We called corporate and they tried to find the owner.We are now having to rent from a other company. Don’t waste your time with Budget. Horrible service!

Ashley Watson: Reserved a cargo van for 6 hrs to travel 50 miles at max. Was only auppose to be charged around 100 dollars. They sent me an invoice saying I drove 153 miles instead of my 43 miles. Which is over 200 dollars. Refuses to give me my money and says they can't do anything about it. They switched the milage on the paper. So frustrating and such a scam. Worst place to rent a from.
Jon Coleman: We rented a Budget truck and where charged 150 for deposit which we got back. Then we were supposed to get charged $48.45 for the mileage of 25 miles at 59cents per mile plus a $29.95 for the truck. We were charged $123.45. Which is $75 over charged.

Rented a moving truck to move my daughter from Olathe, KS to Austin TX.2, Got a confirmation of my Rental; Confirmed on Nov. 25, 2019. Pick up time was November 27 at 3:00 p.m.3. On the day of the move, November 27 at 10:00 a.m., while on my way to pick the truck, i got an email from Budget Truck Rental that my rental had been cancelled; without any explanation.4. I called Budget Truck Rental and they promised to avail another truck by 5:00 p.m. This never happened. Subsequent calls to them were never picked up or acknowledged.5. With Thanksgiving Day being the next day, and my daughter all set to move (she was starting her new job the following Monday) I had to scramble and get another moving truck at a much higher cost to myself; not counting the lost time in our moving schedule.

Samantha Tucker: Update: After contacting the company about the poor customer service, they apologized and refunded a portion of the cost.Reserved a truck online 24 hours in advance and received a confirmation number. Went to pick up said truck, and the reserved truck is no where to be found. Employee claims this issue of "unavailable" trucks happen all the time due to their website and I got stuck with a smaller truck, and paid more for less space.

Benjamin Wiebeck: We reserved our truck the night before and the price was sooooo much better than Uhaul for a nearly identical truck. The truck we'd expected wasn't available since the folks who reserved it for the morning hadn't come in to pick it up yet but the slightly smaller truck that was available worked perfectly. The guy working the desk was very polite and took off the hand truck fee as an apology for the truck switch. I guess someone working over the weekend had put something in the computer incorrectly. Regardless, they made our stressful moving day a little less stressful and for a great a price. I would definitely recommended these guys to anyone looking for a moving truck.

I use commercially and personally and made the mistake of utilizing UHAUL. Never, never, never again... out of oil, no antifreeze, broke down 3rd time with blew heater hose. Would not come fix and left my driver stranded. Corporate authorized holding my belongings in an undisclosed location for over 3 weeks. Rant over. NEVER USE UHAUL. CITY RENT A TRUCK IS THE BEST!!!

When I got there, they said their “cargo van” was their small box truck (which is different rate and a different style of vehicle). Then when I proceeded further, he told me and another person in line that I could only rent the box truck until the end of the day. What a joke! Thanks a lot for wasting 2 hours of my day.

Thomas Pacheco: This is my favorite UHaul facility. I went in with my elderly dad who can be very difficult at times. The staff was very patient with him. By the time my dad finished, he was laughing and joking with the two young men who helped us. I wish I would have asked for their names. It might be on the invoice. They were amazing. Thank you guys!

Steven S: Well the customer service to line up and pay for a cargo van was great.**rented cargo van to go from this store to Grand Junction Co. Which requires going thru the mountains. We like to travel at night because obviously there is less traffic. We'll we were good until we hit the mountains. The van was running great,the temp outside was down to 34 degrees and there was a steady breeze running through the floor area. Well I tried to turn the heater on and nothing..nothing at all as far as heat goes...lots of cold air. It was horrible. No defrost man let me tell you it was very unsafe and scarey. I had to drive through the mountain passes for 6 hours with no heat. My wife started shaking very badly and uncontrollably. I was so cold i couldnt feel my toes .I stopped at 4 different stores that were hard to find. But was able to get our hands on some pocket warmers. We bought what they had and stuffed them everywhere you can think off and made it home at 4am when we left Kansas at 10am. It was a ride we will never forget thank you UHAUL. Still waiting to hear from someone about this.Iam actually wondering if anyone will take responsibility for this or at least apologize with a good explanation. Happy uhauling!Just got off the phone. When costumer service is almost non existent anymore, the gentleman that took care of me was extremely professional, nice and fast. Thanks for a great experience. Jeremy Orth: Poor customer service, poor communication. A "supervisor" called me on the 18th to verify my reservation and explain I may have to drive to another town close by to get the uhaul, I sd that was ok, as long as it wasn't too far. He started naming small towns around me about 30 miles away in all directions, I sd that's fine. When they called the day before our move, they tell me i need to drive 2 hrs away to get the uahul. Absolutely poor communication. And flat out lied. The lady who called the day before our reservation was a poor excuse of a customer service representative. Tried telling me that's not what her "supervisor " sd on the 18th. Told her to pull the recordings and verify it. Of course she wouldn't, then threatened to cancel my order cause I sd the word "damn". What a joke of a company there in KC.
Lubomir -: No help with fixing their truck whatsoever
Darrell Fladager: Purchased and booked install of receiver hitch at this location March 16. Was called morning of install March 22 that hitch did not arrive. Rebooked for install 27th but hitch still not in. Cant reach them to find out why as they hide behind corporate call center. They don't call back. They must figure once they have your money they can hold you and your money hostage. Had to cancel via call center. I would not do business with this location. Found a local company that listened to the above, and will install this Wed.
Alina: I don't know why I was charged an additional $17 three days later, when I had to pay $90 prior to that. I thought after thye checked the car and gave me my final bill that was it. Tried calling them and no one answered.
finly wizer: Lots of associates just standing around glaring at me while I looked for the right size box, finally l came to the counter and asked for help,a young tall man briskly went to a row of boxes said this is it and walked away, it wasn't, l grabbed the right one came back to the counter where l was shuffled down to another window so he could help with someone who came in after me, with anything and everything! No short supply of yes ma'am , what else can l do for you etc! I remained composed, only difference in me and the other customer was our color.

Charles Cornelius: Recently rented a UHAUL and my initial pickup location was this UHAUL dealer. I called to ask questions and the lady was unfriendly and confrontational. I was just calling with questions about the process. It is no wonder why this UHUAL dealer receives poor ratings.

The app that was being used or that is required for check in didn't work. Alot to do if checking it back in. Otherwise the experience and customer service was great!

Amie Panethiere: The code given to me to pick up the truck keys was incorrect so I was unable to use the truck. I tried calling the 24hr contact, left a voicemail and he never returned my call. I called Uhaul customer service to get a refund, they confirmed the charge would be reversed but it did not happen. Submitted an online support request and the owner of the location emailed me saying he would look into this. He never got back with me. I would not trust the competency of this location.
Randall Johnson: I was overcharged for mileage,almost 100 more additional miles than what I actually drove.Thankfully I took a picture of the mileage when I dropped the truck back off to the location,which I'm sure they didn't count on me doing.In my eyes this is considered to be a form of theft.Without the picture ,that I took the time to take on my own,my hard earned money gets stolen from me without consent.I feel sorry for any innocent person that is struggling from paycheck to paycheck and is unaware of how companies like this are willing to disguise their thievery as a mistake and dont know that it is very necessary to cover yourself when doing business with these kind of crooks.
