Even though my almost 3 year old did not want her teeth cleaned the hygienists and Dr. Burleson made her feel very comfortable and made it a fun experience for her by including her in the process when he checked her siblings’ teeth. We would highly recommend Burleson Ortho!7-18-22 Update: Burleson pediatric dentistry and Orhtodontics is now west rock orthodontist. They no longer offer general dentistry services so I have to find a new dentist for my children. The administrative staff are very nice. There was some miscommunication during the transition period but they reached out to clear up any concerns we had. Orthodontic consultation went well and cost seem comparable to other orthodontics around the area.

Had hi hopes with my sons first visit but quickly had a change of heart soon I seen how they handled things after they refereed us to a specialist for a plan in place then just didn’t reach out or care after that poor communication just gave up after very disappointed
Derek Weese: STAY AWAY. My children were going here and then they had to have cavities filled. I was told that I had to pay for all services up front which was expensive for 2 children. They then said they could not do all in one day and could only do 2 of the 5. 2 weeks later I get message saying they no longer will be able to do dentistry . I have been trying for almost 5 months now to get refund of my money for services not provided. I have left multiple messages for office manager and was told she would call me back. About 3 months ago I talked to someone that said they would get the refund to me. 2 month later i get ahold of office manager who apologized and said they woukd get it twken care of. Ut did. Ot even know the amount i overpaid. Finally May 17th i get message saying they are sending money out. Still waiting on money as of June 3rd as well as I had to call and leave a message doubt I get a response since I only get a response every 5th message I leave
Christine Burdiss: Very frustrated with my experience. Got fitted for Invisalign. Said it would take 3-4 weeks to get in. They never called me. 5 weeks later I had to call them. I was quoted that I would wear them for 18-24 months. When I showed up to get them there was only 12 weeks of Invisalign in the box. I called in the day I put my last tray on and they said they could not get me in for 5 weeks. (Funny because when I made an apt to get a estimate on getting them they got me in the next day) They said I could drive to Raymore but still did not have anything for 2 weeks. I have NEVER even seen the dentist once. I feel like they take your money and than they don't care how you are treated. I have tried to speak with them about my frustration with no help/answers!!! Please second guess Burleson Orthodontics. I wish I would of.
Davida C.: Please look somewhere else for orthodontic care for your child! I had 2 kids in braces at the same time for 4 years with going to all of the appointments. They were not seen by the Orthodontist hardly ever and I believe that’s what caused everything to be so drawn out. I had braces as a child in a different city and I was seen by my Orthodontist at every single visit to manage progress. We were told they would get Invisalign as a retainer when we started the process. Less than a year before my kids got their braces off, Burleson switched to retainer club which has been a nightmare. We’re 6 months in and my kids have no more replacements left for the year. We had friends that paid half of what we paid for the same or better results. I will be looking for a different orthodontist for my youngest child.

Marissa Ericson: They are always very helpful and professional. My only frustration is that the wires are never cut/bent appropriately or placed under the bands appropriately meaning we have to make an hour drive back to the office each time we have an adjustment done. Even last time when my son told them the wires were poking him, he was told they were bent and should be fine. I then looked at his braces and saw it wasn't under the band on the last bracket causing the issue.

Kelly Yucra: Poor customer service. You go to a place and pay to get a service and they think they are doing you a favor Literally wasted my time twice after trying to be seen for a consultation. First time, they changed my appt last minute. Once I got there the lady shouted at me from her desk to the door about the mask. Failed to offered me. I went next door to get a mask - which made me late for my appointment - only so she can tell me - I could not be seen that day. The next day - arrived 5 minutes late. Same thing. She said they were short a technician and I couldn’t be seen that day as well. 2 hours wasted of my time for no reason. I even tried bringing it up to the office manager - just so she can start arguing with me - how there was 2 sides to every story and I guess was calling me a liar?!!!!!!!!! Anyways… never going back to this place. I’m glad this interaction and moments of truth showed up on the first appointments - so I was not stuck with them for the rest of any treatment.
Conner Brake: This is the place to go! From start to finish Dr. Harman and the staff were helpful, friendly, professional, informative... and just plain great at their jobs. I had an Invisalign for around a year and the results are incredible. I used to subconsciously think everyone was looking at my out-of-place lower teeth when I was talking to them - the work done to correct this has given me confidence and peace of mind. If you want the best, stop looking, you've found it.
Chonda: This is an AMAZING office!!! The staff are friendly, the doctors are excellent with care. My sons teeth were so messed up and Dr. Herman took time to analyze all his alignment issues to come up with the best plan for him. Honestly I had braces and I regret not choosing this practice. My husband receives his treatment here and I have another kiddo in line! You won’t go wrong here and Dr. Joshi(?) is really good as well!!!!
Simon Parkinson: I cannot recommend Heidi Harman (and the rest of the staff) enough. I came to her after I noticed significant gum loss following a few weeks with a mail in retainer service. Thankfully, she was able to save the tooth and straighten all of the rest. I wish I'd come to her right away, but I'm glad I got there eventually.

Tucker Ross: Strongly recommend for anyone dealing with TMJ issues.Dr. Harman was able to significantly improve the condition and alleviate the chronic pain of my TMJ within a year. Several other providers had told me that there was nothing that could be done. The Invisalign treatment itself went without delay or discomfort thanks to the technology and attention to detail this practice offers.
Angel Allen: My experience with Dr. Harman and her entire staff has been exemplary from start to finish and the final result brought tears to my eyes. She truly is an artist and is an expert in Invisalign treatment. Everyone that works for her from the office staff to her assistants are professional and kind. M. M.: Now that my daughter's treatment is over, I want to tell the world how great this place is. The cost is pretty much comparable to anywhere else you would go for braces. I opted for the more expensive robotic braces for my daughter and wow, was it worth it. Treatment was over way faster than expected and I couldn't be more pleased. Every office visit was pleasant and they always got us in fairly quickly. They were more than accommodating. They have coffee for the parents in the waiting room and April would always put Elmo on Netflix for my baby daughter. (April is the best) They always described to me exactly what was going on and I felt very informed about the process. Thank you!

You may not be aware that every visit will take you on an unexpected musical journey compliments of Dr. Harmon's playlist. Dr. Harmon has mad ninja DJ skills. Her well-crafted playlist spans the last six decades and consistently surprises. Great music makes the chair time fly!

However they recommended a fluoride treatment which if you look online is useless for adults. Then he proceeded to tell me he needed to fill some cavities so I came back for a second appointment and without even asking he REVISED a filling. The man is only looking to pad his pockets seek a more honest dentist.
Keeva Hartzell: I can’t say enough amazing things about this place. My only regret is not finding them sooner. I broke a tooth yesterday, was able to get in the very next day, they even stayed late so that I could get my permanent crown put in the very same day before I left town for a wedding! The chairs have massagers and they put on a movie for me. It felt like a trip to the spa! I will be back for all my dental work. If I would have known there were dental offices like this I wouldn’t have waited so long between visits. Was by far the best dental experience I’ve ever had.

The office staff are great and I get in and out fairly quickly compared to other dentists I've seen in the past. I highly recommend Dr. Guerschon de Laurent and his staff.
Maddy Marrs: I went here once a few years ago and was not thrilled with my experience. It had been a few years since I had been able to see a dentist due to lack of dental insurance and the tech cleaning my teeth was so rude to me about it. I was essentially lectured on how I needed to get my teeth cleaned more often. I was also told that I needed a few crowns and onlays (not sure how that is spelled). I could not afford that at the time and was heading back to college so I didn't have any of the procedures done. I then saw a different dentist and was told there were just a few cavities. Nothing beyond a simple filling. I also have crooked teeth, nothing super crazy, just a few gaps and I felt like they were pressuring me into getting invisilign braces. If you have any insecurities regarding your teeth, don't go here. Maybe they've changed since I saw them. Probably not.

Gtm A: !!!STAY AWAY FROM THIS DENTIST!!!Went to this dentist a few years back just for regular dental cleaning and was told that I have a few cavities which needs to be fixed. There was no pain at that point and I had no idea I had any cavities. Being naive, I agreed - I should have gotten a second opinion now that I think of it. Guerschon messed up the procedure and put me on Hydrocodone painkillers. I was in extreme pain for almost a month and was on Hydrocodone but I am glad I never got addicted to these opioid/painkillers. When I went back and complained, he made up some BS excuse. I ended up going to a specialist and getting a root canal on that tooth - All because I agreed to get my so called cavities filled up at this hack of a dentist.

Monique Evette: I came to this dental office specifically for Dr. Ash I saw him when he was at his office in Raytown and when I saw he was here at celebrate Dental I thought I'll come here to see him. I did not get to see him and I will probably never get to see him because the way them front desk girls talk to you is highly unprofessional.Its condescending tone, the irritant like we're getting on their nerves, to clapback snapbacks for asking a question. I don't know if this is an office that primarily takes Medicaid Medicare patients but I am not one of them! I work too hard and too long to bring my insurance to an office where front office has an attitude all the time and it was more than one girl I had this same type interaction with. Just rudeness and upset frown look on their faces and all I did was walk through the front door.The dentist I saw and dental assistant was nice but it was just the interaction I had with the front office that is turning me from continuing business with them.The parking was a little unusual as well I mean I've been to many dental office and this office parking lot was packed I mean it was packed luckily I found one but I thought that was unusual I'm not sure if this is a school /dental office. It would have been nice to see you Dr. Ash but No Sir I cannot do it cuz the moment I snapped back then I'm a be a disgruntled customer or hard to deal with.I mean we all have to work, the city has opened back up. I'm in my office 5 days a week 40 plus weeks. If I spoke to our clientele in the manner that some of these girls do best believe somebody would be marching over to me correcting me .Because I know this can't be the first time they've heard this complaint the way these girls were clowing.They need to call it, "Attitude Celebrate Dental & Braces" that's what they need to call it.

Attention is excellent , they are bilingual so if you only speak Spanish no problem! About prices I think they are reasonable it definitely worth every penny!

Ashley Ogle: I’ve avoided writing this review for a couple years now, but it still has me upset to this day. I went to Dr. Dorsch for braces, as my little sister was going to him and my mom enjoyed it. Well despite however much I suggested, near-begged, for braces, he succeeded in convincing me to get the Invisalign. I assumed the Invisalign was cheaper for him to do, and easier considering he doesn’t make the trays, and I was never good at being assertive about what I wanted, always making everyone else’s life easier. So we proceeded, just as expensive as braces. After 2 sets, one revision, and my teeth still aren’t straight. You can see it in my retainers that they aren’t straight. After the first set, he said it was because my teeth couldn’t do what I wanted them to do,(one of my front teeth sticks out) but little did he know, I had braces as a teen and they were perfectly straight before I accidentally lost my retainer. After the revision set, he proceeded to blame me for not wearing my sets like I was supposed to (which was not true at all). After that, I got so fed up and knew I wouldn’t be able to get what I paid for and cut my losses. Their digital retainer scanning thing sent me home with a crooked retainer after the first set, and I voiced this. So he sent me home with the flimsy, last step tray sans the teeth attachments. My tooth still sticks out, and there’s a huge gap in between two of my teeth that food always gets stuck in and makes it extremely uncomfortable. I never went back. 6k down the drain. And having to save another 6k for braces now. His staff was amazing and he was nice enough when he wasn’t being condescending, but stick to your gut on what you want, and I would choose braces every time! There’sa five star review floating around somewhere because they give out gift cards for it during the process but obviously things shifted.

Grace Ninesling: I’ve lived in 5 major cities in the US and this is the best dentist office I have ever been to, hands down! They are kind, respectful and honest, and make the cleaning quick and easy. They do not push unnecessary treatments or procedures and are super knowledgeable.
Allison Crecelius: Barb is the best dental hygienist I’ve ever had! So knowledgeable and gives great advice. Dr. Brent is very sweet and welcoming. The entire staff is amazing. Cannot recommend this place enough.
Sierra Becker: Although my dentist and assistant were so fantastic and kind, I did not have a good experience here. I hadn’t been to the dentist is a long time, so I was aware that I was going to have lengthy dental issues. My issue was the lack of proper patient education given. My bill was never properly explained to me so I was shocked at the amount when it was all done, there was no education on what I could or could not do after the procedure (what I could eat/shouldn’t eat), and billing ended up being a nightmare for me. My bill was over 5,000 after insurance and I was paying in increments (which they accommodated) as I am a struggling nursing school student. Then, I got a call today saying that my bill was going to the debt collectors. I was told that they had left several messages and talked to me over the phone and via text. This never happened. I had never been in contact with any one from KC Family Dental since my last appointment. I checked my phone call and text message receipts and this was the first message I had received. I felt the blame was being put on me for pure lack of communication. If you’re someone who doesn’t have tons to spend on the dentist, maybe consider going elsewhere.

A beautiful modern and comfortable facility and excellent care with none of the “upsell” pressure I experienced at a previous dentist. But the best thing about Kc Family Dental is the patient care and friendliness of Dr. Brent, Melissa, and the staff. I have spent my life dreading dentist trips (as a candy fiend with frequent cavities) but they are always easygoing, professional, communicate clearly and are just very warm and kind people. Haven’t had a cavity since I started going two years ago. (Hooray!) I highly recommend them.
Elisa Walls: First off, can I just say that I have never been in any kind of doctors office that is so accommodating and professional. The front office staff are kind and always on top of everything. They even asked me how I was doing after my grandmother passed away a couple of weeks back. My hygienist Jamie (I think that’s how you spell it 😊) was so kind and made me feel comfortable throughout my time there. She greeted me with a smile and It was almost like I was just hanging out with her while I was in the chair. We talked about food and giggled at what was on TV. She was very thorough in my cleaning and extremely gentle when flossing, simply because I hate flossing 😊. The new doctor Dr. Alivia was great too! I didn’t get to speak much with her as she didn’t need to stay with me that long, but she greeted me with a smile and was kind while she checked out my teeth.Keep up the hard work KC Family Dental!
