Tom R Baker: My favorite store in Brookside! If you're looking for kids' science toys - this is a great spot to look. Target or Wal-mart is cheaper but this store has the selection and knowledgeable staff to help you find what you need. IMO it's one of a very store in Brookside worth driving in (from outside the neighborhood) to visit. Parking can be a little tricky for this and most Brookside stores. Be ready to walk from your car.
Terry Rodeghier: If you are looking for a present for a person Young old, this place has everything you could want. I lean towards toys and gifts that will challenge the mind and they have many. The staff is wonderful and helpful and hey, they wrap your presents for you. What could be better.

Nicki Patterson: Employee was extremely rude to us upon entry and refused to let my 18 year old son and his friend enter the store without an adult present. Even if the store policy requires supervision of minors, which is not stated or communicated anywhere outside or inside the store, the level of rudeness and unprofessionalism that was shown by the employee immediately when we entered was completely uncalled for. After I showed up and “ushered” them in the employee then had 2 security guards come in and follow us around. We felt profiled and they left the store in tears because of the direct treatment they received from YOUR employee for absolutely no reason. It was traumatizing for them. It had nothing to do with your unstated policy. Do better. Hire high quality employees and clearly communicate your policies so patrons are aware. I will NEVER return to the store or spend any money on their products.

Chantal S: We were refused service due to my daughter, aged 9 years old, not wearing a mask, despite having an exemption, which I stated. They directed us to go to customer service to get a mask for her. I was wearing a mask, but again, my daughter has a legitimate exemption. The store was not busy and we were going to maintain six feet distance from others (though there were three or four employees congregated around the cash register NOT six feet apart). We went across the hall to the Crayola store where they did not question me about my daughter and she was able to purchase a gift there.I’ve attached copies of the mayors order that allows exemptions. This business did not abide by the orders.

Samantha B: We went in last Saturday because it was my daughters birthday. It was also the first time she had been there. The gal who greeted us seemed like she did not want to be there. She didn’t talk much either. She wasn’t very interactive either while filling my daughters bear. It seemed like she just wanted to get it over with honestly. No one helped us out after that. I worked at this location years & years ago & we were taught to be “cheerful” & interactive with the kiddos. One of the other gals was super nice & interactive somewhat with our daughter & the gal who checked us out was also very nice. They didn’t have much to choose from in the way of outfits. I know everyone has their days & I maybe she was just tired or didn’t feel good. Hopefully the next time we go things are better!

Sarah G: Much less variety of accessories than most BAB locations. Two Employees working seemed very tired, one didn't seem to feel very well. They were not rude, just seemed to only be able to give the 'bear' minimum that day.They messed up on our 6-in-1 voice clip additions to our products. I had to go to another location the following day to have mine replaced. The employees at the 2nd store said they didn't even understand what method the Zona store used to add the voice clip.I was also overcharged a small bit, nothing terrible, but still.In the future I will be more than happy to drive a bit further to a location other than Zona Rosa for my Build-A-Bear needs.Maybe they were just having a rough day. I hope things are better for others who visit.

They have lots of licensed characters from star wars to Harry Potter. They have boy, girl, and gender neutral options. It always takes a while to get through the store but so happy with the experience.

Kyle Tritsarolis: What you’d expect. Not the best prices, confusing sale signs, but at least the staff is friendly.I do have to give them credit on the durability of their product. Our kids have torn apart other stuffed animals, but these ones keep going strong. In the rare event that a stitch comes loose, they’ll fix it for free.Definitely a better experience than just buying a random stuff led animal with the kids. The fact that they put the heart in and all of that stuff is truly special for the little people.
Lacy Fristoe: So expensive they do have birthday bears but you can only get brown or a white bear. Cost 68 dollars for a bear a scent two outfits shoes and a bag to carry your bear .
Jessica Hirbe: We went during spring break which was probably a mistake because they were super busy. Each of my 3 kids got an animal and had fun making them but the store employee was rude and ignored my son who was trying to make conversation with her while she helped stuff his animal. She then all too quickly stitched them up only for me to find the next day the seams coming apart on two of the three. I reached out to customer service and they said I could return it. We don’t live nearby and that is inconvenient. Alternatively we could mail them at our expense, no thank you. I wasn’t given a receipt, only birth certificates with their creation date on them, and customer service said that was not good enough. So disappointing for such an expensive product.

Raven Neer: Bear was fun and great. Problem was one of the employees. They were sick as can be. Runny nose and coughing, rubbing their nose and eyes and face while handling our bear. She also openly talked to us about how sick she was. Then to put the scent on the bear she rubbed her hands thoroughly through the entire bear. Next day my wife was sick as a dog and now my entire family is sick. Absolutely irresponsible. Give your employees sick days or make them go home jfc. Should call the health department.
Dan Cole: Why does the majority of the staff have dyed hair? Anyways, it's still a great place to come with your kids for a special occasion. The bears seem to lay through all the love that is given to them over the years. We have a Vermont Teddy Bear as well, but they just aren't as snuggly as the Build A Bears. If you're going to order online, think twice as the assembly of the bear is the special part.

Katie Gonzalez: Very disorganized. We were there when it was busy and they would only have one person on the stuffing machine while 5 other employees were standing behind the two cash registers. One person was on the floor helping sometimes. We were there for over 2 1/2 hours in line waiting for the stuffing. They messed up one of the very expensive stuffed animal that we purchased so we had to go back and they did a horrible job of stitching the animal back up. And they removed stuffing and did not replace it. I would not go back. I would not suggest you visit this location. Plus there were hardly any options of animals to choose from. Not worth the price or time.

JAP: I’m not certain this is even owned by Crayola anymore? Space had Crayola advertising as seen in other reviews but as for shopping, empty shelves! Plus mostly non-Crayola toys and other brands of crayons. I was shocked because the Crayola section was slim pickings and basic items. Target or even Walgreens has a bigger selection. Super weird! I was expecting mostly Crayola products and unique items that aren’t everywhere else.
Steve Engel: The store is missing a golden opportunity to provide customers with more of an interactive experience. I was hoping to buy customized boxes of hand-picked crayons or otherwise special color combinations, but they offer nothing even close to that. I don't think there was anything on the shelves that anyone couldn't buy at Target or Walmart. My experience here was not a bad one, but I really hoped for more. I was envisioning something like the M&M store in Las Vegas, although I'm not sure why, and maybe that's an unfair review. But how about giving visitors a product or experience that they can't get anywhere else?

Could you PLEASE post what time the store will open SOMEWHERE. I understand COVID19 and hours have changed but please communicate.

You can get EVERYTHING here from the traditional crayons themselves to paints, finger paint, glitter dots, coloring books, exotic dot to dots, clothing, books, figurines, stuffed toys, activities for different ages, crafts. Did I leave anything out?
