Sara Welker Beaudry: I brought my daughter for a haircut for the first time last weekend.I had called and scheduled an appointment for an available stylist since I'd never been there and she was booked for an adult haircut with shampoo and styling with Angela.First, she was running late--I understand, sometimes that happens. I did not know anything about her so when a stylist walked up to the reception area and looked at me and my daughter and said "I guess you two are waiting for me" in an annoyed tone so I guessed it was her. She told the receptionist to cancel her next appointment because she wasn't feeling well but that she would do this cut quickly. She then told us to follow her. No small talk or anything.She told my daughter to sit in the chair and then told me that she knows she's coming down with something and feels really sick, am I okay with her cutting my daughter's hair? I said if she's okay with doing the haircut I guess so. She then excused herself to go to the back to blow her nose. She returned and continued to say how sick she felt, then said she would just do a dry cut on my daughter's hair (it's almost down to her butt, which is why I booked an adult haircut). She had my daughter stand up and then said she felt like she was going to throw up and ran to the restroom. Another stylist offered to cut my daughter's hair once she was done with her current client, so we waited for awhile longer and finally got the haircut.I know people get sick and it's not fun to work when you don't feel well. However, it is not okay to make your customer --especially a child-- feel badly when it's not her fault. Her unpleasant attitude and actions made us feel extremely unwelcome and like a burden for coming in for services.I cannot remember the stylist who ended cutting my daughter's hair--I think Megan?--but she was a sweetheart, so I won't write off the salon completely, but definitely not a stellar first visit.Service:Haircut

Expect your appointment to take longer, but your nails will always be perfect and last 3-4 weeks. When I had a slightly negative experience with another nail tech, she comped the entire service. Anna and Yung are both fabulous at nail designs and Hai does a great natural-looking dip. Loretta is the queen of pedicures and fun conversation.
