Best Host Inn Kansas City South: what do users think?
Leonard White: No heat in the hallways water pipe busted bad place to goRooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Eric Hackler: Please go elsewhere, anywhere but here. Nah it's not so bad. I didn't get shot, stabbed or my car stolen. So there's that. Down side is the construction for remodel. But it's for the betterRooms: 2/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 3/5 …More
J W (Sage): The employees I spoke with seemed professional and friendly... other than the "manager." She had an, absolute, monster attitude from hello. I'm not from the area, so I'm not familiar with the location. But after looking into the other reviews I get it now. I would never stay here.Service: 1/5 …More
Jennifer Neitzer: Great value for weekly rates and they drop that rate after 3 weeks stay .Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Bruce Greene: Cool helpful staff there is a few things I wasn't too particular about however they were big enough to make me give these guys a bad rating. I just needed to sleep and shower for the night but they make you get rooms 2 days at a time so I ended up wasting a whole day cuz I only needed one but other than that I slept wellRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Brittney “Freckles”: This used to be a happening place. It's very much run down. Elevators are sketchy working sometimes and not .... Stairs need maintenance don't truly feel safe walking them but I refuse to take the elevator. Only like 1/2 the floors are rentable. Stuff is in rough shape if not missing completely. If you're on vacation or have your kids this is not the place to be. Check it out for yourself.Oh and be sure you acknowledge anyone who speaks to u. My friend didn't hear the owner taking to him, he was minding his own biz and the owner assumed he was being ignored and he pulled a gun on my friend. Just saying you might think twice or more before staying here
Shelley Miller: I didn't stay here cuz of the dog clause they put in their paperwork. Didn't want to be put out of an $80 for having a dog in there. Something several ppl do. Whatever. And now the elevator is broken... So u gotta go down under the lobby, across the bldg, and up so many stairs in a dimly lit smelly stairwell.....Eff all that noise!
Alex Strutz: Rooms were clean enough staff was friendly enough location is right off the highway but my overall vibe for this location did not sit well with me.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 2/5 …More
Paula Reese: Would be nice if there was a phone number soI could contact them
Jahaziel Juarez: Was at a party hosted here. Horrible customer service from the people that work there. AC was broken/off during the whole event. 85 max capacity stuffed with more than 100 people at a time
Anthony Cappoferri: I rented a UHaul from Best Host Inn for the first time on the weekend of 6/3-6/4. I could not have been more impressed with his professionalism, flexibility, and overall graciousness. Usually I pride myself on being pretty squared away. This weekend was not one of those times! Moving took WAY longer than I thought it will. And each time I called to request an extension or Manny followed up to see how things were going he was above and beyond understanding and professional. I cannot recommend renting a UHaul from Manny and his team more highly.
Imogene Grant: The hotel has no amenities. No cable. Worst customer service. Should be shut down by fire department and health department

Donna Wakefield: My reason for choosing this hotel was the airport shuttle offered and it did not disappoint. Friendly, helpful drivers and a good schedule. There is also a restaurant on site, which I didn't know about but according to a couple of guests I spoke to, it's pretty good. I left before breakfast unfortunately. The room was clean, quiet and well kitted out.

Deedee Sayre: Very positive experience and we highly recommend hotel to everyone visiting Kansas City!Rooms: Very clean and has everything we need.Safety: We feel very safe staying in this hotel. And the staff seems very concerned for oursafety. Our plane landed after 12 midnight with the knowledge that the hotel airport shuttle service ended at 11pm. When I called hotel to inform that we were still checking in though very late, the front desk personnel volunteered to pick us up at the airport. We did not have to call for Uber. Very concerned personnel. And such an amazing service!Highly recommend!Food & drinks: Best breakfast! Very good food presentation and everything clean. For the first time in our 20+ years annual hotel hopping, a very pleasant lady is sitting near the breakfast area paying attention to the customers needs, so enthusiastic to teach how everything works. I highly recommend everyone visiting Kansas City to stay here and enjoy what this hotel can offer.
Chad van Zandt: Good stay and friendly staff. The Bistro inside is small, but offers a few good food items and drinks.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More

Best Western Premier Kansas City Sports Complex Hotel: what do users think?
Jake Talbott: This hotel is not a 3-star hotel. It's a 2 or 2.5-star hotel. We stayed at a downtown KC hotel for 2 nights, then moved out to this hotel because friends were staying here for the KC Royals game. The downtown hotel was a true 3-star hotel, significantly nicer finishes, larger rooms, newer construction and it was only $20 more per night. Based on pics and "premier" in the name, we felt duped into staying here and I immediately regretted it when we pulled into the parking lot. It looks and feels old and rundown with some fresh paint and newer carpet. The pool was also closed (by order of the Health Dept) during our stay which was very disappointing. I will not stay here again.
Daniel Weaver: Super clean room. Close to KC and area attractions. Especially close to the Chief's home at Arrowhead. Easy access to Starlight. Lots of food and drink nearby.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Joe Kaiser: Really unusually clean hotel, and very nice people. Breakfast buffet was excellent
Penny Stewart: Wifi and television reception very spotty. I've stayed in 4 hotels Kansas City area this is the only hotel that had problems with reception.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Kelly Maes: Walking distance to Royals and Chiefs fields. Great service.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Kelsey Cain: Such a great experience here! La’Toya at the front desk was amazing & super helpful! All the staff were kind & attentive. Breakfast is AMAZING! Rooms are nice and clean, fun bar area, and great location if you’re looking to catch a royals or chiefs game!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Mary K: This "premier" hotel is anything but. Very noisy a/c units. Questionable safety of parking lot. Numerous people have reported that their cars have been broken into in April and May 2023. There are two signs in parking lot that state all liability is on car owner, not the hotel. Spoke with Roman the manager who stated he'd hired security to patrol parking lot. None of this was explained at check in. We checked out and went to a better hotel which was $60 cheaper and a huge suite. (Hilton Homewood Suites). No refund on this hotel of course but we were not taking a chance in the middle of a 4000 mile trip.
mg g: FIRST CHECKED IN ON FRIDAY EVENING. LONG LINE AND WAS HECTIC. WAS WARNED BY STAFF AND OTHER GUESTS NOT TO PARK PAST THE END OF THE BUILDING OR IN THE LOWER PARKING LOT I GUESS A LOT OF VANDALISM. INSIDE THE HOTEL IS NICE. AC DID NOT WORK REAL WELL SET ON 63 ROOM STILL WARM. TOILET FLUSHES SLOW AND SHOWER DRAINS SLOW. BREAKFAST IS GOOD BUT BAR AND RESTRAUNT IS EXPENSIVE AND BASIC NOT OUTSTANDING. STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY.
Bill Webb: Only good thing about our hotel stay was the night manager Marcus. Hotel is currently being used as a homeless shelter. Did not feel safe whatsoever.Safety: Currently housing significant number of homeless.
Charles Divin: The pool was out of order, but breakfast was good housekeeping was excellent, front desk helpful, bar ran out of wings but other than that I was happyRooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More

Scott Case: Said it had spa..... No spa, laundry room broke down. Breakfast wasn't good. Biscuit and gravy, more like hockey Puck and gravyRooms: 4/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Shawn Selsor: Our room was really clean, bed was very comfy and the staff was super nice!! Had a great stay for an event at Arrowhead. This would be the only place I would stay within walking distance for a game day stay! (Just wish the prices didn’t skyrocket on those dates)
MFPhoto1: This is a nice hotel with clean, good sized room, and quiet at nights. It is within walking distance of the sports complex. However there is nothing else of interest in the immediate area. I would not stay here again due to the location, except if I am going to a baseball or football game. The hotel restaurant/bar has a limited menu, Mainly it is deep fried bar food. The only other restaurants in the area are Taco Bell and Subway. The staff was friendly and helpful -- provided you could find them. The front desk was often unmanned, and calls from the room often went without anyone picking up at the desk.Unlike most other hotels, the air conditioning did not blow on the bed, so I had a comfortable sleep.

Sherri Berger: Omg...love, love this hotel. It's a beautiful boutique hotel. Everyone working there was so nice, friendly, and helpful. They bent over backwards to make my stay a good one...and I got upgraded to a large, beautiful suite which added to the incredibleness of my trip.Rooms: Exquisite decor...very peaceful and elegant. Lots of shopping and fun things to do. We had a lovely stay!
Debbie Simpson: The accouting department is lacking. I always have to request an itemized receipt more than 2 times. As of today I've emailed 3 times for 3 different dated receipts for my manager. sitll nothing. Now I am going to contact the General Mgr.Noteworthy details: Need to train accounting to get the job done
Tiffany Pollard: This was my first stay at The Raphael Hotel, Autograph Collection. I stayed in a 1 king suite for 2 nights (Sunday - Tuesday) for a work event.ARRIVAL/CHECK-IN: I arrived at 1:30p; check-in took a couple minutes max. Very efficient!ROOM: Prior to arrival, I contacted the hotel to request a quiet room away from elevators. I was assigned room #909.• Amenities: Hair dryer, Keurig, luggage racks, mini fridge (keeps drinks very cold!), robe, safe; no microwave• Bath: The only real issue with my stay - loved the deep tub & excellent pressure, but the water bounced between scalding hot & freezing cold. It happened both mornings & one evening, so it wasn't a fluke. In fact, I couldn't even stand under the shower head the second day.• Bed: Bed was decently comfortable, but the sheets were rough/scratchy. I'm glad I brought my own soft pillow.• Cleanliness: Very clean! Housecleaning tidied up my room before 1p the next day.• Decor: Standard• Heating/cooling: Comfortable temp, quiet unit• Sound: Very quiet• TV: Smart television. Clear reception w/ decent selection of channels.• View: 49th & Wornall (back of the hotel)• WiFi: Strong, worked well in room & conference areaCUSTOMER SERVICE: Excellent all-around, including the bellhop, front desk, valet, even the chat feature. kristine cabrera: We booked because of the indoor pool but it was being redone while we were there so that was a bummer but it was fine. The breakfast in the morning was okay, the tater tots were fire. If we’re in the area again, we’d probably stay there again as long as the pool is open. Perfect if you’re passing through and there’s a QT across the street if you decide you need a midnight snack
Austin Armstrong: Absolute DO NOT STAY HERE. Multiple vehicles were broken into and either robbed or attempted to be stolen my first week here. My truck was broken into in the parking lot along with several other trucks with thousands of dollars of damage and lost tools, luggage etc. Stay as far away as possibleSafety: Crime ridden area and highly targeted by thieves.

Shawn Obradovich: Staff is rude. They don't clean up the room. Had to take my own towels out. Swept the floors myself. The sheets were already dirty and had cigarette burns in them. The breakfast was always the same and old as if it was constantly reheated. They didn't have their pool open. Their bar was closed down. Definitely won't be back was an overall bad experience.
Lacey Sugden: No hot tub. Room dirty outlets not working. elevator not working. Nobody told us we had all our stuff loaded on a cart ready to go to the room. Asked them to look at outlets never did. Asked for one extra pillow never got that. Also breakfast ends at 9:00 on a weekend or maybe 8:30 as my kids went down and had to have cereal as they were cleaning up already. Over all not recommended
Joseph H. Garvey: People working there hate their jobs. The breakfast attendant did get a personal best on Candy Crush. Coffee was watered down. The pool water was probably stronger…Noteworthy details: Unfortunately it is under going a remodel. Appears it will be a good basic hotel. No frills.
Jeffrey Holmes: I come here 3 days a week I'm an over the road driver for ABF Freight. The rooms are clean and fresh the beds are very comfortable with good sheets. The staff especially the front desk are amazing. Maria is exceptional and really professional.Rooms: Wonderful room
natasha johnson: I would give this hotel 0/5 stars if i could. Dirty tub, dirty walls, broken tv, floor wasn’t clean, foul odor
Sam Bony: I have booked a room for this summer. The reviews are awful. Has any of these things been addressed?Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Boogiedat: The front desk people were really nice but it was a gross hotel lots of damage on the inside and lots of trash outside of the building. The room was okay no bed bugs but plenty of bugs from the water damage on the ceiling the AC didn’t work it was stuck at 74 and the window was stuck shut we could only get it open a crack. The elevator was out of service as well but the stairs weren’t bad. Will not be coming back to this hotel though. There was a ton of kids having fun so I guess kid friendly.
Jack Chesnut: I booked this room in a rush. After arriving and seeing the sad shape of the building and the shady people working here, I wish I would have taken the time to read the reviews. I feel like I'm in a third world country... Don't book a room hereRooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More

Rosalie Rollings: Check in was ok. Room was a disaster. Very poor house keeping. Finger prints all over large glass window. Very noisy and you could hear everything. The free breakfast was a huge disappointment. What was offer online is not what you get. Very run down and unkept. For a best western I expected some place better. I will not recommend nor will I ever return.

21c Museum Hotel Kansas City: what do users think?
Joshua Clark: The 21c in Kansas City is absolutely phenomenal! I cannot rate the cleanliness high enough, every single spot throughout was flawlessly clean. There were no paint chips or spots in the bathroom that could have been touched up more. What I loved most was how bright and tall the hallways into the rooms were, it was a great detail that could not be missed. Lastly, even though the hotel wasn’t offering valet at the time, the front desk agent was able to recommend secure parking at a very close location. All around, this is an amazing hotel!
Shelby Bolton: Rooms: Our room had a broken mini fridge and a broken coffee machine, kind of outdated, the water left a weird film feeling, breakfast was $15 extra in the restaurant. The art gallery was definitely a cool bonus, it was pet friendly.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Amanda Personett: The mother's day brunch was awesome.
Wildcat 6319: Wow! Admittedly I was a bit concerned since this is a downtown hotel that was significantly less than the others on Big Slick weekend. Location is just a couple of blocks from the streetcar. Parking garage just across the street is $10 overnight. Check in and check out were a breeze! Long walk from the elevators to our room, but you did upgrade us so we’re good!
Justine Newquist: These guys used the space in the historic building cleverly, making both the guest rooms and galleries feel very spacious. Bonus, there is fantastic breakfast, kind staff, and a parking garage right across the street. I only stayed one night, but felt like I had enough time to appreciate the work put into the place.
Chuck Sanders: Loved it and the restaurant is incredible!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ghost 21a: It was ana amazing hotel. I just would have expected better service and more amenities for the price.Noteworthy details: It is literally an art gallery as well as a hotel.
Katja Thomas: I’ve stayed here before “pre-pandemic”. It was an excellent stay which is why I booked again. Overall a good experience. However, they switched from individual soap, lotion, etc…I don’t like using “shared” toiletries. It isn’t tamper proof. You can buy your own in the shop (they used to be free).Housekeeping missed some stuff but since I only stayed one night I didn’t complain and cleaned on my own. (You could tell they just did a refresh, it didn’t even smell like someone did full housekeeping) However, I did have them come and dust because you could see the layers of dust on the overhead pendant lights. (The sink overflow was really gross 🤢 you could tell they never clean it).Rooms: Decor.Safety: No complaints on safety.Food & drinks: Limited. 75% of the affordable menu is seafood, shell fish, or has mushrooms in it. For me, the price was not worth it.($$$$). The food was good but if everything around wasn’t closed…I probably wouldn’t have eaten at the hotel.Noteworthy details: The rotating art is the attraction and the staff is very friendly.
Pudding Tame: Again the wonderful 21C chain comes through with great food and great art. The restaurant is particularly delightful with old-fashioned carved wood and stained glass windows.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
Sam Keske: Entertainingly quirky, modern hotel that is very much also a 24-hour museum for guests. Decent spot, cost to the City Market, and quiet. It's an old building, so the room AC may struggle. Nespresso makers in the rooms are a nice touch. And you're encouraged to interact with the blue penguins :)Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Quiet …More
Craig Phillips: We had such a wonderful weekend here!Rooms: Comfy king size bed! Desk and housekeeping staff were awesome,.Nearby activities: Area is full of bars and restaurants.Walkability: Close to the tram and the farmrs market.Food & drinks: The savoy has been around since 1903. The bar has a real bartender.....not just a drink pourer.Noteworthy details: Loved the penguins!
Santos Moreno: Overall, I would not recommend the 21C Hotel to anyone. The environment is just too depressing, and the rooms are too small to be comfortable. If you're looking for a relaxing and enjoyable hotel experience, I suggest looking elsewhere.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Charity Hawley: I had really high hopes for this hotel, but our stay was underwhelming and the service at the restaurant was abysmal. We stayed 2 nights. The bed was comfortable enough, but the air conditioning has a sensor on it, so if there is no movement, it turns off. I understand this during the day when people are out and about, but while sleeping? The first night we woke up sweaty and uncomfortable. I complained and the engineer was sent up to turn the sensor off so the next evening wouldn't be so hot.Housekeeping came during our 2nd day while we were gone, gave us fresh towels, took one dirty coffee cup since we ended up sharing it (see decaf comment below.) The bed wasn't made. Used wash rags and towels weren't taken and the coffee cup they took wasn't replaced/cleaned.I also requested caffeinated coffee because we had 3 decafs and 1 regular. Someone came up carrying 4 decafs and when I mentioned that, she left and said she'd see what she could find. Never saw her again. Now for the restaurant. It was Mother's Day weekend and I had prepaid for breakfast and got 4 vouchers. We decided to use them Sunday morning and the host(ess) said they could get us in for the special brunch. It was $50 a person, so our vouchers only covered a little more than 1 meal. That's fine. They seated us. We sat for a few minutes with no server stopping by, so we went into the buffet room to fix our plates. The buffet wasn't bad, but the salmon was cold, quiche was slightly undercooked and cold and the beef looked a bit too rare. These were all things I likely would have not complained about. Except, it seems our server decided not to EVER come to our table. I asked who I assumed was a manger if we had a server about 10 minutes into our meal. He said we did, and asked if he could get us anything. We asked for sodas.20 to 30 minutes after we were seated and had finished a plate of food, I went to the host stand and asked again if we had a server because we had not seen them once. A different manager wearing a suit was standing there with about 3 other people and the hostess said she'd told the server (called her by name, but I won't mention it here.) I assumed the other manager would have told the server also when we asked for sodas. We would have loved to have had a bloody mary or something from the mimosa bar and likely would have ordered some oysters. But...no server asked or brought us the champagne or vodka for the bloody mary and mimosa bar and after 30 minutes, we were just mad.The place is small....so I can only assume she decided she didn't want to wait on us. At that point a different server Katelyn (sp) came over and apologized and said she would be our new server and was the saving grace for our last maybe 15 minutes or so there. We travel quite a bit. And for a 4 star hotel, I would have expected a lot more thoughtfulness and attention to detail regarding coffee/room setup and house keeping. I cancelled our 3rd night and we went to a different hotel for our last night in Kansas City.As for the Savoy restaurant, make sure they point out your server when they seat you, or just skip it altogether. The food wasn't worth $50 a plate even if the service had been good.
Brian Patton: This certainly a very overpriced hotel with very little to show for it. I’ve traveled all over the US and world and there’s no way it’s ranked 15th in the US. Most Hampton Inns are cleaner, better equipped and more luxurious. The breakfest buffet was poor and poorly serviced. The bathrooms and carpets were unclean and the mattresses were not premium. It would be my last choice to stay again. Not even close to an Omni, JW Marriott or Hyatt. Just because it has art doesn’t mean it’s a quality stay.
E A: So very disappointing. It's Anniversary weekend.... No children, no work, no stress, just wanted to stay somewhere fun/unique and eat good food around town. The bar was not set high folks. Walk into the room....easily 90 degrees. I walk downstairs and say our air isn't working could we please get a room with AC. this is when staff informs me... "it's motion activated, it should cool down within the hour".... It's July in kc, it's 95+ outside so whenever you leave your room to go get food or drink or... you want to sleep.... Your room goes up to 90+ degrees....literally never gets cool enough (weren't even vents in the bathroom it never dropped temp ever). To get the AC to not turn off at night while we slept we asked for a box fan and I sat a dress in front of it so it would blow and keep the motion activator engaged. We needed the fan with it being 80+ degrees constantly in our room anyways. Not to mention there's an empty mini bar fridge in your room that you have to pay to use,ok fine. they say call for a regular mini fridge if you want one at no charge but when we asked for one we were told there weren't any. So we asked could we just use the mini bar fridge in our room and not be charged (it's an amenity listed on site) we were laughed at and told no way. I don't get it. So if you don't like AC or basic comfort this place would be for you I guess. But if you actually want a 4 star hotel that offers more amenities than the best Western, this isn't for you. We checked out next day and we were supposed to be there three nights.Rooms: So uncomfortableNoteworthy details: NO AC NO AMENITIES NO COMFORT
Adam: The hotel room had no heat; when I complained, the hotel staff and management explained to me that the hotel is in eco mode… they then passed me off twice to engineering so that they could also tell me the hotel was in eco mode. The solution was to offer me more blankets but using heat was not going to happen. There is also something strange about the shower water. It’s hard to explain, but it felt gooey.
Tom Simpson: Great vibe. Art throughout the hotel is interesting and well described. The neighborhood was meh. Walkable to other restaurants and the street car but the place was surrounded by giant surface parking lots. Which made parking super easy BTW, but we like to walk. Walkable to City Market depending on your tolerance. Room was very nice, free coffee.
Sheryl Ragland: Positive: great location and walkable to several restaurants and music venuesNegative:1. Room on top floor. Poor water pressure was a little more than a trickle.2. TV service did not have NCAA tournament channels.3. Onsite art museum closed for an event, so Not open 24 hours as 21c advertises.4. For the price, we paid expected 1-3 not to be an issue. Overpriced for KC market @ a number north of $400 for one night.5. Left message with front desk manager to share my experience. No call back... Hence my first Ever negative written review.

Best Western Plus Seville Plaza Hotel: what do users think?
Ann Jones: We loved our stay. All of the help was friendly and helpful. Parking is easy and free. One block to starbucks and next door to a wonderful Italian restaurant.Walkability: One block to starbucks and close to country club plaza though hilly. Great Italian restaurant next door.
Maya Griswold: If I wanted hidden fees I would stay at an air bnb. Got there to be told there is a $100 amenities fee when there are pretty much no amenities. A cheap bagel breakfast and parking is not worth $100! This place is pretending to be a nice fancy hotel but is no where near close to being one. Wish I had stayed somewhere else.
Wayne Scott II: Well, this is hard. They almost get a 5 star for trying. Perfect? No. But it was nice and absolutely it was nice for the price and location. It was half the price of the place we stayed a few weeks earlier and one month before that.Rooms: So soNearby activities: EverythingFood & drinks: The breakfast situation was meh. Megan: Close to great shopping, endless choices for diningRooms: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value …More
Brianna Shaffer: This was a Priceline surprise hotel. The overall hotel wasn't bad. You can tell it used to have smoking rooms, but it is what it is with that.As a solo female traveler, the hotel seemed a little more distant for walking to restaurants alone. I was walking past the Vietnam memorial wall and a homeless guy laying on the ground next to his full shopping cart kept yelling seemingly at me. I just turned around and went back. I'm from two states away and was paying thru. Two years ago I stayed at another hotel closer to the restaurants and didn't have that same feeling.
Jacob Laws: Do yourself a favor, don't stay here. The staff were nice, and were doing their best with what is honestly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.My bathroom smelled of sewage, and gnats were flying out of the sink faucet. The beds, while pretty comfy, creaked loudly whenever I would turn. There was seemingly no AC in the hallways, making them sweltering in the Missouri summer. The saddest part of the whole experience was the complimentary "breakfast", if you could even call it that. Their breakfast was just stale bread and bagles in a bread box with a toaster that didn't toast, some apple and orange juice and some yogurt in a wine cooler. They said they don't do eggs or bacon anymore because of COVID, but the pandemic was 3 years ago. Why even advertise a breakfast if that's what's waiting for your guests? The hotel seems to be in a constant state of disrepair. Paintings covered up holes in the wall, there were signs all over the place saying how they are undergoing sewage and water projects, and I even overheard a lady complain about how one of the hotel treadmills caught on fire.I said this once and I will say it again. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here.By the way, their website advertises that if you call them, you'll get the best prices for their rooms. This is not true; use Trivago (or another website like that) instead.

galena Ellis: We had a pleasant experience at this hotel. The location was great and the price was right.
Sissy Neal: Beautiful location with ample parking and comfy rooms. Downside is the breakfast is very lacking. Both days we stayed we were offered mini cinnamon rolls, bagles, bread and yogurt. Drinks are coffee, water, apple and orange juice. Traveling with small children and it just didn't provide many options for them either. I will say the breakfast area was kept quite clean and staff was very friendly. But keep in mind the limited breakfast. There was road construction going on outside and loud activity at night considering it right in downtown but otherwise satisified.
Lucas Fogaca: Amazing hotel! My family and I were very well received and well taken care of by the staff during our almost 3 week stay. The location of the hotel is also great, being close to several bus routes that lead to various destinations, including the downtown . Many thanks to the staff who were very helpful and to the receptionist Victor who spoke Portuguese and gave us many tips on how to make the most of our stay. By the way, the breakfast offered by the hotel is hearty and delicious as well. I will definitely stay at this hotel again whenever I come back to KC.
Christianne Fogaça: My family and I had an amazing experience at the Seville Plaza hotel! The location is perfect. It is walking distance from the Plaza, and Westport. Besides that, it is close to the public transportation, which makes it easier to go downtown. The staff was awesome. They took great care of us, from the front desk to the room maids.Special thank you to Victor who assisted us during our stay.Victor could speak Portuguese and that helped us a lot!Breakfast was delicious and we felt safe through our stay.Overall we had a blast! We highly recommend this hotel!Thank you!Rooms: EspaçosoNearby activities: Restaurantes e lojasWalkability: Dá para ir a pé ao Plaza.
D Billy: Rooms are a little old school but the hotel is well kept with great staff and you can't beat the location so close to the plaza!!!!Rooms: For the price and location it's ok no embassy suites but if you need to save a couple bucks great option 👍Nearby activities: Plaza and many parksSafety: Very safe and comfortableWalkability: Can easily walk to plazaFood & drinks: Free glass of wine in the afternoon. Nice touch 👌Noteworthy details: Overall, nice bang for your buck, I'd say after my second time staying here
Timothy Taylor: Location is next to a gas station that was frequented by loud music playing and screaming people both nights of my stay. One period lasted 3 hours till the police showed up - and took 30 minutes of sirens and PA system orders to leave the property. It was like an episode of Cops!My room has brown carpet - always suspicious. My bath mat had a huge hole in it that couldn’t be an oversight. The o only ice machine was on the top floor - not very convenient to their first floor guests. The free breakfast was pretty basic - dry bagels and bread. The yogurt was bad. Tiny cups were provided for the juice. You had to go to the front desk for decaf coffee. The cinnamon rolls Sunday morning were tasteless. Avoid.
Ryan Specht: Horrible customer service. They cancelled my reservation because I was 15 minutes late and then wouldn't rent me a room till 4pm the next day forcing me to look for a hotel in the middle of the night. Will never stay here!Service: 1/5 …More

Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kansas City South: what do users think?
Kristin Ford: Someone was banging on my door late at night when I was trying to sleep. The person didn't sound drunk to me, but were looking for their friend (I guess). Found a bug of some kind hanging out on my shoulder when I got up to use the bathroom at 2am. Oh and there was some guy out front, dancing to the most-annoying rap song ever made at 8am when I was loading my car up to get the heck out of there. Not a good look for Days Inn. Will avoid this place if I ever come back to Kansas City.
Shaun McFadden: If they spent a little bit of money and fixed the place up, it would be a nice place. It is clear their maintenance budget is not up to the task.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5Hotel highlights Great value …More

Mellan: This was a horrible stay. Not only did the room smell musty and like dirty socks, really gross. There was also drug deals going on in the parking lot. JJ Evers: Stayed here over the holiday weekend. Horrible customer service from the front lady. She was rude and she did not move for anything!!! midmo grommin: They shorted me one night after already paying claimed it was my fault and they told me they threw away all my belongings. After digging in their trash and causing a scene they suddenly found my belonging minus a few valuable items. They are thieve. And will steal your stuff. They told me I couldn’t prove it since no one knows what was in the room. The worst hotel experience of my life
ML Smith: Never even saw my room. Was told I needed a credit or debit for 100 deposit... after I already paid for room. When I showed card (pic below) I was then told they don't except prepaid... and suggested I cancel to which they're is no refund... bad form..Service: 1/5 …More

Priska Alamsjah: I would rate 0 star, if I could.Beds were not made. Toilet was dirty. Front desk person at 10:30pm on 5/4/23 was rude, instead of apologizing for the dirty room, she blamed it on the new house keeper, and would not move me to another room. When asked to refund the charges, she would not answer, and called me "stupid". She should not have a job in customer service. We booked the family suite, with 2 connecting rooms. However, do not bring families here. This place does not feel safe, very dirty, and smells of old cigarettes smoke & marijuana. Stay away! For $140+ a night, I expect a much better accommodation and service. Left this property and moved to a Hilton hotel.Shame on Days Inn for badly managing this property. And shame on Wyndham for letting the manager get away with this poor quality of maintenance and service.
Steven Senart: The room was dirty, I found someone else's leftover food and napkins behind the nightstand while looking for a wall socket to plug in my phone, speaking of the wall socket, it shocked me cause it was broken, the water pressure sucked, but I was tired and needed to sleep. The bed was comfortable the waffle station was awesomeRooms: 2/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Melanie Shafer: This felt like a 2 star hotel, not sure how they got 2.5. The hotel, including our room, was dirty. There were multiple things damaged, like a whole in the closet door. Robyn Kendle: Overcome with an awful smell when entering the hotel. Staff was friendly, and very helpful. Drinks from bar were well crafted. Room didn’t smell like the main floor, but was stuffy. Bathroom was full of hair. What sealed the deal for me was the comforter on the bed. I’m guessing this is blood, but not sure.
Brent Winterberg: I was there for a seminar, not an overnight guest. Facilities were clean and staff friendly. The only problem was trying to get into the hotel from the parking garage. Required to call security to get in, and they don't seem to be right there monitoring it, so it took a while each time.
judi jewell: So disappointing! Hotel desk staff terrible. If you have a truck valet park because you have to park on the roof and the door into the building doesn't not work. Valet staff great. Our room was ok but not totally clean. Bugs on the floor between the furniture and the walls. We choose not to look under the bed. Staff did not care to do anything after multiple requests. Do not waste your money at the IC. Stay at a different hotel in the plaza.
galena Ellis: This place is perfect if your looking for a quaint, cozy, and clean hotel
Isaac Urrutia: We love it here, however , go out and enjoy the food on the Plaza in other words do not eat there unless you have to, nice place great view from our room
Jeffrey Gonzales: Location was great and the lobby and common areas felt like old fashioned luxury. But once you got to the room it was not luxurious. I found more than a few black curly hairs on the bathroom floor, toilet, and shower. The bed didn't have a fitted sheet, it was just a flat sheet over the plastic sheet. The restaurant was sad. I ordered a salad during the lunch rush of only 3 tables. The salad took 20 minutes to come out with no dressing. I asked for dressing and waited 15 minutes but I had to go. I was still charged $18 for that salad. I give 3 stars instead of 1 because the location is great and the bartenders were fantastic.Rooms: Dirty. Gross. Not well maintained.Food & drinks: Food was sad. Drinks were stellar!
Ken Hetherington: Unexpected and welcome upgrade to a Presidential Suite for a 9 night stay. But overall definitely not 5*. Mostly 2* with mostly bad service and restaurant manager the most rude I have encountered anywhere. Food: appalling to very poor. Total lack of staff inc agency staff without knowledge of standards. A few exceptions but overall bad! Very poor communications so hotel problems, of which were many, were not forewarned or explained. Major problems with telecommunications systems- especially phones but also sketchy internet. The exception was Club Lounge Steward - Don who understood guest satisfaction and went extra mile to make guests feel special and provide a great ambiance. Nevertheless the food in Club Lounge was appalling in both quality and range - Inedible! I surmise hotel lacked competent chef(s).
scott caldwell: Great hotel right off the plaza. Perhaps a little outdated, but the service and view of the plaza is stellar.
Lynett Cross: This was a great location for my business conference. Plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ashley Coursey: The rooms were so quiet and the balcony view was amazing! The staff was also super helpful and friendly.Noteworthy details: Beautiful balcony view.
Megan Roedel: We have stayed here numerous times and it has really gone down hill. The staff are great but the room was absolute garbage for the price. The air conditioning was set at 72 degrees and you can't adjust it, the wallpaper is pealing off, stains on the carpet and furniture, the exhaust fan in the bathroom doesnt work, and the bathroom doorknob kept coming off. We won't be staying here again.
Masa Kanayama: I stayed in this hotel few times before. But this time, the service was terrible at front desk. The front desk person does not even know the room category I booked and she assigned to me two steps down graded room despite I paid the price. Finally the manager came in and corrected her mistake. The room balcony needs to be renovated since there are mold like green stains in the balcony. Overall it was a disappointment stay here. This is not the same intercontinental I knew before.
Bill Holbrook: Was upgraded to a king suite. Room was big with two balconies and two full bathrooms. Staff was very attentive and quick to help however they could. The area is nice and plenty to do within walking distance.A/C in bedroom was not working but they had someone come up immediately when I called the front desk to inform them. Will definitely be back!Pictures are from the concierge lounge and from the two room balconies (5th floor).
Nathan Cabeen: This probably the most expensive hotel I have stayed in and also the worse experience I've had. No ac in the room, they came in to fix it and it still didn't work. Told us they'd meet us at a different room. Waited 30 minutes and they didn't show up. Finally got into a room with working ac 3 hours after we checked in. They refused to give any kind of a refund and barely apologized to us. Would not recommend and will not be back.

eleanor Knox (ekmama): I was wary of staying here after reading some of the reviews, but I'm so glad I did. The rooms were clean and well kept. Huge tv. Plenty of pillows. The ac worked fantastic. Plenty of power outlets and USB ports for charging all of your devices. The pool was a little cold, but a nice reprieve from the hot weather outside. The laundry is nice. Clean newer washers and dryer. $2 to wash, $2 to dry.The breakfast was outstanding. They had the usual fare of toast, bagels, juice and cereal, but also muffins, granola, oatmeal, yogurt, waffles and fresh fruit. Eggs bacon and hash brown patties also. The coffee was fresh and hot and available all the time, not just breakfast time. The service was exceptional. From check in to check out, every single employee I spoke to was kind and helpful with a SMILE on their faces.Truly a great experience beginning to end. Thank you so much!!Rooms: Rooms were clean and well kept.Safety: Felt safe.Walkability: Wendys, burger king, waffle house, and QT gas station all super close.Food & drinks: Snacks and drinks available in the lobby to purchase.
Sheila Thomas: I enjoyed my stay at this hotel it was very clean and comfortable as soon as you walk in you could tell they keep up with cleanliness and maintenance. The guy at the front desk was polite and had good customer service. Everything about this hotel was great and our room smelled great and it was very very clean. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL FOR A NICE GET AWAY. 5 STARS FROM US IT WAS WELL WORTH IT. Sky Mora: 👍The staff are very friendly and helpful. The workout room is clean and although small, gets the job done very well. The pool is nice and calm too. Breakfast was amazing, room was very clean and well-kept when we checked in. The hotel itself is in a wonderful location and although it can be pricy, it is worth it. I felt like I was in a luxury hotel. Definitely high end and fancy. Overall, good stuff! Would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends who want somewhere nice to stay. The lobby has coffee and hot chocolate, along with soda and even monster energy. The prices are fair on the food and drink available. If you are unhappy with the selection of breakfast or drinks, just head to waffle house or the gas station. They are both really close by. Finally, I love the flowers out front!!👎The pillows were a bit hard, but I brought one of my own so it wasn't too much of an issue. There was also a dried booger or something on one of the spring boxes. You have to flip through the channels of the tv without knowing which one you are on, and the ice machine on the 2nd floor does not work. I also could not find the stairs, which could be a safety issue if there were a fire. No vending machines either.❤️ Shout-out to the manager and staff for mailing post cards, I hope my family gets them.Rooms: Very cleanFood & drinks: Good breakfastNoteworthy details: Nice staff, clean rooms, good soaps and bath bars
