Rockhill Pet Clinic: what do users think?
Aurora Nelson: A friend recommended Rockhill and I've been really pleased with the care my yorkie has received. A few months ago they treated him for an infected tooth. They did a great job keeping me updated during the procedure and checking up on him afterwards. Earlier this month my yorkie was attacked and had to have stitches at an emergency hospital. Rockhill has been great with his follow up care. I was wreck after the incident and they put me at ease and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend Rockhill.
Karen Cameron: I highly recommend Rockhill Pet Clinic for all your pet care needs!! I have an adopted family of kitties, a mother and her six kittens, and the care they receive here is the best!!!The doctors and staff are so caring, knowledgeable, and professional!! 5 stars all the way!!❤️
Grant Barnum: I've been taking my best friend Ozzy(blue heeler/great pyranese) to RPC for four years now and it's been a pleasant experience every time. They always work me into their schedule, they're prompt, and they really care about my needs. Not too expensive either. I recommend them all the time.
Judith Scammon: The techs and veterinarians at Rockhill Pet Clinic have provided excellent care for my cats over the years. The staff, some of whom have been there many years, are knowledgable and dedicated.
Quentin Sloan: All the staff are so nice and helpful! They always make us feel at ease, even with the stress of a vet visit. They always remember who our furbabies are, and are so nice to them! We feel very welcome every time.I really appreciate how the doctor explains what she’s doing and why, and covers any concerns she may have.I am very comfortable having my babies taken care of here!
Warren Rosser: Excellent and caring people and facility.
Jason Erickson: Myself and others in my extended family have received exceptional service at Rockhill, couple that with the outstanding care given to our animals is the reason for this review. All the doctors and assistants are wonderful, they display a passion for animal care. Thank you Rockhill Pet Clinic.
alondra mercado: My puppy was 8 weeks I had taken her to get her shots and she was later ran over. I had gotten the puppy package and this clinic worked hard with my to reimburse me for the package since I would have no longer needed it not only that, but they were sympathetic and mailed me a handwritten card with their condolences. I am touched by the sincerity of the people working here. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a financially vet, as well as someone who is looking for clinicians that will truly care about your paw family ❤️
Frank H: Compassionate and caring. For nearly 20 years, every procedure is thoroughly reviewed with you along with an estimate of cost and what to expect post surgery. Even if it a blood draw they tell me where it was taken and what to watch for. An outstanding group of nurses, vets, and staff.
Valorie Bratcher: Both of my cats go there. They are always helpful and caring. They always check back with you. We were have some behavioral issues and the vet called behavioral vet for some pointers. They are not inexpensive but good.
karla soto: I’ve been to a few pet clinics and nothing compares to ROCKHILL !!! Amazing staff and they always answer my questions and it really feels like they care about your furry friend vs just seeing you as $$$. I love it here and Lola my doggie always gets excited to see the staff. I wish nothing but the best for everyone at Rockhill !
Pat Vamos: Very friendly and attentive staff. We trust our pets in the care of the fine people at Rockhill Pet Clinic
wendy casebier: Been sending my cat to Rockhill for a handful of years now. They're great at face to face customer service, generally great with my cat, however utterly terrible with organization and communication. I have to travel for work and many clinics I visited with Izzy tried to contact them for her files. They get no response. I contact them today to say they needed my permission but they never contacted me about it. There were other situations that arose like this for my cats medicine where someone failed to type up notes or put the right information in the system, which would result in my cat not getting her needs met in a timely manner and at stage 3 renal failure that is not acceptable.
Shannon Blank: My 19-year-old cat had an emergency situation where her upper canine somehow got displaced behind her lower canine. I was able to get an appt for her with the vets at Rockhill Pet Clinic, and, after removal of the offending tooth, I could not even tell by her actions she had undergone surgery! All sorts of monitoring, careful procedures, appropriate anesthesia, etc. that are part of their surgery routine ensured my girl was safe the whole time, and that she recovered quickly and beautifully. Not only did I appreciate the way they kept her safe and performed the dental without any resulting complications, I was also extremely grateful they made room on their schedule for her right away. Thumbs way up, and huge thanks.
Elizabeth Baird: I trust my pup completely at this clinic. My dog is high energy and is not always the most well-behaved, but Rockhill Pet Clinic works with her to meet her needs, which I am so thankful for. I appreciate all the staff members for loving on my dog and giving her the best medical attention possible. I love their scheduling system - very clean and organized. They always pick up the phone. They have been able to squeeze my dog in last minute when an emergency occurs. Highly recommend this clinic!
Maris Tucker: Rockhill Pet Clinic has done a wonderful job taking care of our golden retriever from the start! When she was young, she had gastrointestinal and ear infection issues and we struggled to figure out the root of the problem. Rockhill helped us to do a food trial which ended up getting her down to a healthy weight and eliminating frequent ear infections completely. They are great at listening and they always call to check up on Butter, so we always trust they have her best interest in mind.
Abby Katt: They handled a stressful/potentially emergent situation with my dog so professionally and compassionately. The techs are so caring, and even called/follow-up throughout the week just to check on our dog. Dr. Miller explained everything so well, and it made me feel confident to leave my sick dog with them.
Lani Hamilton: I received a message from the vet on a Tuesday afternoon to share my dog's lab results. I called as soon as they opened on Wednesday morning. On Wednesday evening, right before they closed, I received a message admonishing me because my dog "really" needed to be on medicine and I need to check in with them. It seems my message from Wednesday morning was lost. When it's important that a dog gets on medicine, it seems like they need a more organized system of communication. For example, the vet could have told me to come by and pick up the medicine in her original message rather than (or in addition to) telling me to call in to talk with her. They just always seem a little disorganized like this, and this time it was important.
David Burrow: New to KC looking for affordable quality pet support for my dog Gracie. Initially chose this clinic after finding them on the maps app being close to the where I'm staying but now I can't imagine taking her anywhere else. Their excellence in care and support are second to none at least in my 3 1/2 yrs since I acquired Gracie as a puppy. The receptionist, nurse & Dr were all very welcoming and personable answering all my questions and addressing all my concerns. I treasure their expertise & "from the heart" care Gracie received.
Anastasia Gans: Profits over patients and zero compassion.I took my bud here for a dental infection ($75), scheduled him for an xray the next day ($400). Brought him in at 7:30; when I called around 11 to check in, they still had not started the procedure, was told he is next in line after another patient. The vet - Dr. Vodraska - calls an hour later, says that she got bad news and that the issue was probably cancer. She was almost gloating and declined to pull the loose tooth when asked, instead recommended $1,200 of additional testing, she followed it up with the fact that he needs to go to a specialist. She told me our best option will likely be to remove his entire lower jaw (!!!). I was so shocked over the whole ordeal, I could barely speak. The doctor and her nurse kept pressuring me to approve further testing; to clarify, the $1,200 was not going to deal with his infection or loose tooth, after the testing he would still need to go to the specialist. I declined further testing, and when picking up my cat from them I could not hold back tears or even speak. The doctor saw me and said nothing.Bottom line - I scheduled an appointment with Companion Animal Dentistry following this. At the initial consult the vet there said she is 99% sure it's just a bad tooth infection, as I suspected, suggested extractions, which we went forward with. Two weeks later biopsy came back negative, my cat is healthy, and I likely lost a few years off my life because of the awful experience at Rockhill Pet Clinic.Dr. Vodraska knew she could not help my cat with dental work and instead of referring him to the specialist after she first saw him, she tried to squeeze me for more $$$.Avoid this place, they don't care about your pets.
Thomas Buck: Do not use this vet! They are overpriced and unprofessional. They make charges for services not rendered. Beware.

Look I know Rogue just go to another pet smart. They had a betta 2 weeks ago from 2/14/23 I was going to adopt. NO BETTAS! TF! Will I still give this store my business yes. Animal Medical Center Of Kansas City: what do users think?
Nina W: I've taken my Pets there since 1982Love this place Pumpkin & Cyrus
Randy Nevens: Our three dogs were lovingly cared for here.
Elana Herndon: Great Place 👍
Angela Buckingham: I came home from my mother’s funeral to find her beloved cat in distress. I called this clinic where she had taken her animals for decades. TOO BAD, SO SAD, GO TO THE EMERGENCY CLINIC OF YOU REALLY THINK THAT'S A BIG ENOUGH PROBLEM was the flippant, dismissive response that I got from the girl on the phone. This was after I was put on hold for 45 minutes and told they would call me back. When I called back a second time, I had to wait for the girl to get done giggling so she could dismiss me after wasting precious hours at the end of the day. She never bothered to talk to the vet about my concerns or forward the medical records for the animal whose health I knew nothing about to the hospital. I was left spending the rest of the afternoon (after burying my mother) desperately calling random vets trying to find one who would take patients during covid because the wait at blue pearl was 12 hours. The loyal pet who comforted my mother at the end of her life died in agony from a blockage because a girl at the front desk decided our pet didn’t matter. Do yourself a favor and take your animals someplace else where employees have compassion. Having a monthly plan won’t do you any good when your pet is actually sick and needs care.
Jill Glaspy: Very attentive to my big dog and I feel like he received a thorough exam!
Ebony Gunn: They Were Soooo KIND & CARINGI Couldn't Wait 2 Make Sure They Got Paid for Making My Furbaby Feel Better... Truly Recommend
Kim Cox: The people at this place are wonderful ! They make you feel like your dog is the only dog that they take care of when you're there . I have to say of all the veterinarians I've been to they're one of best !Have to mention a young lady that goes outta her way to make my Munkie dog feel special, her name is Madison , thank you for being YOU !!Kim Cox& Munkie Marie 😊
Kelsey Sparrow: Dr. Kaemmer and her team are amazing. They got my dog in for an emergency splenectomy with only a few hours notice, and Dr. Kaemmer did a great job with the surgery. I was very pleased with the entire experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend AMC to others.
Peggy S. Miller: Excellent they are the best for our pet's!
Dylan Trotter: They always take wonderful care of my dog Marley, even when he can be a bit difficult at times.
Tici Tassele: I just want to thank this entire team for the amazing experience with my 2 cats, I’m traveling internationally with them and Dr McMeans and her team are very organized and took care of all the steps and health certificates in one visit. She is an accredited vet to do that, and she was so graceful and gentle with them, as they needed exams, shots and deworming for traveling. I appreciate all of you guys’ hard work and care with my babies.
Latrice she Thompson: Overall I like but some staff members aren’t friendly.
Asa King: Very knowledgeable and passionate about caring for your furry friends.
Jamal Jenninga: Most of the staff is cool except for Mary. She is very rude
Maggie Rittermeyer: I want to say thank you to everyone here. Today I said goodbye to my little girl George. For almost 14 years they have taken care of her and such a wonderful job they did. Some of the doctors and staff came back, said goodbye, loved on her and that was so special. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this office.
Chris Carpenter: I have nothing but praise for Animal Medical Center. The two DVM's who treated our dog Carl were skilled, compassionate, and took the time at each visit to thoroughly examine him, to thoughtfully diagnose a serious issue, and (of enormous value) to explain and talk through some difficult issues with us. I also had occasion to board Carl there for a week, and that experience, too, was extraordinarily positive. As Carl's end neared, the DVM's made themselves available at all hours for advice and compassionate counsel. It meant so much, and aided us immeasurably in his fnal days. The staff, to a person, were also quite wonderful. And, their charges are more than reasonable. I give an unqualified and whole-hearted endorsement of Animal Medical Center.
Isabelle Ulloa: I’ve taken my pets to a lot of different clinics over the years but I can honestly say I’ve never trusted a clinic more than Animal Medical Center KC. Top tier care for both of my pets; they’re always on time, organized, and attentive. We’ve seen every Dr. at the clinic and each one is just as patient and knowledgable as the other. I can tell the entire staff really cares about their patients and clients too.. they always seem so excited to see & spend time with your pets. I recently moved further from the clinic but just can’t bring myself to look for a new one closer to home - they are worth the drive!
Crissy Peters: This is the best vet I have ever been to. I walked in, was greeted, and promptly sent to an exam room to wait for the vet tech and vet. Within 15 minutes the vet had tested a sample and got a diagnosis for my dogs ear infection and gave us options for treatment. We are enrolled in one of their annual plans and the price cannot be beat! I would recommend this vet 10/10!!!This vet also did my dogs dental cleaning, and the price and value of their dental annual plan is great! Scheduling is easy, staff is great!
Patrick Flaherty: Schedule a wellness check up for my pup a few days beforehand, we’re able to get us in without any issues. Exam went quick, showed compassion and concern for my dogs well bringing, and offered options for treatment.
Cheryl wyrick: Great vets
Amy Pepper: Love this place for my pet care! Friendly, accommodating, flexible, and genuinely invested in my pets' well-beings. Highly recommend!!!

Shoal Creek Animal Hospital: what do users think?
Subscription Boxes & More with Michelle: The staff was so sweet, understanding and caring. Our beloved kitty was terminally ill and had to be put to sleep. The doctor and staff were so supportive and made a terrible decision easier. I could not have asked for a better team of people. My pain was so great and they were there to support me through the whole process without making me feel rushed or anything...I highly recommend Shoal Creek Animal Hospital.
Karen DeLay: Dr Lindsey Perkins is such a great vet! She is so wonderful with our dogs. She is great at educating us on how to best care for them and you can tell that she really loves the animals that she cares for. I recommend her very highly!
Jennifer Smith: Amazing staff, so kind and gentle with my new puppy. Dr Perkins was great!! Actually sat and explained stuff to me, asked of I had any questions. I’m so glad I found this animal hospital as I just moved to the northland.I will definitely be bringing my pet back here for treatment.
Rachel Chiarelli: Very sweet, caring and knowledgeable.
Justin Metzger: Love Shoal Creek-all the doctors and technicians treat Bella like she’s apart of their family! The groomers are great as well and rest of the staff is very friendly!
Faye Verhoff: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueThis was my first time at Shoal Creek.I felt like they were very good with my pet.
Sarah Hobbs: I went to several groomers before coming here. No one could handle my little 10 lb guy. He wouldn’t hold still for anyone. The groomers here got it done!
Keyvan Salamat: Great staffProfessional behaviorWonderful Dr. Perkins who always diagnosis right and right and right
Melisa Loes: Super helpful and knowledgeable staff that truly cares for each animal they care for
Mary Rose Carolla: It's always clean and my dog loves doggie daycare. Julie is great for grooming.
Karen Rapp: Great place to take your pet!! Dr Wilkerson is the best! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Paul Alexander: Great place
Brent Mayberry: We were grateful Shoal Creek boards exotic pets. They took great care of our rabbits for a few days and went out of their way to be friendly and kind!
James Willett: Best groomer “Julie” we’ve found. Shoal Creek Animal Hospital retains high quality staff.
Kris Roberts: Their knowledge of diabetic animals and their treatment is very comforting. They keep me up to date on my cat's progress and check her regularly. I totally trust Shoal Creek Animal Hospital. Thank you!
Tanya Tessman: I am very disappointed with our service today. I took 2 of my dogs in. One was just a bath the other however was to be groomed. This wasn't the first time and I was satisfied previously and left a great review. This visit however, I was told at the appoint call "he would be done by 1," so I waited until 2 to check on him. I was told it would be an hour before they even get started on his grooming. I choose to pick them up. At the checkout when I questioned why I had drop off at 7a and he wasn't even done, I was told she had some aggressive dogs and he needed to dry longer(7 hours to dry) At most facilities you call the client to keep them informed because things happen but instead the groomer chose to argue with me and accuse me of lying about the time quoted on the phone. Very bad customer service, communication, and considerstion for a former client. I would not recommend their grooming services to anyone. I have been in veterinary medicine 20+ years and expect better from people in my profession.
John & Mary Pils: I trust their boarding services. I've used this service a couple of times. My dogs have come home happy and clean. The staff is patient, understanding and compassionate too.
Tamra Councilman: Such kind and thoughtful group! They were so good to my sweet Phoebe and to me. Dr. B was very professional, more importantly was emphatic, kind and respectful. Thank you all for the lovely card and Phoebe's paw prints. Made me smile and grateful for your care!
Steve Franklin: Call to get information about boarding and they direct me to the website to fill out a new patient form. Filled out the form never heard anything.
David Boyea: Good for long-term care, but not so great for emergencies.
Tabitha Fjoser: Shoal Creek's veterinary services, boarding, daycare, and grooming are all fantastic. Each employee is friendly, helpful, and thorough in their care of my two dogs.

KC Pet Project - Zona Rosa Adoption Center: what do users think?
Stephen Andrist: I love going there I want to adopt all the animals 🤣
Tom Hamilton: Brought home a puppy 😄
SamsGarageSale: Fantastic organization
Kelly Colwell: Great place for the price, clean, quiet and reasonable. Just off main strip, neighborhood was safe.
lords of ambrosia: had a fantastic experience the staff was extremely helpful and I got a furry best friend
Amber McCurry: The people here are amazing and animals are definitely well kept!
Toni: Long story short: we went in one day "to look" and we left with a cat 😅 We visited about three weeks to a month ago now. It was right after I had to put my 15 year old childhood cat down. I was sad and I wanted to look at cats. We hung around for over an hour (maybe closer to two or three. Bless those poor workers 😅 I know they were sick of us but were too nice to say) I didn't tell them why we were there, I couldn't speak it aloud but we played with some of the cats, and my boyfriend fell in love with a sweet little orange guy who we decided to name Gideon. 🧡It was tough having a new cat so soon after the last one, but I think he needed me as much as I did him. The silence hurt me more than his presence so for that, I thank KC Pet Project for putting up with my indecisive-ness and for being so good. Highly recommend. 💖 Enjoy the small spam 🧡
Alexis Smith: My boyfriend and I adopted our fur baby from here. Staff was amazing, greeted us at the door and when we had questions about dogs we were provided with background knowledge. We got to personally meet a couple of dogs in a private room, found our match and we are so happy with her ! thank you for our furrever friend
Just Sturgis: I love the KC Pet Project organization and what they do, but this particular location is not great. It's not very well kept and the staff there seemed sort of apathetic and somewhat disinterested in helping me resolve my problem.I say this with some degree of sadness as typically this organization is on top of things. By contrast, the KC Pet Project main location is extraordinary. It's extremely clean and organized and the staff at that location or wonderfully empathetic. Maybe Zona Rosa was having an off day? I hope so.
Angel Krattiger: I came in today with my two children (9yo) to adopt a puppy. Staff was kind and helpful, the facility was clean and organized, and we were on the way home within an hour with our new best friend! Thank you! (Tilly is now Mikasa or Mika for short)
April Al-Mahdawi: After going to several places to find a new kitty, I called KC Pet Project in Zona Rosa, and they told me they had a whole room of kitties to choose from! My children and I went and held several kittens, and one caught our eye. The process was easy, and the staff was friendly and were able to help with questions. We took him home that day, and he is an amazing cat!
John Montgomery: Helpful attendants knowledgeable about my problem. This place is easily accessible by bus or car. Offered to check a stary kitten which found( me ) for a micro chip.Lots of lonely dogs in clean cages looking bright eyed pick no pick me kind sir. Great place. Was given referral to Branch KC Pet project near the KC Zoo.
Chrystal Reaves: They Fostered & Found A new Home For Our Dog When We Weren't Able To Take Him With Us To Out New Place. KC Pet Project Is Amazing!!!
Dennis Claus: SORRY, But" ODER" in the Zona Rosa KC Pet Projects building was Terrible the Last two times I was in there. Also, the Last time I was there, there were 3 women Talking around the Desk Laughing and as I walked around and looked at the Dogs, Not one of them ask if they could HELP Me!Adopted 2 dogs from the Old store several years back and had No issues then.
Roy Stewart: Exceptional Volunteers
Judy Lewis: Service was great but the details that are left out. On the advertisement for the weekend of the holiday. That adoption was $22. And then you find out that when you adopt a puppy it's $300. That was a little rough take and because it was for the child that was with me. I couldn't say no it was for Christmas. I was a lot of money that I didn't expect to pay.
SOLIDUSK GOD'S LION: Great people, they take good care of the dogs!Excellent family experience 👏
Grant Fowler: A great bunch of dedicated staff. Please donate when you can, its worth it!
Lisa “Lisalu”: Donations to help with the animals we love. In memory of a Dear friend.
ron boone: Good people doing a great thing very clean very professional nice place
Meba Conway: They have so many pets there they were all so gorgeous I did find me one but he was very rambunctious off the hook but he was a great dog but I took him back for another one but it was a great experience that I can say in the staff is very friendly and very helpful thank you

Pet Resource Center of Kansas City: what do users think?
Dennis Moriarty: 20 years of experiencing humane, friendly and well organized staff and facilities..
luke davis: Great affordable services however made an 11am appointment and waited over an hour before they got to me.
Matt Rodriguez: They are such a great resource! That k you all for what you do!
Edna Walker: All of the workers are great, they are very patient and kind and very dedicated 😀 👍🏾
Brenda Bradford: Pet Resource came highly recommended when I decided to get my fur baby neutered and it didn't disappoint. They were absolutely wonderful and took excellent care of my fur baby. From checking in to picking up the experience was great. Keep up the excellent work and if you have the opportunity to donate to this facility, please do. They are worth every donated dollar!!
Sergio Gil: Excellent costumer service and home service the best thank you guy for your job and so nice staff 👍
Ryan Wiedmaier: Wow, what a wonderful experience. We needed to get our new dog spayed and our vet wanted a very large sum of money. PRC saved me hundreds and was super convenient with great customer service. We arrived and waited in the parking lot, in our car, to eventually hand our dog over to staff at 8:30am. Picked her back up at 11:30am the same way, having a staff member bring her right out to my car. She is healed up now with no complications. Definitely would recommend. Just wish they were a bit closer! 🙂 Thanks!
fnaf gamer: Always great care reasonable prices
Tina Murphy: It was very busy and I had to wait outside in my car. But they took really good care of my dog and did what I needed to get him back to health.
Pepsi Van Lerberg: I’m just glad they exist!
Rachel Pierce: Great service, they take good care of our cats. Streamlined drop off and pick up process. Good price, I wish the parking lot was bigger.
Zuiri G: Both my dogs have been there and good experience with both.
Arlen Burroughs: They mean well, but this clinic really needs to fix their structure and procedures for drive in appointments.I recently signed up for a 10:25 vaccination, showed up at 10:17, and waited for one hour until my dog was finally taken in. He was inside for less than 5 minutes.I understand running behind from time to time, but this isn't the first time this has happened. Being an hour behind at 10am is unacceptable and the number of appointments accepted needs reduced so customers can have a predictable visit. Not everyone can miss an extra hour of work because the vet took so long.
Kesha Parker: They made the transition between and the old owner seamless and took care of my Coco Chanel.. which made baby comfortable.. thanks you guys ROCK!!!
Nancy Lamb: Exceptional service and care for our fur baby who was spayed recently. Every detail in the process was perfectly executed. And the price was affordable and reasonable. We are so thankful to have found you.
Phyllis Solito: They are excellent and affordabl e at animal healthcare
Yasmeen Jasim: Very nice and friendly. Prices are reasonable and fair
Therese Sullivan: Good experience with Pet Resource. I took my little girl to be spayed. Everything went smoothly, quickly and efficiently. Will definitely use Pet Resource again and recommend it to friends and family.
Christina “Brosch” Walters: This place was AMAZING!!We had our pup spayed there recently. There was a slight delay waiting for the staff to come outside to greet their patients, but it was so well organized (OCD happy place). And the staff was so kind, informative and gentle. My sweet pup was treated so well and if we ever get another pet they will be where we go!! Keep up the good work, PRC!!
Ericka Smith: The process was easy, this was my first time, but not the last, when I arrived I kinda freaked out because of the amount of people already there, but the way they check in your animal is, they call you, questions and answers, payment and a few minutes later, maybe longer on other days, I'm not sure, but they come get your pet and text when your pet is ready. And they offer alot for the affordable price! Thank you PRC of KC.
Kayla Leigh: Great place for you pet. Great resources available, friendly staff and great pricing!

Jaime Juarez: Great experience. Doctor was knowledgeable and explained things thoroughly. The nurses were great also. My dogs rash began to improve the next day. Prices are a little higher than I’ve experienced but as with most things, you get what you pay for. Excellent care will always cost more. Staff even recommended to bring my dog by for treats whenever I wanted to acclimate him to the environment.Highly recommend.
John Erickson: You feel like family here. I have nothing but GREAT things to report about Plaza Animal Clinic. Great vet, great groomer!
Chris H: My senior dog had gastroenteritis and there were no appointments available. However, I was able to take her in and they worked her in for tests and treatment. I dropped off a very sick girl and they kept her most of the day. It wasn’t cheap, but 4 days later my dog was back to normal. So grateful!!
Tyler King (Tyler Dean King): Visits are usually super fast which is great, and the staff are always excited to see our dog which feels great
Clifford Blodgett: We take our dogs and soon our cats there. Wish they would fix the online appointment portal.
Yolanda Foltz: Amazing staff who truly care for the animals and their owners. I would not think of taking my pets any where else. We know our pets are always getting the best care possible.
Tim Huan: I usually do not leave 5 stars for businesses on Google review but I’d like to rate this one 5 star. Max has been seen at Plaza Animal Clinic for over a year now. We trust the vet and staff here. To be honest, bill is higher compared to other locations but because of the location is in midtown near by Plaza and rent must be higher compared to other locations. Besides, Max always gets the best service of care here. The vet explained things with detail and clear guidance. They do explain the cost with us before we proceed with any test or products. I like this place. Thanks for taking care of Max.
Jamal Walker: He s just to busy
Rebecca Gamber: Very disappointed with communication and service provided. Never spoke to the Doctor or was explained what happened to my pet until a week later. Had no problem taking over $2000 for less than 12hrs of care and a link to buy specialized food of their choice. My pet ended up in a hospital and surgery. That didn't cost as much as I paid here for a common, simple obstruction that wasn't diagnosed or discussed with us.
Alley Rodriguez: Paloma always gets excellent treatment from all staff they are caring and very nice and happy to help her and the doctor explains everything so well with great detail that me and her dad understand. Her earache is gone the medicine and you guys helped us so much can't thank you enough. Alley Margarito and Paloma Rodriguez.
Joe Giammanco: Plaza does a great job in balancing service and cost. Recommend highly.
Carine Vier: Multiple bad grooming experiences and overpriced basic services.
Rick Wolverton: Dr Twigg is not only a great Vet, but an even better human. He came to our home to help us see Grizzy off to doggie heaven with such care, grace, and dignity! Truly amazing!!!
Dennis Howell: Several years ago Mary Mountain sold the business to a new group. Sadly they do not give the loving care that Mary did. I was a customer of Plaza Animal even before Merry mountain came to that location. The newest group seems to want to run every test to run up your bill as much as possible. I left the organization a year ago and I found new care but I was moved to make this review after reading an article on Nextdoor, there was comment after comment after comment in the article about how many unhappy clients have left Plaza Animal, I think this needs to be heard .
Sarah Page: I was so nervous when I was trying to find a vet to get my brother's dog in last minute, but the front desk lady (I'm so sorry I don't remember her name!!) was so kind and understanding and helped to get us in. I never leave reviews places, but I was absolutely thrilled with the service we received here. Thank you to all the staff that helped with Iroh's visit today!!
maria munoz: Friendly staff. Plus they are flexible try to schedule you same day walking appointment.
Martha Exposito: I MARTHA EXPOSITO , GIVE PLAZA ANIMAL CLINIC, 5 BIG GOLD STARS, THEY TOOK REAL GOOD CARE OF MY DOG MICKEY MOUSE. THANK-YOU, SO MUCH TO EVERONE THERE.
jennie chapin: The staff is so wonderful and friendly. You can tell that they have a genuine love for all animals. When given meds for my cats. They took the time to go over how to administer until I felt confident that I could do it myself. I really appreciated that.
Lulu Short: Reliable and professional but services on the pricey side.
Kim Rupniewski: Friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable...the whole staff was great! Even through the Covid regulations, made us feel welcome and important. All my animals have had great care from the vets and vet techs. Thank you!
Malorie Pitchford: Positive:Professionalism,ReliabilityAlways pleased with the care of my pet; staff feels like family! Highly recommend!

KC Pet Project at KCCAC: what do users think?
Teresa Dollison: everyone was very nice and would come in and check on you and your pet I thank everyone for being very welcome there
Larissa Mitchell: I absolutely recommend getting a pet from KC Pet Project. Staff is very helpful in making sure you go home with the perfect dog that will fit both your and the pet's needs.
charles Williams: Very caring people!
Chase Coleman: My cats had ran away, and one died and these people did nothing. I had left a previous review but I took it down because I see others on here are kinda making the message clear.I had posted a different review not to long ago in regards to a kitty that I had got that passed away over night within 24 hours of bringing it home. I took it down because I was so heart broken over having problems. But now I will say, while I was at this place, I witnessed 3 cats puking in their kennels. I even said something to a employee about one of the cats. And she acted like it was okay.Discrimination happens here alot. Be awareThey use tax dollars to pay laura vahn to come to your house and harass you when you are disabled. They don't want to help solve problems. As you can see they would rather cause issues then try to fix them..This shelter also kills animals
Cody Calhoun: I can't praise this place enough. We just adopted a dog from here this week and it was such a positive experience. The staff was SO KNOWLEDGEABLE and PATIENT. We met with a couple dogs and never felt rushed. When they supervised our dog to dog meeting they were extremely vigilant and ensured the safety of our current dogs. I wish I remembered the names of all the staff that helped my GF and I out because they were all amazing! Facilities were very clean and it seems like they really do there best to understand each dog's behavior and personality before adopting them out.
Corrin H: I brought in a sick and injured cat who had been living outside. Tiger at KC Pet Project welcomed us in and helped us through the process. They were so kind and compassionate, and explained everything thoroughly. Thank you KC Pet Project and Tiger for providing care to the animals that need it most.
Avada Reducto: Zero stars. We went after hearing they needed cats adopted. Got there and was very uncomfortable place to begin with. Now we have to say what pronouns we want or we can’t check in. Then after 20 mins of watching everyone sitting down/ eating/play fighting we left. No one was working or helping anyone that was there. Guess they really didn’t need to get cats adopted out cause no one would get up off their phones and help anyone.
Lesa Osgood: Very nice new facility. Good dog play areas. The cat rooms are clean and there was a volunteer there petting the cats when I was there today.I am sad that the facility is over full.
Mitch Nettles: Horrible experience. Spent 3 hours here and only saw 2 dogs. They don't let you see the dogs you want to see and steer you to the dogs they want you to see. You should be allowed to go pen by pen and watch the dogs and see the ones you want a meet and greet with. They bring them out one by one or tell you "this one is not a fit for you". How do they know how a dog will do in a totally new and different environment. I wanted to see 8 dogs but they said 5 were not a good match. Let me pick my own dog!!!
Jay Mexico8: Really great.
shannon beebe: Took a Very long time to even see a cat and you have to fill out stuff before you even get to look. You better figure out if you are a she it or a there there or he her, thats a question, No more Mr. & Mrs. Disgusting i say. Anyway Most animals are in foster homes so they won't be there. That is a good thing though.
William Fruits: Won't do their job.
Emily HV: I Had Brought A Dog That I found on the streets & After a week and months, I kept calling to check up on him & they always tell me they CANNOT give me any information. DOES IT EVEN MAKES SENSE ? I'll definitely give this place 0 STARS if I could. I literally gave my information out when I filled out the paper form & also had verified the Info as well. I AM THE FOUNDER AND THE ONE WHO BROUGHT HIM TO THIS PLACE & They can't even tell me How he is doing or tell me what had happened to the dog. COME ON. DO NOT BRING ANY TYPE OF PET TO THIS place. They probably KILL THEM and make you think they're taking care of them. That's why they didn't want to tell me because they probably KILLED HIM.
Christine James: Went in today to see one of the dogs, had to go home and get my pups for a required meet and greet to proceed. While I was driving from KCPP to my home and then immediately back to the facility the dog was adopted out to someone else. Just to be clear, I had conversations about next steps, was gone no more than one hour (Had to drive 20 minutes away to my home) and no consideration was given to the efforts I was taking. The first come, first served policy is destructive. Perhaps let people sign a form stating they will be back and charge their credit card if they do NOT return. I am unlikely to try to adopt through KCPP after this experience.
Ira Kullot: My girlfriend and I waited over an hour and a half to see the cats. We support kc pet project and everything they do. That said, there needs to be some accountability. It was very frustrating having to wait that long. The people at the front desk said since they're not on the feline team there's nothing they can do. If others have this experience it significantly reduces the opportunity of the cats getting adopted. Please improve your visitation processes.
laura greenspan: What a beautiful building! Staff is amazing the building is set up in a way for the animals to thrive and given the best quality care! Shout out to Bria for an amazing tour of this amazing place!
Ricardo Vargas: I am currently at the admissions center at KCCAC, and I would like to raise recognition to Derek, who just demonstrated high morals, professional ethics, humanity, and high respect for pet owner rights. Two women walked in with a dog that they apparently found on the streets. One of the girls behind the counter scanned him and found a microchip on him. They pulled up the owner's information, and Derek politely informed the women about the right procedure:1. Notify owner2. Wait for the owner to claim their pet3. If unclaimed, pay the adoption fee4. Take ownership of petThe women became upset that they had to pay for a dog they had found and clearly stated they could have kept him. Derek repeated how the process works and stated once more that the dog has an owner and they have a right to recover their pet. After having to repeat himself several times, he told them how they wouldn't like someone taking their dog.The two women walked out with the dog in tow, and Derek promptly followed them gathered necessary information so they could notify the owner and involve the authorities.I hope he sets an example to all staff here at KCCAC, as he clearly reflects the values that a place like this should uphold. Be proud to have someone like him working for pet and pet owner rights.
I Am Remnant: Definitely doesn’t care too much about animals as far as I can see. Disappointed. I called and called only to get transferred to different departments until I finally got to someone. I found a mother cat with eight kittens. I can tell she just had them. Because the blood and other things that come with giving birth. I was told that they couldn’t help. The mother looks like she may have been attacked by a dog. She has a hole in her body. And seems like she can’t see very well. It breaks my heart because I don’t know how she is going to be able to watch over her babies being in that condition. She turns her head a certain way oddly so I am really concerned. I can’t take her in but my daughter goes out to try to feed her and give her water and put a box out there with training pads that we use for our dog in a box. She has to pick the mama cat up and then the babies out the pads in there and the animals back in there. It’s really sad because she doesn’t seem to be functioning correctly. And these pet places don’t seem to help at all.
Brody Nick: I came to adopt a kitten for my girlfriend as a kind gesture! she was so happy to have a new kitty in her home & i think her little home was finally complete! a day later the cat is constantly vomiting bile & won’t eat drink or anything! we took her back to see if they could do a check up they said “there’s definitely something obstructing her bowles!” so we were going to do surguery after we found out this would be thousands of dollars for a cat we just got we thought kcpp would help! no they did everything to make sure this cat didn’t come back to me! they made sure to not take blame for anything so now the kitty was stripped from our home & im not allowed to get her back after weeks of them not helping me & making me feel at fault for this poor kitten i just adopted! ill never refer this place never will be here again & i feel for the MANY other family’s this has happened too!
Nicole Ten Napel: Adopted my 3-legged friend from kc pet project. It was clear he got the best medical care there and the adoption process was easy and painless. The staff is always friendly and willing to chat!
Amanda Schroeder: I adopted my two adorable cat roommates here, and now I go volunteer to contribute where I can spending time with the shelter animals.
