They also stock a great selection of bird houses, nature themed gift items, and birding optics. Sarah Lynn: The manager Brooke helped with our main lady Kelsey today. They were super understanding and extremely helpful. First time ever getting a puppy here and we left with our forever friend! We actually left the Lee summit location from being treated poorly and had 100% better experience here and changed my view on Petland! These 2 ladies went above and beyond. Kelsey being new was very honest on what she was learning on, what she knew and not knew 100% and gave us the best experience with switching out so many puppies and making sure we got 100% what we needed. I will definitely be back and definitely recommend this location to all my friends.

Timber Pong: Nice little facility. Had a lot of varieties of puppies. But they are still suffering from the shipping problems. They barely had anything on the shelves due to this.

MinorMischief: The other evening we went to look a puppies. We get there and the door is locked and we can see the woman inside closing. The problem is that it was 30min until close (which is 9pm). So who knows how long beforehand she had actually started closing down as we never saw her come to the door and lock it. She saw us standing out there too and had a dumbfounded look as if she couldn’t believe people were there....

Scott Murphy: I get my dogs food here, the clerks are nice and always show my Husky's love when they come in. I have a rear Cooper husky so they are always wanting to see him.

Kim V: Please do not buy puppies from Petland. They buy sick puppies from puppy mills and the Campylobacter infections that resulted in dozens of people becoming so ill that they required hospitalization. This infection is antibiotic resistant and people die. Please stop getting puppies here. Always meet a puppy's mom, at the place they were born. Stop believing the statement the breeder is USDA, go to the USDA website and look up the licensed breeders, USDA has the worse breeders in the country.

Kristin Kandt: Just went there and was disappointed in the selection. This is really a place for dog afficionados - which is fine - I just have a cat whom I dearly love. Not much for cats and no fish stuf, which I am thinking of adding. Dog owners - this is for you. Nice staff. Nice and clean - just don't have what I need.

Kim Rausch: I went into this store to buy toys for my new (adopted) cat. I cannot believe that there are pet stores still selling puppies in this day and age. I had to ask if they were up for adoption because i just couldn't believe it. Reading through the reviews about sick dogs, I notice that the establishment only responds to positive reviews and not to negative. This indicates an uncaring, untrustworthy attitude. Don't shop, adopt!

Adam White: My family and I played and purchased a sweetheart of a puppy! French bulldog named Wonton! He has been such a good puppy and a great addition to our family ever since our English Bulldog of 10 years had to be put down! Petland has been great to us, and Elvis and staff at the North KC location were fantastic to work with and helping us bring our little boy home! He's been through 1 vet visit and he checked out completely healthy!

Owen: Miles of Exotics is a pretty cool pet store that sells all kinds of things for taking care of reptiles, amphibians, snakes, arachnids, fish, rodents, rabbits, cats, and dogs. They have a very big selection of fish, rabbits, and snakes. They also have a couple of store pets which are really cool to take a look at sometimes, such as some huge fish and a couple of huge snakes.The customer service here was very helpful and polite and I'd recommend this place over big brand pet stores .

MS Betrayed: I love that this store is family owned, and the staff are always available to answer your questions. What I don't like is the fish guarantee. 48 hours, and you have to bring in a water sample. If your water fails the test, you are not provided with a replacement. Fish can die from other reasons. From experience, I have had water that was not perfect for weeks, and my fish are fine. Because of the warranty on fish, I purchase my fish from the bigger retailers. I have brought deceased fish and a water sample in by my choice. If the water is high in ammonia or anything else, my fish is replaced. Iam then advised how to correct the issue. This usually ends up with me buying what I need to correct the issue. That purchase always costs more than a fish replacement. I would definitely give this establishment a five-star rating if the warranty was different.

They are all so friendly and so knowledgeable on the livestock and supplies they carry!I only ever stick to the aquatic section. Jerry, and the fellow aquarists, are so great to talk to! They’ll give you great recommendations and opinions on various fish keeping practices. If you catch something on sale, just know you’re about to get a fantastic deal! I’ve bought a good 90% of all my supplies/livestock/plants from here and have absolutely no complaints whatsoever.If you’re looking to add some new uncommon and rare pets into your life, look no further than Miles of Exotics! I guarantee they have what you need!

They’ve always had the nicest animals since I can remember, since they get regularly handled. The staff is there for any help you need, and always polite. Love this store, will always go here, and recommend to others. Even if you don’t find what it is you’re looking for, the reptile room is worth stopping in and seeing!

riggsparty5: Before I get a response about trying to pick up an animal or take a picture I just want to say I most definitely did not. When I walked in the smell of urine was almost over bearing. I never asked to hold any animal or had any desire to. I never picked up my phone to take a picture. My honest opinion is this place is just dirty and some of the animals look very sick. I’ve seen healthy birds, and these birds do not look healthy. The smell of urine throughout the place was horrible. Every bird cage was disgusting. It seems that friends and repeat customers are posting good reviews on here to back this business up but after having looked through many pet stores, I will say this establishment was extremely sad and depressing.There’s really no excuse for the condition of the cages or the smell inside the store. Not to mention the overall dirtiness if everything else in there.
