Rhyme and Reason Preschool of the Arts: what do users think?
Anna Ludwig: Our whole family loved our experience at Rhyme and Reason. I am so sad that we moved away and couldn't send our second child there as well. Ashley and Brittany are so creative and knowledgeable, my son came home excited and bubbling over with new information after every class. They have mastered the art of learning through play, and I am so happy my son experienced preschool with them!
Sarah Snodgrass: This is the best preschool! We have been at Rhyme and Reason for 1.5 years now, and have never had one problem or concern. The teachers are passionate, caring, and educated - they are very devoted and we feel lucky to be a part of their school community. The lessons are diverse, inspiring and creative, and my son LOVES going to school. He has learned so much from them. The school is kept very clean and my son is hardly ever sick. Highly recommend!
Tara Dye: I have recommended this wonderful school to every parent of a preschooler I know in the area. Brittany and Ashley instilled a love for school in my son that all children need. Their curriculum is top notch and their passion for teaching is evident everyday. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!

Union Hill Day School: what do users think?
Gavin Markman: We love UHDS. Highly recommend for quality care for your children. UHDS provides the equipment and environment to set our children up to be independent thinkers while maintaining a great learning environment.
Bentley Allen: Great school! My son is constantly exceeding all the expectations of his age group and I believe a large part of that is due to the lessons taught at the school vs just play time all day. Teachers are always so nice and keep me informed on my sons daily progress.
Clifford Blodgett: I am on my fifth child here and I can't say enough good things about them. Thank you so much for everything you do and for understanding the parents issues when tryiong to find amazing childcare. THANK YOU UNION HILL!!
Pam Roland: DISCRIMATED AGAINST HOSTILE WORKING ENVIRONMENT ONLY WORKED 2 DAYS. 1ST DAY OF TRAINING LEFT TO FIGURE OUT BY MYSELF NO OWNERS OR SUPERVISORS THERE TO ASSIST 1ST DAY. INADEQUATE EQUIPMENT AFTER I WAS RUSHED TO START DUE TO LAZINESS ON THEIR PART. PAID FOR HOURS DAYS LATER WHEN CHECK SHOULD BEEN DIRECT DEPOSIT PRIOR TO UPCOMING HOLIDAY. CONTACTING DEPT OF LABOR FILE DISCRIMINATION IF U HAVE CHILDREN OF COLOR DO NOT SEND YOURS THERE.
Chonda: Not a fan of Union Hill after having a little one there for a few months. This is my personal opinion; the communication is poor and the staff are not friendly, well at least some. It felt like my child wasn’t welcomed at Union Hill.

Montessori Academy: what do users think?
Spartacus Nguyen: So judgemental call people rude... not worth it for my kids anyway..
Doanh Ho: My daughter loved Montessori. They were very accommodating and figured out a schedule for us when we first entered her. It worked out perfectly. The teachers were attentive and caring. She thrived at this school. Unfortunately, we moved and she no longer attends.
Jennifer A. Roe: My daughter attended from when she was a baby up through preschool. It was a great fit for her each step of the way. I love the staff (as did my daughter). I miss them already!!
Reaching New Heights: My grandson started attending the academy about a month ago right as he was turning three. He is an only child and my husband and I were looking for quality education and socialization for Noah. Lucky for us we found them both in the Montessori Academy. Noah is learning so much and making new friends. His teachers are great and keep me up to date with everything Noah does. I especially like the daily photos and updates I receive via text and email. We plan to keep him at the academy until he ages out.
Jessica K: Love love love this place. My daughter is thriving there! She started at... I think 8 months and is now 2.5 yrs. They are so good with kids and we love how they bring the Montessori ideas into all the ages.
Araec Areac: The Owners, Miss Holly and Miss Hailey, are absolute saints and the staff are absolute angels. This academy has been a Godsend since day 1. I don’t have enough good things to say about the caretakers and their program. My daughter has attended for 6+mo and now speaks 3 languages. She is developing at an exceedingly fast pace. We are very thankful to be here!
Courtney Lewis: We brought out son here when we had a not-so-great experience with a previous daycare facility. At first I was a little concerned because it's smaller than what I was expecting. But it turns out it's just right for the age of the kids. He was just under 2. He's now 3 and a half and he has THRIVED here. The structure, the teachers, the field trips, the activities are just beyond what I was expecting. He started in the 2 year old room and now he's on the "big kid" side of 3 and 4 year olds, and he's learning so much. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat.
Erik Gustafson: Our daughter Vega attended for two years. She loved it. The staff is amazing, the activities and field trips are way above the other options out there. Vega still has friends at Crossroads from MA. I've recommended them to multiple friends.
T. Keith Hayes: None of the schools in KC MO are true Montessori because it takes a while to complete all the training! What we have experienced is let's throw Montessori on the building and they will come. That's fraud! Took a tour everyone seemed to be nice and caring but this is just a daycare so call it a daycare.
Katrina Howards: Both of my daughters attended Montessori Academy for five years. They were both cared for very well by the staff member. I would send them there again in a heartbeat.
Cherie mericle: I couldn't of made a better choice for childcare. The staff are experienced, committed, and loving. I'm constanstanly amazed by what my 2 year old has learned while being in the care of these amazing pre-school teachers. Selecting a childcare provider is one of life's most critical decisions... and I'm confident I got it right by choosing Montessori Academy!
Rachel Kelly: My daughter attended Montessori Academy from one month old until the day before she entered kindergarten. I always knew she was safe and well cared for. She was exposed to many things, even as a baby, that I could not have given her had I stayed home with her.

Alpha Montessori School: what do users think?
L C: Alpha is like our son's second home. He is loved and cared for there by amazing educators and above all he loves going.Alpha's teachers are Montessori certified, have been there for many years, some 20+, which speaks to the fact just how amazing it truly is. Alpha provides a welcoming community for all families and for children of all levels. They work with your children and meet them where they are at.Children participate in engaging activities throughout the day but also are a part of many unique experiences at select times throughout the year. For example, Eagle Bear's presentation! It's a memorable experience for all!Alpha is also very affordable. Tuition even includes weekly dance class taught by a local dance educator, a weekly music class taught by an award-winning musician, weekly yoga classes, and an amazing once a month cooking class with Yaya. To highlight what the kids learn throughout the year, Alpha even has annual music and dance performances where the kids are able to show their friends and family what they've been working on in dance and music class. For a small amount more you could add a weekly Happy Feet soccer lesson. If you are interested I would recommend taking a tour or speaking with any of the Alpha parents. We decided on Alpha after our first tour. You could tell that the owner was genuinely excited to have our child there and didn't view him as just another paying customer.-Mom of 3rd year Alpha student
Ian Arnold: Great little school for our little one.
H. C.: Great school for the kids,
Sheila Bethel: The Teachers are the greatest!!!!

Westport Montessori: what do users think?
April Utter: My daughter been coming here for a month now, and she loves it here. Since she has been coming, I have been impressed by what my been has learned. And she is a fast learner. All of the teachers here are so wonderful and they love the kids that they work with.
Lauren P: We picked up my son on his 5th day here and noticed his cheeks were red (but he’d been outside playing in the cold). Initially thought nothing of it. The next morning we realized he had a large bruise on his left cheek and a small bruise under his right jaw. He’d had no injuries at home. The school has no explanation for them. We pulled him out and filed reports.
Richard Bragg: Whenever I pick up my grandchildren the teachers and director are very professional. They always treat them like they are their own children. Also, the director's communication, thoughtfulness, and willingness to go above and beyond with my family is the best I have seen for the schools that my children and grandchildren have attended. We feel very safe and secure to leave our children in their care and would highly recommend this school to any family wanting a great education!
Maria Young: If you value safety and transparency, Westport Montessori is not the place for your child. Some of the teachers are wonderful, hence the extra star, but I recently pulled my daughter from this school because of another very unconstructive conversation with the Director about being asked to pay a 2nd registration fee in one year. I don’t know that I’ve ever dealt with someone so unprofessional. If you have any issues with anything at all, including the safety of your own child, you should expect nothing but eye rolls, excuses, and the standard "if you aren't happy, you're free to leave." She takes responsibility for nothing. The safety of those kids should be her #1 concern, but it's not. AT ALL. The entrance is supposed to be secure, but a locked door means nothing if it isn’t locked or you have no idea who you’re buzzing in. It has always been difficult for the teachers to see who they’re buzzing in, but they’ve recently built a small wall right in front of the door making it even harder to see who’s standing there - it makes no sense whatsoever. They buzz anyone and everyone in without looking to see who's there almost every single time. And there is no transparency or accountability for anything at this place. The owners have no interest in discussing issues with parents. In fact, according to the Director, she is “not allowed” to give out their contact information. Not even an email address. So, if safety, transparency, and being treated with respect are NOT important to you, this is the place for you! If they ARE important, take your child elsewhere.
Liza cartwright: My whole family could not love this school more. Love the entire staff. Always amazed how every single person who works there knows my daughter. Even students and teachers that aren't hers know her by name. The school itself is so happy, bright and clean. Our daughter CeCe is always happy to go and happy when picked up.
Josh Lovelace: Our four year old has been going to Westport Montessori for three years and we love the school, the teachers, and our daughter's classmates. There is so much variety, the kids are always having a good time, and most importantly, we're confident our daughter is well taken care of! Her teacher, Miss Lawanda, always has a smile and really focuses on my daughter’s lessons and progress. She always comes home ready to share the new things she's learning and we're just so pleased with the level of care and education she's receiving at the preschool.
S P: My son came home with adult nail and finger prints on his leg, arm and a small one on his back. Needless to say, I was very upset and reported it to the children's division. You trust a montessori as highly rated as this one to take care of your child and you pay them tons of money. I am absolutely heart-broken. The state investigation is still happening and I hope I get some kind of closer. My spouse and I are devastated for my son and we are at a loss.
Angie N: I'm continually amazed by how well Westport Montessori has trained my son to focus on his "work," stand in line, and clean up his toys. We receive a sheet every night that describes his daily activities, mood, etc. which is helpful in understanding ways we can assist his growth. I would highly recommend Westport Montessori. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because sometimes it's hard to find someone to communicate with if I have an issue or would like to talk about my child's development. This has been an issue at every group daycare center we've been at, however.
Meredith Johnson: I love how much they love my son! Every day I get a detailed report of when he ate, napped, etc, his activities, and his mood. The teachers in the baby room are very kind and loving and I feel confident leaving my son with them!
Jamie Olson: Troubling anecdotes regarding infant care from parents.

Wildflower Montessori: what do users think?
Samantha Lima: It’s the supportive and caring staff that make this school so wonderful! My kid is so proud of himself and all of his new independence thanks to his teachers. His confidence has sky rocketed and he’s always excited about the things he’s learned. I can’t say enough good things about Wildflower— highly recommend!
Sarah Hendrix Enderle: My daughter has been attending Wildflower for almost a full school year and I cannot overstate how wonderful this experience has been. The staff is knowledgeable, professional and so supportive of my daughter. I love that she has had this experience and would highly recommend it to anyone needing childcare.
Alissa Samek: We are currently looking for care this coming fall for our child. I originally emailed about tuition, openings, tours, etc. I received a response from the director saying there may be openings, tuition would be $240 and that there’s no tours happening right now but I could look in the window to see the facility. A few days later I received an email from the facilities general email saying tuition was $330 and that there’s a lengthy waiting list that I could be added to. Not sure if this is a reflection of how other things are ran here but the inconsistencies have turned me off.
Katelyn Corkill: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness
rachel R: My son attends here in Ms Kaitlyn's class, and it is amazing!!! They really cater to each students individual needs and have helped my son who has special needs to thrive. We are so grateful for them!
Shirin Hazrati: Critical:Professionalism,Quality,Value
K V: Parents please beware! What started off as a morning where I was almost 100% positive I was going to leave this daycare facility paying the enrollment fee and getting on the waitlist turned into a complete nightmare. I’ve read nothing but wonderful reviews about this daycare. When we called weeks ago we had a great conversation about the daycare and my husband and I were excited to schedule an appointment to tour the facility and learn more. We were told they preferred tours on certain days only during certain times so we scheduled within the requested time frame. We arrive eight minutes early (which I was always taught that if you aren’t early to a meeting you are late) so we decided to look around outside and at the playground area. Keep in mind it was my husband, myself, and our one year old daughter, so it isn’t like we were being creepy or even engaging with kids or anyone on the other side of the fence. Moments later someone came out hastily asking if she could help us, which I immediately said, “Yes, we were there for the 9AM tour and since we were a few minutes early we were just checking things out” not really thinking much of it (this isn’t our first daycare to tour/visit). She ushered us inside and wasn’t what you would call welcoming and made some excuses for why things were in a bit of array with boxes everywhere. She quickly handed us the paperwork to complete (pretty standard stuff) and then left. My immediate reaction was that is a little different, but let’s give a chance, but that’s when things went drastically south. They use walkie talkies to communicate back and forth between the buildings and staff (which at first I thought was a great idea) but one was left on the desk in the room we were in. I’m still a little in disbelief that this really happened, but we overhead an entire conversation (both sides) between Sarah, the owner who had let us in and another person talking badly about us! She started off about how she didn’t have time to print off something for the other person because she had to give this tour that she didn’t know why she was giving, and that she couldn’t believe we were outside and earlier -- specifically that she was going to have to have a talk with us about that---she said some other disrespectful things about us as well and that was just the part that we heard while we were there! Please keep in mind that at this point, we hadn’t even met Sarah before, let alone speak with her for five minutes so she knew nothing about us. My husband and I were beyond infuriated and frankly tired of listening to this conversation about ourselves, immediately stopped completing the form and I stuck my head back in the other room where she was and let her know that we not only heard everything that was just said about us, but that we had changed our minds about the place and were leaving! After looking back, I’m not sure if it was planned that they left the walkie talkie with us to hear them bad mouthing us or not, but regardless that is such a poor, poor business practice and it is really just unbelievable that they would even think to do such a thing, let alone the fact that they did not have to schedule tours if they were not interested in accepting more children. I can honestly say I have no words or advice regarding the daycare other than I would strongly advise steering clear of this place if this is the mindset of the owners and management, as it really makes a person wonder how they actually treat the children!!
Jessica McMaster: Amazing, kind and loving staff, clean and open concept classrooms, our kids love it and so do we!
Dawn Annette: My granddaughter loves going! The ladies that own and run it are amazing. They have a beautiful school and happy children😊
Dylan Brown: Wildflower is a wonderful place for children to develop and grow! Our 5 month old son is enrolled here and he loves it! All of the teachers are very friendly and involved. The facility is very nice and organized. We trust them with our baby boy completely!

Paseo Montessori Pre-School: what do users think?
KEV_ reacts & Gaming: I have been coming to this daycare for year in both a professional capacity as a child care regulator and as a grandparent and I love it. My grandson has grown leaps and bounds here and I have watched them be stern with him at times but never felt he was in harms way. They are always doing things for the children and are very intense to the kids. My grandbaby is 2 and in a matter of less than a year has gone from not talking to counting to 16, knows his colors, is very manerable, speaks very clearly and loves coming to school and oh yeah he's just about potty trained. These women really work with the kids on academics and structure. He will be more than prepared for P3 next year. This is a great place to send your child and they will learn and be loved on and again never felt as if my grandson or any of the other children were ever in harms way or being overly disciplined.
Sarah Chao: I saw the other google review here, and decided to speak up. I visited in late 2018, I arrived without an appointment, and the director had a child in her office and was yelling at him for disobeying a teacher. It was a threatening disciplinary speech; I remember feeling very uncomfortable. She did not know I had walked in and was in the waiting area - the door was NOT locked. When she noticed me, she acted kind and familial and sent him back to naptime. The children were napping in a crowded, unfinished area, and the babies were in a crowded back room. I would only send a child here as a last resort.
Morgan Kelly: The old witch is hitting the children. Please do not send your babies here.
