menillo verbo: I want to say this place is like an oasis in the desert. Coming to KC from South Cali for work, I didn't know what kind of salsa culture I would find. I was pleasantly surprised to find Josh Bravo Hernandez Viva Studio and the level of dance the people of Viva have. The instructors are top notch, the way the classes are given is genius and accomidates all levels, the culture is inviting and the people are nice and friendly. Definitely a must see for any salsero or bachatero who is visiting the area of KC. And for those that want to learn this is the place to go. I'm glad i found this place. Thank you Josh for bringing true salsa culture to KC. Tienen tumbao y mucho savor.

Jenelle Bigo: Not every class or instructor works for everyone and BOAD did not work for us, but the instruction is not the reason for 2 stars. Some words of advice on the business side: Be sure you want to devote time & money to lessons because changing your mind is met with resistance. Additionally, I suggest a contract upfront outlining what your lesson fees include and the refund policy. Our unused, pre-paid lessons were not fully refunded because of time instructors spent outside of the studio. I suggest you understand those details upfront.
Erica Thumen: Best of All Dance was extremely accommodating and fun to work with! They created a wonderful routine for us on a very short timeline! They worked with our schedules and are great teachers!! We would strongly recommend them to anyone, especially couples looking to have a choreographed first dance. They are genuine and really care about your special day.
Lauren Church: Jim and Miranda were attentive to our vision for our First Dance, and the results of Miranda's song cut, choreography, and our lessons were beautiful and just what we were hoping for!!
W: Best of All Dance is great! Used them for my Thai wedding coming up this August. They created a custom dance routine from scratch for my mom and I to dance too. Highly recommended!

My fiance was not thrilled about the lessons initially, but she has made this a wonderful experience for both of us! Both Miranda and Jim have been great choreographing our dance and being extremely flexible with our busy schedules. Batdc: My fiancé and I have been taking dance lessons at BOAD for our first wedding dance. We have learned so much in so little time. There is not a wasted minute during our lessons. We love our instructors. They are so personable and truly care about us and our performance. They want to teach us many different styles of dance and then blend the styles into choreography for our wedding dance which we are loving! Can't wait for everyone to see our first dance!! :)
Gavin Taylor: My wife and I took lessons from Best Of All Dance in Kansas City to prepare for our first dance at our wedding. We had very productive sessions with our instructors, and we were given a customized version of our favorite Queen song to do the dance with! We were very happy with the results! I have never danced before in my life, but they were incredibly patient with me as I learned some basic steps, and they eventually helped us choreograph an entire song for our wedding! It couldn't have turned out better. Check this studio out, you won't be disappointed!

But we went in for our initial meet and greet lesson and the instructors were very welcoming. We signed up for lessons and they transformed the way we will be dancing on our wedding night! Rachel Correll: My fiancé and I have been going to this studio for the past few months. We have absolutely no dance experience so we signed up for private lessons to work on our first dance. They not only choreographed the perfect routine for us, they also edited down our song to a more manageable length. It also sucks that you have to pay for parking. 7 dollars for 30 minutes is crazy. Will probably go back but have someone stay in the car to not have to pay for parking. Also they close at 6 pm Monday through Friday not 4 pm how it states in Google.

By the end of my plate I was stuffed but would have kept going, it, was so good!Along with the amazing food, the staff was happy to explain everything and answer any questions. Just a FANTASTIC experience!!!Vegetarian options: No dishes marked vegetarian at my visit, it may be difficult to eat vegan [I lack familiarity] but there appears to be options for building a vegetarian meal.Kid-friendliness: Very casual, many kids there, at least one highchair available.Wheelchair accessibility: All one level tile floor, open layout with easily moveable tables and chairs.Dietary restrictions: They had gluten-free marked on menu and everything is cooked to order. When they were with us, they were attentive and very nice.It is a small place with a limited number of tables. It's a quaint spot. Clean and generally maintained, though not flamboyant or exciting. But they were so sticky it was a huge turn off.
