Samantha Contreras: This company is a great family business. They claim 20 years of experience and it shows. I called them to hang and finish my living and dining room and the finished product was fantastic. Throughout the process they were quick, not rushed just efficient. The walls were hung within just a few hours, and the very next day the finishers were on time and ready to work. Again, the end result was impressive. So smooth and perfectly sanded. My walls looked beautiful.

Aaron Brumage: Their drywall hanging crew was awesome. And when they can I. To tape and skim it was great at the beginning. Toward there final coat there were a lot of issues with tape showing and just poor skim coats and sanding. Even after they came to touch up I found numerous spots that were not sanded. And some spots that were sanded to much. Corners were still not done well and my angled walls were very poorly floated. They seemed to be in a big rush and did not take the time to properly float and sand. They also did not vacuum up any of the dust from sanding. And they left footprint trails through my house. They also strung hoses out to clean and did not put them away. I was not happy with there cleanliness and there final product. Other than that they were on time and the Sheetrock hangers were great.

Kenneth Cummins: We hired this company to mud and tape drywall already installed and to put new drywall on ceiling. They were also hired to paint most interior walls. Drywall Crew: Pros: The crew showed up on time. Their drywall crew was great. They put plastic covering everything. The finished product looked amazing! Cons: Clean up could have been better. Dust was found in every single place that sanding had been done. Also, there were drips on fireplace mantle, carpet, and newly refinished wood floors. Popcorn ceiling got onto walls and was not cleaned up until pointed out by us. Painting Crew: Absolutely WOULD NOT recommend this company for painting. Several places were missed. Edging in every single area needed to be redone (around all doors, windows, and where ceiling meets walls). They got paint on my carpet, my couch, my newly refinished wood floors, and the ceiling that had just been redone. I do not think they put any plastic or paper down at all. They did not take off any of the covers to outlets and light switches so there was paint all on those. Since they were not taken off there is a definite line and some tearing of the paint that came off when we had to take the covers off. We should not have had to go through and spend as much time as we did this past weekend fixing the things this company said they were going to do. When a crew is hired, there should not have to be a single finger lifted by the customer to fix anything because the job should be done correctly in the first place. When all of this was pointed out, the response given was **well we already did a lot** I understand mistakes happen but this was not a mistake. This was complete laziness and a failure. I have learned my lesson with this company.

They were quick, the final work looks amazing and is ready for me to paint, and they went above and beyond to fix the mess I made when pulling off crown trim. Robert Allen: Was disappointed with the delivery service. They arrived 30 minutes before the time window causing some scrambling to get someone to the property to let them in. Upon my arrival to discover they positioned their boom truck next to recently laid sod and extended the Outrigger/Stabilizer into the sod. Mashing the yard and left a 20" wide by 5-6" deep crater in the yard. I remarked "...I wish you hadn't done that..." to which I received a smart reply "...did you want me to bust your sidewalk".The sod contractor was to return and replace the sod they laid as it was dehydrated and never recovered, however this hole in the yard that looked like it needed a man hole cover to cap it off cost me $30 in extra dirt and labor to repair thanks to Holmes Drywall delivery.Note: This was a light load, 11 sheets and I think 12 boxes of mud to finish a project. My front door looks so much better. Even though I wouldn't recommend the company, I would recommend the technician's work quality. The reason why I wouldn't recommend them is that I didn't like this interaction and would not want anyone I know to feel as if they were taken advantage of...I feel as if the way my project was handled lacked ethics.It was originally quoted that my project would run from 8am-1pm. Since this is my first time using the company, I assumed that this was just the timeframe the work would be accomplished; not that they were expecting their technician to paint my door and sand 3 small areas of the door for 5 hours. I also didn't expect to be charged for time when the technician was not here. For example, he didn't get to my house until 8:45am but that was considered as on the clock? So making assumptions was my fault. I can admit that and it won't happen again.Anyway I think the company could work on setting proper expectations, especially with new clients. Throwing on a materials charge without even telling me that during the phone consultation seems not right, even if it was an oversight. Then when I called about it and was told that they could remove the materials charge because the extra costs was not much to argue, this makes a person feel like you're saying they're being cheap. It's not only about money but about standing behind what you say and do. You know, integrity.At the end of the day the response given does not negate my original contention: the paint job was dragged out for 5 hours just so you can make a buck on someone that you likely saw as gullible.Service:Exterior painting

Ashley Crowley: We hired them to mud and tape our drywall in the kitchen and living room areas. Took 4 days, as only one individual was doing the work. After paying, my husband came home and looked over everything and it was clearly not finished and paint ready as we paid for. We had two drywall specific companies come out and take a look… they agreed it was no where near paint ready. It needed at least two additional coats of mud and all the seams needed to be floated more. You could see the tape, screws and most of the tapered joints that weren’t covered with enough mud. We ended up having a different company come out and redo/finish the drywall and it was a night and day difference. Mr Handyman did offer to send someone else out to finish the unfinished work; however, as paying customers we felt that if they couldn’t complete the job correctly the first time as it should have been, we weren’t going to have them come out a second time and take a chance that our time was wasted again. When he never showed, we called and he was angry that we bothered him and told us he would call soon. To date we have not heard from him. Now, it's too late in the year to get the work done. He is rude and completely unreliable.
