Spanky's Card Shop: what do users think?
Josue Ribeiro: Awesome shop. Went in 10 mins to close and they were super willing to help. I went in for a Raikou card and they had 6 to choose from; they laid them all out and said “pick the best one, up to you.” Will be going back!
Carl Bisinger: Best Card Shop in Kansas City. The staff there is so cool and they make u feel like a regular just after a few visits. I go here for all my MTG needs
Amanda McGannon: Welcoming and knowledgeable. A great experience for all ages both online and in person. Passion has met caring in this shop - a true gem.
Stephen Rossi: Great selection of pokemon, flesh&blood, and magic cards! Spanky and all the other workers there are also very knowledgeable and can answer any magic questions, and even have experience in other, more niche card games, too! They also ship in plastic protectors in bubble mailers so the cards were in really good condition.
tgraham7r: Good people ✊
Jacob Neighbors: Excellent prices and great service
jim reed: Great place to play games. Sweet cards for Magic the Gathering
marcus belton: Never fails they always have what I'm looking for
Christopher Spadafora: Just made an online order from Spankys here on Feb 4th. The next morning I received a refund notifications, So I contacted the store to inquire about my order. It's been 3 days, the store has left me on read and now my refund has pushed through and its the wrong amount so I have not only not gotten my products but some how been fleeced for the wrong amount.I'm pretty dang upset about this and will defiantly not be recommending friends or members of my gaming community purchase product from this store.Watch your self with this stores online portal.
Colby Muller: I’ve been using Spanky’s ever since I got into Magic: The Gathering about a year ago. Their website is always very reflective of what they have in store, even if it’s a $.10 card. Ordering online is easy, the store has a huge selection of cards, boxes, mats, dice, pokemon, and anything else you could think of! I’ve been meaning to write my review for a while, but today I placed an online order for about 240 cards (!!) and went to the store today for the pickup. I totally forgot that the Phyrexia release was the same day. When I got there they weren’t able to fill my order but were very nice about it. The guy at the counter (sorry I didn’t catch your name) made it a clear point that they wanted to accommodate ME! We got my order setup to ship whenever they got it filled, which I’m sure isn’t a fun task to deal with during a set release.Long winded, but this store is clean, awesome, and cares about its audience. I highly recommend them and plan to use Spanky’s Card Shop for all my Magic needs for years to come!
Brian Butler: Edited: THIS WAS ONCE Hands down the best MTG shop in KC. Probably WAS the best shop I've ever been to. One reason being is their HUGE collection of Reserved List items and foils. The workers there are amiable and know their stuff.Spanky's USED TO BE Kansas City Magic.See my picture for what they consider to be "Near Mint" and realize this risk before ordering.
Daniel Westerhold: Great store. Sparky almost always has what you’re looking for and ask if you can’t find a single. Good place to play as well. Store is updated and clean.
Thomas Southerland: Great events and staff, best shop around!
Nathan Duvall: We are from Oklahoma and are glad we stopped in! This is one of the nicest looking card shops I have walked into. It was clean and esthetically pleasing. The artwork on the wall is beautiful. They are stocked with all Trading cards but their Magic the Gathering and Pokemon section were stocked with old items. I enjoy seeing older sealed products but they are hard to come by in stores. I picked up a few duel decks and packs. This is a great place to shop for singles or sealed product. They have the most product I have seen in one shop. If this was my LGS I would spend a lot of time in here.
Ryte Schaeffer: My wife and I have been to a lot of magic stores in many different states and Spanky's has been one of our favorites. Nice clean store, good selection. The owner is a genuinely nice guy too. Happy we happened to find this store.
Alex Larios: My friends and I have been coming here for years for MTG cards and prerelease events. The shop and play areas are always very clean and the prices are always the best. Spanky and the other staff are very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. 10/10 come support your local game store.
R M: This place is great! Staff was super nice and went out of their way to help us. We would highly recommend them to anyone.
Nickolas Kinder: Very well stocked, friendly staff, and a good play group. Well worth the 3 hour drive to stop in
Brycen Palmer: Best card shop in KC. Clean, great atmosphere, chill player base, good prices. Not docking a star but could use some more space, it does get crowded at times.
Alexander Orozco: Hello sparky I tried calling it’s my fault but they couldn’t hear me hopefully you can see this I’m coming in later. Maybe to sell maybe too buy
shadow jointz: Best card shop this side of 2000

KC Conjure & Botanica: what do users think?
Serina Rowan: Thank you!
Atlanta Nicole: I haven’t been by in a long time but every time I come I end up finding exactly what I’m looking for. This is the best store out of all the metaphysical stores that’s I’ve been to. It doesn’t just solely focus on the basics and is great for more in-depth work.
Johnisha: I haven’t been to KC Conjuring in two years and this is my first time being back! First of all it smells so good inside, very peaceful as always. The Customer Service very helpful & friendly.I purchased an evil eye bracelet, Healing & protection necklace’s & they are so cute. I’ve been receiving compliments all day. When you leave Kc Conjuring I promise, you will feel like a completely different person.( mind will be on a different spiritual level) when I left Conjuring today, I felt happy and a different person, then I was before. I’d most definitely will be back! 🧘🏿‍♀️🧚🏿 🙏🏾
Violet Simmons: One of the best metaphysical shops to go to. The staff are so nice. They offer readings there and they have items for almost everything you need.
La Fonda: Lovvve this place!!!!!!!
KiKi Tatum: Definitely an magical experience every time I stop by... love it
Rebecca Pickering: One of the best metaphysical stores I have been to. Lots of hoodoo/voodoo materials! Found the best opalite! The best part is all the prices were fair.
Jennifer Lowe-Brewer: Really great energy and the prices are great. My favorite thing is the variety of herbs and ingredients- much more than the other stores I have been to!
anthony castillo: I absolutely love this store with all my heart. I love the customer service here everyone is so welcoming and kind, I love the energy I feel as soon as I Enter and everything is so organized. If I could spend my whole day trust me I would
Huggie Fly Bear: Always have a good experience
Tiera Thompson: It always has a chill vibe, smells good and has literally every thing that ur looking for when it comes to divination, magic, manifesting root work and conjure!
jamie ojeda: Amazing store. Very helpful
Steve Wilson: Our first visit will not be our last. Nice little family run shop,
Bridgette Clayton: Crown of success oils
Becca Brien: Good location, ample parking, lots to do nearby. Very eccentric neighborhood. Cute shop. Small space but very good use of it. There was never any shortage of things to admire. The pricing is very good as well. I was able to get everything I needed, and a lot of stuff I didn't, and didn't spend all that much. Crystals, figure candles, a specific raccoon bone, earrings (with crystals!), chicken feet, etc. They had everything we needed! I live in Springfield but will definitely make this drive every few months to get what I need because it is 100% worth the 2+ hour trip each way.
Raven Wilson: Amazing store that felt so safe and protected. The store owner was so helpful and kind to our questions. Her alter tables were gorgeous and prices were the best I've seen in a while!
sarah wood: 5 stars just for the owners response to negative reviews
Anna Guzman: They have most of the things you can't get anywhere else! Def recommended.
Moon rose: Nice place. Was cool. Got my first shell and incense
Topher NunyaMFbiznaz (Ari): Lovely place to shop for all your herbs, oils and stones!
Facetime: Possibly the greatest current shop for all the herbs, perfume, and floor sweep needs one might have. Thanks for letting me hang out while my friend went shopping. ;)

Level One Game Shop: what do users think?
Chris P.: Lots of board and card games. They also carry puzzles and other more advance buildable structures. The prices were reasonable and they have several discounted items, as well as a used section with some open packages. It appears they have some game tournaments in the back area for those who are interested.
jae reynolds: This place is a Hotspot for Pokemon, D&D, and Board Gamers. A must see in the River Market!
blahmeli: Packed with lots of games and fun stuff. Got some pokemon cards as well.
Dan Powell: Sweet game store
Adam Procell: Great store with awesome/friendly/helpful staff! Excellent selection of games with a used game section as well. Tabletop miniatures section is well stocked, mostly with 40k but other publishers as well. Some cool KC themed puzzles. Recommend dropping by. Staff accommodating and go out of their way to help you
Bob Gilliam: Extensive board game/hobby selection, kind and helpful staff, and fun location in City Market
K E: They have some pretty sweet games. Purchased a good quality DnD dice set. The staff were helpful and friendly.
Trevor Brixey: This is one of the best game shop around the KC area. Everyone I have interacted with has been super helpful and nice. Prices are some of the best and they have a wide selection of games. If you are looking for a new board game to play with some friends, or wanting to pick up the newly released Magic or Pokemon packs, then make sure you stop here.
Jessica Collier: Cute little nerd cave
Jill Rosas: Great selection of games!
Leo van Oudheusden: We were looking for Warhammer 40k models. They had a great selection, everything we were looking for. Citadel paints were not quite as good, they were out of stock on quite a few. Would recommend it if you're into tabletop games.
Josiah Ruiz Esparza: Great shop, great people, they have a lot to offer and work with supporting a lot of local people who make products for games.
Sterling Boone: Reasonably priced great stock lots of things in stock huge selection of dungeons and dragons miniatures really good Warhammer selection paints that you can only find their brushes and people to tell you how to play the games you’d like to learn and boy do they has good deals on used boardgames
Dany G: I went in last week to sell some Pokémon cards, I knew I had some that were worth a pretty penny. Everyone there was super nice and the card expert, John, was amazing and honest.
Clayton Smith: Awesome shop! Fun to swing by down at River Market
Laura Madrid: Very cool gaming store! Sadly, I am not a gamer, but I shop for people who are. They had everything! Card games like the Cards against Humanity series, tarot cards, basic playing cards. They had puzzles, elaborate Pokémon gaming, Star Wars, Dungeons and Dragons, Hex Guard and Whammer! There was so much more, but I can feel myself turning into character, but I'm not sure what game I would be in! And that is scary to me, lol! Just go and see for yourself it is worth a trip!
Andy Budnick (TroutNinja): Easy to get to and great selection for any hobby gaming from TCGs to board games to miniatures.
Pamela Easley: Nice little lounge, watching the people ski , and tubing
Ashley Jarvis: Really cool store, lots of stuff!
CJ Obermaier: I go for Pokemon night and it's a fun environment. They have a great selection of trading cards and board games.
Cameron Akhtar: I've had good fun at this place. They won't give you much for your cards though lol.

U.S. Toy: what do users think?
Erika L: This location is closed. I drove a long way to get here. Doors are locked, no hours listed, and the website does not show any store front locations. I wish I had checked it or called their 800 number before making the drive.
Ken Gordhamer: Great place, but it's going out of business.
Craig: April 15, 2022 Not much stock left. They are closing.
Dawn P.: Brick and morter closing, store will be online only. Not much left. 50% off everything except balloon services. Stock up on party supplies.
Diana The Great: amazing variety of novelty and carnival items. best place around for costume make-up and face paint/costume accessories.edit as of 3/26/2022: the costume shop is closed, and all inventory moved to the main US Toy floor. eventually the brick and mortar location will close their doors, as everything is 40% off at the time of this update. it hurts my absolute SOUL to see this facility leave, as I am a third generation customer since the days of 103rd and State Line, but the staff assured me that they will be fine as they're moving onto other endeavors.Thank you, US Toy, Magic Shop, Leatha and everyone, for being there for this cosplayer through her lifetime. I'll miss you so much.
Madhavi Desai: It's nice,
Sara Vokac: Hate thst it is closing
Joseph Killeen: It was good. Seems they are not immune to supply issues. Several empty shelves. Very prompt service. New location is convenient and bightly lit. Prices are higher than I remember, but competitive with online.
cleo delemos: I'm sad to see this place closing. For so many years I've been able to educate my children at home during the summer, come up with fun ideas fun games fun learning things. This is a really great store with a lot of great educational items
Mike Parker: Cool toys and stuff but no mainstream toys
Meme FODDER: very nice looks much nicer than the old location. but no rubber mice 😔
Jime Leonard: I was very excited to check out this place based on some recommendations. Drove there very excited. My mother hadn’t put her mask yet and within two minutes a store employee RUNS to ask her if she has one. Almost as if her job is to chase people who don’t have them. My mom didn’t understand the question correctly so said yes. Then she asked again: do you have a mask? My mother said: yes. Employee says: well can you put it on NOW? Like my mom is a naughty toddler. Get out man. People with health issues are exempt. It’s dumbfounding how people fall for this trap and are so ignorant. We both left and I will in no way return ever. 1/10 does not recommend.
Dustin Marker: So many fun toys, and art supplies
AnnMarie M: My kids love this place they have tons of fun educational toys and cool gifts for birthdays, Christmas, and many other holidays! The customer service is great as well the man working at the cash register last day was super sweet and helpful!
Rick Tauscher: Excellent selection of educational toys for kids.
Sara Dell: Such a plethora of materials! As an artist out looking for assorted supplies I was very satisfied!!
Brock Lane: This is just a bigger version of party city.
Ed Allee: Everything is in this place and more! So much fun and the staff is really helpful and friendly.
Aaron Barker: The magic shop attendant is very helpful.
Kathy Jenkins: Still required masks
SillySpice01: Such a great selection I’ll get ready to turn your wallet upside down LOL in a good way

Mindgames and Magic: a Comic and Game Store: what do users think?
Adventure Cafe: Great game shop with great people! We love the community!
Skyler Lowery: Surprised I haven’t left a review, but it’s the best place to play in the area. If it’s not in stock, the guys and gals here will take care of you, and they always go above and beyond in trying to provide the best service possible.Family and I have loved getting to know the staff and make friends with the community throughout the years, and we’re excited to continue to support our FLGS (friendly local game store) for the years to come.
Michael Rowland: Nice place. Decent selection for the business size. They didn't have what I was after but found it quick with one of their contacts and had it to me in less time and money than amazon would have. Above and beyond what was expected, I'll be going back.
Paul Miller: Great staff that goes the extra mile to get me the MTG singles I need !!!!!
Phillip Volen: The owners are incredibly nice and helpful. I'd highly recommend checking them out.
The Barber: Great service and great atmosphere
Matt Laposha: A little bit of everything. Prices are reasonable. A fair bit of local products as well. Lots of room to play games, private rooms available with reservation. My go-to spot here in town
Mizzl Chiezzl: Great little shop that packs a punch on game night
Seth M King: I absolutely love this place! People are great, and the variety isn't lacking. They got a little bit of everything. Like vending machines for the mid match munchies, sleeves for that new foil Doubling season you bought, to paints and figurines, even public-private rooms for dnd or what have you. 💯
Sterling Boone: They’ve got a pretty awesome place to play games in the back they’ve got a selection of citadel paints although it seems like they’re regularly out of them not a lot of brushes but they do have really cool stuff for making terrain as well as some paints iv only seen there. so it’s definitely a worthwhile place to check out they have a neat selection of board games. so far I haven’t had any great interactions with the staff but it hasn’t been negative. They really don’t have a huge selection of magic things or warhammer miniatures for sale I thought it was a slight of hand magic store at first but it’s a tabletop mostly, but I do love anywhere who specializes in Warhammer or dungeons and dragons. They have lots and lots of dungeons and dragons books ,but not that many figurines although the figurines they do have are extremely well priced and the ones they have are a pretty awesome selection of stuff you would need. They have acrylic washes which I really never seen anywhere else which is pretty freaking cool.Glad to see somewhere like this in Lee Summit.
frank44mag frank: If you haven't been... you should.. fair prices ( yes like every thing., its cheaper online) but shop here ... small business owners need your support... the place runs different games.. and this place can let you meet other players or try various games.. before you buy.
Trevor Phillips: Chill place
Kxng Odd: Wonderful atmosphere! I love this place!!
Matthew Sebourn: Plenty of places to buy games but what really stands out is a place that is nice to play in. I pay where I play and would suggest anyone in the Lees Summit area play here for 40k, Commander, and whatever nerd fits you.
Zack Thomas: Best place there is to get your comic book fix in the metro area! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Plus they have you covered on Magic the Gathering and loads of other games. I'm just scratching the service on what's available too. Check them out.
Nikola Tristani: Best hobby shop in Lee's Summit.
scorpions Missouri: Amazing new card and gaming store with great prices and amazing selection the owner is from pulp fiction so we will see how thus goes but ther tcg selection is killer and store looks amazing
Tanner Stephens: Amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Great selection of games and comics alike!
Paxian Bellum: Owner’s cute
Emma Odell: This is a wonderful place to play magic and warcraft, and they have a great website and YouTube channel.
Roll 4 It Dice: Excellent store with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great selection. Awesome place to play.

Noah Trimble: I went to get and open some new Pokémon packs and when I walked in I was greeted the the hot air of B.O and sweat and immediately left and took my business elsewhere
James Gallegos: Had a blast playing a magic draft
Zachary Stoddard: Everyone is so nice and helpfull
eloy ramos: Great experience great people
Sergio Ahumada: This place is great, I drive from Lansing to play MTG here. Staff and players are very welcoming and friendly. Come play Commander on Wednesday evenings!
Jason Fultz: A super welcoming place and community
marcus belton: Friendly n fun atmosphere
Bingo Dingo: Easily the best-run, most well-organized and friendliest tabletop game and card shop I’ve ever been to. Its wargaming and Magic communities are thriving, and I’d recommend it to any hobbyist.
Eric Mozingo: Seems a nice place. They have magic tournaments sometimes.
Josh Petty: Great FLGS. They have excellent staff, plenty of table room. Great merchandise selection. Also, they throw great tournaments. I love playing 40k here
Dylan D: Has quite a bit of products I bought some yugioh cards.
Gabriel: Since this location didn't seem to have a website, I wasn't expecting very much. However, when I arrived, I was much mistaken. This shop had an entire backroom with many tables and even lockers. I lived that there were Warhammer models already painted and ready to be played with as demos or even full scale battles (and a lot of models too). There were a variety of MTG cards and the staff was helpful. I've been to 5 hobby shops this week and this was ties for first best place.
alex johnsey: Best Game store in Kansas city area!
Bobby P: Great group of people, players and employees.
Josh Schey (ZombieShyGuy): This shop is awesome! Staff was super friendly too!
James B: It specializes mostly in magic gathering and that's your and more hammer 40k and if that's your thing then this place could probably be worth a checkout. I was just hoping for a little bit more TTRPG stuff. They had a little but it took me 5 minutes to look over and that was taking my time.
bpskia1: Had tons of fun at the baldur's gate draft
Brayden Bell: The best food 🥘
bubbles of doom: Finally found a neat place to look for magic cards for tally cheap and great conditions. Lots of tables for table games like Warhammer and dnd. Definitely might try and set up a dnd night here in the future
Justin “Justachu” Dietz: Not very welcoming and staff was non existent when we visited. MTG selection is very bare.
Kostakis Kyriakos: Ban the thief, Logan Floer from the store. There's no excuse to allow a kleptomaniac to hover around stealing high priced cards from fellow gamers. The dude was only "sorry" cause he got found out.

TableTop Game & Hobby: what do users think?
J Nau: Excellent staff, atmosphere, eatery,...clean!!A fantastic place for a family to spend time together.
Steve Thomson: Best game store I've been to in the last 20 years. We go back regularly.
Rita: This place was POPPING when we came in today! We had so much fun. Plenty of seating (but as you can see, it's a popular place to be so seats do run out!). Drinks and food are available at the bar area and a games & hobbies store through a hallway and alternative entrance in the front. The energy here was fantastic. Wish we lived closer to visit this place more often.
Alex Fringe: If you need board games, this is the place to shop. Extremely friendly staff, huge area play play games with friends or to meet new people.
James Gallegos: Fantastic store - i visit everytime i swing into KC. Amazing BG collection!
Brandon Winter: Games, food and drinks. Good luck finding me somewhere else...
Geoff Hinkle: This is the best FLGS in town, and likely in the country.

Sean: This place is one of the best board game and hobby shops ive ever been to.
Stephen Rinck: I love this place! I never miss my weekly walk through to see what's in!
Pinky Monroe: This is the coolest place I've seen in a long while. The employees are nice and really enjoy what they're doing. It's so satisfying to come in and look at all the choices of dice. My family comes here all the time. We even played D&D in their gaming room!
Mark Duncan: Simply the finest. A community of gamers. Much more than a game store. Now a restaurant addition next door.
EnderHX: Great atmosphere 😀
Deborah Cowdery: It is a fun place to play all sorts of games. It's great to be able to try out a board game before committing to buy it.
Joshua Holgate: It had a great variety. And I was able to even go online with my phone and read extra about games. If I didn't know and check to see if things were sold out before I even went in. Everyone was super friendly and even when I had a question where the price online was showing a lot less than the pricing on the package they were able to work that out and make sure that I was taken care of! My family has had fun with the four or five games we've purchased. Things we thought we didn't even need but we went in. We found games that were awesome!

Edward Tucker: Great staff and an absolutely amazing selection of paints, minis, dice, ttrpgs, and other games. They even have terrain building options! Love it.
