Gabe H Cuod: If you have ever had real Korean bibimbap then you won’t like this place. However, if you’re new to Korean food or live within walking distance - then it’s decent enough. Go with the rice cake. That’s the best choice on the menu.

Ryan: Visited for lunch. Parlor is a fun fancy food court concept. Prices are reasonable. The food here was good overall, but could have used a little extra flavor to make it 5 stars! Will go back and order something different. Pictured is the Bibimbap.
Butterfly Goddess: This place use to be so good now the food is dry and not a good taste the last few times. Taste a lot of vinegar and salt. I’ve only ever got delivery I wouldn’t mind going in person and getting the whole experience and trying something different then the japchae noodles.
Reina’s WORLD: First time at Sura Eats today & I honestly can say that the FOOD IS GREAAAAT! Customer service also is GREAT! I will be coming here more often ❤️
Alexa R: Restaurant is cute and staff is super nice, but not an authentic taste. It’s nice that they provide vegan alternatives, but tteokbokki was fried and tasted like straight sesame oil.. nothing like the flavor of the typical gochujang based sauce it’s normally in. Super disappointing and honestly not worth eating. If you have never had real Korean food, you’ll be fine.
Chip Wagner: This place wants to be an ultra hip urban eats, but it’s not quite there. There are ingredients with individual flavors that hit the mark, but overall the flavors don’t blend well enough to give 4 stars. However To their credit the beef was velveted perfectly, and presentation was great.
Ren: You gotta try this masterpiece
Dan Klimisch: Pretty good food!
Nurey: Came here with friends. Didn't know it was a Korean fast food place. The gentleman and the woman working here were so accomodating. They remade my food after I found our there was mirin and white rice wine vinegar in the cabbage and the soy sauce. They helped me out so much. I'm a Muslim woman and would definitely come back. Thank you nameless, but kind preparers! You made my day.
J Williams: I tried my friends noodles ans such and it was all really very good. The seasonings were on point, and the presentation was nice. Nothing in this building is inexpensive, however good food and a pleasant demeanor go a long way. Will definetely be back.

Jenifer Calandra: We ordered two bento box dinners for take out, and both our selections were delicious! The Katsu chicken was crispy and flavorful, and the sushi was clearly prepared by someone with incredible knife skills. The sushi fish was fresh and didn’t smell fishy and old like it does at some other local establishments. The bento boxes also came with miso soup, salad, and two crab rangoons, all of which was also fresh and tasty. Even the rice side was fluffy and good! Will definitely be ordering from here again!
Laurel Jensen: My husband and I ordered several rolls of sushi for take-out. We were disappointed by the size of the rolls compared with how much we paid ($40). We classed it up at home using some of our own fun dishes. We might try one of their soups sometime while dining in—my husband saw a couple eating soup at a table while he was waiting for our food; the quality and amount looked much better for the price. Not satisfied with our experience here yet, but I will update the review if we try it again and enjoy a better experience.

Elizabeth Athena: Delicious, beautiful chairs, our go to place at least once a week.Vegetarian options: Good options, including variety of veggie rollsKid-friendliness: Comfortable and well-arranged
kate debenedetti: Pretty low quality and expensive for what u get. Super disappointed with what looked like packaged ramen with just a few vegetables sprinkled in and some very old brown spotted asparagus in the tempura. Service was not super enthusiastic either. Definitely won’t be coming back here. Jun’s on Stateline is so much better AND friendly!

Peggy S: Sadly they are closed, currently a Korean chicken place called 92 chicken that's pretty good .
Rylan Yang: Delicious and dreamy
April Jackson: I've been to almost every Korean restaurant in this city and I can say by far Gangnam has the best food. Sam Merren: Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: Yes Takeout: Yes Delivery: Yes Curbside pickup: YesMore
Yeonji L: I ordered their tofu soup and I couldn't believe that they were serving the soup like that... It tasted like nothing and I was very very disappointed. I would rather go to other Korean restaurants in Overland Park and never go to this one ever again.
John Asherbranner: This is a place to go get some really good food! And the staff is super friendly.
Bernie Katzroy (Zuks Gildram): Authentic Korean food, for some it may be a bit pricey but when the quality of the food is top notch in such a quaint little establishment there's no room to skimp.
Spencer McKnight: Kind of expensive but really good.
Lego Shin: You can enjoy some authentic Korean foods in KS. Not like the others. So try it.❤️Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: No Takeout: Yes Delivery: No Curbside pickup: Yes …More
Uka Ochir: I was disappointed with my experience here for few reasons. For the price, the portion was less than ideal and you get only three small sides (banchan). Their kimchi was chewy and didn't taste right. The only beer option was Coors light and miller light. The atmosphere is not amazing, you order at the counter, and expected to put away your dishes and your trays. I hope they improve because a city can never have enough Korean restaurants.
黎浩男: Small restaurant with a concise menu. Most part of the service is self-service (order at counter, water jugs in fridge, etc), but the staff was friendly to guide through the process.Although the food was a bit generous in oil department, it was flavorful and outstanding that I have no regrets paying the price for.
Cory von Seggern: The staff is very friendly and the food is awesome. The portions seem like they're intended to be shared so make sure to bring a friend.
Mike Holbrook: Had spicy squid Benton box. Loved it. Highly recommend.
C Stewart: Excellent Korean food, with generous side dishes. I am always amazed how authentic, and tasty, all the different dishes are. The staff are lovely, especially the middle aged Korean guy who works there. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Leslie Young: Excellent service, fresh cooked food. Thank you!
TooMuchSci -Fi: Adorable little place and had delicious dumpling soup
Christina Lau-Raman: I love this cozy Korean restaurant. Food is consistent. Right portion. Sides are fresh. Service is great too.
Jesse Miller: The food was fantastic and with great presentation and the people were really kind.
Jason Ballou: Spicy pork belly's flavor was really great but the portion size was much too small for the pre-tax, pre-"convenience fee" price of $18. Even the rice portion was too small. Seaweed rolls were unimpressive. The ox bone soup was basically flavorless... just sort of grayish brown water. The flavor on the kimchi was good but the pickled ratish was too sweet and the color seemed off.

Daniel Monnin: This is my go to place for sushi! It’s always tasty!
brittnay ann: Sushi, dumplings, and egg rolls were all good. The Wasabi was... odd... way too neon green and tasted off, but I can't quite put my finger on what was wrong with it.Sweet and sour chicken (adult AND child options. They're different), fried rice, lo mein, and Dan Dan noodles all with no flavor and not even varying textures throughout the dishes. If it was REALLY good, the price still would've been a bit on the high side, but we could deal with it. But it wasn't. It was awful. All the bad reviews I saw on yelp are accurate.

yamfrank prazuela: the sushi is really bad, the eel sauce is bad, I would not eat there again
Jennifer Heather: I ordered sushi last night. I spent $90 on what I thought would be "premium" quality. The sushi rice was crunchy, and the soy paper was chewy and really grossed me out. I will take my money elsewhere next time. Also to add, I live 15 minutes from this place for delivery. I hope it was just a fluke as the place does have impressive reviews, which is why I chose it this time.

Josh Moore: Very good!. Ordered Hibachi steak with fried rice. Steak portion was generous and well cooked. and the fried rice was excellent. (light and not greasy) Onion soup was also tasty. Not cheap, but not too expensive.
Carlyn Crispell: Very tasty, I had their curry and the chicken was very tender. Fresh veggies too. Our server Savannah was very kind.
Jerrica Jones: I really wanted some crab Rangoon and the reviews for this place were decent. I did takeout. I placed my order on the website. I ordered the crab Rangoon, chicken egg rolls, and sweet & sour chicken with lo mein. I was very disappointed in the quality of this food. It’s totally overpriced. The sweet & sour chicken was nothing special. I’ve definitely had better. Same for the crab Rangoon, lo mein, and chicken egg rolls . The sweet & sour sauce was super liquid-y/runny. Before ordering, I told myself that I would go back and get the sushi, but that’s a NO now! This was a total waste of $39.00!
Amanda Inness: We've been/order togo here frequently over the years since opening, and the quality has gone down significantly while the prices have gone up. Tea had a funny taste, wonton soup tasted watery, and the inside looks neglected. I'm afraid we won't return or order to go from here anymore. We will try somewhere else.

P.F. Chang's: what do users think?
James Holmberg: I have no idea why anyone would rate this dog food above zero stars, except that Google won't let you rate it lower.I guess drunken Z-genners, and millennials don't know good Japanese, Chinese, or Thai from garbage.Just . . . my . . . God!
shaia true: The staff was super nice and welcoming. The food was good, I hadn't been to P.F Chang's or Pei Wei in years so it was nostalgic to come here. I came with my grandpa just to hangout and the hostess was super nice, complimented me on my fit and makeup and she was super cool! Our waiter, I'm sorry I forgot your name, he was super nice as well. I didn't want an appetizer but my grandpa did and he helped us come to an agreement on what appetizers to get and he hooked me up on my food. And this one waiter passing by complimented me as well so the atmosphere was just very welcoming and I liked it. Will definitely be back 👍

Destini Bailey: We are from Sioux City, IA we traveled to Kansas City, Missouri. We entered the restaurant and had 5 people plus two babies. We were told we could not eat here because they didn’t have enough tables. We could clearly see that there was more than enough tables for us to spilt them. We offered to spilt our group to make it easier for staff; however, we were flat out told no. The manager was rude and her attitude sucked. How she is a manager is beyond me. I would have given a zero stars if I could but it was not an option. Will never return!
Sean Poellnitz: The food has changed a lot. Great service but the food taste and quality has gone downhill!
Jacqueline Williams: To start off, I was seated and ignored for about 10 minutes. Seated in front of the do, which led to the patio and it was like a wind tunnel, every time they opened/closed the door.I was trying to get the wait staffs attention.... IGNORED!When I got their attention and was waited on. I ordered sweet and sour sauce, hot mustard with my food. I DIDN'T GET IT!!AFTER ASKING FOR THE SAUCES Several times, THAT I USE WITH MY FOOD. My food is warm! Let me tell you when I got the sauces.....after I asked for to go containers. And asked THEM AGAIN!I asked for the manager, did the service improve..NO!I know the wait staff is capable of giving quality service because I observed them giving it to other customers.I don't mind spending my money I DON'T LIKE BEING MISTREATED IN THE PROCESS.I USED TO LOVE THIS PLACE....AFTER BEING MISTREATED. I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE.IF YOU'RE WONDERING NO MY FOOD WASN'T AS GOOD EITHER.AT NO TIME WAS I RUDE BECAUSE OF THE TREATMENT I RECEIVED. YES I PAID PROMPTLY FOR MY MEAL. NEVER ASKED FOR A DISCOUNT. rachael sanders: It was warm inside the restaurant but the food was delicious. I had the eggplant.
C J: They microwaved my husbands Sake and cooked off all the alcohol. The food was absolutely terrible. I ordered the crispy honey chicken and I swear it was something you can purchase in the frozen section at the grocery store. I felt nauseous the rest of the night, although I didn't get sick. Its just terrible quality food. And the menu claims they are meant to share. No THEY ARE NOT. The rice is charged separately of the entrées. They apparently clean the bathrooms with sugar water with how sticky they were. I can only imagine what they're doing in the kitchen as far as cleaning. All an absolute waste of money. Any restaurant that serves food like this with these prices is directly insulting their customers. Go to a restaurant that appreciates the fact that you're spending your money at their establishment.
Srivathsa Reddy: Recommended dishes Egg Drop Soup, Dynamite ShrimpMore
Taiju: It’s like if white people decided to blindly cook asian food or like olive garden, gentrified, overpriced and not good
Paul Secor Morel: We ordered Combo lo mein and ginger chicken to share. While the flavors were great, the meat was terribly overdone, dry, and rubbery. I thought Was eating over cooked chicken breast and realized the piece of meat at the end of my chopstick was a shrimp- unrecognizable! Definitely not worth the price I paid for this poorly prepared food.
Carmen Holmes: Mediocre at best. For the price there should have been more shrimp or at least bigger ones. I ordered takeout no plastic ware nor condiments included.
Tina Garrison: Coming here used to be a real treat, we would love getting dressed up nice and go to PF Changs for a nice dinner. This place has changed so much within the last couple of years and no longer offers a good dining experience. We found the girls at the front desk to be rude, they stared at us the whole time we ate and it seemed like they were talking about customers and laughing. We were seated at a small, sticky and wobbly table. We waited for atleast 20 mins before the waitress came over to see what we wanted to drink, but waited a reasonable time for our food after ordering. We ordered quite a bit of food as we were with family, and there was NO room for all of it at the small table we were at. The guy who brought the food said maybe if we took the plates off we would have room, but i was just confused what we would eat on if we did that? We had hoped to get the bigger booth but the girls said no they were reserved. The whole time we were there no one was sat at the larger tables, either. (It wasn't busy that day and they were slow) the other review is correct, they have cut their portions in half, but the price is the same or more since I was last there, and didn't taste as good. I tried a new drink they had which was also good, but it was 13 dollars and completely filled with ice lol, so I think I took 3 drinks off of it. Waitress never refilled our sodas and we waited 30 mins after eating for our check. I was waiting for my daughter to come out of the restroom and she said the waitress was vaping in the bathroom. We finally paid and got out of there, the chubby short purple-haired girl at the front along with the dark haired girl said nothing to us as we left. 150.00 for a mediocre and awkward dinner. Save your time and money! We had a great experience for a birthday dinner at the Cheesecake factory where they still treat you well at your table with generous portions!
Bee Charintorn: One of a great place in plaza area for lunch or dinner for Asian food after shopping :DTheir fried rice and rice bowl are awesome There are some Dim sum dishes but not much. So if you expect to eat dim sum, this is not the place.

Bōru Asian Eatery: what do users think?
Shaylee B: I think they should not advertise open until 11pm on Fridays when the kitchen closes at 10. Lost the opportunity to eat at any Ramen shop tonight bc we drove here, arrived 1004 and were told kitchens closed. Too late to drive anywhere else. Really disappointing and they should consider changing google to reflect actual time.

Tim Reneau: I always enjoy my meal when I eat here. I had the Rib-eye rice bowl and some kimchi. Additionally, we had some Kimchi fries with our meal.Service was very attentive, I felt well taken care of.The restaurant was very clean and they had nice music playing for a good ambiance.I was a little sad to hear that some old menu options had been removed during the quarantine, but to reiterate from earlier, the food was still fantastic.

Candi Vance: The Kimchi fries looked great and tasted fine, but I was a little disappointed in the lack of Kimchi because I really like kimchi and was looking forward to it. There was very little, if any. Maybe they're just going with the flavor profile? Nice bartender, and great happy hour pricing tho.Professional cocktails!! Stellar job there.

Cara: Went for a late lunch. Just had appetizers. The dumplings were flavorful. Crab Rangoon was nice and crispy. The buns were open face like a Taco. Fillings were very tasty. Texture of the dough was a bit too raw tasting for me but still good. Next time I would like to try the Ramen. I liked that they had outdoor seating as well.

Chosun Korean BBQ: what do users think?
Brooke sherwood: Absolutely delicious! This place is seriously legit! I was able to order the 100 dollar beef platter and it was well worth the money. All the other things I got were fantastic as well. The banchan was all flavorful and good, and the gochujang and samjang were perfect for dipping. I absolutely recommend this to anyone in the area. It can be a little expensive (if you're going to get the grill your own meat platers), but totally worth the money.
kayla nguyen: I wish I saw the previous review of someone having a cockroach in their water before coming.. but my personal experience I think the tofu stew (S5) was really good but I asked for the beef option and there was barely any pieces of meat, maybe it’s supposed to come like that but most of my bites were just the tofu. Service was average, they did what they had to (bringing in food and drink we ordered) but nothing extra like filling up our waters, or asking how we are doing. personally, I think this place is better than choga by the quality of the food, but nothing tops kbbq that I experience back home in Dallas.
Ryan Roach: Kimchi pancake and dolsot bibimbap are both really good.
Cody Sun: I’ve never had a complaint at this place until we went in this past Thursday. According to the Kansas City Star, Chosun had 8 priority healthcode violations as cited by the Kansas Department of Agriculture during a December 8th routine inspection in 2022. As we were being served our waters, one of our friends found a cockroach in their water. We promptly addressed it with our waiter who changed out the cup. Needless to say, this was totally unacceptable for any establishment. I understand mistakes happen with healthcode violations, but one would hope this establishment would have learned something from their previous 8 violations. Cockroaches are notorious for being carriers of bacteria, and the cleanliness and sanitation at this establishment is highly questionable. We will never be coming back.
Coley Mays: I have never had Korean bbq. I also have never cooked my own food at a restaurant. It was such a fun and unique experience. The food was great quality. Got a huge variety platter. The staff was super friendly and if not busy will help you cook your food. I’ll try it again sometime
Kevin Seepersad: Great food and really nice staff.
Karely Mangandi: Food is bland, dry and boring
J J: Great food some middle tables need ventilation.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Larry F: My wife rated Chosun three stars because the chicken was too dry.
Deaths: At first the restaurant was a little intimidating, because we had never been to a korean bbq joint before . Once we figured out what we were looking at on the menu , the experience was enjoyable . Service was very good and atteneded to our needs promptly . The only problem i had with the food was the pork was supposed to be spicy but it wasnt at all. Other than the lack of spice in the meat the food was wonderful and would go back again sometime .Parking: There are seveal other restaurants and stores in the same area so plenty of parking
Meindert Niemeijer: Friendly service, excellent food. Will visit again!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Rhonda Mattson: I've been there twice, once by myself and once with two other adults, a toddler, and an infant. It is a small place but we got sat immediately. Both times I felt like service was very good with the wait staff being very attentive. When by myself I ordered off the regular menu but with the group we did the BBQ. Portion sizes were large and I took home leftovers the first time after ordering a noodle dish appetizer and an entree. We got a combo meat tray that was supposed to feed 3 to 4 people. The 3 of us were able to finish it off but had leftover appetizer and the salad that came out.The place was clean and they did well with the toddler. They offered to put out diaper bags out of the way so when the food came out there would be room. I saw a lot of kids there as we left so definitely family friendly.Kid-friendliness: It can be loud since it is a small place but the staff was friendly towards the kids and there were a lot of toddler aged kids in there the day we went.
Angela Oguna: Great service. Yummy food. I want brave enough to do the BBQ myself. But I'll try it next time. The dumplings were perfect!!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Bulgogi, Side Dishes, Pot Stickers …More
