Carolyn: I had an in home appointment scheduled on Friday. I received a confirmation text but nobody showed up for the appointment. It is so challenging to get through to make an appointment, then no show/no call...not good.
Patsy McKinney: Every time I come in with an issue or a question I am helped quickly. Even when hard to deal with things come up and my computer has to be checked in for service, the whole process is explained to me. Another thing I’ve noticed is that no one talks down to me. We are TotalTech members and it is worth every penny if it means we get unlimited Geek Squad support.

Dennis Roberts: Had me wait 6 and half hours to do a stereo and back up camera they knew I was coming a month and half ago they nothing luckily I had I had something they could use if not they was going to Reschedule me after waiting a month and a 1/2 and the sad part is they knew the truck the make the year and they had nothing talked to the Manger he just said it's the other store fault that they had nothing for my truck. They told me if l get the rest of the parts they we fix I said no you will never touch this truck again now l got the part and going to fix it myself and now l see what they did they broke part of the dash That holds a screw and clip they broke it off There is wires Not hook to nothing And just think they charged me 2 hundred and some dollars so if I was you don't come here

I went in again, sent me another phone, same scenario. I plan to buy my next phone elsewhere, what a complete Waste of time, energy, and money! I am so very disappointed. Tiffany Pheral: I walked into the store on a Tuesday to ask whether or not my issue was something that Geek Squad would be able to remedy. I had heard that it was a complex issue that they couldn't handle. I brought my computer with me, because a lot of times, the model of computer you have directly effects the answer when it comes to these things. After a stood in line for a few minutes, the one tech that was there asks me if they were expecting me. I told her now, and that I just needed to ask her whether or not it was something that they could do. She immediately got all snarky with me and told me that she was with her current customers now and would be booked for the rest of the day. When I repeated that I only needed to ask a simple quick question before I wasted everyone's time with booking an appointment only to be told they couldn't do it. She, again with a very heavy attitude, told me that I would have to wait until after her current appointment. I stood there for a few minutes, and then looked at the overhead board and realized that her appointments that day her an hour long each, and we were only 5 minutes into the hour, I left. I was not waiting around for an hour to ask a question. I ended up going to another location a few days later, and we able to book an appointment shortly thereafter to get my issue resolved by very friendly and helpful staff at another location. This lady has VERY poor customer service skills and needs to learn how to check her attitude if shes going to deal with people. I will NEVER go back to deal with her again.
Mary Kieffer: Attempted to talk to someone to see if they work on macs. The automated nazi told me since I didn't have the product with me I needed to wait and call back! WTH? Why do I need the product if I don't even know if you work on Apple products?!?! SMH!
Bill Busch: I brought my iMac in for repair of the hard drive that was under the three year warranty that they are dying to sell you. I told them the hard drive was broken because the system won't boot. Instead of replacing the hard drive they reinstalled the operating system and sent it back. A month later it was doing the same thing. Geek Squad manager said it was out of warranty and won't fix it. I told him they should have replaced the hard drive when I reported it and under warranty. They said they could not help me. Don't buy the extended warranty. It's a bait and switch.

Wesley Turner: No return call
mark Wilkerson: Geek Squad can help resolve computer problems. They're reliable, and frankly, if they can't troubleshoot your issue, it may be time to invest in some new hardware. Thankfully, I haven't had to use them a whole lot in the past few years. I don't know how they vet their applicants...I mean, anybody can claim they know how to work on computers...but in my experience they've always got some sharp employees. And that's why I'm not giving them five stars. Because, you see, while most Geek Squad workers have been polite and helpful, don't be surprised if you run across just ONE on staff who appears to believe he's the god of PC's, who can't seem to resist letting you know that you're a mere mortal, and possibly a clueless one at that! Hahaha I think it's not uncommon for those in the computer/tech world to have a superiority complex. But I wouldn't hesitate to recommend using Geek Squad's services to anyone. If you do run across the odd staffer who seems to live to make others feel dumb, just ditch him and latch on to another.

Ariel Stiletto: I took a laptop computer here to have a charging port replaced and u was told my computer would need to be shipped off and that I would probably need a new motherboard, and I was looking at over $300 for my repairs. Not to mention, that it would be minimum 2 weeks before I knew anything because my laptop would need to be shipped off to another location! So I called around and I found Northland Computer in Claycomo. Mike there was able to order my part, it will be there in less than a week, and it will only cost me 90 bucks..that includes my part!! Don't waste your time with Geek Squad, I won't.

Our computer was under warranty and we paid for an additional warranty. The hinge on the unit disintegrated and we took the computer in for repairs. We should have pulled the hard drive first. Now we are told that the only way we can get our data back is to pay up to nearly $500 for the transfer. The computer is in Kentucky and they will not ship the unit back unless we 1) pay for the data transfer 2) void all warranty. This is not acceptable.Do not ever use this service!

They answered all my questions and helped me find the best model for my needs and budget. They also offered me a free in-home consultation to set up and install the TV. The best part was that they helped me load the large item in my car, which was very nice of them. I really appreciated their service and professionalism. I would highly recommend this store to anyone who is looking for electronics and appliances.

A week later I'm looking for my sheets and no where to be found. Yesterday I tore my house apart looking for them and they are gone. Then it dawned on me. They were in my old dryer. The dryer that the guy said was empty. WRONG!!!

Seth Norris: This store seems to think a lot of itself. All of the used comics that are not bag and boarded are full original retail price no matter the condition. Dog ear corner, too bad full price. Rusted staples, too bad full price. Creased cover, too bad full price. Missing a corner, too bad full price. All of the sought-after after covers that I saw were the highest end of the price spectrum no matter what the condition was. At least they are consistent with their business model.

Gina Franco: They have a no return policy. So make sure it’s what you really want. My son bought a $65 comic and I was upset he spent so much on 1 book since he doesn’t have a lot of money. I’m trying to teach him the value of a dollar and to make it stretch. Lesson learned here. To the owners response: What kid notices a return policy sign and he wasn’t told of a return policy probably because he is a kid and you wanted his money. I’m not just interested in money I’m concerned how he spends his since he has so little of it only being able to work one day a week. He just spent 2 of his paychecks on a book he won’t finish reading. It was an impulsive buy. I told you I know my son and if he hasn’t finished reading the 1000+ pages books he got a year ago that he had to have he won’t finish this one. Don’t act like you know my son when you don’t. Oh and I looked up this book and found it way cheaper online at target, Walmart and Amazon wish my son would have done his homework first. He is very upset now knowing that he could have saved $20 and bought it somewhere cheaper. Like I said before lesson learned. So people please do your homework first before letting your kids being taken advantage of and ripped off at this store just to make a buck off of an innocent kid who is just learning the value of a dollar from his hard work earning it.

Lance Deshazo: Went to Best Buy to buy an Xbox and saw this bundle for the price listed below. I took the tag to the front and it rang up for the wrong price. I told the cashier that it was marked as the picture showed and he called for the manager. The manager immediately stated that I was lying and that no consoles he had in the store were the price in the picture. I said that it was not my fault that his products were marked wrong. I didn't even have a chance to buy it, the manager took it and refused to sell it to me for any price. Stunned, I went back and took the picture attached and showed the manager, to which he mumbled something under his breath. I then told him that I was going to let their corporate office know just how much he cared for their customers! I would have paid the price for it, since I had to go to Target to buy the same one, but I will not be called a liar in front of other customers in the store and you act like a child when you refuse to sell it to me after I bring up a valid point!!! You should move the tags into a place where they cannot be misread or messed with by your customers!!

LONG STORY SHORT, I’m currently at the store where my item is at to pick it up & they will not give it to me because it has already been processed & it has to be picked up by some janky pickup service called “ Roadie”. The item is literally still in the store, in the back being held hostage. I drove almost an hour here after work to pick this up, which they have boxed waiting for a courier & the will not give me my paid for item. I’ve been on the waiting phone with the courier for almost 30 minutes & nothing. This is horrible customer service & I do plan to cancel my BestBuy account & never shop here again..Never!

Austin Deceder: I recently was quoted for large sum of Magic bulk, after getting approval from a District Manager I was told to bring in the product. Cards would be quoted in flat rates of .50/100 cards agnostic of rarity, value, ect., I was reassured this repeatedly. I confirm the quote 2 more times before I bring in 200k+ Magic cards a few hours later and receive a completely different quote after another call to the district manager. The employee who previously quoted me then proceeded to gaslight me, apologizing that I was "under the assumption" that she said that. Any time she would reach back out to the district manager to clear up this discrepancy, she'd make a point to walk to the other side of the store to avoid me hearing the skewed narrative she was attempting to portray. From what i heard in pieces she was completely innaccurate about the contents of my product. 0 accountability. I wasted an entire afternoon on these people only for them to backpedal and re-quote me a number that was only barely over 10% of what was initially offered. I was blatently mislead , Absolutely ridiculous behavior. Do not sell here if you value your time.
