Mama Ramen: what do users think?
Tyler Bendis: Just got back from Japan and I'm from California, so my standards are now very high haha. Happy to say it was amazing! Of course it's hard to compare to the real deal but it satisfied my ramen craving and was really good, so no complaints here!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Shane Lauritzen: Fantastic Ramen and great service. I would rate taste at 5 stars, the upcharge for extra ingredients was the only thing preventing an overall 5.
K Chung: Nice broth, good meat and eggI’m a world traveler, visit different cities every week, follow my journey IG postcardsfromkevin

David Gojira: Not used to creating my own ramen, but was able to get mine right. Sugou and oishi. The fried rice was spot on in flavor. The karaage chicken was different. Felt like process chicken nuggets, but tasted fine. All in all I recommend this joint, delicious food. The inside is clean and felt like a typical ramen place in Japan. It’s a Go and Eat recommend.
CAT: Soooooo good with fast service!!! If you’re a fan of creating your own ramen bowl then this place is for you. Parking can be a challenge to find, but it’s totally worth it!Recommended dishes Crab Rangoon, Create Your Own Ramen Bowl …More
Travis Harrant: This is a must go to restaurant. The food was amazing! The service was straight to the point (you pick what you want in the bowl) and quick. The pork dumplings were good, but I don’t think they were homemade.
Aubrie Maurine: the servers were very nice here and most of the food was really good!Dietary restrictions: they had lactose free drinksFood: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Edamame …More
Quang Nguyen: Fantastic tonkatsu ramen, scallion pancake, and brown sugar boba tea !!! The lady who runs it is also super sweet. I been to over 30 ramen restaurant and this easily is top 10.
Zulema Quiroz: I found a hair in my soup 👎
Carrie Porter: They have hella good foodBut super greedy w the sauce. I have no idea why.I came back from my to go order cause they didn’t even fill half of the container of sweet and sauce for my crab ragoons, I came back, considering there was less than a teaspoon of sauce, and they gave me back a container that wasn’t even halfway full. Like why?
Nicole Hall: Poor customer service. This was our first time visiting this place and the person at the desk didn’t offer to help, just waited around for us to figure it out. He was more concerned with his phone.
Kelsey Smart: Recommended dishes Create Your Own Ramen BowlMore
Octo K3: We were excited about trying a new ramen place up in Kansas City and came across Mama Ramen. It was a nice surprise to discover we get to build our own ramen here, along with a boba tea, if we chose. It didn't take long for our ramen to reach us and boy, was it great. The appetizer came out shortly afterwards and was just as amazing. Definitely a great place worth going back to in the future. Parking is limited, so find a spot, pay the meter, and come on in!
Payton Templeton: The crab rangoon was good but the ramen is what I “came” for. The meat looked beat up (not in a good way) & the dish smelled horrible… I mean, I mixed my noods with the broth and couldn’t continue after one bite horrible. I was really looking forward to ramen so maybe I’m biased but I was ~extra~ disappointed. I might consider trying this place in person but won’t ever order take out again.

Komatsu Ramen: what do users think?
Smile HD: I love this place, me and my friends go here all the time for a big delicious bowl of ramen. Their hours have certainly been obliterated by covid, but hopefully that will change eventually. Other than that, great place. Would recommend.Edit: Didn't make it in time for their last day. Will be missed.
Nikki: Greeted promptly and seated in a booth. Only weird part was a big wall beside us with a very small little box window at the top. My friend had her 1 year old and we had to ask for a height chair, get our own napkins and silverware when the food arrived. Table had a sticky residue that we had to wipe down. Now the food was amazing and made up for the other parts that were lack luster. For appetizers we had the Chicken Buns and it was hot and fresh. Buns were very soft and the miso aioli was full of flavor. For dinner I ordered the Asahi Ramen. Smoked brisket, ginger, corn, spinach, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots and egg. I was worried it wouldn't mix well together, however it mixed perfectly well. Full of spices, brisket was incredibly tender and the eggs were actually great. I was worried it would be like a jelly texture, however it was more hard boiled texture. We'll definitely be back!!!
Yi E. Lu: Never again! Can you imagine a restaurant’s bathroom has NO SOAP and NO paper towel? Table are sticky, food are terrible! I don’t wanna know how the food were prepared! Health department needs to re-inspect this place.
Steven Hendricks: Absolutely horrible experience. When we first came in, We stood at the entrance for 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged us or the other 6 couples waiting on the entrance. The staff were cussing and yelling back and forth at each other lacking all professionalism. I ordered a #22 Which is suppered to come with bean sprouts and bamboo sprouts. They brought my food, sat it down and it had no bean sprouts at all and about 4 small pieces of bamboo shoot. When the server came back I asked why there was no bean sprouts, the server responded “oh we are out”! Never told me that when I ordered and didn’t tell me when they gave me my food. The egg in the ramen tasted bad. They only had one server on staff as well. Will never be comping back. There are far better Ramen Restaurant Choices in Kansas City and Lawrence. Also when I went to the toilet and went to wash my hands the faucets literally lifted off the sink. Tried the next sink over and exact same thing, Faucet just lifted off the sink. There was no running water in either sink
Michael luce (Tine): Arrived at 5:15pm to all doors locked, no signs up and other guests inside eating. Tables not full.
Eric Chamberlain: Amazing food, wonderful staff
Chris Thurlow: Great atmosphere and attitude. Food is always on point, will be coming back for sure!!
Anthony Fredericks: Food was awesome and the staff was great!
A S: Don't waste your money just boil your own egg and put it in the broth of ramuin noodles. Not very expensive but not worth it appetizers too high
Toni: Dine in: Yes Delivery: NoMore
Philip Bushman: Super cozy and the Feng Shui is ON POINT! The food is dynamite, and further enhanced by the pleasant staff. Wish I was local😋
Keno Davidson: They appear to be closed despite Google saying they are open
yolanda m: This is usually my go to place for ramen. Many options to choose from and the brisket buns are a must try. I love that the booths feel pretty private. And overall a pretty chill atmosphere.
MaGarrett Kubach: Called and confirm time that was closing when got to the restaurant doors are locked and they were closed. If you guys are going to close at a different time, you might as well edit your website because that is not good for business. The ramen is good but services terrible. Not the first time that this has happened. Highly dissatisfied with this place. Do not recommend
Kevin Medina: Hours are not correct on here. Came here (4/30) at 8:00 and the doors are locked. All lights are on but no one is there. No one answered the phone either. No sign posted on the door. Weird
ISCEL A: Not the place if you are in a rush. Food was decent. Servers were pleasant. Large comfortable booths.Dine in: Yes …More

DeMarea D. Whitelyons: This once was my favorite restaurant for quite some time. I’ve ate just about everything on the menu twice with virtually no complaints and delicious meals every trip. Now it seems I can never dine in since their hours are now all over the place and seem to never be open when I try and swing by. Today is 03/27/22 and they appear to be closed when I drove pass however the website states 12am it’s 9pm. It’s been months without my Komatsu Ramen that I now make my own at home. I hope for the best but as of now I’m heartbroken.
Amie Barrodale: Not great.
Chance Palmer: Absolutely delicious, has a great feel. We arrived at an off time and they had a big party so I suspect my winter was distracted (party of 15 and us), so our young waiter was thrown off a bit. If you're looking for delicious Ramen and steam buns, pull the trigger

Shaylee B: I think they should not advertise open until 11pm on Fridays when the kitchen closes at 10. Lost the opportunity to eat at any Ramen shop tonight bc we drove here, arrived 1004 and were told kitchens closed. Too late to drive anywhere else. Really disappointing and they should consider changing google to reflect actual time.

There was very little, if any. Maybe they're just going with the flavor profile? Nice bartender, and great happy hour pricing tho.Professional cocktails!! Stellar job there.
