B F: The first time I use this machine it worked great cut the key perfectly I came back later about a month to use it again and it kept kicking the blank key out just a little bit thus causing it not to work in my lock I had to take a grinder and grind the tip off the key a little bit but when it works it does work good

POSTO __: I had them come and replace a key for an 08 mercury sable , he told me that it couldn’t be the key and that it was another problem after making me pay 100 dollars for a key that wouldn’t work and wouldn’t give me back my key unless I paid him even tho he did not fix the problem! another guy came from a different company and had a new key programmed and working within 5 to 10 minutes now the guy who did it is not answering my calls because he doesn’t want to pay me back , he knew he didn’t know how to program the key 1/10 do not recommend!

Shawn K: So I brought in my front door lock set handle, which has the deadbolt built in. We needed it re-keyed and i needed them to look at why the the dead bolt wasn't retracting fully. They tinkered with it, gave it back saying it was fixed. I reinstalled it and it still wasn't working properly. I brought back, they tinkered with it but then it still didn't work when i got back home and reinstalled it. I called and was told I didn't install it right and no one could come to my house. He was very short with me and didn't seem willing to help me any further. I won't be giving them my business any more.

Jan McKinley: The employee (or owner?) I talked to was not the friendliest. He said he wouldn’t come out to my mother’s assisted living place. I sent him pictures and I never got a response. My 97 yr mother used this place for years. I am disappointed.

Started to feel like it would cost, 1 company wanted to charge me 100 bucks to get my key take to shop and make a new key. Well chet's made me a 2 keys from my broken one for less then 15

Sherry Randall: Chet's gave me a reasonable estimate for changing locks, but then after doing the work added on a separate $69 trip fee! That was not mentioned in the estimate. The guy was very professional and did good quality work. But beware of the added charges.
Sam Searcy: Wish I had come to Chet’s Lock and Key first. I had gone to several auto parts stores and called several locksmiths about replacing the lock on the fuel tank door to my car. Pretty simple fix, yet no one had the part and locksmiths weren’t willing to look at it and told me to go to the Toyota dealership. Luckily, I took it into Chet’s and he said he’d have it replaced with new keys the next day for $15.

Tiffany Fisher: The key works, but takes a little effort. Have to jiggle, pull out a little, and hold your tongue just right. Not worth the hassle and wait to return and have redone.
Sharon Seehaas: Very unprofessional. Waited for an hour and a half when they said 20 minutes and then charged me more than double. The techs behavior was questionable too. Would not recommend.
