Kitty Dobbels: I do the laundry drop off, Walley is a great guy and super nice. I tip close to 25% everytime for the speed and quality of work. He often offers to do my sheets, blankets and covers for no additional charge. His daughter is also very nice lady.

Working change machine and a soap/bleach vending machine available on the premises. The place is safe and reasonably clean with lots of folding tables and is always staffed and the owner is always on location during hours of operation. Provides a popular and reasonably priced laundry drop off service for the locals but I have never used it.

Says it’s wasting gas and to only put it for 30 mins. Ok, well I’m a paying customer and I dried my comforter set for 70 mins and it came out still a little damp, so now what?At first I thought the guy was nice but then he ended up being more nosy than anything, unfortunately. If you can’t afford to stay open til close or run your machines maybe this is not the business for you!

Serious Baylis: Sunday March 3, 2023 at approximately is4:17pm I went to wash clothes. I've been here before, everything went smooth, so I was comfortable coming here a second time. When I got my clothes home I found out that all of them was damaged. I saw red, blue, green, purple, pink and brown crayon on all my clothes!! I was so up set! My clothes damaged beyond repair in my opinion. It was something in the washer or dryer that damaged my clothes. I called as soon as I could! Run the footage back! I called Monday, March 4 at approximately 4pm and was told "there is nothing we can do" I asked to speak to the owner, they said I would have to call back or leave my name and number, so I left my name and number. No one ever called so I called back Tuesday March 7th twice, in the am I was told I need the manager, and he wouldn't be there to 7pm, so I waited. I called back at 7 pm Tuesday March 7th, all to find out the owner is only there on Monday mornings🧐 now I have to wait untill the next Monday which is March 13 2023. I think this is unprofessional to say the least. For me, I feel like something's are irreplaceable, well now it's damaged. I expect transparency.Get this to the owner! Ty
Bobbie: I did a whole lot of laundry tonight, I spent $100. It was nice because it wasn't too busy so I was able to wash all my clothes in the washing machines near each other. The free dry was very nice also. There was only one employee working. The entire time I was there she was on the phone screaming so loud at Stefan who I assume is her boyfriend. Next thing I know she gets into a fight with an elderly man and I watched her hit him with the laundry cart! It was quite the experience so I guess the hundred dollars that I spent was laundry and a show. Thanks for a good time main Street laundry.

Tara Smith: The coin machine took my money and the attendant was not able to help me. She had to call the owner which had to take my name and number to "review" the tapes. The employee said it was going to take 48 hours. Use coins at your own risk.
Stacey Rhymes: MegaWash KC has a device that cleans and disinfects the machines and I love this! Plus they have enough room for me to sort and fold.
Martony Cowan: Cleanest machines and great service. The only woman I see here is always moving, cleaning, and helpful with advice on what machines to use. She had me download the laundry boss app and I get a free $5 for every $20 I put in the kiosk! I won't go nowhere else.

You have several was to pay for a washer and/or dryer! You can either pay the traditional way or you can pay by debit/credit card or you can use an app called Laundry Boss! The app was simple to use and extremely convenient!!! This will be my go to laundromat from here on!!
Sasha Minx: It's like the place location is convenient but the efficiency washing machines barely put any water in your cycle. And this isn't applied to those loads that may be stuffed to the brim. The floors and areas could be wiped down a bit more frequently. The push for electronic pairing with the washers and dryers they an app is Ok but shouldn't prevent you from using some machines because of this added feature.

I decided that I will be coming here to do my laundry the moment I took my clothes out the dryer and they were SO SOFT! of course it helped that they were actually dry without having to add extra money. quick wash setting was only 13 mins and clothes were cleaner and brighter than they've been in months. also must give a shout-out to the attendant. she was very nice and helpful.

Jennifer Harris: I did laundry weekly for 10 years with the folks at Rainbow. Moved through several locations, but same owners, same quality attention and kindness. I finally got my own machines and only went in to Rainbow with large items or for emergencies for the next 10 years. Have not had a laundry problem in several years,, but my washer is broken now. I needed to do laundry and I was pleased to find Rainbow still open, with the same hardworking and pleasant owners! I have never seen any of the alleged rude behavior or poorly working washers or dryers referred to in these reviews.. At least one of the owners is always present, and they never stop cleaning! The atmosphere is safe and pleasant, as the owners keep a close watch on things. I feel safe at Rainbow and will continue to use them when I have the need. I highly recommend this Laundromat!

Felicia: It was okay. They have hot water but it costs extra. The machine took about $1 too much of my quarters. I asked the attendant and she just said "I don't know..." It's raggedy and ran down. There's mold in the place where you add the soap/fabric softener. It's dusty and not well maintained. It smelled terrible. And I get it.... It's a laundromat and I get that it may be a little ran down. But at least clean it. Take a little pride in your place of business.

I usually have pretty big loads when I do come and I’m able to get in and out within 90 minutes. The energy is safe and the people that come in are your everyday folk.

Tomás Ballardi: I visited this facility at around 8:30 AM at which time it was frequented by a couple of houseless people whom I speculate were using the place to warm up. Within an hour about 5 more houseless people showed up, a couple of whom spread a bunch of their belongings on the tables used to fold laundry, making it impossible for me to use. The facility was basically a homeless camp. I will never use the place again if I can avoid it.

Chris: I was doing my friend a favor by washing their clothes for them since they don't have a car. This is the first time I went here and I will never go back. The attendant was very rude whenever I told him that the washer had eaten two of my quarters and I was asking for them back he actually surprised that I would even ask that and got an attitude. Then the washer ruined my friends daughters pillowcase which was very expensive and she had personally bought herself. Then when I told the attendant about the pillowcase, since I hadn't overloaded it or anything I wondered if they would compensate me for the washer tearing it up They wouldn't and he was very rude and sarcastic. Then when I went to the dryers the dryer kept on shutting off at first it wouldn't even turn on kept on saying the filter was dirty which it wasn't. I literally had to turn it back on at least 20 times in two cycles. I filled out a complaint to get my money back for the washer at least since the washer was messed up but never heard back from anybody in regards to their washer ruining my friend's daughter's pillowcase.

Stephanie Howard: This place is clean and the machines work,not often do you find that. They also have a working accessable bathroom,it's a unisex bathroom. It's not expensive to do your laundry there. Nice place ,Nice prices!!
Muggsy L. Margaret Blain: Convenient location prices are reasonable even tho there isn't an attendant on duty the customers follow the required wearing a mask rule which I find great! In the most part everyone picks up after themselves.

Zane Perkins: Everything a self-service laundromat could be, with reasonable prices. $2.50 a wash and .50 for 20mins dryer. They sell soap and fabric softener for $0.75 each. Everything worked well.
A B: Well maintained, on site bathroom, chairs and tv, outside vending. Convenient location right off of 39th street. Best thing about this place is it's not overcrowded!

Clark Erdahl: Great appliances that are cleaned daily and thoroughly. Though it seems after 11am this place is steadily occupied to at least 50% capacity customers seem to only frequent the building when starting, changing or finishing their loads of laundry, most patrons preferring to wait their time out in their vehicles. Also the change machine only takes fives and ones so plan for this accordingly. One amenity of note is their single stall water closet. A single toilet and sink with sufficiently hot water and a locking door for maximum privacy available of public facilities in the neighborhood. The owner is kind and diligent in his care of the place and in monitoring people's possessions when he is on location. Open till midnight.

Carolyn Omoruyi: This is my first visit and I noted that the washers were priced from $3.75 for the smallest wash to $15.75 for the largest. It was very clean. The machines looked new and I learned that the regular dryers were free if you washed here also. I have never encountered this before. Free!! How smart!! If you bring wet clothes only to dry, the regular dryers are $2.00. There are larger dryers for $1.25 to start, runs 8 minutes, then you add more quarters for additional time. Atmosphere is nice and laid back. I'll be back.

I'm not sure why the changes but use to love coming in and relaxing while laundry was running.... Not as relaxing or as nice as it once was.
