Phillip Stehman: My truck was rear ended and I needed a body shop I could trust. It had been years since I needed body work done. I searched Google, and Venus was rated tops in the city. I would agree! They did a great job! They handled everything with courtesy and professionalism. They completed the work in the time they said they would. And when a part for my tailgate was delayed due to back order, they released the truck to me so I could drive it until the part arrived, saving me four extra days of rental car expenses. Miguel Rivera Caban: I got what I needed, hope it lasts for a long time. They quoted good compared to someone I found in Facebook Marketplace without Yelp reviews or anything. This marketplace fellow stopped responding as soon as I asked about the materials (The little car paint is original and the least I need is peeling on the fresh paint) and even then the quote this person provided was around the same as Venus when you equate in the good materials.The SUV has been done around 8 months and the paint job has held good even after automatic carwashes.

Brock: 5 stars is simply not enough for Venus! I hit a pothole on the freeway that completely destroyed my tire. I was driving cross country, so for me this was a crisis. I stopped into Venus completely desperate, and they seemingly dropped what they were doing to help me. They replaced two of my tires on the spot and I could not be more grateful. Steven Gilburne: Needed to get some work done on my car.It was nearly impossible to get a response via email, so I took my car to Tanners myself.The guy at the front walked out to my car, looked at it, and said it would be about 30 mins for an estimate.I never got an email or call back. Nobody ever picks up the phone.I’m sure tanners may do decent work, but in terms of communication, it’s non existent. I had to TRY to spend my money there and nobody would take it!
Nick Vella: Had high hopes for this place from what I heard from others. Brought truck down for estimate, had good but quick discussion with guy, and exchanged emails. They said they would follow up, but after a week or so no reply. So I emailed a detailed follow up and waited I believe another week or so. No reply. Called down and spoke to a guy who said they would send email estimates within a day or so. .and nothing. Been over a month with no follow up. I get people are busy and maybe short staffed, but if thats the case let me know. Pretty disappointing to not at least reply back in some way.

Christiana Rangel: I’ve used KC Colors twice now. Once in 2019 and once in 2023. Both situations due to a car backing into my bumper and back driver side door respectively. I was referred to KC Colors. Their work is amazing, and I will choose them every time.They did have a bit of a wait to get in, and then I had to wait an additional two months for my car’s parts to come in but I understand that is out of their hands. Nathan Jones: Took my car here for an estimate. The receptionist was rude to me, yet took the shirt off her back for the older dude that came in behind me. Same with the estimator. Besides treating the younger crowd terrible, the estimator had a poor knowledge of what needed to be replaced. "yeah looks good to me" are you sure? I can visibly see that major bracket is broken beyond repair and needs to be replaced. In the end I did not entrust these people with my vehicle.

Ryan Holdeman: Tried to email with a question and pictures of the work I needed done but the email address wasn't valid. I called to verify the address and the woman I spoke with said just come on in. So I did. I need a front bumper replaced on my 2001 acura cl type s. After filling out a redundant form, I walked outside with an estimator. We didn't even get to my car before he basically stopped and said, "we are busy all the way til February." Thanks for wasting my time.

In a world full of large, corporately owned companies, It’s nice that they are a family owned company with many of their family members working there to add to the great vibe they have there. The thing that stands out the most besides their great work end service is their honesty. They gave me an estimate that was hundreds of dollars higher than the final cost so they gave me a large reduction from the estimate, even though I had already agreed to pay the estimated price and they could have easily just pocketed the extra money. Michael Luke: It took 2 months for them to fix my car and were very bad at responding back to my calls/text in a timely fashion. They seemed overwhelmed, highly unorganized and were walking around in circles giving me misleading updates about my car. While I’m glad my car got fixed. It was not worth it to go through all of the mishaps of a disfuncional body shop. They sold me a deal where if I found parts to the car then the service would be cheaper. I ended up getting the wrong parts, had to send them back and ended up loosing extra money. I thought that since these guys paint for a business nationwide, that I would at least get a decent paint job. My truck looks like two different paint jobs on the same truck! Highly buffed areas are cracking and other areas not buffed. They forgot to put the antenna back on, they painted the tailgate lock! What a horrible experience and their response to these feedbacks are automated and go dierctly back to the people who did the shabby work. Carl McKinney, Jr.: First paint job completed in 2 weeks with several bad spots. Told to come back in 3 weeks for corrections to be completed. Did so. They kept my truck for additional 2 months with excuses after excuses for why they couldn't get it done. Told it's being sanded and waiting on paint. A month later went to check on it and it was still untouched, not even sanded. After multiple calls I decided to just go get my truck and was told it's in paint line. I understand they have to make money but I paid without quibble and they kept putting me at the back of the line. After threatening to take it and sue, they completed it the next week, with some blemishes uncorrected. I expected better from Maaco!Service:Painting

S Knoll: I knew these most (if not all) of these reviews where family and friends of the workers there... Don't be fooled by the reviews.... Stacy posted 5 times, Sherrin posted, Felix etc....... Sherrin laughed when I said something about them drinking in the morning and said they go through 4 to 5 cases of beer a day (on my 3rd visit)....Retained them to replace hydraulics for my hood, rear hatch, and rear window, also to realign my rear hatch... I was going out of townfor 13 days, so after paying them the agreed upon price (Yeah I know stupid, and in cash!) I left. Upon my coming back to K.C I contacted Sherin to see if my SUV was ready, she said yes I could pick it up that night. Decided to wait until the next day. When I did, I noticed my battery wasn't in the car anymore, the hydraulics on the hood had not been replaced, as well as one hydraulic on the rear window.... I had bought the hydrologic lifts before I left, and all they had to do was put them on!!! He did fix my rear window hinge and rear hatch with a bolt.... On the rear hatch alignment I was told that a guy named Miguel would be there later that day ,and I could bring the car back the next day... It's a 35 minute drive one way for me I called the next day to make sure the hinge arrivedr , no answer, I called every day for the next two weeks, left numerous messages..... My opinion is this is a front for something......UPDATE: Sharin posted a response that was pure b.s. She was there when I picked up my SUV.... She knew.... I called the new # she has... I requested half of my money paid back, she said no but when I come back to town (6-9 months) bring it in and they'll fix what wasn't done.... We'll see... Another update on the future..... Be wary.....

Jesse Elliott: Was amazed at the quality of service I found at this little hole in the wall shop. Shireen was very knowledgeable and helpful in determining the best way forward with repairs after my accident. I had gone to 2 other shops and searched countless others and only one other could find the right parts and for my old 76 Ford ranger. Found the bumper and and fenders for 150 dollars less than the only other shop with the expertise on older trucks that could even order them. They kept me updated every step of the way, really treated me like family. And my truck was ready the same day parts came in, despite their backlog for repairs!I was so impressed I had them work on my niece's honda right after she got it for her birthday last year. They fixed body and paint flaws and mechanical issues I didn't even notice when I checked it out even though they don't usually do engine work. And just for sng I got a quote from gnc afterwards since they were so highly recommended, and they even admitted Fidel and shireen at flg could do it cheaper.10/10 would go back. Robert Gearon: Very helpful looking for sanding padAnd sunmight sanding disks.Odd grits for woodworking but they work. Sunmight sanding disk are plastic backed unlike a paper backed disk they dont tear. Last longer and you can wash them for extended use if its just wood your sanding, you might be able to do the same with some body repair products as well. This saves you money.
