After having a very lick luster customer service encounter with a previous Kansas City foot provider, I continued my search and came across KC Foot Care. I went to the website and saw how informative Dr. Bembynista was in explaining various foot conditions, and I was so impressed. Since I was having pain in my foot for years I did not know if it was something that could ever be cured. I also had patella tendonitis in my knees which I was going to therapy for. I called Kc Foot Care and let me tell you scheduling was easy! The office staff were so friendly and able to direct me to the location. When I got there I found that all the warmth that I felt over the phone was exactly the same in the office including Dr. Bembynista who was so friendly and fun to talk to. Cindy and the rest of the staff there are so friendly and helpful and you can tell they care about their patients. During my appointment the doctor was able to tell me that arch support would assist me both my foot and knee pain so we ordered them. They took the time to reach out to my insurance who confirmed that the arch supports would be covered. I was thrilled. Now as a pregnant woman I went into pick up my wonderful arch supports. I've the wearing them for some months and I don't feel that pain in my feet anymore. I thought for sure that pain would come back during pregnancy but it has not. I followed the doctor's orders and made sure to wear them for a few hours a day and it has really made a difference I don't have the knee pain anymore either. And they have truly made me a believer. I also want to note the added touch of care that they provide at this office. When I picked up my arch supports they had all these wonderful goodies in there such as Reese's Pieces and Hershey's etc. I couldn't believe they went above and beyond to make this pregnant woman so happy LOL. Probably one of the very best experiences I've had with a doctor and they will always be my foot physicians from here on. Dr. Bembynista, Cindy and everyone there... THANK YOU!As a stage actor this saved me from the restrictions of pain and I'm able to dance again!☺️🙌🏾

alicia cabrera: Well, I’m a very anxious person but Dr. Bembynista has been 100 percent on top of my foot care. How many doctors give you their phone number to call when you have a question about the healing process? I sent him pictures of my feet (post surgery) every few days and he continuously reassured me I was healing just fine. I’m now wearing a shoe…an actual shoe. I’m 2 months post surgery. My foot doesn’t look all crazy and deformed anymore. He came highly recommended to me by someone I trusted. He’s also quite funny and his staff is wonderful. Doctors tend to not have a sense of humor but this one does. You can see that my right foot also needs the same operation.

I went to Dr. B and he treated me with a series of spaced out (virtually painless) steroid injections in my heels, and also measured and ordered an orthotic shoe insert as my wife and I were heading to the west coast with lots of hiking in mind. It is their policy to only take you if you are cash pay if you have medicaid at all. They won't even just bill primary insurance. I wish I had known this before I spent two days trying to schedule an appointment and completely rearranged my daughter's other doctor appointment. I am grateful that they caught this and called me to cancel before we actually showed up for her appointment.

(Why do we even pay for insurance, anyway?!) The doctor gave me a break on the price for the procedure because, "it's the right thing to do". That's a relief for me as a cash payer. It seems like the price of everything is so high right now, so getting a discounted service was such a nice surprise and a relief. I highly recommend this doctor. She has a heart, and she did a fantastic job fixing my toe. She's a gem, really.

I have spoken in churches, doctor’s offices, gyms, dental offices and schools. In my 15 years of speaking experience, I have never walked out on a talk I was scheduled to do; your office, Kansas City Podiatry Institute, is the lone exception.When my staff called to confirm my talk and go over the details, because that is what professional people do, we were told that we would be using the waiting room and would have a TV for my presentation. Frankly, I don’t even know who you are, because when we arrived, no one greeted myself or my staff and no one told us their name. We were taken into a tiny kitchen that would not even hold 3 people, let alone the 10 people that were scheduled to attend, and told that is where we would be doing the talk. We were also told that we couldn’t use the waiting room and there is no TV. When I said that I can’t do a talk for 10 people in this kitchen and I need a TV, we were treated rudely by the person who showed us back and left in the kitchen for an extended period of time.I go out into the the community and do Health Talks for free and provide lunch at my own expense because I want our community to be healthier. The agreement is, I provide lunch and everyone listens to my talk. Because our original agreement was broken by your office and I was not going to be able to do my talk as we had previously agreed, our contract was broken. That is why, when I left, I took the food. I provided lunch for all my neighbors that day. It was excellent.As for my clinical results, I will let my patients do the talking, and I believe that my 70+, 5-Star Google Reviews speak for themselves. In comparison, at your office of Kansas City Institute of Podiatry, your multiple one-star reviews in the past months and your measly 10 Reviews speaks volumes of how your office is run and the clinical results you achieve.I was going to let bygones-be-bygones after this incident, but because you reviewed my business this way, I will be reviewing your business similarly. Expect another one-star Review to be added to the ones you already have. Yvonne Pierson: Doctor T and his staff are awesome. They're friendly, compassionate and professional.I have had pain in my feet for years like over 30 years. Now my feet don't hurt.Doctor T sent me to Physical Therapy for my feet. Plus he recommended shoes that had good Arch supports.The Physical Therapy was so good for my feet and helped with my Raynauds and circulation and my padding in the Metatarsal area is much better. The Physical therapist said that I could phase off of my Therapy that I was doing at home. That was 4 months ago. I have chose to continue home foot therapy on my own twice a day because of the benefits I get from doing them.

Sadie Hicks: He did not take the time to listen to all of my symptoms before giving a guess of a diagnosis. He took the X-rays (despite me getting some done the week prior) got the money for the initial visit, gave me a steroid (for possible arthritis...I’m 27 and don’t show clear symptoms of it) and shoved me out the door. Had he taken the time to listen to ALL of the symptoms and review the X-rays closely or get the right angle of X-rays taken based on the symptoms he would’ve noticed that a sesamoid bone was dying and needed to be removed for pain relief. No steroid can fix that problem. Total waste of time and money, which left me in pain for another 6 months.
