Jennifer Silvey: My friend and I both went to get piercings today. We went during walk in hours, Tuesday through Saturday from 2:00pm until 8:00pm. We arrived at 3:15, and waited less than ten minutes for Joe Gallentine to get set up. Our piercer was awesome, put up privacy screens, completely professional, and we were both finished by 3:50. The price was on par with competitors. I had a wonderful experience and we will be returning for future body modifications.

Kitty Neal: I went in for a dermal piercing today, barely had to wait...maybe like 2 minutes...Joe was AMAZING. I have several piercings, but I always get nervous before hand. Joe was super personable, made me feel 100% comfortable, and very patient! He marked my face, but told me if I didn't like the placement we could move until I did. I showed him a pic of where I wanted it, and he got it first time. He is very extremely knowledgeable about what he is doing, and gives off calm vibes that makes the whole experience easy. I told him that I usually get light headed, feel sick to my stomach all that good stuff after a piercing. And he just said well lemme know and I'll get ya a trash can. Every time I go, the piercer always explains every step of what they're doing as they do it, so I always know what's happening. They go over cleaning, healing and ask if I have questions multiple times before any piercing tool is even seen. Picking out jewelry is super easy and fun. Also, every thing is sanitized! Same goes with the piercing rooms. The selection they have is beautiful & the atmosphere is relaxing & welcoming! There may be some accessibility issues with entering for wheelchair users if I remember correctly. There are short few steps as you enter. However I feel the staff would be eager to make an accommodation happen based on expirience.As someone with a bleeding disorder, there are certain precautions I go through with piercings. The staff was knowledgeable & prepared for a such clients, all while making me feel welcomed & in good hands! They calm all nerves through education & how positive and wonderful the team members are! Will be returning here & highly recommend!!
Kirsten Pinto: My 9-year-old wanted her ears pierced and I asked around for recommendations because I know nothing about piercings except that I didn't want to go somewhere with a gun. I'm so glad a friend recommended Supernatural to us. Clay was fantastic with my daughter. So great. He put her totally at ease while also letting her know she was in control and could change her mind at any point. Instructions about caring for her new piercings were thorough and everyone was so kind that I wouldn't hesitate to reach out if we had questions or concerns later. The shop was meticulously clean. I was so impressed with everyone and everything about this shop.

The reason that my review is so low is because I asked to have jewelry changed in 2 of my helix piercings because they had previously been pierced with silver and I wanted titanium because they were not reacting well. The piercer happily obliged and I got 2 new pieces of jewelry and he replaced them for me and assured me that they would be much better for my ears. He assured me that the posts were long enough even though I was worried about it. 2 weeks later I had to go to the doctor and have them removed because the posts were not long enough and the tissue in my ear had grown over the jewelry. One year later I am stuck with 2 huge lumps of scar tissue in my ear and a horror story of how a piercer wouldn't listen to me. I am afraid to use the jewelry because it is too short for ANY of my piercings, even the completely healed ones that I have had for years that are in the thinnest part of my ear. I would recommend going here as long as you are willing to argue with the piercer.Service:Ear piercing

Michelle: Okay, so I have had probably like four done here from two separate artists. One of them was super flaky and kept saying he would touch up one of mine and then eventually ghosted me and it’s SO faded and has healed so badly compare to all of my others even though I took care of it. I had another artist that was super fun and I actually loved his personality but the tattoo he gave me looks unfortunately so bad :( The shading is so muddy and so many of the lines faded after just a week. I felt like this shop just rushes to take as many people as they can for profit rather than giving truly quality tattoos. I have heard several things from other artists around the area about having to touch up tattoos from here. (Side comment: I heard a girl coming in and she wanted a spine tattoo and seemed super nervous about it and the artist almost shamed her. They said something along the lines of “Do you want that tattoo or something people will actually thing is cool?” to the young girl after she showed the reference photo. I honestly have anxiety and something like that would’ve truly made me feel awful. I understand working in the field, you’re able to see tattoos that are seemingly “basic” but if someone likes it why does it matter. So incredibly condescending.) All in all I would absolutely not recommend getting a tattoo here unfortunately especially not a walk-in.Service:Tattoos

Our wait was about an hour and a half , which isn’t bad, and whoever was handling the front desk was hilarious, so it made the time fly by.We had Cara and she was awesome. Chris See: RACIST! I went in looking for a specific design and was referred to Caleb, who’s demeanor is very rude. He showed me one variation. Which I revised. He then went in the back and drew a different design, he came out with a racist “caricature” of a person of color. With VERY EXAGGERATED FEATURES. Like so obvious it was over the top! Will never go to this shop again, and I will not support any business who upholds this kind of behavior.

Erica Gassen: My daughter and I showed up as walk-ins for tattoos. The people at the front desk were very friendly and quoted our wait time to be pretty right on. Brett drew up what we wanted and was totally ok with the few minor changes we asked for before the stencil. Since we both got the same tattoo, he put both stencils on before he started the tattoos to make sure they both looked good on the spots we wanted. He was so friendly and professional and we are both incredibly happy with the results! Brett was absolutely amazing and we could not have had a better experience!

After many attempts the piercer got a new ring in it I asked for help with something to clean my ear off. While I was still in the piercing booth the piercer left to eat, came back in asked why I was still there, to which I replied "I need something with saline so I can clean this blood off my ear" and I was using the mirror to change my Tragus piercing . I asked for something with saline on it three times and never got it . Also the piercer is heavy handed but that's just my opinionService:Piercings

They do a good job with piercings for the most part (one lady there is really good, the other is OKAY). I don’t remember her name though. Never got a tattoo here. But I got my nose pierced twice.Warning .. They aren’t the friendliest lol but that’s typical for most tattoo shops (although it is nice when the people are more friendly than not). But despite that.. they’re the most decent piercing shop I’ve been able to find in Kansas City. They moved my mark for my piercing until I liked it.There’s one more shop I heard is good but last I checked they required you to be vaccinated. So I found this place on google.Hope this helps! ✨

Ari hello: I have been pleased with their service and patience for first-timers. With that being said, I wouldn't recommend thisto those who are unfamiliar with ear piercings, more specifically. There are better places to go that will give you better jewelry that'll be easier to heal and less likely to get infected. The type of jewelry they use will twist off, and you won't be able to turn it back on yourself. I went here three times, believing it was a good place so I spent $240 here in a year. I went to another place and paid $60 for one piercing instead of $80 for two helix piercings, and I have had it longer than any of the piercings I got here. I asked him before he put the hoop in of it was big enough for the conch. Turns out it wasn't. My ear is now painfully swollen from the jewelry being too tight. My whole ear is red. Kenzie Moore: After 3 YEARS of knowing Loran I finally had some time to get a tattoo from him. He is TOP NOTCH. Wanted a simple dog print of my Great Dane and his name tattooed and Loran fit me in that very same day, as well as knocked out the tattoo in roughly 45 mins. He is amazing at what he does. Will coming back for the new paw print of my newest Great Dane! :)

Geneva Combs: Typically I'm not one to leave a bad review but I want others to be aware of my experience as it wasn't a great one. I have many tattoos and have had many piercings in the past so I know what to expect for the most part. There were many red flags and I tried to look past them but ultimately paying the price. This was the first place I have never had to do any type of paperwork for, not even as much as checking my iD or asking my name. I was not asked if the placement was okay (or else I would have changed it) before being pierced. Mostly because I wear glasses and my glasses sat on top of the ball for the industrial bar which is painful. (2nd time having it pierced, I figured he would use the same holes as previous) He was extremely rough with the piercing itself even afterwards. It also wasn't placed correctly because it tried to embed into the flat of my ear and I had to remove it and have it repierced at another shop. Wish I had a better experience and I know not everyone's experience will be the same. Just don't want it to happen to someone else. The shop itself was clean and they were nice, just rough and didn't ask if the placement was okay before putting a needle in me.Service:Piercings

Jadyn Grace: I would never go back. I got a septum piercing and later went with a friend to a different shop and had them look at it bc of the pain I was having. They looked at it and saw that LA Plaza Tattoos used the wrong type of jewelry when they pierced me, pierced me too low which lead to them piercing me through my cartilage. I would never go back. I had the most stressful experience and they didn’t seem like they knew what they were doing… my friend got a nostril piercing and they used the wrong jewelry to pierce her. It was way too short. When we walked on it smelt like someone had just lit up and it was horrible. The workers were going out and smoking then coming back in to work

Emily (Selkie): Came in today as a walk-in to get my earlobes repierced after having had them closed up for many years. It was a great experience, I'm very impressed. Everyone was very friendly and professional.The piercer was very good at her job, the piercing itself hurt less than getting blood drawn at a doctor's appointment. The shop was clean and had lots of cool art on the walls.I would definitely come back for more piercings should I ever decide on getting some more, and I'm very interested in their tattoo work as well.

Bradley Munderloh: Got us right in for a couple walk in tattoos. Friendly staff and welcoming environment. Long story short, if you're in Lawrence KS and wanting to get a walk-in tattoo, don't waste your time and make the drive over to KC to Working Class. Lawrence KS tattoo shops have no clue what "walk in" means or having dedicated walk in artists. Most weren't even open on a Saturday afternoon. We weren't looking for cheap necessarily and our tattoos were literally 2 letters, but Working Class's shop minimum was half that of Lawrence shops.
