Orthopedic Health of Kansas City formerly Drisko, Fee & Parkins ( DFP ) - North Kansas City: what do users think?
Casey Donahue: Was referred here by my primary care physician for a knee injury. After two visits, they still have not requested the MRI I was sent here for. Charging me for x rays that I had already had done and providing zero guidance on how to treat my injury. I would suggest finding a place that will listen to their patients needs, urgent care was more helpful in an hour than this place has been over the course of two visits.
Joseph Littich: I showed up willing to work and figure out a diagnosis. Absolute minimal effort on their part.
Jennifer Ferson: My 6yo daughter had a fracture in her elbow. We got in quickly on a Friday early evening. Kyle and NP Alison were wonderful. She was not scared at all. They put a splint on her and now we're waiting next steps. Great experience for my little one. Thank you.
Matt Davidson: Ty Dr. Hedgecock for making me better again. Nice cuts... 👍
Kendra Van: Don't even try. They never answer the phone. Worst place ever. They take days to call back. I would find somewhere else.
Jeffery Sryniawski: Absolutely terrible experience with the FMLA ans STD coordinator. They never call back. They dont do their job. They took my $70 for paperwork processing fees to not do the paperwork. Now im on my last day of my fmla/std form to be submitted. Their voicemail says they will call back in a day or two. I called 3 weeks ago and never got a call back. Ive called multiple time. Ive email. This office is a joke dont waste your time or money.
MurphmishForever.v.3.01 MurphmishForever.v.3.01: Because he also works here. Enjoy.Don't expect to be listened to if you are a Workman's Comp patient.Anything for a dollar regardless of the outcome. Huh Doc?Office staff fumble the easiest of things. And as I will say now only to repeat later, thank you so much to this entire team for being so derelict you honestly begin to wonder in hindsight how you got to where you are one full year later. No better. In fact damaged from missing life and a surgery that failed.I want to say a special thank you from a real person.A former patient.Without you I don't know where I would be.Maybe walking? A jog? No....For those that take time to read please notice the disparity between the reviews of the entirety of the clinic and this particular clinicians.INVESTIGATE.All ratings are not commiserate with the other ratings. Or in other words, there are some real average doctors dragging down what would otherwise be a clinic with a higher rating. Results May Vary. Buyer beware.
Akirah Miyamura: Called over the phone and as nice as the staff was, they refused me treatment for being a homeless youth. I have a torn rotator cuff in need of an immediate orthopedic assistant and I have a guardian willing to present ID, and have paperwork saying I have the authority to make medical decisions for myself. They are following a policy that refuses to treat kids in desperate need and if it and refuse to even TALK about making an exception. It's immoral practices to turn away someone for not having an ID when they're still a minor. Despite me, repeatedly, saying I have a guardian who WILL present an ID they require that *I* have an ID as well, even though there is a guardian there. The staff is fine but morality and ethics are poor.
Dawn Martin: I would give 0 stars if I could. I cannot speak for the doctors because I never made it back to the doctors. At first I went to the urgent care, and no issue. They had me get an MRI. I did that, and was never contacted about the MRI. After a week I called the nurses like, and no one returned my call. Two days after I called the nurses line I called the front desk. They said that they never received my MRI reports and that I would be called by the end of business that day. I wasn’t called until the next day. I tried to let it slide.I came in for my follow up appointment. The woman who helped me at the front desk was so rude to me, I was literally speechless. My injury was related to workers comp. I was not aware of needing pre approval, so I came in with the paperwork from my adjuster. The woman at the front desk spoke about me on the phone loudly. Then she called me back up and said I no longer could have my appointment until I am pre-approved. I explained to her that I took off work, no one explained that to me, and that the doctor is only in their office once a month. She then asked me to step out of line so she could continue helping other people check in. She wouldn’t make eye contact, and could have cared less at all. I have never been treated so poorly. I would never go there now.
Patrick Miller: I had surgery on March 31 on my femur on March 31. After not being able to bend my knee after surgery I just kept being told that the bend will come or they can fix that with a second surgery. The second surgery has done nothing but cause more discomfort and lack of trust in all of these Doctors. The Nurses I have felt with have been super nice and helpful. When asked about the bruise I have now had on the back of my knee since July I was told “that’s interesting” then sent on my way. I’m beyond fed up and hope to find someone definitely not here though that can at least give me answers as to what’s going on.
Robert Miller: I wish I could do a split review. The Dr that did my surgery was great! Dr Jakoi.Unless he has something to do with billing I don’t have an issue with him. I had 3 post op visits to their office. The very first one they told me I had to pay my $40 co-pay.I said I don’t think so this is a post op visit. They didn’t ask on the second or third. But I received a bill for the third one later in the mail. I called and they said it’s been more than 90 days, you get charged for an office visit. I argued my point but they disagree. I only went to the visit because it was a follow up visit. I felt completely fine. Didn’t need to go other than the Dr had said I need to see you one more time and we’ll be done. Some Orthapedic issues take longer than 90 days to heal! I will go elsewhere for any other Orthapedic needs because of this billing practice!
Kris Williams: They provide decent care. The reason I am rating them so low is due to the iPad patient form system they use, it is absolute garbage. I've been a software developer for 25+ years and I would be ashamed to put code like that in a production environment. For me, it didn't save my address, for another patient it didn't save his list of medications, and for a third it wouldn't accept her name. I could tell the receptionist had heard about issues way too many times. Finally entering your entire medical history on an iPad is an issue for many, especially older patients.I then tried to provide feedback through their website, but the contact web app would not send my email.
Charmayne Robertson: I was impressed with how quickly I was seen. I wish there had been a couple questions I could have asked before leaving. You know, you think of them as soon as Dr leaves. Also would be nice to have a card or something with the Dr name as I can’t remember who I saw. It was a female, maybe a Sarah??
Matthew Fetters: After months of not knowing what my injury was Dr Jeffrey Bradley figured out that I had a rare break in my wrist he is the most professional awesome surgeon I have ever met and I am grateful that he is letting me get a part of my life back thank you so much Dr Jeffrey Bradley for helping me for believing me and most important for fixing me I highly recommend this place and if you have a wrist injury Dr Bradley is your man
Stephanie Hutson: This is the worst place ever especially Dr. Roberts. All he cares about doing is cutting he doesn't care if your injury is healing or not. My gut told me to go get a second opinion and I am so thankful I did. My new doctor stated there should have never been anything said about amputation because I have a good working foot. Dr. Roberts did no after surgery X-rays or anything to see if everything was healing. He just said my foot would need to be cut off. Please DO NOT go to this office hate to see people loose body parts for no reason.
Scott Wilmes: Appointment went fine but good luck getting someone on the phone or returning your call. I finally gave up after 30 minutes on hold just assuming that nobody was actually there and just left their phones on to waste my day.
Brooke Kunkel: Thank you Katie for going above & beyond to help me in my time of need!
Michele Yankee: What an incredible caring medical team! Huge thank you to Sarah and her excellent customer service for her patience and kindness when answering my one million insurance questions and to Summer who examined my daughter last night! Top notch orthopedic care team!!!
Linda Moreland: My husband got quick treatment, too bad I can’t say anything about their billing department. We paid our bill, insurance paid only for us to get an additional bill. This is not an organized clinic and I would not In good conscience refer anyone to it.
Jon Bidwell: Dr. Jakoi and his staff at Orthopedic Health KC are incredibly unethical individuals. The doctor refused to even have a consultation with me because I didn’t have x-rays to provide them with. I was not informed x-rays were required when I made the appointment. I didn’t have time for new x-rays and simply asked if I could speak with the doctor or come back for them. I was told the doctor refuses to see me. I provided them with an MRI taken less than two weeks ago, and they failed to have these images on-hand for examination at my appointment even though I arranged their transfer weeks earlier. So they instead wanted me to get x-rays, with them, on the spot, for a verbal consult. Dr. Jakoi’s nurse told me, flat out, “You will have to leave and schedule another appointment for your cervical spine.” Funny thing is, I wasn’t in the office for a cervical spine issue, which is yet another factor that doesn’t exactly lend a lot of confidence to the professionalism of this medical office. Regardless, I did call to do that from the parking lot immediately because I’m in a great deal of pain, and the receptionist told me the next appointment was in September. It’s March. I asked if there was anything they could do to make an exception. They said Samantha the office manager would call me. Still waiting. Samantha? Dr. Jakoi? Nope, no one cares. Dr. Jakoi and Orthopedic Health KC are substandard medical practitioners in every sense of the word substandard. If you want to arrive in pain, and leave stressed, unseen, unhelped and unrecognized as a patient… this is the orthopedist for you.
Bryan Forbes: Very attentive staff, doctors listen to you, quick to respond to questions and concerns. Fixes the problems and explains procedures in a manner that you can understand. Over all great experience.

Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute: what do users think?
Mike Joyce: The care I received at KCOI was top notch. Couldn't ask for any better. The staff was very attentive and my Carpal Tunnel surgery went without a hitch.
Joan Delahunt: Valerie was kind and explained allege steps to help me feel comfortable.
C McCartney: It's truly amazing how this institution has fallen in two years. After my first knee replacement I thought highly of KCOI. Today, after having the second knee replaced, flying in from Florida and then driving a hundred mile trip to KCOI to wait over a hour. Enough! Three times waiting over a hour for a 5 minute consultation. Usually with a PA. Sorry, the GOD act is playing thin KCOI. Hopefully others will not be exposed to such disrespect after reading this review. There are other Orthopaedic institutes that value patients for more than the dollar sign on their forehead.
John Murray: Very quick in/out & friendly
James Wright: Staff members were professional and yet very friendly. Results of procedure has been great. Doctor, staff and facilities were excellent!
Sharon Morse: Minimal wait,Friendly, caring staff who are professional, efficient, & competent making you feel good about being there
RDEvans619: Excellent service! Quick, professional, and the staff made the whole process very comfortable
Clarence White: The staff was very helpful
Kathy Libby: No long wait, friendly and helpful staff. This appointment was for my MRI but would include the physicians I have seen a long with the other staff I have had contact with.
Diann Hurt: Valerie was the person in charge of my MRI and she was just great.
Summer McKeighan: My mismanagement of my care was almost neglectful from the nurse who was condescending and minimized my pain, to a doctor who spent approximately 4 minutes with me, add in a the fact that I was repeatedly lied to about an injection, told that they could do it without my insurance sign off, only to forgo any other options in order to be there for the injection and then told no last minute that they could not proceed unless it was signed off on. I was then gaslighted over the whole experience that there was simply a miscommunication of which there was not and then directed to seek care elsewhere. Repeatedly bounced around to different people over the span of weeks all while in excruciating pain and forced to go to the emergency room at a real hospital to seek help. It’s now 6 weeks out in pain and no one has offered any assistance.Absolutely unacceptable and as this was not my first negative experience trying to receive care, I will be going elsewhere and encourage everyone else to do the same.
Dennis Doyle: Very professional and prompt.
Dan Bryson: I found it very professional in every way.
Vanessa Guess: I think the staff here are excellent. They explained all about the surgery, the meds that will be given, the drs who will be performing the surgery, after care etc...This is the place to come and get your bones fixed.
Donnie McClurg: The procedure was fast and worked great.
maria arellano: Do not rush on paper work.
Indi Watson-Bess: Everyone was caring and.nice. i appreciate the time and patience that was shown to me. Every employee deserves an atta boy/girl for the wonderful customer service provided.
Leigh Ann Cleaver: Easy check-in process. Short wait prior to starting procedure. Everyone was very comforting and explained process throughout. Water & snacks available in waiting room too.
C Yang: Debating for a review, but everywhere ask for a feedback regardless if it’s good or bad.So here I am after a month deciding if I should or not but I am. I would like to speak up what a great company to work for but the discrimination and harassment I received and to look at the position I held during my time of employment was a turn over every 6 months. Then you wonder why?In no way shape should anyone feel uncomfortable. Then you file the complaint and get retaliated and gets more uncomfortable. Then you think trusting the department you go to would keep it confidential. Anything you say gets repeated and you feel you can’t trust anyone.I truly hope KCOI find better management and professional leadership. I’ll keep the names confidential.
Barry Ballenger: Very through in the care I am receiving. Thanks for all you do.
Celeste Gant: They value your time, are professional, informative, and very courteous. Very good experience.

Apex Orthopedics & Sports Medicine - Kansas City: what do users think?
Kristina Handley: Very efficient. Broke my foot on a holiday weekend. Called on Tues and got an appointment on Wednesday. Surgery was first thing Friday morning at KCOI. Dr Kneidel was great, as was everyone I encountered in the whole process. Extremely efficient, competent, compassionate and knowledgeable! I love they have specialist in each area, so you know you’re getting someone specializing in your issue.
Sandy Carnahan: The staff and Drs and nurses are very kind and welcoming. I have one major complaint in that I did not see Dr. Deardorf but instead saw ,Kim, Dr.s Physician Assistant. She was very nice but made sure to tell me there would be no prescription for pain medication!! My wrist is broken and hurts like hell! I am 70 years old, a nice lady and need something for this pain!! I am not a Junkie or a Pill Popper or a drug addict and I don't like being treated as one. Needless to say after I have this cast removed after another 4 weeks, I will never again use KC Orthopedics!!
Ken Flappan: Had complete shoulder replacement in December 2019. It is still panful. It was a failed surgery. If I want to pay for it they will work on it again. Cannot play golf. 4 years later still bad and had hip replacement that really failed. In fact I had to have a second surgey due to internal bleeding. Their billing me for part of it again despite our conversation about my out of pocket.
Sam “IcyS”: Dr. Sisk is a LIAR. Lied straight to my face, telling me that I would have a follow up appointment after a FCE(physical evaluation) and we would talk further options because I'm still very much injured. After, He signed me off to go back to work like nothing happened and I'm 100% healthy... Why would he lie like that? I couldn't even complete the FCE because of the pain I was in. I was bedridden for 2 weeks after not able to sleep, drive, barely walked. It was terrible and I'm still recovering and now he wont even talk to me after reaching out multiple times.I have a lower back injury that is causing a ton of sciatic pain in my right hip/leg and all he did was schedule me a month of PT and Dry Needling. That didn't do much and now he's saying that's all he can do to help me...He could've referred me to a different doctor for nerve damage. We talked chiropractic and things of that nature. I have no clue why he would just walk away and say that I'm healthy. Don't trust Dr. Sisk
MICHAEL Weber: Just want to say when the time I checked in and then taken back to the room everybody was very friendly helpful and understanding staff made me feel comfortable during my visit
Caroline Curran: Drs McCabe, Khadavi and Brown were all professional, attentive and helpful! I had a great experience with the entire team.
Emily Gartland: I've been very happy with the providers here. Dr. McCabe diagnosed and repaired a hip injury that I've been dealing with for 16 years, that no other provider had been able to figure out! Everyone I've dealt with in the office has been friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend them!
Kris Koppy: Doctor Kadavi: Empathetic, caring, supportive, and even funny at times; which helps reduce the duress. Front staff is amazing. Curious, helpful, patient, and supportive.Dr. Moore is amazing. Good listener, empathetic, genuine, collaborative, and caring. Listens to my story collaborates with me since I am the expert on my pain. Compassion for me / my pain. Pain will make you think you are crazy and pain can drive you crazy.
Adam Peterson: Your waiting period from the time of your appointment to the time you actually see your doctor... horrible. Spent 1 hr in waiting room. 30 min in exam room.
Colleen Jesaitis: Great staff, well cared for by everyone! Wait times not bad at all. If you have a shoulder injury I would most certainly advise you to consult with Dr. Greg R. Van den Berghe. He is at the top of his field. What other's diagnosed as arthritis, Dr. Van den Berghe found (after x-rays and scans) to be rotator and biceps tears.Recovering from surgery takes a lot of time and hard work in rehab but so very worth it! My range of motion has almost completely returned, I'm building back strength, and most blessedly, nearly pain free. It is impossible to thank he, his staff, and the Physical Therapists at St. Luke's South enough.
M Hicklin: Love this place! My PA fixed my "trigger finger", my thumb on my right hand. It was in a lot of pain; its amazing what you can't do when your thumb is out of order. One steroid shot and I was AOK in a few days. Wish I had gone earlier. Thanks again KCOA!
Angela Long: Dr. Van de Bergh performed rotator cuff and bicep tear on me in August 2022. Within 5 months, as a registered nurse, I have returned to full duties and active range of motion without pain. This is huge for me on account I was in severe pain for one year prior to surgery due to insurance issues. I cannot say enough positive comments about Dr. Van de Bergh, KC Orthopedic Alliance and Overland Park Surgery center. They were all professional, courtesy, available, sensitive and receptive. I am so glad and grateful I was referred to him by my PCP. It has been a great experience. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Van de Bergh and KC Orthopedic Alliance.
Dee McDonald: Don't go there! They tell you to be there at at 6:30 AM when they don't open till 7:00 AM. They don't care about the patients, at all. I do not recommend them.
Corkey Potter: Not happy went in with severe foot pain, could hardly walk, was given appt to return in 5 weeks for further testing. Cancelled appointment, got immediate treatment elsewhere
Sandy Hemaya: Caitlin Dotson is always very professional and knowledgeable. She is also very kind and makes you feel at ease.
Rick DeWitt: This is a great place, I've gone there many times for several sports related orthopedic issues and they haven't failed me yet! Needless to say that I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Brenda Curtright: The doctor and all of the staff are simply marvelous. Dr. Clymer is a wonderful doctor. He is calm, as gentle as is possible and he explains all options available. Thank you for my care.
Boris Tulchinskiy: It was a great experience meeting real professional - Doctor David Clymer. Within 1 week my pain is almost gone.
Sherri Palermo: Quick in and out
Sharon Arth: Dr. Abraham was excellent. Listened to my problem and explained things. Would highly recommend this group.
Carol Coe: Dr. David Clymer = genius. Just had a total right knee replacement. He is THE BEST, as is his entire team!

Orthopedic Surgeons Inc: what do users think?
Janie Senciboy: I first went to OSI to have carpal tunnel surgery and seen Dr. Cornett. Dr. Cornett addressed my issues and scheduled surgery. He was amazing and my wrist never felt better. So when I started having issues with my knee I went back to Dr. Cornett. He listened to my concerns and ordered an MRI. My knee swelled everyday and made it impossible to not have pain. I had surgery on my knee and I’m not going to lie it was horrible but Dr. Cornett again listened and was very caring. My knee never seemed to get better and even before the knee surgery Dr. Cornett expressed that my hip was not in the best shape and that hip pain could also cause knee pain. So when my knee still was not getting any better after months Dr. Cornett and I chose to replace the hip as well. My knee is still swelling but I have had improvement on knee pain. I am only 3 weeks out of total hip replacement so I am still having pain in my leg and hip and I am still swollen but I believe it will get better with time. Dr. Cornett is an amazing Physician and person. He is so caring and will sit down and listen to your concerns. I would recommend Dr. Cornett 1000%. I am so glad I found a orthopedic doctor I can trust.
Craig Williams: Great Doctors and staff. Would only recommend OSI for your orthopedic needs.
Alaine Leverett: Due to a horse riding accident I had to have a full hip replacement and a broken wrist set. I was referred to OSI and am elated.Dr Presley listened to my needs and set up a plan to get me back on my feet quickly. People are shocked at how well I am doing and are so impressed, I have given OSI contact info to several.Dr Presley and all the staff work as a team and are professional without losing the human side of treatment.I will continue to recommend OSI!
Charles Wakefield: What can I say!!! Dr dugan OMG was the Best .I went there cause my other Dr did little to care about me..Dr Dugan listen to me took time to explain .and had my knee surgery .love osi your all amazing ppl. This place really cares about it's people who come in there thank you all so much for giving me my life back I can walk again....
Kim Woolery: Edited to add: I just figured out how to access my MRI results and discovered that they show a type of cyst on my knee that would explain the exact issues I'm having. Dr. Presley never once mentioned this to me, discussed what it would mean, or what treatment options there are. I am so furious right now.____I was referred here by my doctor due to knee pain I've suffered from for 6 years after a fall, pain that has worsened recently to the point that some days I cannot walk if I've been on my feet for too long. The first visit with Dr. Presley, he saw me for 5 minutes, asked almost no questions about my pain or medical history, and said I needed an MRI before he could do anything. I was annoyed that they hadn't asked for one before I wasted my time with that visit but I complied and got a follow up visit. On the follow up he again saw me for only 5 minutes, seemed surprised that I was still in pain (I've been in pain for 6 years!), told me that since my MRI looked fine there was nothing he could do for me, and said I could do physical therapy and exercise. For a problem that is made worse by physical activity and exercise. He was completely uninterested in helping me or finding out what is wrong with me at all. I will be going back to my regular doctor to ask for a referral to someone else who actually wants to help and recommending that they do not refer anyone else to this office.
John Jones: this is an amazing orthopedic office. the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The surgeons are easy to talk to, take the time to listen and are very talented. would highly recommend
CJ Blomquist: My surgery doesn’t seem to have been successful and when trying to get ahold of the doctor or his staff it is near impossible. They never answer when you call and rarely return phone calls. Very frustrating during difficult and hard times for the patient.
Cheryl Lupton: Dr. Orth is not only a gifted surgeon, he has developed a supporting staff that is knowledgeable, respectful, caring and, like Dr. Orth, they treat patients like people, not like another dollar sign ($). His nurse assistant, Keith, is kind, informative and the best listener I've encountered in the medical field. This skill results in accuracy of the plan of care. He also recommended a medical device that is like a small cooler. When filled with ice, the attached hoses circulate ice cold water via the attached pad to the affected area. What a find! I highly recommend OSI, especially Dr. Orth and Keith.
Sessali: I went here for a second opinion. 1st Dr said they wanted to do surgery for a suspected, meniscus tear after my knee improved! Dr. Katherine Manseau ( Dr. Cornett) said that they treat the patient not other stuff. Since, I was improving, surgery wasn't needed, and they prescribed PT instead (injection if needed). You can trust this clinic and Dr Katherine Manseau (Dr. Cornett).
Gail Coleman-pease: Total hip replacement by Dr Dugan 4-13-2022. Pain relief was pretty immediate, range of motion is better than its been in 10 years!
S Jordan: Been to this office several times over the last few years, highly recommended, prompt, professional friendly,, Dr. Cornett A+
Jessica Weaver: Molly Black and her team, as well as everyone at OSI are five star. With the upmost respect and knowledge. My case was very difficult and all doctors before Dr. Black said I was not fixable. Molly and her team changed the quality of my life by fixing my leg.
Tracy Verdoorn: Dr David Paul is absolutely the BEST hands down!!
Shelby Hakes: terrible communication. Never got a call back :) Sarah is never there and no one can ever seem to find her.
Jennifer George: Drs are great, that’s about all
Claire Musser: My appointment was scheduled for 2:50pm.I did not see Erin until 4:20pm. I was made to do an in office appointment because no one would discuss my MRI results over the phone… I would not recommend this office.Making someone wait 10 days for an in office appointment AND to be left waiting for an hour and a half in the lobby to be READ your MRI results is completely unacceptable.
Mark Williams: Im 61 years old. Last Memorial Day 2020 - I tore my left Achilles. May 28 2020 Dr Angela Walker repaired it. Last Monday I hiked to the top of Sentinel Dome in Yosemite National Park. Wednesday I hiked Lake Tahoe. Today May 12 2021 I just did 5 miles (intervals walk/run) in under 50 minutes.Thank you Dr Walker and all those who assisted you.June 11-23, 2021 I will be hiking the Grand Canyon, Moab, Bryce, and Zion.
Lu Jacob: Today I saw Erin Dickey, RN NP. She is AMAZING! She is very professional and explains everything. She has a great bedside manner and does not rush you through your appointment. She also gives a great shot! I was so happy she could see me on such a short notice since Dr David Paul had no openings today. My knee pain started feeling better in a couple of hours. Appointment was easy to make and everyone was very professional! I highly recommend Erin and the whole team! I hear nothing but great things about the staff Physicians, NP’s and PA’s. Everyone was great!
Amy Ross: I had a left hip replacement by Dr. David Paul at Total Joint Center of the Northland back in December 2020. Dr. Paul was wonderful in taking his time explaining what needed to be done. He listened and answered all of my questions. The staff at Total Joint Center was the best I have ever seen. I have been in the medical field and their level of compassion and care is above any expectations I had. Dr. Paul's assistant, Jenni always called me back in a timely manner and helped me with any questions I had. If I have to have my right hip replaced, I will definitely go back to Dr. David Paul and Total Joint Center.
Cassie Brown: Dr Kesl is the worst orthopedic surgeon i have been too! I seen him at the Cameron Hospital, with A Lot wrong with my shoulder he put me threw physical therapy and injections, told me I was too young for surgery and to live with it! I continued working for about 9 months until I couldn't function with my daily activities anymore! I lost my insurance, was going to my chiropractor every other week for relief. My neck was popping out causing me migraines, when I started searching for a Dr. that would help me, I found one in St. Joseph and my shoulder was almost completely separated the Dr. seen me on a Thursday and wanted me there by Monday for surgery! I was in so much pain I couldn't take it anymore! He had to put 3 anchors in my bone to tie my labrum back together, he removed cysts and bone spurs from my shoulder, and told me my shoulder only had 10% left before it was done for! Had I found the right Dr. the first time I would've been a lot better off!
Kathy Wilson: My knee replacement surgery was on November 23rd, at the Total Joint Center. I cannot say enough about Dr. David Paul. He is a master “carpenter”. He came highly recommended by several friends....and I most certainly see why. The care I received was superb. Mia was excellent in her preparation work, letting us know exactly what to expect. The entire staff was amazing the day of surgery. I was anxious, but they all were compassionate and professional the entire time, pre op and post op. I would very highly recommend Dr. David Paul and his incredible team if you’re in need of surgery. He gets a “five star” rating!

Robert Baker: Dr David Dugan, is truly exceptional! From the moment I entered the doors to his office, I felt welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease. Dr. Dugan has gone above and beyond to be sure that my complete health and wellness have been made first priority. Any and all concern's have been addressed from day one .He is extremely knowledgeable and personable. And if ever I needed to contact him or his staff, they were super speedy in responding . The staff from the gals at the front desk to other members of his team are like a well oiled machine. Couldn`t be happier with the care I received. Thanks Team Dugan !
vince accardo: Dr Greg Barnhill has taken care of my orthopedic needs for 40 years. He and everyone he has trained, have taken great care of all my orthopedic mishaps in professional, courteous, skilled and knowledgeable manner. Now Dr Kesl is fixing my son's broken ankle. I have the confidence in any surgeon in this great practice!
michael rhodus: I didn’t care for the physicians assistant that saw me for my last two appointments. I felt like his goal was to get out of the room asap. They also never return phone calls so don’t expect to be able to communicate with them. That’s not an exaggerations. The surgeons and doctors are great and the rest of the staff is friendly. I’d recommend them to people but would give the above warnings to set expectations.
Terri Cochrane: Dr.Robert Paul and his staff are FANTASTIC!ALL of them are friendly, caring and knowledgeable. Will NOT go anywhere else. Will refer to others. Definitely!Left total knee replacement revision. Done.Pending right total knee.Thank you all so very much!SINCERELYTLC
Rebecca Hernandez: Its fast. And reliable i love it
Paula Sweetwood: Wonderful surgeons! Had both knees done by David Paul. So glad OSI was recommended to me!!
Julia Morgunova: Very disappointed!!! Walk in with twisted ankle, been told to schedule an appointment!

Cassie Hale: Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I love how the doctors take their time really listening and helping you figure out a treatment plan and explaining a technical things in a way you can understand. Definitely recommend this place to anyone needing an orthopedic consult. 👍
Stephanie Hartzler: Dr David Paul is one of the best orthopedic surgeons in the KC area. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, and has a great bedside manner. He is thorough during his visits, you get the feel you're the only one he sees, despite his busy schedule. He is extremely skillful, I have had great recoveries from knee surgeries and shoulder. He walked me through what to expect from the entire experience. His outcomes are good with minimal swelling, pain and complications in relationship to the procedure. Not only do I recommend him, he has worked on nearly everyone in my family with the exact same positive results including ACL surgeries (3), Achilles tendon repair following a rupture, labral tear of shoulder and wrist surgery.
Joe Plas: Dr Paul and entire Staff were awesome !His knowledge and remedy of my problem was first rate. After living in pain 5 years I was very fortunate to cross paths with Dr David Paul.Joe
Margie Rutledge: I receive 2 corisone injections from Dr David Paul every 3 months and Dr David Paul is excellent in giving these injections. They don't even hurt, all I can feel is the pressure in the area where the injection puts the cortisone in. I have recieved treatment ( surgery, knee and shoulder injections, diagnosis, etc) since the year 2005 and he is excellent in his treatment. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Brian J. Divelbiss, MD: what do users think?
Sandrina Brennan: Dr. Divelbiss is a wonderful provider. He always makes me feel ike the most important patient of the day, no matter how busy he is. He always takes the time to answer any question or concern. Highly recommend.
Jamie Webner: Dr. Divelbiss is excellent. He takes time to discuss and explain things.
Kyle Linville: Dr. Divelbiss was very informative and answered any questions I had. Appointments were quick and to the point with very little wait time. He preformed surgery that fixed my finger and restored the movement I had pre-injury. I would recommend Dr. Divelbiss to anyone looking to have hand surgery.
Cassadee Turner: The receptionist on the phone is super rude. She puts you on hold without reason along with not saying she is doing so. When I hung up and called back, she acted as if I hadn’t just called. Getting an appointment is ridiculous and she was not helpful by any means. When I told her I would call back tomorrow to figure out the rest of what I needed, she just hung up. Didn’t say “okay have a nice day” like a typical person would do.
Alan Harvell: Dr Divelbiss is professional and excellent bedside manner. He answers questions thoroughly and has good instructions.
Shari Rogers: Dr Divelbiss has done procedures on both of my hands. Best surgeries I've ever had done. He is warm, friendly, and thorough. The staff is excellent and gives great care. I would definitely recommend Dr Divelbiss and KCOI to others.
Connor LeCroix: Can’t speak on the doctors but the receptionist over the phone I talked with was incredibly rude.
Connie Redwing: Dr Divelbiss is very knowledgeable in regard to hands. He was quick to order an x-ray that confirmed his diagnosis after visualizing my hand.
Gene Boswell: I always have a great experience with and results from Dr. Divelbiss. He has operated on my hands numerous times; great results every time.
Jim Bowers: Dr. Divelbiss and his team do outstanding work. I’m early in the healing process, but I couldn’t be happier with the results of my hand surgery.
Marilyn Gorman: Personable, explained everything and the results have been as expected. Would definitely recommend.
Billie Brooks: Dr. Divelbliss has been the "go to" doctor for my wife for the past several years. She wouldn't hesitate to consult with him again.
Jannice McDonald: This place is what I call "TOP OF THE LINE", everyone I've come in contact with has treated me very well, Dr. Divelbiss and his team was just "AWESOME" at the time of my surgery. Thank you ALL for the care and support you gave me.
Janice Randolph: This doctor’s office was thorough and efficient. Staff was efficient. I was out within 30 minutes my first visit. Their on line experience was not easy. But that was the only real negativity to speak of.
RAY JACKSON: Always the best experience! Very caring doctor and staff!
Leonard Hopkins: Diagnosed my problem quickly and prescribed treatment that fixed it completely. Very satisfied
Nancy Lear: Dr. Divelbiss is the best!
Joy Biard: Dr. Divelbiss is very kind and has a great bedside manner. I had a carpal tunnel release done. He did a great job. He answered all my questions honestly. I would highly recommend him.
Greg Wallman: Dr. Divelbiss always takes time to discuss the situation and explains the options and diagnosis in an easily understood way and makes sure the patient is confident in the path forward.
Sherry Mabry: Dr. Divilbiss is an excellent physician and good communicator. I highly recommend him for any orthopedic hand problems.
Pat Beer: Dr Divelbiss was just another of the great experiances and care I have received from this group for many yearsHe also made me feel at ease and in good hands

Paul David D Do: what do users think?
Mark Haenni: Had both knees replaced. Went the outpatient route and had the best treatment ever. Would highly recommend Dr. Paul. Great bedsides manner. Did exactly what he said to do in physical therapy and these knese are awesome. I hear people complain that it hurts, well it did because they cut my leg open and put in a new knee. But that pain was temporary and believe me it will go away if you do what they say to do. Pain is just weakness leaving the body.
Tonya Blevins: I had a right hip replacement with Dr Paul. He has very good bedside manners. He explained everything before surgery thoroughly. I absolutely love him and all his staff. I am only 3 weeks out from surgery and still in quite a bit of pain, but I am assured I will be just fine under Dr. Paul's care!
James Greene: I have had both knees replaced with Dr. David Paul left knee 3 yrs ago and right knee 6 months ago and his follow up as well as his concern for the correct size knee in my instance was outstanding. I cant be more satisfied with the results. I would refer him to anyone I know.
Tami Davis: I’m 54 years old and was told at 30 I needed knee replacements but I was too young. I went to see Dr. David Paul in April and he scheduled my surgeries. I had one on June 7th and one on July 26. I know it hasn’t been that long after surgery but I am truly a new person. I teach line dance and am a two stepping fool. I was dancing after three weeks of my left and right surgeries. I can not thank Dr David Paul and his assist Erin for giving me back my life. I can walk like I am 50 and feel amazing. I cam pedal a bicycle with no pain and go up and down stairs like normal. Tank you doesn’t say enough! High recommend this amazing dr!!
William Gray: Dr. Paul did both of my knee replacements and I couldn’t be happier. If I had a question he took the time to answer and he is very personable. I have told countless people about him and they all have had GREAT experiences.
Brianna Rock: Horrible, horrible experience with my daughter's knee surgery. Find another surgeon. Do NOT trust this guy.
Gary Harvey: 2 total knee replacements, six weeks apart. Would highly recommend Dr. David Paul.
Jeremy Zimmerli: Had a hip replacement 8 weeks ago, I noticed it was still seeping so I made an appointment with his nurse practitioner. Much to my surprise it was Dr Paul that wanted to see me. He went back in and cleaned out my wound today. The nursing and support staff are excellent. When he did my hip replacement he went through everything that would happen step by step. The only thing that brought me close to 4 stars was twofold.1: the nursing staff is always super busy so if you have a question or need a refill it may take a day or two.2: He is a very busy doctor it feels as if though if you have questions he isn’t in there very long. Write your questions down so you don’t forget something before he leaves the patient room.Thank you Dr D.Paul. If and when I need the left one replaced you’re the only doc on my list. I would not hesitate to refer one of my family membersThanks again Dr. David PaulJeremy Zimmerli
Mark Greco: Don’t go here if you value your time. Waits of over an hour are normal.
jacki regelski: Right hip replacement by Dr David Paul. Great job!
CoRuPtEd boy: Had an appointment set up for my knee. I was unable to walk without a lot of pain. Went to the er at north kansas city and was told to go home and see Dr. Kessell tomorrow. Morning of the appointment it was cancelled and so still unable to walk i now have to go back to work in pain. See someone else.
Stephanie Smith: I had a partial right knee replacement and total left knee replacement. He really listens to what I have to say instead of rushing in and out. Out of all my Drs he's the best.
Marie Holmes: Wonderful surgeon and delightful bedside manner. Have had one knee totally rebuilt and one traditional knee replacement.
bekyfisher: Dr. Paul did my knee surgery. He said it was one of the worst knees he had ever seen. My tibia was broken off in the joint, and he had to do a bone graft. My knee is now perfect...never an ache or a pain. He is caring and conscientious. I wouldn't go to anybody else.
Donna Schroer: After 30+ years of fearfully putting off double knee replacements I finally found Dr Paul and knew immediately I would proceed. He was able to ease my fears and gave me the confidence to get my mobility back. His staff is great and always friendly too. Thank you Dr David Paul for making such a difference in life for me.
Jason: I have had 3 knee surgeries, 2 elbow, and 1 shoulder fixed with Dr. David Paul. He has done an amazing job on each surgery and he is always extremely friendly on every visit. He answers all the questions I have for him and he is never too busy to educate me on the injury I am seeing him for. I would highly recommend Dr. David Paul for any orthopedic need.
Jennifer Curnutt: I would recommend Dr.Paul David to anyone looking for a well educated orthopedic doctor. He and his medical students were all super patient and took their time with my daughter. Excellent staff as well. I had my daughter seen at the Orthopedic And Sports Medicine Center and drove 45 minutes to see Dr.Paul for a second opinion. I was VERY satisfied.

After my 3rd carpel tunnel release in 35 years and an incomplete repair on the second surgery from a different Dr., Dr. Bradley has made my hands feel the best in years! This man is outstanding at his profession and again I cannot stress enough of his most awesome bedside manner! Thanks so much Dr. Bradley! My hand specialist for life!
