cyrus s: We used to come here a lot before pandemic. At that time I would have rated this place 5 out of 5 but unfortunately our last experience we were placed in the back room area which it would have not been a big deal if servers were paying any attention to people in the back. I could count maximum 7 different meat with pork loin,pork sausage and caramelized ham, spicy chicken and chiken spiedini making half of those meats and the actual beef was mostly of Top sirloin stuffed with provolone cheese🤦🏻♂️ to the point that as a joke we tried to geuss what the next beef was and everyone geussed Top sirloin stuffed with provolone cheese and they where right every single time and even that would come after a good 15 min gap as your appetite is gone because of the wait. Unfortunitly these tricks might save them some money ( very understandable in this bad economy) but it will have some customers not returning. I would increase the menu $20 and keep my service untouched before I cut the quality and go nuts with pork, chicken and Top sirloin stuffed with provolone cheese to save money. Im sure your customers understand everything cost more these days and no one wants to see you go out of business.

Vidas P: Don't like leaving negative review, especially for a small business, but that is one way to improve. We had Nr.2, Nr.4, plus Coxinha and Risole. To start, everything was overcooked, Nr2 beef was overcooked to a point that beef was pretty much just a beef jerky. Nr.4 Chicken was so salty it was inedible. Both Coxinha and Risole were fried too long as well. Risole menu description says: filled with ham and cheese. Inside was ground beef and peppers, beef like chicken in Nr.4 had too much salt. Overall, for someone who has been in Brazil and enjoyed their cuisine this was a complete disappointment. Hopefully, this is just our experience, otherwise they have work to do.

My stepmother doesn't really eat red meat, but she said if she lived in KC, she would come back every month just to eat the Friday special (she is from Chicago). Daniel Hoerr: What an experience! I sat solo at the bar and happened to come in about 5 minutes before the end of happy hour on a Friday night. The bar staff were quick to point out their HH menu and took my order asap to get in a couple specials before it ended. Service was phenomenal, you can just tell these people care about their guests. True hospitality. And the food - From apps to pasta to oysters to dessert right down to the bread, olives and oil, this place is top tier. One Might expect that from a chef with a James Beard, but it’s still impressive. Every detail seems to shine. In a lifetime of excellent culinary experiences, Farina shines. And I don’t give that praise lightly. Also perfectly paired cocktails and wines. Che buono!
Q Nguyen: Absolutely delicious! I’m from Minneapolis traveling with my wife. We decided to try a nice restaurant like Farina. What a great option for fine dining. The restaurant is gorgeous. On side is a little louder than the other. We sat on the quieter, more romantic side with comfortable wing back chairs. Our server Betsy was attentive, kind, and courteous.The star of this place is the food. There is a valid reason why the average rating is 4.8. Such delicious flavors. The pasta is house made. Nothing we ate was overly seasoned. I ate a wood fired ribeye which is better than most steakhouses. My wife had leek campanelle and seared halibut.For dessert, we ordered the panna cotta flight- and absolutely must order item.Yes, this is a fine dining restaurant, but it is a fabulous one at that! Well worth my money and a fun experience.

N B: Horrible. I ordered ‘SPAGHETTI CACIO E PEPE’ earlier this evening. It was drier than Sahara desert and uncooked. I tried taking two bites, gave up. Inedible.We spoke with waitress and she said that’s how it is. I don’t believe that because another one of my friends ordered the same thing, it was properly cooked and swimming in sauce or melt cheese. Onion rings were cold. I’d give 0 stars if possible.This is probably the worst food I have ever had in my life.I won’t go back and will discourage others.

Julianne Rabal: This was my first visit to any Capital Grille location. I was celebrating a college graduation with high hopes of having a great experience with my family. Unfortunately that was not the case. We had to wait 45 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. The food was decent, however our server was extremely rude and had an awful attitude the entire evening really spoiling our night. Brett would take our plates and drinks without asking if we were not finished - even when there were still a large sip left. He did not really acknowledge our special occasion. We were expecting much better service for spending $$$$.

Fran Keal: My adult children and I enjoyed our visit to the Russell. The building is a bit nondescript on the outside, and the parking is around back. The inside is decorated in a very eclectic manner and is very interesting and conducive to staying for a nice chat. We sat inside, but there was outside, seating as well. Orders are placed at the counter, and food is delivered by servers. The menu was interesting with a wide variety of options. All of us liked our entrées and even enjoyed a gluten-free walnut brownie afterwards. Highly recommend for a relaxed, casual evening.
Thuc Ly: I really like the atmosphere and the venue, plenty space indoor and outdoor tables, no worry about parking. Energy, nutrient-dense food, tasting good, big portion given the price. The free detox lemondade jalapeño water is very interesting and refreshing, smells jalapeño but no taste of it though, I would've never ordered it just based on the name. Aisha Wills: We tried this establishment on Saturday after hearing about them on social media. The food was pretty good besides the Brussel sprouts which tasted charred and burnt. The venue is open seating, you choose what u want and order it before you sit down. Water, tea and lemonade are free, but regular beverages like coke for instance, you pay for by the can. Not a bad place to try out. We had the ribeye and lamb chops.

Betsy Mattison: Can’t believe I’ve lived in this city my whole life and just now tried Eddie V’s. You can tell by the abundance of staff that they take their business very seriously. From valet to our waitress, everything was excellent. Lobster tacos, crab cake, patron margarita and king crab legs were all top notch. I hate we don’t remember our waitresses name because she was lovely and deserves recognition for her great service. We will be back soon, thanks for making our anniversary extra special!
Princesses of the 417 Company: Beautiful inviting atmosphere, very upscale but not too stiff. Erica was our phenomenal waiter, but all of the staff was efficient and kind/courteous. The food and dessert was perfect. My 5 year old remarked that the restaurant was so fancy and he wished he was wearing and bowtie. Erica emerged moments later with her own bowtie from her uniform and put it on him. It made him feel so special. The whole experience was over the top and wonderful, our bellies and hearts are full!
Tom Dougherty: Super professional staff all around. The Front of house got us checked in and appeared to move everyone through quite efficiently. Our server Steven went the extra mile to take care of us. My wife got queasy about the time we arrived, and he saved the experience for us. I think 5s all around are appropriate. Tuna was great, scallops were solid. Drinks were on point (with some of Steven's advice/ executive decision making)

No whole chicken, no poblano mac n cheese, no Mexican Coke. Secondly, the food taste terrible now. Night and day difference from the previous location. The kimchi fried rice is flavorless white rice with a squirt of something brown in the middle of it. The carnitas are flavorless and dry and the chopped grilled chicken is way too salty. $42 for 2 nacho boxes and a jackfruit sandwich is not ok. I do not recommend

Lorraine Reimers: This was probably our 10th time going to Poio. The last time we went was right around Christmas during the super cold spell and the restaurant was freezing cold so we ate and GTFO. Tonight we went and the restaurant was again freezing inside but this time the food was also cold, even the pozole was barely above room temperature. It’s really unfortunate because we really loved this place as well as The Bite but I think we’re going to have to stop dining here.
