpful. We are so lucky to have every one of these professionals. They each play an integral role in making life at One Light so special. A great place to call home!!!
Randy: The maintenance group truly knows their work. Fast service, very knowledgeable, very analytical in solving my problem. In my case, the solution was not obvious. It took a lot of rationale thinking to drill down and determine the root cause. And they stuck with it discovering some hidden defects and resolved those issues as well. Excellent service and I was impressed! Nice work!Had a chance to experience this group again. They are excellent. Got to me right away and resolved the problem. Great team! These guys don’t walk, they run all day getting things done. What a great group!Always impressed with their work and commitment to getting repairs made quickly!
Lora Sparkman: The One Light associates are so kind and responsive. The maintenance team ( Chris and Danny) are the best! This place is truly Maintenance free living. Fabulous and a beautiful building in a great location. Living here has been a fantastic experience.
Brad Erich: We moved into One Light this past month and love it so far! We originally toured back in February, and signed our lease in March. We’ve worked with Danica mostly up through move in, and she has been excellent! It’s been so nice having a consistent contact throughout the whole process, and Danica has been timely, efficient and kind since we met her. We’re looking forward to getting fully settled in to One Light and downtown KC. From the amenities, to the staff, and the location, it really is a special place.
Juan Guerrero: I stopped in to One Light to get a tour. I toured with Emina. She was very knowledgeable about the property and was very polite she answered all my questions and was very helpful.
Chris Daley: My wife and I have been living our best lives here! The residents here are family. There is never a dull moment here. There are resident events which include music, bars, restaurants, game nights, pool movie nights, sip and paint, wine or tequila tasting, pool parties and a One Light Perks Card to get discounts at local stores. The Genesis gym is included for free. The market store is downstairs and can be acessed without goingoutside when weather is bad. There is a green roof park on top of the garage ,that our dog loves to play at. The maintenance team is amazing and our dog (Dobby) loves seeing them. The house keeping department keeps the place clean and beautiful. We have lived in downtown for about 5 years now. There is not anything like this place! Your only limitation is how social you want to be!
Harikumar V: Great service. Very helpful team that managed everything end to end.
beokc: We had read, in other reviews, that when we moved in someone would say, "You'll love it here"! That was exactly what happened and we do.The maintenance is first-rate, the housekeeping staff is fastidious, and the security/concierge personnel are perfection. They all do so much to make you feel safe and right at home. The time we've spent in other properties downtown feels like time wasted. Choose OneLight, or, another "Light". You won't regret it.
Brittany Moy: I am new to KC and today was a crazy thunderstorm and I was so worried about my 10 m/o puppy while I was at work, because she has never been in Wizard of the Oz weather like this before. My dog walker wasn’t coming until 11:15am, and I couldn’t find anyone else sooner, or to stay with my pup, so I reached out to Danica Gall who to leased me (a seamless transition btw) to see if she could recommend anyone, and she offered to go up herself and check on my baby!! She even took a video and sent it to me. So grateful. Thank you Danica and thank you One Light! I love it here.
Brooke Reynolds: Quick and easy!
Siegfred Tomeldan: I was part of the first wave that moved here at the end of 2015. The staff continues to be very helpful & professional. I still have yet to see another property in & around the downtown KCMO area that matches the amenities, pricing, & overall experience.
terrie giordano: Very pleased and impressed with everything there.
James Bunch: While i didn't get the results I was wanting, maintenance was very prompt and knowledgeable and gave me a way to solve the problem.
Bert Soto: Very quick response.
Sterling Kromas: OneLight KC has been one of my absolute favorite places to live. I just moved here in June and am very grateful for this place. The staff are amazing and attentive to any requests, the amenities are top tier (with possibly the best pool in downtown KCMO), and the location is perfect! With a grocery store on the first floor, complimentary access to Genesis Gym on the second floor, and the KC Street Car that services from union station to the Rivermarket... I don't drive during the weekend. The community here is wonderful, I have made new friends in a very short period of time. The complex has multiple events per month for the tenets of the building and makes it fun and inclusive for all.I face the west side of the city and have an amazing view. I have very minimal issue with noise, however, this may be different depending on the apartment view you have. There is 24/7 security/door service that monitors the entry areas.I have really enjoyed my time in OneLight and would recommend this complex to anyone.
Jon S.: 1st class downtown apartments, great staff, pool and gym are both top notch, floor to ceiling windows, outdoor balconies options, reserved parking spot, power and light location, near street car, attached to upscale consentinos grocery store, the best luxury apartment living in KC ---- maintenance staff is prompt, thorough, and highly skilled and experienced, Recently Danny from Maintenance was kind enough to probably fix the three things that I manage to clog as well as replace fixtures that I wore down, as a founding member/tenant at the One Light apartment building, I have lived here for seven years and love it!
TwinsMommy0718: We absolutely love our One Light home. The people are friendly, the building is immaculate and the views are fantastic. I highly recommend One Light to anyone looking for the perfect place to live in down town KC.
Paulina Hadley: Excellent maintenance service; Chris was very courteous, clean, and went above and beyond to resolve the issue with the water leak in a timely fashion. We are very happy to live here.
Prakash Ramanan: These guys are low-life crooks who spam people with their unwanted emails that do NOT have an "unsubscribe" option.I made the mistake of contacting them 4 years ago, and they email me frequently. It is a mass spam

Fitness center is huge with lots of equipment. Plaza deck is beautiful and has a outdoor kitchen, TV , seating , and a Bark Park. Very excited to be working here !
Kelsi Knoche: I just moved to West 39th Street Apartments and so far I love it! The staff is super sweet and is always quick to answer. There are so many great restaurants to eat at within walking distance. Also, it is a great place to live if you work/go to school at KU Med.
Anna Hegarty: Great finishes an updated style inside apartments. Perfect location if you are a student or work at KU Medical Center. I've had some issues with noises, but management has been amazing and helpful at resolving the problems.
Shannon Jeudevine: I'm going on my 4th year at West 39th St and I couldn't be happier! The entire staff is amazing and super friendly! They take care of any maintenance requests insanely fast. Many unique and diverse eating and shopping experiences are also within walking distance. Additionally, the apartment management provides excellent customer service and is always very responsive in resolving concerns.
Natalie Lang: Wonderful place to live with lots to do around it! Also great places to walk to around for fresh air! Great combination of city living in a quaint neighborhood!!
Jeremy Price: Studio units do not have a kitchen sink and there is no dishwasher in the units what in the hell kinda health code violation is that washing eating utensils in the bathtub or the bathroom sink! I am calling the health department next!!!!!

Summit on Quality Hill Apartments: what do users think?
Ryan Harrington: Way too expensive for the quality. Only good thing was the location if you enjoy downtown life, but still have great accessibility to outside areas.
Diane Jardine Bruce: It was so quick after I filed my service request that the technician was here in the apartment to fix my dryer. Professional, kind, and considerate! And it got fixed perfectly! Couldn't be happier
Collin Higley: Had previously left a one star review and it looks like they had it scrubbed. The only plus about living here is the I-35 access. The cons far outweigh that pro. I've lived here for over two years in two different buildings. 1st unit was great, moved for a better floor plan, and it's been a nightmare since. Shoddy materials and construction have led to flooding and getting barged in on naked in the bath tub by someone that can't communicate with the residents at all due to a language barrier. Led to being out of the unit several days for them to "fix" the issue multiple times that continued to leak into the hall. The security features are trash. Key fobs are junk, constantly have to replace batteries, and have had a new fob that still doesn't work as it should. Garages get broken into because they have no handle on their stuff. They threaten the residents about having video cameras everywhere which is false. Doors are easily ripped open by intruders. Doors don't lock when they should and then get broken completely shut. The gate that's supposed to be secure is hardly ever working, mostly just slams in the wind. Got unruly neighbors that management refuses to take any real action about. I can't recommend living somewhere else enough.
Elizabeth: Clint the maintenance technician is the best!
Michelle Clark: The service/maintenance staff is amazing and really fast and helpful. Kevin Larson came over within a couple hours after I requested service on the app and he fixed my disposal in less than five minutes! Game changer when your service requests are handled so quickly and people are so friendly and helpful!
Josh Boehm: I loved living here at Summit for 2.5 years. My apartment was very nice and spacious, management was diligent and considerate, and the facilities were always nice and kept up. I don’t have any complaints and would recommend it to anyone wanting a great downtown living experience!
Aaron Smith: I've lived here for 2 years. I have nothing but good things to say about the building and staff. Whenever problems arise, management is quick to react. Rent price is competitive with the market. Additionally, the amenities are excellent - an incredible new coffee maker was just added in the commons area.
Allyson Braggs: I love this community. I have had nothing but good experiences with the staff and the property. Whenever I have had any issues they are handled fast and properly. The office staff learn your name and smile and really try to get to know you personally. They have also handled COVID well. Masks are required of course, they keep everything super clean, and since everyone is ordering online all the time the lockers have been upgraded - so I never have to worry about my packages. I even transferred apartments this year - and they made that process SUPER simple for me and they were so helpful. I am definitely staying here as long as I can.
Susie Lippert: We love the area but our floor smells horrific. The building mgmt has checked and said it is someone smoking but it has been going on for probably a year now and everything in my apartment smells. I don't have time to move right now but I will be moving as soon as I can.I dont think it is the managements fault and they have acknowledged the problem but I have never experienced this even in buildings that allow smoking.Make sure you walk the building and floor you will be living in before you sign a lease. .
joel barrett: We love living here. We're on our 3rd lease, so it's clear we really like living here. The property managers listen, care, and respond quickly and professionally to any issues or needs. The facilities are well-maintained and the amenities are fantastic. Summit on Quality Hill has been a great place for us to call home!
Emily Taylor: Josh was awesome! I was surprised how fast he responded to the service request. Very professional and very helpful!
Paige McLean: Thank you to the new amazing cleaning person. The common area hallways and entryways look great again. I can definitely tell a difference. Thank you!!!
Erika Klotz: My business partner, Scott, lived here. Honestly, the reason for the star review is the management. The quality started out great, but then went downhill. They charged him all sorts of bogus fees upon move out when he is one of the cleanest tenants, always on time with payments, and never had noise complaints.Everything else with the complex is good, but when it comes to treating tenants like people, don't expect it from this group. And to me, liking your management is a serious consideration.
Paul Cannon: The staff here is amazing! They are professional and very friendly. Today I had talked with one of the great staff about a question regarding my lease. She was very kind and knowledgeable. Thank you so much for all you guys do!
Brandon Love: Apartment floods? Well tough luck. Horrible staffing situation, management needs to be gutted and replaced ASAP.Edit: they removed all reviews on FB when I left mine, what multi million dollar company does that?
Corey Halderman: I lived at this complex for 2 years. I moved in May 15, 2017 and was told the pool would be open by Memorial Day. The pool did open until Labor Day that year. I still enjoyed my time the first year despite the pool not being open the entire summer. I moved apartments within the complex my second year. I lived in building 5 on the top floor and got experience a sprinkler line bursting in the middle of winter that flooded half the building. A contractor told me it would likely happen again next year. When I told the leasing office I was moving out the agent got snotty with me and they stopped helping me. One example is my key to my apartment and garage didn’t work for a couple days and I had to go to the leasing office multiple times to correct it before it was finally fixed. I moved out and only got $17 out of my deposit of $550 because they had to replace the carpet and clean the apartment. I left the apartment in near spotless condition and even vacuumed the carpet in the bedroom which cost $362 to replace. Keep in mind I was the original resident in this apartment. I would highly advise if you’re going to spend this kind of money to look elsewhere. Unfortunately, this is by far one of the worst renting experiences I’ve ever had.
Natalie Holden: I love my spacious and beautiful apartment! The patios are wonderful and I am looking forward to enjoying the pool this summer. Management and maintenance are extremely helpful and friendly—Bryan and Blake always respond to address any questions or issues very quickly!
Traci Meeds: Here's a little background ... I have been a home owner for almost 25 years. Last year, I decided to scale back and rent an apartment. I looked at so many apartments. I had quite a list of 'requirements' that had to be met. Summit on Quality Hill not only met all my requirements, but exceeded them! Bryan helped me with my lease and he has been my 'go to' person ever since, answering even some of my silliest questions about apartment renting. Not only are the front office staff fabulous to work with, but our maintenance crew (especially Josh!) is amazing! They work tirelessly to maintain the complex (this was a brutal year for them with this winter's snowfall, but sidewalks and parking lots were always cleared). This is truly a nice little community within the heart of the city. The office hosts fun events [usually something every month], like wine tasting, pool parties, dog park happy hour, etc. If the dog park isn't your cup of tea, just wait a month and attend the next event! And if I don't know anyone at an event, I can always count on Bryan to be there! If you're a renter, don't miss this great community!
Madison Shae: Summit on Quality Hill is amazing! The staff is even better. Bryan has made the signing process so easy and smooth. I would recommend him to anyone if you are looking at Summit! He definitely needs to be the new manager :)
Lisa Keller: I’ve lived at Summit for a little over 1.5 years now, and I’m heartbroken to say I have to leave (work is transferring me out of town)! This location is incredible, and I’ve walked to work every day since I’ve moved here. It’s also within walking distance to the Power & Light District, or a quick drive (or Uber) to Westport or the Plaza. Maintenance is always quick to fix any issues I’ve had, and the amenities are great for the price. I’ve always felt safe walking around the area, too. The leasing office staff know me by name and are always so helpful! Honestly, the worst part about living here is trying to find something even remotely comparable in my new city. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a new place in Kansas City!
Will Munny: No parking people always are illegally parked in the street Any day or night I drive past.

SKY on Main Luxury Apartments: what do users think?
michael schwarz: Great downtown space. Modern. Secure. Roof top is awesome. Game room, kitchen, meeting place is so convenient. One item to mention that I wish has known. There is no means to roll a luggage cart from the parking garage to the main elevators. There are 2 sets of stairs that do not have ramps. If you are planning on wheeling belongings to your room from the parking garage you'll have to hand carry them up the stairs.
Teo Munteanu: My girlfriend and I had a scheduled tour here this afternoon and we were absolutely blown away by the beautiful units / amenities, and low prices here! Tonia, the leasing agent who was kind enough to show us around the property, was extremely professional and courteous - she took the absolute best care of us and we are extremely thankful for her! 11/10 would recommend these units to anyone!
Carmen Palmer: Sky on Main definitely goes above and beyond in any area for their residents!! From the moment we walk into our condo it just takes our breath away. All the staff from Heather to all the security guards truly make you feel welcome and are extremely helpful with anything you need. We just love greeting each one of the guards when we walk in!! This is the place to be if you’re looking downtown!! Hands down the best!!!
Denise Phillips-Fieker: Our luxury Airbnb is quite a treat. Great location and convenient too. Beautiful views and great restaurants within the entertainment district. 👌
Janson Lenie: Very happy with every aspect of sky on main. I’ve lived in three different apartments in the last three years and this one is the best one by far and less expensive than the other two. I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a new home. Heather made it a very easy process.
Tony Wayne: Great downtown location..rooms were attractive
Chef Inky: great place to live the staff is great got me in quick so helpful. i have very bad credit but staff worked around that and got me a new place to stay best apartments downtown
Rose: Absolutely love living here!!! I can honestly say I have zero complaints and have not had any issues. Management is wonderful, maintenance is literally the best, the 24/7 security guards are the nicest guys in the world, no issues parking, never hear my neighbors, energy bill is a flat rate and included in your rent (you really can’t beat this), apartment is perfect and has so much natural light, and it‘s truly prime location in downtown KC. If you’re considering moving in, DO IT.
Avan Ward: First, id like to give thanks to all the staff members for being there with any support day and night! Great attitudes and always with a smile on their faces which invites positive energy! Maintenance team is great as well and work in a very fast and efficient manner. I love my new home!
Joseph Leggio: I have been here for almost a month now and absolutely LOVE it! The staff and security are all amazing and make you feel amazing every time you enter the building! Connie was top notch at getting me the BEST apartment I’ve ever been in! Amy has gone above and beyond to make my experience here the best it can possibly be! I would recommend Sky on Main to anyone who wants to live in the heart of downtown Kansas City with some of the best views this city can offer!
Jack Conway: I moved to KC a couple months ago, and I'm really glad I chose to live in Sky on Main! The location is great, right next to a streetcar stop and CVS, and walking distance from restaurants in River Market, bars in Power and Light, and nice cafés. There is even a great café (Bloom Baking Company) in the building lobby! My unit faces West and gets really beautiful sunsets. The unit itself is really nice, with high ceilings and a well-designed layout. Connie and Amy have been great, making the move-in process easy and organizing fun events for the building. I can't recommend it enough!
Paul Secor Morel: We have just moved into Sky on Main, and our experience here so far has been very high-level (literally and figuratively!) Connie made herself so available and was so quick to thoroughly answer questions during the leasing process, during move-in, and after. Both Connie and Amy have checked in regularly to make sure everything is going smoothly for us, and maintenance has been quick and thorough for all the little tweaks we have requested (like adjusting the water heater because we love hot baths and showers). The leasing and move in process can be so tedious, and they have made it so easy. The security guards are 24 hours, and are so friendly and helpful as well. So far we're thrilled and we highly reccomend Sky on Main for both the beauty of our living space as well as the top-notch service!
Nathan Sands: To be clear: I currently live here - just providing a few facts that may be helpful.I will begin by saying the leasing staff/security are all wonderful people and this rating is not a reflection of them. There are a few issues I have experienced over the past year of living here.1) AMENITIESThe amenities here are sub-par. The "rooftop patio" is simply located on top of the parking garage, not the actual apartment. The view is decent, but it is nothing crazy. Also, the basketball court is a cool feature in the gym, but it CANNOT be used during the week between hours of 8AM and 5PM. Lastly, there is no pool, which is sad during the hot summer days of Missouri.2) ELEVATOR/GARAGE ISSUESOver the year, there have been several issues with the elevators going out of service in both the main lobby and garage lobby. Currently, the garage elevators have been out of service for two weeks, and we were informed they will not be repaired for a few months - with zero compensation in rent payment. The garage door in the parking garage has also had issues several times throughout the year.2) SECURITYThere is 24-hour security, but it lacks consistency. Often, the gaurds are away from the lobby desk and not answering the security phone number when you need them. Earlier this year, there was an armed shooter who entered the property and residents were not informed by management until long overdue.3) DOGSThe apartment claims to be dog friendly, but upon getting a dog, I soon realized the policies in place are not dog friendly. Dog owners are required to use one frieght elevator and the secondary entrance (not the lobby) to take dogs outside. This makes the walk to take the pup to the bathroom even further, and usually results in a longer wait for elevator use. When it is raining, it is quite annoying being confined to the loading dock entrance with a dog (far less convenient). Also, dogs are NOT allowed in any of the amenity spaces, including the outdoor patio/rooftop area. So, if you own a dog, it will not be allowed to be with you if you intend to enjoy the amenities. When recently comparing Sky on Main to other apartments near downtown (visiting/touring), I feel there are more suitable, affordable options. The apartment units here are extremely nice, but the amenities, pet policy, and security lack in comparison to other apartments in a similar price range.
Maegen B: I moved in two months ago and I am in love with this place! The ladies in the office are so helpful and security takes care of any issue or concern. The two things I love most: 1. If there are issues, they find an immediate solution 2. Bloom (the bakery on 2nd floor) gives out a free coffee to residents each day! Move here!!!!
phillybirdy: I recently moved in a month ago and I am completely in love with my apartment and the people here ! The ladies in the office are great and security has been extremely helpful with getting me adapted to my new downtown life. Don’t sell yourself short, you only live once you should come live here❤️
David Robinson: Ironically I lived downtown 2011-2015 and worked in Lee's Summit on the Missouri side and then Overland Park on the Kansas side. I moved out of downtown to Independence and then South KCMO and got a job downtown!!After 3yr of making the commute in, I decided to finally to live where I work!!!It was a great and logical choice. The building is great with all the amenities And everything is near, grocery shopping, bars (best wings in KC), restaurants and the river market.Great place to be at this moment in Kansas City!
Vilinkumar Bhakta: Sky on Main was the right choice I made! The apartment was exactly the same as I was shown and it has one of the best view in downtown! The staff there is very helpful and they made my leasing and move in process very easy and smooth! My favorite part about the building is the basketball halfcourt!
Cydney Edwards: I absolutely LOVE living here. From the 24 hour security, the price point for staying downtown, the amazing views, and fabulous leasing staff. I could not be more pleased with my stay. I have had zero issues with parking as some other reviews have stated. Still in downtown, but on the more “quiet” side. So worth checking out, and leasing!
Sam Riffle: All staff has been very kind and helpful with any questions, the building is very clean and accommodates residents very well.
Alexandra Merryfield: To say we love our apartment is an understatement. Our unit is beautiful with big windows and awesome views of the city. All the facilities available in the building are great, and maintenance and management both respond timely to any question or need I’ve had in next to no time at all. After having a really bad experience at our last apartment, it’s refreshing being somewhere where everyone is always friendly, honest, and happy to help. 5 stars and I’d recommend these apartments to anyone!
DJ Quanchi: Outstanding!

Brookside 51: what do users think?
Crystal Derickson: Staff has been very helpful especially the manager Bridget Reischl. Love the resident events and we plan on renewing for another year.
Tatiana G: Cool area to live in, definitely like being so close to the city. other residents seem to be chill and the office is always helpful. would totally recommend if you're wanting high-end, easy living
D R: Lived here for years highly recommended !
Grayson Y: Such a great place! The office staff is so kind and helpful at all times. You really can’t beat the location, neighbors are all nice and the finishes in the apartments are gorgeous! 10/10 recommend!
Taylor: I have been living at Brookside 51 for just over a year now - I renewed my lease because of the great location and quality of apartments. Management has also been pretty helpful whenever I've needed assistance. All my neighbors are friendly and not problematic. I also enjoy the convenience of whole foods beneath us. I would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to live in the Brookside area!
Traci Morris: When I first moved in things were great. Staff was supportive. Wonderful location. My opinion is quickly changing. After 8 months it seems the honeymoon is over.I moved from one unit to a different unit in the building. Enjoying the quiet in the new unit after having lived over the gym and hearing weights drop under me 24/7. At the move out walk through I was told everything was fine. No charges. I’d get my full refund. I received the refund. All was well until a few days later when one of the staff members randomly called to say that they now were going to add charges to my account for items that they said were “found” later. After no reply to emails to the staff member who left the message, I called the manager to find out what’s going on . She wasn’t aware. I didn’t misconstrue, I still have the voice message saying I’d be charged for a list of ambiguous items and to expect to see them on my next bill. Manager said not to worry. I ended up not being charged, but this went on well over a week with no one responding to me before I got the manager with me wondering what I would be charged and what I’d been accused of. At least this was finally resolved. I’d had a clean walk and refund issued. Why after the fact was I being told I’d be charged? I’ll chalk this up to an inexperienced staff member, but the lack of communication and response to messages to try and get it resolved caused me to become less happy with things as time went on. Didn’t have to be.Nowww we get to fire alarms. This is bad because it’s a safety concern. When an alarm goes off in the building the fire department is called, investigates, and clears the building to assure all is fine. A staff member of the complex must turn the alarm off. This doesn’t seem to happen quickly. Today the alarm went off for about 4 hours until a staff member finally turned it off. The KCFD had cleared the building within the first hour or less. After the first hour I tried to reach the after hours staff line for help. No response from the staff, so I called the KCFD and they confirmed they couldn’t turn off the alarm. Has to be staff. This went on for 4 hours. Just when the residents thought we were good, the alarms started going off again every so often for about 5 minutes at a time. They’d stop, then go off again. There are elderly people in the building and some disabled. When we don’t know if it’s a valid alarm or false some residents now opt to ignore the alarms. This is a clear safety issue. If it ends up to be real I guarantee some won’t now leave because this isn’t the first time this has happened. Those of us with animals vacate because each unit has a very loud alarm with flashing lights that make the animals scared and react. Today I was in my car for hours with the animals trying to get anyone from the staff to respond to requests to come and fix the issue. Was wondering if I’d need a hotel for the night.Alarms finally stopped late tonight having started at 3:15. Staff is very unresponsive in these situations especially if it’s after hours or on weekends even though someone is supposed to be on call. Not the first time this has happened.Other residents are warning that at move out the staff will “find” things wrong in order to charge and keep deposits. From my experiences, I’m starting to believe it.Growing tired of situations that could be easily resolved instead of ignoring residents. It’s causing many of us to be irritated and not feel safe and secure with the alarm issues. All this would take would be staff who responds and has a desire to rectify situations that are easily fixed instead of ignoring tenants for hours or days.Wasn’t going to leave a bad review, but after the fire alarm incident, changed my mind. This needs to improve for our safety.Update: mgmt responded to the tenants, 48 hours after the alarms situation. First time. Memo started,”as you may be aware…” How could we not be aware? The noise was deafening for over 4 hours. They relayed KCFD attempted to turn it off. But, KCFD a told me directly they don’t do this. It’s up to mgmt.
Juan Aznaran: How many motorcycles and cars do you get stolen from this place on average?
Terracar: I have been in and out of Brookside 51 for 10 months now, i dogsit for a friend who lives here but even though the staff all know me every single time I park in or around the building I get a tow notice even after I changed vehicles they tracked it and will not stop harassing me, the tenant I work through has gone into the office and shown pictures of my vehicle and the parking spot he gave me and they still will tow the vehicle after more than a day has passed, I get constant dirty looks from the security staff when shopping and the building is not kept up well, multiple outlets in the apartment don't work, the craftsmanship is subpar, fit and finish is ok at best and there is often something broken in the building, there was even a time in January 2023 when a blackout hit the building but they didn't use the backup generators! For three hours there was no power meanwhile I could look out the window and look at the generators that weren't being used, every other building in the area had power during the blackout except brookside 51. Overall they charge an arm and a leg to live here and they clearly don't put that money back into the building or the management I couldn't recommend living here as even just visiting is a pain
Eric Briscoe: Wouldn’t recommend, in addition to management being extremely rude to me, they assign random unexplained charges to my account and falsely advertise many aspects of the community. Avoid unless you really want to be close to a grocery store, the landlord/management here love to power trip over their residents. Also there are some extremely violent dogs living here that management has done nothing about for several months, in spite of me promptly contacting them with details after the first mauling (to my knowledge) took place outside Whole Foods.
Mallory McElroy: Everything is always maintained so well. The community inside the building as well as outside is so welcoming and comforting! The convenience to everything I need is just an added bonus!
Dinson Do: Upon moving in everything seemed fine, until you start to notice that there’s just so many things wrong with the place. I haven’t moved in for a while but there’s just so many problems that should’ve been checked on and solved before someone moves in. For instance theres a crack in the wall, carpet coming off from the corner of the wall/under, smelly sink or toilet that’s super bad, dish washer being clogged, thermostat as well as dwells security being broken, electrical outlets not working, stains, and many more. All of this stuff should’ve been managed beforehand. They don’t let you keep the damage form to note all of this but many things sure need to be updated on the form. I’ve been trying to knock out some of these things but as a busy person all of this should’ve been fixed before I moved in and is just a hassle.
Catherine Serwatka: This apartment complex gets 1 star because of the location- it’s great, but that’s where the praise ends. When you first move in, they don’t let you keep the inventory and condition form so they can charge you ticky tacky things when you move out. They ask you to go around and look at the state of the apartment when you first move in, while they are standing there with you, and say they will mark the things you notice (they don’t) and it’s a pretty awkward and uncomfortable experience. Not only that, moving out was a NIGHTMARE. Linda was the most rude, unprofessional person I have ever come across in a hospitality type field. She blatantly told me she wouldn’t help me move out, and only when I went to a different managerial staff did she comply. I have never had such an awful and rude experience with any apartment community. She claimed I sent my email to reserve the freight elevator to the wrong address (I didn’t) and was self-righteous the whole time saying there was no way she missed my email and it was my fault. She double booked me with another resident who was moving in and proceeded to chastise me for parking the Uhaul in the loading dock (mind you, there was nowhere else to park as the apartments are above a Whole Foods with a clearance limit.) I received $20 left of my deposit, how generous of them, for things which were already needed to be replaced before I was a resident. Again, the location is great but the staff leaves much to be desired, and I will be thinking about how rude Linda was for many months to come which soured my entire experience with the apartment. Rent at your own risk for overpriced “luxury”.
Olivia Chiu: I enjoy living at brookside 51. As a student at UMKC, I can walk to school across the street. I also enjoy shopping downstairs at whole foods market which is a plus living here. Staffs here are friendly and responsive. I will definitely recommend this place!
Janie Vranicar-Lewis: My husband and I moved into Brookside51 in late May, 2022. There was a new office staff team on board who were very welcoming and helpful during our move-in. Katie, Jae, and Linda have continued to be responsive to any questions and concerns we have had and have made our experience very positive thus far. The issues with the valet garbage service were addressed and service has been much better since July; the often-inoperable parking entrance/exit gates issue seems to have been fully resolved as well and we credit the team's efforts in staying on it until it was done. The monthly resident gatherings are wonderful! It has given us a chance to meet other residents and mingle over good food and drink and we love the effort the staff makes to host these events. We are happy to be living here in this building in such a vibrant area of KC!
Sydne DiGiacomo: We've lived here since October 2021 and can say that overall the experience has been positive. The parking garage is cramped which can be a hassle. The garbage compactor was down for several weeks if not over a month and I don't too much care for the fact that garbage bins are sitting outside of each unit for valet pickup (it smells up the hallway and doesnt look very appealing if you're having guests over). The units are spacious and the amenities are comprehensive. I love our balcony and our view. The front desk staff (Linda!) is very friendly and maintenance is SUPER responsive to any repairs needed. Early on, I noticed that maintenance would come into your apartment for repairs even when I specifically requested a phone call to set up appointment, but that has changed and now we get notice before entry. Rent and utilities are easy to pay to online.
Chris Busch: Any issues I have had were addressed by the team and maintenance, always quick and in a professional manner. The team has always been kind and helpful; however, living here has its problems. There is hardly any water pressure, peoples cars getting broken into in guest parking, and there is always construction going on so you can never sleep in past 7:30am. Whether it is Whole Foods food delivery trucks or the never ending construction, or events taken up the street, it is difficult to sleep in on days off.
Serena Jade: I lived here for 2 years. Living close to UMKC, Whole Foods, and the plaza is great. Fire alarms went off a few times but not enough to be a huge issue. Yes there was construction for months but I wasn’t so bothered by it. However, as time progressed the price quickly became lessand less justified by the level of unprofessionalism, mistakes, and maintenanceissues. They switched management companies 1 time but there seems to be a high turnover for office and maintenance staff. When I renewed my lease the first time, I was sent an offer and I accepted. As time passed, I never heard anything and so I went to the office and asked when can I sign my new lease. One of the assistant managers or leasing managers said that I never accepted the offer (I had email receipts and confirmation that I did and it was an overlook on their side) I was told they would “honor it this time” ???? The door to the garage was broken many times (see photos) and so using an alternative door was required or simply left unlocked for months and no key fob was needed. If you move in PLEASE never live by a trash chute room because the hallway will smell. It’s jammed on average once a week and neighbors aren’t considerate. They will continue to pile trash in the room even though they could take it downstairs to the loading dock area and throw it away.
Kevin Chang: Have lived here around a year. Really enjoyed the convenience of Whole Food Market downstairs. Management is responsive and friendly to interact with. Will definitely recommend this place!
Anna Hatfield: Terrible experience. Management handled the situation horribly. And now they have begun deleting reviews..
Jennifer Benedict: They told me that they cater for people who work 9-5 jobs. Should have mentioned that a long time ago!
Michelle Cowles: Absolutely great!!!
