Bethany Schatz: We unwittingly came in right before closing but the assistant was extremely gracious. She showed us an ambulance of flavors and vinegar/oil combos that I would never have thought of. My favorite was the espresso balsamic vinegar mixed with chipotle olive oil, a great mixture of sweet and savory. We left with a bottle of lemon balsamic vinegar for our chicken tomorrow night and plan to come back for more experimentations. If you want to up your meals in one simple step, this would be the way to go.

Dylan Sone: Can I start with, Wow, Amazing, delicious. Got both a balsamic apricot blend and a olive lemon blend. Only was able to cook with the lemon olive oil with the fish and it ended up boosting the flavor dramatically and the aftertaste was so smooth as well. Will be coming back for more

So many varieties from fruity to savory we decided to buy the apricot vinaigrette and the lemon olive oil which went perfect with the fish we made that night. Debra Gagnon: Had a fun visit to the Lee's Summit store. I got 3 vinegars. I don't do oil any more because of my diet, but there looked to me to be a great selection. On the recommendation of the shop owner I added cinnamon/pear balsamic vinegar to my oatmeal. WOW what a difference! There are so many ways vinegars can be used in cooking, salads, vegetable dishes, sauces. I have about 20 different types of vinegars at home that I buy at a variety of places, and I use them all. If you want to up your cooking game, you need to visit this store.

I ordered four vinegars and an olive oil, and I decided to save gas and have them shipped! I was a little concerned—but no worries. Mindi packaged them perfectly and very securely and they arrived safely in three days, with a thoughtful hand written thank you note and a generous sample of an infused olive oil. I have bought their oils and vinegars for years, and never want to run out! I highly recommend them. It is well worth the price for the nutrition and flavor, and the shipping is quite the bargain! I usually enjoy going to their pleasant store, and sample my choices, but opted for convenience this time and I’m very pleased!

Kristi Talbott: Employees are rude and harrassing in front of children, take your business elsewhere. I politely walked out the door after being asked by an employee to wear a mask, and was then chased down in another store and harassed by the owner. I politely tried to explain I was NOT rude and he kept talking over me so I completely ignored him turned my back until he left me and my children alone. I was in NO shape or form rude in ANY way I just choose not to shop where masks are required. Everyone has their own beliefs and I am not one to judge other people's beliefs or argue about said beliefs. I caused no harm I was only in his store for maybe 30 seconds and left .
Kristal Greer: The BEST olive oils and balsamics. Sicilian lemon balsamic paired with the smoked olive oil on a salad with feta is to die for. I havent tried one yet that i dont love. The staff is very knowledgable too.

Keller Daniel: Fantastic local store with speciality food items!If you're a foodie, looking for an off the wall/unique ingredient or just enjoy a specialty cheese (and food!) store, this is your place. I went in looking for one ingredient for dinner and left with a large bag of goodies! I was able to locate black garlic here which I couldn't find at any other specialty store in the city, they have an impressive selection of hard to find cheeses, along with an array of specialty and locally sourced food items. I was able to purchase some locally made small batch vanilla extract as well as some of their own branded olives. Can't wait to return to try more of what they have to offer! Their staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, too!

Wuji Fei: I like this place, sells lots of cheeses from all over the world. You can try out varies kinds using the toothpick they provided. Staff are friendly and helpful. I am still exploring cheeses so when I settle on some specific kinds, I will come back. It’s slightly more expensive than the cheeses you find at grocery stores but it’s understandable.
Leslie McCormack: We love putting together charcuterie trays when we entertain. Better Cheddar has a fantastic assortment of cheeses, crackers, nuts, olives, and spreads. We highly recommend a visit. All their cheeses can be tried so you can find the perfect pairing without guessing. The staff is also very helpful and knowledgeable.
Patrick McCormack: This place is incredible! If you love cheese it is a must. Their selection and variety of cheeses from around the world is awesome. We went to find something for a cheese and meat platter we were having that evening. We sampled many great cheese and brought home quite a variety. We were able to choose several spectacular Bleu cheeses a nice selection of goat and sheep both hard and soft. They had section for washed rind cheese and my son who enjoys those picked a very good one. They also had some nice meats in their deli counter and the non- cheese items were interesting and very unique. If you like your cheese this is the place.

Nancy Bamford: I adore this place. If you’re making a charcuterie board, it’s a must. The employees are super helpful and will cut you pieces to size if the available selections are too big or small. And they have a lot of canned goods that are hard to find, like pickled Brussels. We go a few times a year and always enjoy our experience at either location.

Annie kinsss: I want to start out by saying I’ve been going to this location since I was about 4 or 5 years old. It was my dads favorite place to take us as kids. I’ve always had amazing things to say, but over the last year or so that’s definitely changed. It started out as a few messed up orders thru Door dash, which I completely understand, things happen. So I made note to myself to only go in person. The last 2 times I’ve went in person my sandwich has been made incorrectly, which is no big deal, but the response from staff was. I was told that “I ordered wrong” or “When I was a kid we had to eat what was given”. I am literally allergic to tomatoes and I can’t have oil for dietary reason. I come home and put ORGANIC veggies on it. There’s absolutely no reason for staff to belittle someone’s sandwich topping choices; I mean come on.🙄I pay good money for a sandwich that used to be $5.75, I shouldn’t be met with judgement from the employees there. I’m not sure if the owners kids took over, but it’s just sad how little they take pride in customer relations now😪

Shannon Calegari: I loved the Brookside location and love the spices. There was at least parking. I went to your new location yesterday and could not find parking after 10 minutes, between the traffic and the parking I will not go back. I will be ordering online going forward.

Mary Buxbaum: A lovely shop, filled with all kinds of spices both familiar and exotic. Spices can be purchased in bulk for whatever amount you need. Some fun things: a variety of sugar mixtures, vanilla extract kits (got one!), and a nice selection of barbecue sauces that are not all the typical KC kind. Plus, there are many opportunities for sampling the different spices. The store owner is welcoming and very helpful. A recommended visit if you're in the Brookside area -- or just a special trip!

I can see for a blind person but, just on the regular around open cold sandwiches/hot food and just the food in general is unsanitary.Plus one of the cashiers was petting a dog that came through the line without washing her hands another time. Michelle c. Trimble: Their deli section is absolutely amazing. The store is clean, employees friendly shelves fronted, faced and shockingly stocked...lol. only gave 4 out of 5 stars due to lack of variety. It's brand name or bust here, so expect to pay for the nice curb appeal.
John Groves: Allows unprofessional employees to cuss out customers. Management was informed and they allowed it. ....... Very disappointed in the unprofessional and uneducated staff they have dealing with customers.
Rupert Young: Nice upscale grocery store. Has lots of premade food options that are decent.
Deniz Ender: Great market with gourmet selection of pastries and to go items. Loved their vegetables and fruit selections as well.

Robert Barrone: One would think that someone on staff would know the code for the men's restroom. I guessed wrong, I had a slight emergency while shopping and was told I was out of luck. I had to walk 2 blocks at 10:30AM to find one open. Pitiful customer service. I appreciate not wanting the restroom to be a public one, but for NO STAFF MEMBER to know the code is stupid, ridiculous and unprofession.

Rob Driskill: This is a really nice market and deli in the middle of downtown. The deli area has a great selection of food you can get to go or sit at one of the tables they have on a small dining area. They also have an amazing selection of desserts if like us you are just looking for something to satisfy a sweet tooth.
Benjamin Moore: I just left the Main St. Kansas City, MO location of Cosentino’s Market. The male cashier was quite unhelpful and short. When I walked up to the register, he spoke and rang me up. I selected the $20 cash back option and said, “It would be great if I could get two 10’s.” He said - in a very cold and short tone might I add - “I’ll have to see I have that.” Which, of course, I know that. It wasn’t what he said but how he said it. He opened the register and had no 10’s. So I asked for four 5’s, which he then gave me. The next customer - who was a White male - was greeted warmly by the cashier with, “Hey! How’re ya doin’? Do you need your parking validated?” As you could imagine, I was caught by surprise, because I received none of that courtesy and warmth. Also, see the picture I’ve attached. Quite disturbing. Why do I post it and bring light to it? Because this is a hint into the culture and mindset of this establishment.As a cast member of a major musical tour that is in town, it is immensely disheartening to tour this country and experience people’s bias, racism, and inequities. The same people - who quite possibly came to enjoy my performance on stage - treat me differently when I patronize a local business. What a shame! I hope you examine your policies and employees and ensure that they treat ALL PEOPLE with care and respect. It’s 2023 - time to do better.

Pa Fellows: New and small BUT great customer service, friendly owner and GREAT true olive oils. Also has flavored balsamic vinegars. The habenero olive oil is GREAT and a lot of others. When you go check it out to make a purchase you can get a small taste to see if it's the one you want first. I use the habenero olive oil in my salads to give it a little kick. Current crush dates too on the oils.
