My brows never grew out or filled in right after I succumbed to the pencil-thin brow look from the 90's.I often go without makeup, but never without my brows as they frame my eyes. I feel that your eyes and brows are the 1st features that people notice when they meet you. So I want to leaving a good 1st impression. So I hate coming back from a run or from any activity to discover that I now have a uni-brow, as I had unknowing wiped half or an entire brow off by accident. Because my brow shape and color will probably change as I age, I want the option to adjust my look with my aging face. That initial microblading lasted nearly 3 years. She was as professional and meticulous this time as she was the first time I experience her work. I am about 7 days out from my last microblading touch-up. Kristine was spot-on with my brow shape. A C: I don't even know where to begin, AMAZING experience. When I got there, I was welcomed by Ms. Kristine herself, as she finished with a client I couldn't believe how beautiful and welcoming the waiting area was. She had different teas, coffee, hot chocolate, all different kinds of snacks to choose from. Then when I went back to have my eyebrows done (shaped and tinted) it was an awesome experience all the way around. I have dealt with eyebrow issues my ENTIRE life. They have always been very light, sparse and I've had to pencil them in. It's always made me a tad insecure. I have been other places to have them tinted, waxed, even threaded, they've often told me I'd probably need microblading. I started to convince myself that I would need it, which was one of the main reasons I picked Kristine bc I have seen her work and it's phenomenal. Vreni Fernandez: MICROBLADING REVIEWI had a great experience with Kristine! As I was doing research on microblading in Kansas City, I quickly realized Kristine was the only one in the city with enough experience with permanent makeup. Prior to the consultation I reviewed her website and made a list of questions. During the consultation, Kristine explained the process in great detail from before your procedure to aftercare (all of which is on her website and in the handouts you are given). She also shows you pictures of her previous work. If you are a good candidate, she then uses a wax pencil to give you an idea of what microblading techniques work best for your face (hair strokes, shading, combo), while also defining what shape works best for your face.The first session, which is not the same day as the consultation, is to map the shape of your brow using the technique and shape you have chosen. The second session is about 4-6 weeks after your first session and is to “fine tune” your eyebrows by adjusting the shape, color, etc. You should expect to feel some discomfort at the beginning of the procedure, but once she is able to numb the area (numbing the area makes the skin tougher, so she tries to get the basic shape first) you shouldn’t feel anything. The information on her website and on the handouts you are given go into more detail about what your healing timeline is like. You should expect both sessions to take some time since Kristine is trying to achieve the best results. Even though this is permanent makeup, you should expect to have to come back for a refresher session. Depending on what type of skin you have it can be anywhere from 1-3 years. The ink used in microblading is evolving rapidly and in some cases, you should expect the refresher session to be in the 3-4 year range.Pricing for the procedure is comparable to some of the best around the country. I would not make your decision solely on pricing since microblading is permanent makeup and you want someone who is not trying to build their portfolio, but instead is experienced enough to show you an extensive portfolio with their scope of work (which Kristine shows you during your consultation).Kristine’s spa is very tidy and she emphasizes her efforts to make sure the areas where her procedures are performed are as clean as possible.If I had to do it again, I would go back to Kristine!

Melody Petet: Extremely rude. As a first time customer you have to book two months out, make $150 deposit. What they are opaque about is that you CANNOT RESCHEDULE. I’d asked to resched several weeks out and was dismissed. Not only don’t recommend but buyer beware, ask up front what their resched options are. Once I complained they rewrote their policy online but you still cannot resched if something comes up. Plenty of other highly recommended professional services in KC to consider. R Mack (R Mack): If you're looking for an unprofessional hood experience by all means make your appointment here. I made an appointment for eyebrow shading. I paid my deposit, And received a call from Thandi to come early for my appointment. I arrived and still had to wait for an hour to be serviced. She stopped midwau through my process to meet with her husband to sign contracts for some other business deal. Towards the end of my process she began to rush in preparation for her next client. Mixed with blood and drainage and the heavy layers of makeup applied after the service I was not able to immediately tell that my brows had been tattooed unevenly. I reached out to Thandi 14 days later after my scabs had fallen off and also sent photos of the results to show her my uneven results and Her response was it takes 2 months for healing and to reach out then. I contacted her again at the two month mark and received no reply. After repeated text she replied in true hood fashion with much attitude and said since I did not send her pictures of my scabbing process she could not determine that I had done my due diligence of taking care of my scabs. She then told methe price I paid was a deal for the service provided and to fill in the spaces where she lacked shading that she would do so for an additional $100 after I had already paid her $320. When people ask who did my eyebrows I preface my response by saying I'm only telling you who did them so that you know who not to go to.
