These guys are great - once fabric was selected (with their help), they place you on their production schedule. I contacted the store to see if the items are available for delivery Before Christmas. I was told the right arm would need to be ordered but a left arm was in Stock and could be delivered in 3 days. The ottoman needed to be ordered and that would be late December early January. I placed my order online on December 6th. Waiting for delivery today I received a call stating he had placed my order and it would be end of December early January. I informed him that is not what he and I spoke about as he was the person I spoke to. He rudely cut me off would not give me a reason why he before said he had the item once I said i could not wait until January. He lied to get my purchase. He hung up in my face and will not answer the phone. Now I have to dispute the charges and wait for a refund. Bad place to go. This was a Christmas and birthday gift for my loved one.

Called a week ago about 2 kitchen cabinet frames we weren't told were out of stock when we ordered. Called and spoke with 'Genvieve' who said, literally, " They're out of stock and don't know when they'll be in. Your just going to have to wait." Asked to speak with someone else who might try to help solve the problem. Had to explain the situation to 3 more people - another cust service rep, then transferred to the kitchen department, then problem resolution, then kitchen resolution just to be told item is out of stock and no one knows when it would be in stock again. Told them I would never have bought the cabinets if I had known that. Finally got transferred to 'Christy', had to explain again, who promised me last Tuesday she would look into it and call me in less than 24 hours. Now it's a week later. I called again to try to find a solution, and had to explain what happened last week to 5 more people, all to get transferred the exact same way with the exact same attitudes of 'too bad, you bought them' and we can come pick them up at your expense. Finally got someone who said they would back order the missing cabinets for me and send me an email with some kind of issue number and a waiver for any shipping fees. Got an email that said ,hey, you left this in your cart....and it wasn't even stuff I ordered or wanted. Never received an issue number, never received a notice about free shipping. That was approx 2pm my time today 5/30/2023. About 6:30pm my wife found one of the cabinets at the St Louis store, we are 300miles away in Kansas City (Merriam store) so she called because we couldn't get delivery or ship to store to show up online. Lady she talked to said the shipping would be very expensive and wouldn't be worth it, and that both the cabinets were discontinued and would not be available again. My wife asked to talk to resolution, sat on hold for 45 minutes before someone finally came on and told her the resolution department was closed. Now we have no idea what to do. These cabinets are for a rental property that should be listed by June 15th but now who knows when we will be able to finish the kitchen. No one has offered to try to resolve the issue, just pass the buck. Really? Having to explain the issue over 10 times is absolutely absurd and lazy. Will probably return the cabinets, and never do business with Ikea again.

I found everything I needed for a home makeover, from a sofa and a coffee table to pillows and curtains. The prices were affordable and the quality was good. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they helped me load my car with my purchases. The store also had a restaurant where I enjoyed a tasty Swedish meatball lunch. I spent several hours at IKEA, but I still felt like there was more to see and explore. IKEA in Merriam is a wonderful place for anyone who loves home decor and design.

Nick Grisham: The store in person is great! But if you ever go to IKEA and live a distance away (For me 3hrs). Their call center is one of the worst. Asked the call center to see if they could check with the store if they had a spare part for a shelf of mine that got some water damage. The call centers response was that I had to make the 6hr round trip just to check if they had a board. Was in KC for work this weekend so I stopped by. The store said the call center knows their number and can easily call.Overall, in person GREAT! Call center support AWFUL!!!!

He upholstered six dining chairs for us, and he did an excellent job even faster than he said he would. He's a busy man, so we had to schedule our appointment a month ahead of time, but such excellent quality is worth waiting for. When our appointment came, he was prompt and very responsive. I think you can't go wrong with Victor. He's a very skilled craftsman and a very nice man.

Brandon Dunn: I’ve been here several times. The staff never greets me. Not even at the front door. They shuffle by without acknowledging my presence. I guess I don’t fit “their” mold of a good customer or they have far too many customers and don’t need to bother with the likes of me or my money. The items are overpriced and the selection is limited. They must cater to the 50+ crowd. Will most likely be the last time I visit. Why is everyone stuck up?

Kaye Smith: We bought our new couch in early Sep, waiting for the sale period. We just got it yesterday😩, but understand the issues.He is beautiful!! Looks great!The delivery people came 5 minutes early for their scheduled time. No '4 hour window'. Refreshing.Our old couch was a custom, made to measure Century and breaks my heart to let him go, but your guys understood, offered to take him away, commented on how solid and heavy he was. Painless and perfect! Nice job!!

Jennie Foucheaux: I enjoyed my quick visit to Nell Hill's this weekend. It's a treasure trove of lovely things, definitely leaning toward very traditional decor such as ginger jars and botanical prints. Despite all businesses struggling to find employees, I was greeted, helped, and didn't feel like Nell's was understaffed. The price point is definitely higher than say a Home Goods, but so is the cuteness factor. I enjoyed walking around and getting ideas for table settings, general decor, and swooning over the fabric upstairs.

Wuji Fei: It's a nice furniture store, with a lot of Christmas stuff in the store when I visited. The only reason I rated an "ok" level is I don't think this fits my style of furnitures. It appears that the target audience is towards the older generation. I am sure some people will love this store based on their preference.

Kim Gillespie: Got these beautiful pillows a while ago and I LOVE THEM! The shopping experience was great and the people at Nell Hills are super friendly and customer service oriented even if you don't have millions of $$$ in your bank account. They took their time to show me all the different fabrics and pillow sizes and shapes. It took me a while to really make a decision which didn't matter to them as they waited patiently until I was ready to pick a fabric. I cannot really share some of the negative comments here in regards to the high prices. If you want less expensive furniture go to NFM or IKEA! If you go to Nell Hills you know that everything will be a little more expensive, but I think it's worth the trip and your money as you will find great and unique decoration as well as furniture that you won't find anywhere else. Again, 5 stars from me for the great service, shopping experience, and products!

Sara B: I love to find unique accessories and try to buy special florals here each season! I was surprised that by Sept. 10 you had very little Fall decor available… Christmas in Sept. is too early! I know everyone has an off day, but multiple employees walked by me today without even a hello. The woman that rang me up chatted with her co-worker more than I. Disappointing experience overall.
