D B: I called to report suspicious activity at 2am. Someone was going in & out of a car. Then they sat in at 2am while it was below freezing outside. They were parked suspiciously in a car I had never noticed in my area. By 2:30am I was back on the phone with them because nobody arrived. They told me to contact someone else. Even though they routinely patrolled my area. They said they had too many other sites to patrol. I’m typing this at 2:35am. Still no patrol car.

Elizabeth Wing: Response time is no less than 1 hour. Same events of theft, loitering, teens jumping fences and hosting parties at community pools, etc. have continuously occurred for the past few years and will continue at properties secured by Homeland Security until the response time improves dramatically. Tenants vigilance to reduce crime & instance are wasted efforts without improvement and support for a service privately paid for. Dispatch has expressed on numerous occasions that “officers” patrol from south Kansas to north Missouri impairing adequate responses and almost no presence in the area. Disappointing, frustrating, and seemingly incautious.

Training is completely inadequate for what you need to know to the point your life can be put in danger when you're actually in the field. I wasn't about to put my life at risk for 13 dollars an hour. They constantly made mistakes with my paychecks which is unacceptable.When I switched to a different post, they lowered my pay from $13 per hour to $10.30 per hour without telling me! DON'T WORK HERE!
Daveed Donghee Kim: I own units in a condominium building that this firm is in contract with for patrol. We have 4 parking spots in the property, two uncovered, and two covered. Because of the severe thunderstorm, I had my wife’s car parked in front of the covered parking spots. It did NOT block any other cars from getting around. We even left a note saying that the cars blocked in are our property, and that this was temporary. A few hours after she parked her car, the storm calmed down, and we went down to move it back to the garage above ground. They put a sticker that took hours to remove on the car window. The security guard probably didn’t even bother to read the note left.

Chris Brown: This company has high technology equipment, uniforms, and patrol cars. Each patrol car is equipped with high tech law enforcement accessories. The paychecks are always, good, and on time. However they do not pay you enough for the risk that comes with this job. You are literally out there in the projects, public housing, low income housing communities, and bad neighborhoods. You respond to the same type of calls that KCPD responds to such as drug, domestic violence, suspicious vehicles, burglary, etc. You're doing all of this and only make $9.00 to $10.00 an hour. If you're a stationary officer then yes i can see you making $9/$10 an hour. But if you are a Patrol Officer, you should get started out at at least $13.00 an hour.
Adam Porter: So. It's a security guard company that placards thier vehicles to look like an official government entity. This is borderline impersonating federal officials. I would suggest a disclaimer on your vehicles so no one gets the wrong idea of who you guys are.

Daneshia Morgan: This is by far the worst doctor I’ve ever been to. He has not a care in the world about how he makes his patients feel! I’m sure he’s not making no pape for the simple fact he does not finish his job so no one will return! He’s clearly a last resort doctor if no one else is available. Chair side manners 0/10, empathy 0/10, the Dr. 0/10 I do NOT recommend. If you’re ever referred please RUN and find elsewhere because he is NOT it!

Danny Robinson: My first location was menorah medical center was there for a few months then I had applied for a supervisor position. The site supervisor made a comment to the other guards that I can leave when he says I can. I mentioned this to the operations manager and he got me to the other location. Worked at new location for a few weeks then I received a text from operations manager saying I’m not going back there bring uniforms and access cards I have been requested to be removed by the client. It took me a week to get started at my third site after I got my guard card and asked the operations manager if there was any compensation for the time I didn’t work and he said no I told him I was the only one working in my house and he didn’t care this company does not care about the guards. They are only in it for their wallets and I didn’t even get the pay I was promised for the third site. Worse company ever
Chris Brown: This was my first job right after I graduated college. I worked here as a "Custom Protection Officer." G4S put me through a 40 hour training course, and sent me to my accounts. I worked Great American Bank, Cosentinos (Brookside), and Triland Strip Mall. They eventually lost their account with Triland, so they made me a Bank Security Officer at the Bank of Americas on those days I was supposed to work at Triland. I really enjoyed all of my post that I worked. Being that I was fresh out of college, the pay wasn't too bad.

Patrick Tedesco: I was hired to work for Cerner Security and when they sold the company the new owners, Oracle, contracted out the security to Securitas. I had previously only heard stories of how Securitas was the biggest joke in the security world but after spending several months working for this company I can confirm these stories to all be true. There is a good reason the reviews on this company are barely a 3 which seems a bit high honestly. No paid time off to speak of (1 week a year and that includes vacation and sick days), horrible management and upper management, No integrity on hiring and promotion! If you are seriously considering applying for a security position and are serious about the profession and want to learn how to be good at it do not waste your time applying at this company!
Gilbert Padilla and Loves: They use the same intrusive management cliches by assuming you quit and just telling you anything to keep you incoherent and not covering your back, not treating you like a human being. The supervisors, including HR, are treasonous and weak. There is no backbone only to hire and ignore the huge turnover rate.FedEx is the worst place to do security for but Securitas supervisors will play it down as a game or a joke. Despicable company to work for!.

The contract was accepted and signed and everyone received a pay increase.The KS city corporate HR professionals are corrupt and have no clue how to conduct a proper investigations all client's current and prospective should definitely research them.

Patricia Smith: Read the reviews and don't work here. training wages of minimum wage apply to both orientation and the first 3 days on the job. After that paychecks are mailed for months to your home not your work site. No breaks on 3rd ahift at my post. You were required not to leave the desk unless using the restroom. You could not heat up food and eat it at the desk. So basically if it wasn't a small snack you were expected not to eat. Fluid was allowed at the desk of you brought it from home. Otherwise even getting water from the cafeteria wasn't allowed. You were expected to do between 5 and 8 patrols a night. Meaning you were always on patrol. You had no energy to walk the insane amount of miles each night because of not being allowed a proper break or meal. The sight supervisor and employees looked as confused as deer in headlights. I was told if and when the benefits packages came you had very little time to sign up. 3rd ahift workers are treated like dogs not humans at the account I accepted. Don't bother asking for certain pay or hours you won't be offered over 32 hours and pay is set at low amounts. Experience means zero. Uniforms are not weather appropriate. Long sleeves and blazers in the heat. If you ask for more pants or short sleeves you are treated rudely. No rain coat or windbreaker for inclement weather. The shirts I was given were plain white ones with no logos. I've never had any uniforms before without company logos. Securitas used to be a good company. Maybe it's just this office I don't really know. Also don't bother telling them you have a disability they don't care and will assign you tons of walking and stairs. No pay raises either so a typical security company that doesn't care about its employees. If you want to be a body in a chair then apply. If not then run don't walk away from this company.

Rusty Holmes: I Spoke to Chance and he was very professional asked me the right questions.I hired him do some some PI work for me and I paid him upfront. But things on my end changed and I ended up not needing his services before we ever started. I asked for a refund and he quickly agreed and refunded my full payment. That in its self meant alot and i would use him in the future. Overall a good experience.

Salty Iquana: I read the good reviews for Chief Investigations and made the choice to try them to gather evidence for my court case. I could not be happier with my experience with them. I received a response the same day I contacted them and spoke with a very attentive investigator. We reached an agreement on scope and price and I received better than expected results. I obtained positive surveillance results and am ready for a trial with the evidence I need. Not that I want to have to go to trial, but working with Chief was the easiest part. I would give my 100% recommendation to anyone.

Jackie L: I attended my second soccer game at Swope Soccer Village earlier this month. I was completely baffled and left speechless with the experience my friends and I received at the front gate. We arrived with water bottles, as they were allowed at a previous game (knowing now it was based off the temperatures outside) and were told we needed to throw them away. We simply asked why they weren't allowed at this game as we were able to bring them in before and we were rudely met with the response "I don't know, why are you asking me?" In disbelief of what was actually just said with the attitude behind it we responded "Um...because you work here." Then she said, "Don't ask me, ask them in there (pointing to inside stadium), today's different." When we asked why today was different she just began ignoring us and she continued to mock and laugh about us asking about the water saying things "These people asking me about water, I don't know why, just go inside, etc." Other visitors behind us were shaking their heads as shocked as we were and other employees remained silent. Her attitude completely ruined our experience and has deterred us from wanting to attend any event where NPB is contracted.
Nicole S: I was shocked by the lack of professionalism & display of attitude from your gate/bag check staff at the FC KC Game tonight, from one woman in particular. Answering questions with an attitude, stating "why are you asking me?" & mocking patrons is not helpful or necessary. Why am I asking you? Because you're contracted to work here, ma'am. Rather than responding with an attitude, maybe it would be helpful to direct the patron to someone who might be able to answer the question.The few other event staff I interacted with were professional, but the initial interaction I had at the gate shaded my entire experience. After this experience, I doubt I'll be attending an event at this venue in the future.
