A clean and impressive studio setting, with friendly staff that took the time to explain the more technical side of the work. They were able to accomplish everything I had wanted. Toluwanimi Olatunde- Salawu (TDOS): Producing music made easy !!My friend and I had an idea for a song and needed a studio to mix and record. Luckily my friend makes music and all we needed was the equipment to record quality tracks. We reached out to the contact of Unlabeled, let them know what time we needed to be at the studio for and like that we had a set plan!Communication was smooth, instructions were easy to follow on how to access the studio at the time agreed upon. Payment was a hitch as well and we recorded with no issues !!Definitely a place I'd return to for future projects!

Faith Made Music: We’ve been to a lot of studios around Kansas City and all of them have been good to some degree. But our experience at Unlabeled has by far been the best. They make it super easy and affordable to book a session And they have a much quicker project turnaround Then we have witnessed before. What made our experience unforgettable was our engineer. Shout out to Xxtra! She did an amazing job! Not only did she capture a solid recording but she was also there to offer insight and advice to help make our project even better. To us that’s priceless. If you’re looking for a professional studio who knows how to get down to business we highly recommend this place.

Zach, our engineer, was so easy to work with: fast, hard working, and creative. I would use BRC Audio again in a heartbeat. I am very pleased we used BRC for our country rock project. Amber Mainard: My son has been taking drums from Laura Lee Crandall at KC Rock Band & Guitar for a few years and often expresses how grateful he is to have such a positive learning environment and such an encouraging, talented teacher. We've watched him grow as a musician and as a person. He is a part of the Monday night rock band. Laura Lee, Matt and all of the other teachers provide the skills necessary to excel. I would (and do) highly recommend KC Rock Band & Guitar!
Stephanie Kreamer: Our daughter has been taking voice lessons here for over a year now. We have been so thrilled with our choice to attend KC Rock Band and Guitar. They are so professional and understanding. Our daughter has made built great relationships and always enjoys her weekly lessons, but most importantly we are impressed with the development of her voice.

Molly Lund: My daughter expressed interest in playing ukulele at age 7 and, not knowing whether it would "stick" or not, I just Googled "Ukulele Kansas City" and came across KC Rock Band and Guitar, which was close to our home. From the first call with Laura Lee to inquire about lessons, I knew this would be a great experience. Laura Lee and her husband, Matt, are the owners and teachers and generally wonderful people. All of the teachers are fantastic - my daughter now takes ukulele and voice lessons - and it is the most fun, least pressure environment you fill find. They encourage children and support them and find common interest in popular music that makes everyone want to practice more! It's not just popular music, though - all of the teachers are very skilled in what they do and are such talented performers themselves. In over 2 years of weekly lessons, my daughter has never once complained about going. She loves it and so do we!
Ryon McKivergan: My son started in Sept. 2015. We enrolled him in one-on-one lessons with Laura Lee, one of the instructors. He had just started playing drums with the school band in August 2015, so had very little experience before starting classes. By December he was not only learning the full drum set, but he was learning to perform songs as well. Over the summer he also joined one of their Rock Bands and enjoys every minute of it! The instructors have been amazing and very patient with the students. They seem to know what each student needs in order for them to succeed in music. I would highly recommend KC Rock band & Guitar for anyone who wants to get started on their musical journey or to advance the musical knowledge they already possess!!

Jason St. John: Our son is a student of KC Rock Band and loves it! We love it, too! As parents, we appreciate the professional yet personal approach of Matt, Laura Lee, and their team. They are not just outstanding musicians; they are outstanding instructors! They care about each student and work to teach and inspire each to develop, grow, and stretch to new musical heights. It's fun, challenging, and rewarding!
Deb Fleury: My son has played the saxophone for about a year and just had the opportunity to participate in KC Rock Band & Guitar over the summer for the first time. It was such an awesome and memorable experience for him. He was excited to practice (without being nagged by his mom :)) because he knew if he improved, it would help the sound of the whole band. Matt and LauraLee are great motivators and make the entire experience enjoyable for their students! We will definitely do it again!

Nate Hubert: (Edit: Attached the email in question. Owner's response should tell you all you need to know about their customer service) Heard things about this place from people I trusted. Booked a full 10 hour day at the studio, and I expected to get my money's worth. Instead, the engineer took his time, to the point of working to drag things out; the studio piano was very out of tune; and the engineer tried to convince me to leave before we'd finished the 10 hours I paid for. But at the end of the day, I walked away with two very solid unmastered mixes! Here's the kicker - when I reached out about re-recording the piano, getting masters made, and booking more studio time, I never received a reply. Now I'm out several hundred dollars with nothing to show for it. Unprofessional all around.
