Shaun Tanner: This place is amazing. My wife and I ate here for the first time and will be back. We’d rather eat here then Eddie V’s or any of the fancy seafood places. Celeste: Jarocho has an excellent Mexican inspired seafood selection of food. We had a large group enjoy lunch here. Many of us got the same items, the whole Pompano fish and the Chipotle Shrimp being most popular. We also had a few appetizers. Many of us had cocktails. The drinks and food were all great. The staff went above and beyond and we stayed quite a while and had a great time. There is a parking lot in the back, but to access it you have to go around the block because of a one-way street.

Chris Reyes: One of our favorite places. The food is consistently good here. The bar tenders make the best drinks. The bacon wrapped shrimp is a must. Outdoor seating is a must when its nice out. Large area outside to gather. The owners are there quite a bit to make sure the experience is personal. We usually get the steaks a salad and drinks. The carrot cake is our favorite for dessert.
Annette Berry: Went for date night and really enjoyed our dining experience. We started at the bar for re meal drinks. JJs has a great variety to choose from, and the bartender was knowledgeable and attentive. Then we moved outside for dinner. The food and service were generally great. My date didn't like his swordfish, and my carrot cake was dry and tasted like a bad grocery store version. Otherwise, the food was delicious. The ambiance must be mentioned cause it was so nice and added to the success of evening. I definitely recommend JJs for date night!

nurys nunez: The chicken arepa was amazing. I also bought the chicken empanada which was ok. Not worth 6 dollars though. It also sucks that you have to pay for parking. 7 dollars for 30 minutes is crazy. Will probably go back but have someone stay in the car to not have to pay for parking. Also they close at 6 pm Monday through Friday not 4 pm how it states in Google.

I ended up not finishing it and my husband ate it only because he didn’t want to throw out food we paid for. It also didn’t have a crisp texture.They gave us sauces that weren’t so bad. But they were so sticky it was a huge turn off.

Adam Murray: A bit too pricey and chips and salsa were not included for free like every other Mexican restaurant I’ve been to. You had to pay extra to get chip refills after your second bowl of chips which seemed a little cheap and there were no rice and beans included on a 14 dollar entree. Food was fine but just seemed like a pricey Jose peppers with a hipster spin on it and less amenities that other Mexican food restaurants always offer at least here in the Midwest.
