Diane Johnson: Our refrigerator/freezer had stopped cooling, even though the power was still on. This was a Thursday. Called Able Appliance and they sent Jason out the next day. After making the appointment, the refrigerator/freezer started working again, but kept the appointment to have them diagnose what had happened. Jason was extremely polite and seemed very knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem very quickly. We needed a part that wasn't available until Monday. When he finally showed up, he was in and out in about 5-10 minutes, told me it wasn't worth fixing either of the appliances that I had him look at and then invoiced me for $99. This definitely could have been done over the phone and saved all parties involved a lot of time. Or! I could leave this review and tell you to google or do a search on YouTube to solve your problem instead of getting these guys involved. That's what I wish I would have done.

David Bernard: My new GE built in microwave worked for a few days then stopped heating food. I then contacted GE Customer Service online and scheduled service for March 21st with At Your Service Appliance Repair, Inc. I was never called beforehand by the local company as the confirmation email indicated. Nor was I called on the day of the scheduled service. On March 21st, At Your Service Appliance Repair, Inc., never showed up. I called and left voice messages as I could not connect with a person. They have not returned my calls. When I called the main number I got a recording saying I have called during out of business hours, even though I called during their posted business hours. If this is how they handle routine scheduling, I wouldn't trust them to repair anything. Don't waste your time with this company and if GE or anyone else tries to schedule a repair using At Your Service Appliance Repair, Inc, demand they send someone else.

Luc Ouimet: I have read several review of this business, so here's my assessment of my experience:Pros: 1. Kirby changed the compressor on my LG refrigerator and he did an excellent job. This is a complicated job and my refrigerator is now working like a charm. The appliance was under warranty but the manufacturer wanted to pay only for the parts and not the labor. Kirby also spend much time to convince the manufacturer to cover the complete cost. I really appreciated this extra effort as the labor cost is much more than the part.Cons: As several people have mentioned, you have to be patient to get your appliance taken care of but when they do the work, it is well done.Service:Refrigerator repair

Tom Haag: This is the company that Frigidaire contacted to do warranty repairs on my freezer. It took them over a month to respond to the request. They finally showed up and said they will have to order parts. You couldn't call them during business hours because they always said to "call back during business hours. They wouldn't answer emails. The only response I could get from them would come after I called Frigidaire asking about the parts.I would never, ever, use this company again. There communication skills are non existent. They seem to be unable to schedule anything. The repairman they sent seemed quite knowledgeable but that's the only thing good I can say about this company. Matt Russell: I specifically waited over a month for a technician who was licensed to work on my refrigerator, I expected to pay the $129 to have someone who knows what they are doing to diagnose my issue and give me a firm estimate for parts and labor for the repair. Instead I got someone who was not licensed to work on my refrigerator to tell me that is wasn't working and it could cost anywhere between $1500 and $2000 to fix. That is a big range. I would never authorize a repair without a firm estimate. I kind of knew what I was getting based on the other reviews but they are the only company authorized to work on by brand of refrigerator. Ree Tired: Can I leave ZERO stars? Absolutely the WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER CONTACTED. I had used them about 10 years ago to fix my Asko washer, a brand serviced by few. All went well, so when it stopped running in Aug I called, then made appointment online. Sept 16. Then they emailed to charge it to Sept 30! Ok. Meanwhile I did laundry at others’ houses. On Sept 28 they called to offer to come a day early! Finally! That day the repairman called and said 2-4:00 window. Did not come. Did not call. I tried to call but only left messages. (Did I mention how impossible it is to get ahold of them?) The next day, my original appointment day, they called to say yeah we don’t know what happened but can they reschedule? So you’re coming today? No, we gave away that time spot and it wouldn’t be fair! WHAT ABOUT FAIR TO ME??? They wanted me to wait another two weeks!!! Nothing she could do, she said! No wonder they have a Better Business Bureau rating of F! It’s not At Your Service, it’s at your mercy. Terrible.

They made us wait about 5 weeks to get our microwave and dishwasher fixed which is alot then after all of that they didn’t show up the day of. And said there is nothing they can do and we have to wait another month to get a new appointment. Then they ditched us back to GE and said we aren’t servicing your appliance anymore and now we have to start from scratch after waiting all that time with non-functioning appliance.

He saw the cabinet maker had not put in any venting for the built-in oven. At our request, Brien talked to the cabinet maker telling him how critical the venting is for a built-in oven. The venting above and below the oven, extends the life of the oven. Sterling Farber: Technician took cooktop out of the counter. Decided he couldn't repair and attempted to put it back in place. Was the nable to make it level so now it wobbles in the counter. Called the company twice with no resolution. Some manager called back and said they trusted their repair person and refused to resolve the issue. Now we have a cooktop that wobbles from side to side. Will never use it this company again.This is a lie. Your technician was scheduled to look at both the washer and cooktop. He took the cooktop completely out of the counter top and couldn't figure out how to repair the middle burner and tried to put the cooktop back into the counter and did not get it level. What could go wrong? The dryer. Last Feb the heating element went out. It happens. Paid the service call and last May it went out under warranty. They fixed. Fast forward 6 months broke again. 90 days past warranty on a product touted to last 25 years at double the cost of box store appliances.
