UMKC Campus Recreation at Swinney Center: what do users think?
Gladys: It's a beautiful campus I think, but make sure you wear some comfortable shoes, because it's a lot of walking ☺️👍🏽
OneLA Lady: Nice facility for graduation.
Drew Pearson: Solid gym
Amy A: Nice, intimate basketball court for a Division 1 school. Not a bad seat in the place. Very clean. Seats could be more comfortable. Railings were appreciated going up and down the stands. We enjoyed the environment.
Steven Willsie: Roo up! 🤘
Randy Purinton: Roos games are a great time!!
Nirav Khanal: 💯
Kevin Riley: Much better than when they played at municipal. Need to update the signs. A lot of them still say WAC but umkc is in the Summitt
Bobby Caffrey: It’s got everything besides a hot tub. I get a lot out of this place. For $45 / month, it’s hard to beat. Only reason why I say 4 stars is that it’s extremely outdated and kind of dirty.
Chandra sekhar Akkandra: Inside umkc campus
Sally Hawkins: Great place to watch the Roos play...fun family night out, not a bad seat in the house.
Kenneth Walker (KDub): Top of the line facility.
Daanyaal Tariq: Fan of the gym, but they really really need to do something about the rancid smell. Personally have had a few workouts ruined due to the stench. There’s nothing wrong with educating college students about personal hygiene.
Zaneta Berry: Sophomore Year for our Roo!!
Mark Orcutt: Graduation was packed
S Kueckelhan: Great for graduation ceremony.
Kionna Jett: Nice place to have a High School Graduation!
Renita Blackburn: It was a nice place. Went for a graduation and sat comfortably.
Donna Bailey: A beautiful swimming pool
Kristall Pruitt: The graduation for LCPA was beautiful
Felica Jones: Very clean and nice workers. Amazing place to have a convention or banquet

Harry S. Truman Sports Complex: what do users think?
Rj Barth: Beautiful stadium. Poor baseball team
Danny Bland: I like this place
Michelle Woods: We always have a great time here.. good food.. look for specials to get lost out of your mind
S Burkhart: Don't you dare tear Royals Stadium down. What's the point of building these grand monuments to engineering and anthropology only to level them so society forgets them? If they do decide to tear down Arrowhead too, which is on record as the loudest stadium in human history, it will be a crime. Oh, and someone should really fix the $1 hotdogs. Some vendors, they just look old. Who'd wanna eat that?
Michelle Hobbs: It was fun. We always make sure our kids go to at least one game a year for three experiences. We had good seats, and the kids had fun. Luckily, we were blessed with tickets this year because the price of everything is ridiculously. Two bottles of water are $20 FOR WATER...2 BOTTLES! Yes, we paid it. The food you would have thought would be premium, top of the line, great quality. However, that is not the case. The pretzel was fire and so wad the cotton candy. The food from the place we ordered from was not worth the price. It's the place where you have to have tickets in order to go to it. They actually deliver the food to you in the section we sat in.
Trudy Jarvis: Some of the concession stands were not ready for the early opening of the gates, but other than that pretty good. Concert was great!
Jim Drummond: Very interesting
Garret G: Despite being among the five oldest stadiums in their respective sports, Arrowhead & Kauffman remain among the best.
Tech Wizard: The Royals stadium is great. The staff is above par, and make the experience very fun and memorable.
Delfenia Hamilton: Only one thing I didn't like they don't take cash.😦
Chris D: Smallest crowd of the year. There were more employees than fans.
Richard Neumann: Attended a Naturalization Ceremony, at Kauffman Stadium. Over 500 people became United States Citizens 🇺🇸
John Calkins: Wow what a game best ever
Brian: Royals games are great and everyone is always very helpful.
Micheal Vollrath: Good family fun amazing time always
Semaj: Needs shade over the kids park since the stadium is active during Summer months. Lots of things to do while watching the game
Carrie Yebra: Concert 2022Joan Jett poison Motley Crue Def Leppard
Donna T: Went to Concert Great show Defleppard Motley Crue poison 😎 great seats but wow does everything cost so expensive 2 drinks was 45 bucks each time heck they was probably adding TIP themselves i wonderd why they always took my card did the box and gives you no receipt i think not right they shouldn't touch my card or Tap what they want tip on screen i finally told them no dont touch my card wont be returning the food drink prices are $$$$ to high to have fun unless they marked it up for concert 🤔
Ken Byram: It is a no cash venue. They charged $14 for a bottle of water on a 100+ degree day. The Uber and lyft drivers turned off their app and were charging 10 times the price. The cab companies are not allowed to come to the pickup points. You have to walk about a mile to get to a taxi stand. If taxi's aren't allowed the Uber and lyft driver off the clock shouldn't be allowed in either.
Lawrence Leek: Perfect family and group environment
JM L: Fireworks Friday, free t-shirt, and a Royal win with great weather.

Hy-Vee Arena: what do users think?
George (Everbruz): Pretty cool place for some bball. I think it hasn't been cleaned in a while. I think I saw a drink I spilled at a Garth Brooks concert in the 90s. Overall. Good place for some sports tourneys.
Paige Sowell: Great facility. The inside courts of the top floor are difficult to see and it can get very stuffy up in the seating area.
Darryl Coker: This used to be called kemper arena. This is where I saw my first concert earth wind and fire
Karolyn Shikles: Good place for H.S. graduations. Parking directions aren't the best and traffic can be a problem.
Dennis Madrid: Pretty nice store, got som deli food and had a picnic in the parking lot.
Marsha Harris: Amazing basketball facility.
Amy Stout: It was a great place to have a graduation and it also was big enough for it. Very beautiful as well and had alot of things u could get inside or by the front doors.
Mr. BretS.: CONGRATULATIONS PARK HILL TROJANS AND NCC CLASS OF 2023!!!!!! Arena not so congrats, seats to far away couldn't see and volume way to low couldn't hear! Same complaints both Saturday and Sunday. Not a good place for graduations! Wait parking was good with no problems..... Kemper Arena did rock back in the day!
Kate Johnson: Great place
Karen Vice: Plenty of parking and clean arena
Heather .Heater: Nice facility. Came for a graduation and seating as nice. There were some poorly executed plans, though. I don't know if it was the arena, the school, a combination of the two. It was not clear how handicap was supposed to get up to the second floor. It was not clear that you were not supposed to sit on the bottom, and the parking was absolutely terrible. There were no parking attendees, and it took more than an hour to exit the parking lot.Again, the facility was, it was clean, and it was ideal for a graduation of that size.
Jason Frank: It's an arena, full of steel and concrete. It's that you do there that matters.
AquaticFlowable: PHS excellence
will c: The venue is nice, but could use better directing of parking in the lots. Most congestion in the parking lots and roads was lack of knowing which lot were full and everyone driving all over all them to figure out there was parking further around back. And this was the only parking lot left. What should have most likely taken 15 to 20 minutes to park took over 45 minutes due to driving through already full areas that could have been corded off or had traffic direct to by a person to the quickest path to the only parking available. I arrived a half hour earlier than venue start time and was still late to get inside on time. An easy fix just has to be done by venue staff.
Tania Loew: terrible traffic and parking. Not large enough for high school graduation.
Kevin Smith: Pretty big place. Lots of parking. The food was square and the Masonic graduation took forever. Needs some light renovations.
Aaron Fee: Park Hill 2023 graduating class Mason Slayden
Ronald Yeater: Nice place
Tobi San Agustin: Parking was a nightmare, and the inside needs renovated
Melissa Burton: Not sure where to park or doors to go in. Lot of walking

James Hawkins: Ronald Lazaro is the most talented, polite & kind 16 year old player to ever play for Sporting KC!
Brittany Porter: My son loves to play soccer here... Plus I love all the hype from all the soccer ⚽ teams
Marc T: Nice well lit turf fields. As with most soccer complexes, could use a little more parking.
Kabwe Iyombelo: We winning
Kelley Jenison: Great field set up and also good facilities with ample parking. One thing we typically like about the Swope soccer fields is that they are pretty much surrounded by trees meaning LESS WIND than you typically see on a soccer field windy day. Not saying the wind won’t be there, but much better than being in the wide open fields as most soccer fields are.
Ronnie B: refs are horrible, and field Marshall drove across the field in a golf cart during the game, right across the middle.
Shane S: Great place with turf fields. Just wish they could find quality refs and/or refs that show up.
Tamara Quinones: Soccer tournament usually means a lot of people needing to use the restroom. However they didn't seem to be prepared for that because the porta potties were disgusting. Other than that the fields were nice.
leah Oladitan: Great turf fields for all ages
David Knipp: Opening much needed new parking lots.
Wilson Lamont Davis-Robinson: Could be better used as a dog park.
Brett Roberts: Its awesome!!
Jacqueline Brasfield: Awesome
Kris Kitchen: It's a great place to go if you want to get shot or mugged. Good luck parking have fun after dark.
Susan Brees: Amazing place!
RedBullKC: Impeccably nestled in an open space with the ease of entering and exiting! The signs are well posted throughout to find the right field while in traffic! Very impressive! Fields are in wonderful condition, and once you take the entire complex in, you'll be humbled by the amenities throughout! Great job 👏 to the city for the foresight, planning and building! We loved it and we'll return in the near future!
Marsha Wilson: Small but well kept soccer complex with very nice fields and bleacher seating available. Parking and concessions are limited.
Andrew Miller: Very organized
Henry Tiner: Great for kids.

C Jones: My grandson plays baseball here. We always have a good time cheering his team on. It's an older park so could use some sprucing up. And that's the reason I gave it 4 stars.
Jeremy B: Lots of baseball fields.
Lucia Huonker: Have been going here for years as we are now cheering on our 3rd generation of ball players. The park has been improved so much over the years. The fields looked great with easy to see automated scoreboards. We saw clean dugouts, bleachers and open areas from where you could watch games, assemble your team or just visit with family, other baseball fans and friends .Paved walkways made it easy to get around. Concession stand was easy to find as were the porto potties. And, play areas were kept up, visible,, and well placed it appeared.Regarding oarking... We had no trouble finding a parking space but it looked like there were plenty available after the exiting traffic made it out of the park.I didn't get to see the whole park today but I am sure there was lots more to see and many more ballgames to watch. :)
Mike Allen: Fun place for baseball!
joyce mcfarland: It's a nice baseball complex. It has fields for machine pitch and more. There is batting cages, concession stand, playground and port a potty. I wish the parking was better.
Jim Beaird: Sub par, poorly ran.

The J KC - Jewish Community Center: what do users think?
Wendy Johnston: Terrible outdoor pool staff! Parking is atrocious!
Jason Harrison: Called, texted, and emailed multiple times to try to become a member. Never did receive pricing or instructions on how to sign up.
Tavis Turner: I worked at the JCC for 2 years.. built the basketball program up to the highest level recreational program in Overland Park and they terminated me without any communication I had to hear it from a coworker.. horrible professionalism, selfish management, wouldn’t recommend to anyone
Jonae Daniels: Huge community center. The staff are friendly & helpful every visit!
Sara Bierman: I signed up because Bobby the sales guy told me I could get swim lessons for my daughter but when I tried to do that I was told there is a huge waitlist and it would not be likely. But I still had to pay for a full year of a family membership ($129) and was told I had to 40% of the remaining balance if I wanted to cancel. When I tried to cancel in December, Natalie told me it would be cheaper to just keep paying the $129 per month even though I was supposed to get the last month of the year contract free. Lots of misinformation and our family never once used the facilities, would not recommend
Mark Schonwetter: Nice facility with multiple services.
Key Lana: I decided to mention about such an unkind of person in charge of the Food Pantry at JCC - Hannah. She is rude and hateful with such an attitude, her personality doesn't fit for her position that to my knowledge so post to take care and to help people in needs. Hannah never greets nor smils but pushes lots of buttons to show that she is in a full power at the place creating gestapo rules. She also has a tendency to ask shoppers if they are Jewish. Just wondering "WHY", and what difference does it make for her?For coming late to my appointment I been constantly humiliated, abased, acused, and abused by her. Hannah always gave me a dirty looks, and finelly she made a crucial decisions of illuminating me as a shopper at the JCC Food Pantry. And after all she won. Her manager Maggie called me to confirm about that.I'm hurt, shocked, stressed and so upset of such an unfair treatment that I experienced at the Food Pantry of JCC.Obviously for the most Hannah causes lots of changes at the facility that effect shoppers. And the most important that she absolutely doesn't care about people in needs but also causes toxic inviroment at the Pantry. Hannah always complaints being extremely busy, looks like that she just trying to get rid of shoppers, who prefer not to complain with the reason- repercussions.Svetlana K. from Ukraine 🇺🇦Replying to the traditional response which was copied and pasted, and used for several reviews, that's says nothing is going to get done. After all I was brought to the nerves brake being constantly abused by Hannah. I always was such a grateful shopper there for years, and again after all I lost the opportunity to shop at the Pantry as a big punishment but Hannah is still ruling there in her full power.
Svetlana Gilyandikova: Let allGods bless the Founders of JCC, it is amazing place ,arranged with Love to people, very cosy, very comfortable, very clean and with perfect Programes for health. All of my friends love to come here every day and they feel themselves very happy. All the stuff is ready to do everything to make us senior people calm and stronger and feel at home . LOVE and best wishes to you, prosperity and every success
Walter Fink: DO NOT USE THEIR FOOD PANTRYMy review is only on the Food Pantry. I called them to see how their pantry worked. For the first time, you drive up to the circle and they give you food and miscellaneous items. You get a card for your next appointment, which let's you go in to the pantry and shop like a normal shopper. My situation didn't work out like that. They called to remind me of my appointment and you drive up to the circle. I said I did that last time. Then they said on my 3rd visit I can come inside and shop. So, they lied to me the first time. As a result, I don't trust them. Their are plenty of pantries, that honor what they say. I told them to remove my name from their list. The End.
John Hirsch: The J fitness center is my fountain of youth. Go every dayWorkout. Shower, shave, relax. Enjoy a cup of coffee.
Lynn Elman: Wonderful theatre. Excellent productions!!
Gail Sawrie: Went for a production at the White Theatre. Always fun.
Tim Neaves: The J Theather is a hidden jem. Broadway style and level entertainment.. just big enough.. no bad seats.. great super staff..
Ethan Klinock: Love the J!
vania todorova: Great place !
Ann Butner: Lovely facility and staff
Christine Funk: I love going there!
Haley Day: Our family loves belonging to The J! Great fitness center, awesome kids area, and fun pools for the summer!
Chanelle Johnson: I only been going her for a week but this place has amazing, supportive and kind instructors to teach fitness classes. It's very clean. Large facility to easily social distance.
Kieran Ford: The shows here are amazing! 10/10
Evan C: I always really love going here because the staff is insanely nice and helpful. I did not know exactly where to go at first, and they showed me around. I also always feel safe while in the building and I love the recent remolding done because it enhances the experience.

Tiffany Hills Sports Complex: what do users think?
Lynnette Masters: Clean an mapped out nicely.
Mark Watson: Charged my wife and I $23.00 for an hour of baseball. Never going back again.
Marti Turner: Nice complex for players and families.
Rachel Wright: These fields used to be beautiful. Dandelions everywhere in outfield, infield was like concrete/dusty. Bathrooms were horrid, nasty, big puddle in front of sink, no soap. Concessions were way behind, ran out of everything by noon, had to wait for them to make more of anything. As much as we pay to play these shouldn't be issues.
Julie Battista: These fields are not well cared for, if there is any wind the dust is terrible. The bathrooms are dirty and smell badly, no hand soap, the sink barely works for washing your hands. Over all not good experience!!
Stacy Downing: Need to update bathrooms
Soner Soysal: Restrooms are closed to baseball fields. Nothing at soccer field.
Ryan Bogard: Wish there were more softball fields in the northland.
C Jones: My grandson was in a baseball tournament at this facility. The only complaint is their scoreboards. The one on our field was not working. This seems to be contagious since almost every tournament, this fall, we have not had a working scoreboard. None. Nada. Zilch. And not just at this facility. The amount paid to be in these tournaments...and no working scoreboards. Everything else was fine. Except the temperature...at 8:00 it was 35°. But that isn't the facilities fault....just blame them for the non-working scoreboards. Employees were great.
Susan Diviak: Great baseball fields
Carrie Romine Howell: Extremely nice sports complex. Well maintained fields and importantly clean bathrooms. I hear there's a food truck there. It would be nice to have concessions
Alvin Doty: No issues. Had shade and plenty of parking.
Steve: Bathrooms were nasty. The fields were ok. They did have awnings to help with the sun.
Karen Foster: Nice place to watch my grandson play soccer.
Noneyabiz FAQ: Nice enough place but holy God I wouldn't take kids here. There's an fat old pervy umpire with moustache that takes pictures of all the girls. Super creepy. Worse yet there's open drug use everywhere!! Smelled like a Bob Marley concert. In front of kids too and open alcohol flowing like a frat party..
Gerard Aro: The complex is really nice overall. The infields are kinda "gravel-ey", but there's plenty of parking, the fields are very well lit and the outfields are nice and level. The fences also have tubing along the tops to protect both the fence from damage and players from injury (some of it needs to be fixed though).
Brandon Moss: Fields could be a little more level, but otherwise a quite nice ball park
John Shafovaloff: A little run down
Carl Dunkin: This place is a good place to watch ball but a horrible place to get anything to eat or drink
Lisa Manning: Have only been here for a few practices. I can only say the fields are in good maintenance. The fields are maintained and look good. I took off one star because the bathrooms need attention and don't seem to have been cleaned for some time.
Sandy Hollingsworth: Very nice ballpark..
