Cultivar: what do users think?
Erika Jones: Walking into a wild fire of air fryer smoke we entered company and co. After waiting at the bar for ten minutes, the bar tender continued to ignore us. Not even acknowledging we were there although the bar wasn’t full. We decided to leave after being ignored and continued our journey caked in the stretch of fryer smoke from company and co. Will not be back.
Charles Hurmiz: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Garrett Bevis: Very good coffee and good peopleFood: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Coffee Roasters Parking space Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options Free street parking …More
Michael Conge: Staff recommended a Lavender latte for my wife, which was okay albeit a bit on the herbal side. Second visit was the chai tea latte which was well received. Cute local coffee shop near downtown. Great place if you want to support local, and are looking for a great coffee shop environment.
Renae Price: Walk to the back for Sweet EMOtion's fabulous dairy-free ice cream. We will definitely be back!
E Parks: Great relaxed downtown NKC bar usually with local music as the rhino is connected to it.
Emma Sittenauer: Tried out this place for cocktails and was disappointed by the offerings. Both the Blackbird and Rino G+T were off-balance in their flavor ratios. The Blackbird in particular just tasted primarily of tequila rather than a blend of the flavors. It might be a good place for a pint, but I don't recommend it for a more classic cocktail and their coffee bar is closed by 6pm, so don't expect any coffee cocktails either.
Felicia Alvarez: Ordered an ice caramel latte and my husband got an iced chai latte. Worst drinks we both had. I threw mine away at home and lucky we had chai at home to fix my husband's. The inside was nice/clean and the worker was friendly. The old fashion donut was really good! Might try it again but not anytime soon.
Josh Morrison: Fantastic North Kansas City coffeehouse!
Katie Moreno (Kat): Cute coffee shop. Yummy coffee
Caroline Van Hyning: Coffee was great! Hoping to make it back for an event to see more of the atmosphere
Warren Powell: Nice place to go to and chill
Caleb Sommerville: Not sure what I'm rating (bar? Coffee shop? Food pop up?) but I like this place.
John Davison: Great service bar attached to RINO.
Hope Harms: There's a lot happening here at this multi-business establishment, and the space's energy transitions from day to night. Cash-only bar (there's an ATM in the adjoining room of The Rino), but it seems all the other vendors (coffee, sweets, savory) accept cards. First ventured here in its early days as Colony KC, and continued through its evolution to Cultivar, and now its recent branding update to Company & Co., and its maintained a through line of variety and community. We keep it in rotation for coffee meetups, meals, and concerts. I really like that during a show at The Rino you can take a breather (or decibel break) in the adjoining coffee/food space that has soft seating for lounging and still hear the music. Some aspects of the experience aren't as polished as others, sometimes gets chaotic in the evening with so many options going on at once. Perhaps that's expected, given the young, small, scrappy, local multi-shop venue that it is. It's not perfect, but it has a lot going for it.
John Van Hengel: Dead Beet Eats is my favorite.
Jacob Robertson: So I'm standing at the bar in a huge puddle of water with my credit card in hand and just hoping one of the bartenders looks me in the eye but sadly no. It's not crowded here, not sure what's going on. I walk away sad and thirsty.
Stephen Green: One of my favorite coffee stops in KC. Fantastic seasonal drinks and solid staff
Sharon Moore: This bar is cash only which is a huge inconvenience. It costs almost $4 to withdraw from the atm. Plus tip which was $2, equaling $6 total which was the cost of my drink. So I ended up spending $12 on a small well margarita. The drink was average and bartender seemed nice.
Alexander Vallar: An enteric but comfy coffee shop and bar combo! I've only indulged in the coffee shop experience; you'll fall in love instantly. Their baristas are outstanding humans and mixologists. Cultivar is a cultivator of astonishing individuals and aura. Both the drink and food menus are enormous! I'm talking donuts, cookies, an entire lunch menu, alcoholic beverages, and a caffeinated/coffee drink mecca. You'll be in paradise for all of those tea lovers out there; there is a separate menu just for us in terms of seating, plenty of couches, love seats, cozy chairs, and an assortment of tables sizes in terms of seating. There are even a few chairs outside! I'm in love with this place! The experience is an example of a local business crushing it!
Will Hargrave: Absolutely killer spot! Dead beet eats, sweet emotion, full bar and coffee shop, not a ton of seating but such an amazing place. We drive 25mins just to get vegan ice cream from sweet emotion and it's worth it every time. Not to mention the venue next door is great for smaller shows too!

Adri Guyer Photographer: what do users think?
Robin Lau: Adri is a FABULOUSLY skilled photographer! She took our daughter’s engagement and wedding photos, and her originality and artistry yielded the MOST gorgeous pictures that really conveyed their personalities and captured their genuine feelings in the moment!!! She really sets herself apart and ABOVE other photographers we’ve known! If you hire her, she will AMAZE!
Christine Clutton: Adri has been such a HUGE part of my business. She took photos of my very first event launching my company...and she's been my go-to photographer for all major (and minor) milestones in my business ever since. She has captured events, she has slayed my product photography, she has captured brilliant photos of me doing what I love. Her skill set is diverse and her attention-to-detail, professionalism, reliability, and genuine joy literally makes working with her talented self even better. Have loved all 3 years of working with Adri and can't wait for many more.
Jared Lainhart: Adri is absolutely amazing. This is our first time getting professional pictures done as a couple and it could not have been better. Adri made sure we were comfortable, got several angles/shots/locations, and made us feel like the center of the universe. The couple shots I saw on her camera made me so incredibly happy. I cannot wait to see the final shots. I am so excited. Thank you Adri!
Madelyn Johnson: Adri has been a breath of fresh air for myself and my company when it comes to our professional headshots! She's incredibly professional, friendly and produces quality shots. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a superb photography experience. Keep up the great work!!
Bo & Niki Nelson: Some people are just good with taking photos and that’s it...no way, not here! You get the complete package. Adri makes it all look so easy. You will be glad you worked with her.
Kaety Bowers: Adri Guyer is that rare breed of photographer that both knows exactly what you need and also intently listens to your wants and preferences. She somehow magically mixes them together and creates this amazing experience AND product. She's definitely in upper echelon of KC Photographers and I wouldn't hesitate to call her for any of my photo needs.
Rachel Fitzsimmons: Great to work with!
Mike ‘Horn Doctor’ Corrigan: Adri is as good as they come! Not only is she incredibly professional, the quality and artistic nature of her work is top notch! AND she’s an awesome human to work with!! Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Kelly Umbach: Book her now! Not only is Adri’s work excellent, she is one of the best people I know. I had her do business branding work, she was able to translate what I had in my minds eye to print perfectly. She’s the kind of gal you want to hang out with long past your session!
Paige Sheldon: I had Adri take my engagement pictures . She did a wonderful job keeping my husband and I having fun and feeling confident while being photographed .Her lovely personality made the entire experience top notch. The photos turned out beautiful and timeless . She was very professional and the value of the pictures were perfect . We are taking family pictures soon and plan on booking Adri to do them for us. You won’t be disappointed with Adri behind the camera on your special day, I’ve seen multiple weddings she shot and they were all beautiful .
Cati Winkel: Adri is fantastic! When I met her I knew she’d be able to perfectly capture the energy I wanted to portray for my new headshots and I can’t wait to work with her again! Thanks Adri!
Brian Rauber: Adri does fantastic work! She made the process fun and I was thrilled with the results. I highly recommend her.
Christine Carty-Polfliet: Adri did an amazing job with our family photos! This was the first time our two and a half year old had taken pictures and he was a bit hesitant to the process. However, Adri was so patient and fun to work with, and we had sooooo many amazing family photos - some of my favorite photos ever came from our session. I would highly recommend working with Adri!
Bill Holzhueter: We did a family shoot at a really cool location. Adri was very professional and we had a great time and great pics.
Danielle Atchison: Our firm hired Adri to take headshots and team photos and she did an awesome job! She spent time on the details for these very important photos that we use every day! She absolutely captured our firm’s ethos through her camera. We will continue to invite her to do firm photo shoots and headshots for new employees. She’s simply the best!!
Michelle Goth: Adri took photos for our family. The session was quick and painless! She captured great candid shots of us and a ton of fun shots of my son playing. Would recommend Adri to families, brides or businesses! She does incredible work!
Holly Krakowski: Adri is the best! We wanted last minute family pictures done for Easter and she was very easy to work with. She is great at letting your family interact naturally and capturing those moments instead of the pictures being too pose-y. Our toddler even had fun taking pictures and asks when we can do "pictures with Adri again." Would highly recommend!
K Bird: Adri is so much more than a photographer. After five minutes of getting to know her, you feel like you have been friends forever. I am a yoga instructor and I went to Adri to have some professional photos taken. I get very uncomfortable in front of a camera, but Adri made me feel like it was just me and her. I nearly forgot that the cameral was even there. I had so much fun playing in the studio with Adri and I can't wait to do it again. Her creativity is inspiring and captivating. When you book an appointment with Adri, you are signing up for an experience that will match the beautiful and organic photos to last a life time.
Kerri Pomerenke: Adri did some photography work for my business. She was great to work with, listened to what we wanted and came through with beautiful branded images.
Rita Clark: Adri photographed my son’s birthday party and as soon as I opened the gallery I began to happy cry.The moments she captured are gone now. Having those moments in a gallery to look back on forever are priceless. As a professional photographer myself, having Adri there allowed me to put my camera and phone down and fully enjoy the day.So, stop reading this review and just hire her already.#WorthEveryPenny

Photos Edge: what do users think?
Rosie Moon: We had the pleasure of having a portrait session with Erin and Marco, and the entire experience was a delight! They are fantastic to work with, and their photos are truly a work of art.
Thomas Krekow: Great wedding photography...
Amber John: Talked with them at a bridal expo and I was inquiring about a product that was on their show table, and I was very taken aback with their disrespectful mannerisms and attitudes towards my questions. This in itself turned me away from this company.
Shandy Vollrath: Erin and Marco with Photo's Edge made our daughter's senior photo session a fun and memorable experience. I'd hoped to find a photographer that could capture her personality as well as style and they did just that!My daughter had a wonderful time and they made her feel beautiful. The photos turned out stunning and we loved every single one.I absolutely recommend Photo's Edge and look forward to our next big event that they might capture the moment so beautifully.
Kate Vollrath: I had my senior pictures taken by Photos Edge and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out! Erin and Marco knew exactly how to showcase my style and personality in each one of the photos which made them really special. The overall experience was so much fun and I am so glad to have shared it with not only amazing photographers, but amazing people. I would 10000% recommend them to anyone.
Morgan S.: What can I say, Marco and Erin were auh-mazing to work with! My husband and I could not have been happier with the experience itself, and the pictures we now get to cherish for the rest of our lives. I actually discovered them at one of the bridal shows I went to as we were preparing for our wedding. In our initial conversation, they fielded my 20, or maybe more like 50, questions without skipping a beat. After seeing some of their work and talking with them that day I knew then and there I wanted to work with them, and thankfully after talking with husband and looking at their website together he was 100% on board, and we haven’t regretted it for a second. We did an extended engagement session with them, which I would highly recommend. Not only did the photos turn out beautifully, but the extra time with them gave us the opportunity to get used to them as our photographers and to get used to the idea of being together in front of a camera which helped to make our wedding day go much smoother. To be honest, I was a little worried about how my husband would do on both occasions because he can be a little shy when he is the center of attention or in front of the camera, but Marco and Erin helped us relax, open up, and come alive, working hard to inspire and to capture our different emotions and facial expressions They are people of excellence, have their own unique artistic style, pay obvious attention to detail, and pay skilled attention to the lighting, all of which resulted in capturing what I consider to be magazine quality photos. Practically they were super easy to work with and very flexible with our busy schedules and made it a point to touch base before our engagement session and our wedding day to make detailed timelines and plans and coordinated directly with our videographer and the venue to make sure everyone was on the same page. We had an intercultural wedding and a lot of different things planned for our wedding day and they worked hard to capture it all without getting overwhelmed or overwhelming us. They went above and beyond to make the most of every moment we shared together that day. I actually have video footage of them moving a couch that we rented off of the dance floor to prepare for our first dance! If that’s not service I don’t know what is! Definitely worth every penny!
Megan Fortney: Photos Edge is an amazing company! Erin and her husband Marco are great photographers and work so well together to create beautiful photos. I hired them to work at my wedding and I could not be any happier with how all of my photos turned out! Not only were the pictures amazing, but they were great at explaining each pose and breaking it down. I highly recommend Photos Edge for any event or wedding!
Drew McDermott: Very professional!! They were so fun and I couldn't have asked for better photos to remember the greatest day of my life! It was easy to work with them and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks Erin and Marco.
Erin Schmidt: Photos Edge is a dream to work with! They photographed my wedding and from the minute we decided to work together to the end of the reception, they made the process clear, easy and fun. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but this was one aspect of my wedding that I felt completely confident about. Erin and Marco work so well together and their positive attitudes are contagious. My family is still raving about how wonderful they are. Best of all, their work is brilliant! I felt that they went beyond taking photos and captured the essence of our family, our joy and our love. Thanks, Photos Edge, for helping us make memories!
Tracy Moore: We had such a wonderful experience! We have a special needs son who can be hard to photograph and they did a excellent job capturing our whole family including him!!!! I highly recommend them! They were great to work with and so very kind! And I just LOVE how the photos turned out.
Stacia Bokhoven: My fiance planned a surprise romantic weekend in Kansas City complete with shopping, a gondola ride and and engagement photo session. Being from Iowa he searched online for photographers. Based on Erin and Marcos beautiful work on their website he chose them. Saying he was looking for the best is a bit of an understatement. We are both professional photographers in Iowa and he is the president of the Professional Photographers of Iowa Association. As you can imagine finding the best photographers in Kansas City was a must. I am beyond happy with his choice of Photos Edge. The quality of their work is outstanding and they are amazingly fun to work with. Spending so many years behind the camera has made it uncomfortable switch roles and be the ones being photographed. Erin and Marco exceeded all expectations and not only made our session relaxing and fun but did it while creating stunning images we will cherish for many years to come. Thank you Erin and Marco for making our session amazing. We would gladly travel the 4.5 hours to visit you for future photography. If you are looking for the best in Kansas City, Congratulations! You have found them.
Jose Villarreal: Photos Edge first caught my attention at a wedding fair. I remember walking by their booth and being taking aback by their pictures, they look like something out of a magazine. At the time, I didn't say anything to my then fiancee (the last thing I wanted to do that day was to go to another booth and talk with another vendor), but I made a mental note to remember their name. Weeks later, after seeing many photographers and not being able to differentiate between any of them, I pulled up their website and showed it to my fiancee, she agreed... Photos Edge pictures are AMAZING.From our initial meeting, Marco and Erin were very easy to talk to, honest, funny, and, above all, professional. On that first meeting they told us everything we wanted to know about their business and the terms we discussed that day never changed; they delivered exactly what they promised. They are passionate about their work and that reflects in their pictures. Their energy is contagious and the results are so very easy to see.On our wedding day, Erin and Marco were a pleasure to work with, they both did a fantastic job. Not only did we enjoy having them there, but our families and wedding party commented how fun and easy it was to work with them. But the true magic of their work happens after the pictures are taken. Marco and Erin spent countless hours making sure every single one of our pictures is something they would want to print in a magazine. They told us that when we first met and I didn't really understood what it meant until we received our wedding pictures. They were able to capture so many moments and memories that we will be able to share with our family and friends... and each one of those pictures they took are astonishing! Not only do we highly recommend them, we can't wait to use Photos Edge again in the future.
Chris Travels: I have had the first hand experience of seeing Erin & Marco work their magic, both behind the camera and behind the computer. They are hard working AND they are artists. And above all, they are committed to their clients and their craft. Their images are one of a kind and leave the viewer with some kind of emotion to take away from the moment it was captured. I look forward to following their careers and future images.
Ron Ruth: As the owner of a Kansas City wedding DJ company, Ron Ruth Wedding Entertainment, I've had the great pleasure of working with Photo's Edge Photography on both a business and personal level. The quality of photos that owners Erin & Marco capture are vibrant portraits of not just people and places, they reveal the emotion of the moment and convey a lasting pictorial story that will be treasured forever. Marco & Erin are quality focused and work in harmony to assure that every client they serve enjoys nothing less than the ultimate experience of enjoyment and care. Plus, Photo's Edge is one of only a handful of photographers in the area I refer with confidence.
Erin Jensen: WOW! I cannot say enough great things about the wedding photos we got from Photos Edge. Erin and Marco were on top of their game and captured every special moment. These two really compliment one another as a pair and it showed in the quality of work we received from them. Erin knew just how to pose people to look their best and she & Marco captured TONS of beautiful candid pictures of our guests and reception. I've had so many compliments on our photos that I can hardly keep up and there is no way I could pick just one favorite! I wish I had more wonderful adjectives to describe their work- but really, it speaks for itself- and I am so glad we picked them to document our special day!
Anonymous User: Pros: Their pictures are beautiful! You may have already seen it on their website.Cons: If you want your wedding picture to look like those on the website, you will end up paying more than the wedding package price. So ask a lot of questions before you sign the contract! We all know that weddings are not cheap and Photos Edge will do everything to squeeze each dollar out of your pocket. The one thing that upset me more than the money was their attitude. I was not expecting it at all, as they came off as a friendly and sweet couple in the beginning. But on our wedding day, they had a disagreement/verbal fight with each other while they were taking our pictures. This was very awkward and embarrassing for not just us, but our wedding party and families. We were very disappointed with their display of immaturity and lack of professionalism. Additionally, further communication done after the payment was short and rude.

Carrie Porter: It was honestly super lame. MostOf the game machines ate your coins or didn’t give you your tickets. Or didn’t work. The mini golf was poorly maintained. steffh blackmon: Love it but looking for fun places for kids age 5
Liah Bruckner: I brought my son here today 5/5/2023. It was at 5:30 and they were not busy at all. There was one helpful older gentleman who told me to get tokens from the machine and not the counter because you don’t have to pay tax. Other than that every young person working here was rude and not helpful. They were all standing in a circle talking, not wanting to be interrupted. When I went to the counter originally for tokens the young woman working argued with a young guy on who would help me. They were two feet in front of me arguing about helping me. It was awkward. I finally said “can anyone just get me some tokens.” That’s when the older gentleman told me about the machine. We used the terminator shooting game and only one side worked, the other took my coins. Several of the machines took the tokens but wouldn’t play. With the rude teenagers working there it was pointless to ask for our tokens back. We then went to get food from their snack shack.. the two people working said order from up there and pointed to the front desk and walked away from us.. so we didn’t even bother. We wanted to play mini golf, but couldn’t get anyone to help us get golf clubs. Overall the workers really ruined the experience for us. We won’t be back. Super disappointed because this was a staple of both mine and my partners childhood that we had hoped to share with our son. Hoping they see this review and make the necessary changes in employment to make this place thrive again.
Krista Donovan: I highly suggest buying your tickets from Groupon. If you try to buy them off cool crest's website and head in shortly after the staff will tell you it takes 24 hours for it to register in their system. This was very inconvenient. They had to issue a refund (which can take 5-7 days) and buy then purchase the tickets from them in person at the desk for a higher price. Other than that, the go-karts were really fun! Mini golf could use some nice decor or something to liven it up. Arcade was a little on the run down side. Some of them were out of order and/or displayed low tickets signs. My kids enjoyed it though so that made it worth it.
David & Keri Birk: Great family fun

Kansas City Zoo: what do users think?
Elizabeth Davis: We love the zoo. The penguins and the stingray's are our favorite. Lots of indoor places to cool off. Plus the boat is up and running. It is such a cool experience!Visited on Weekday Wait time 10–30 min Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $11–15 …More
Vince Benedetto: I appreciate all the work the staff put into taking care of all the critters!!Had a great experience, been upwards of 15 years since I visited and overall enjoyable. This time gap gives me an interesting perspective now, after so many years of projects and upgrades. Knowing there's tons of money being pumped into the zoo overall helps my feelings, but still feel the need to express thisI was tremendously under-impressed by the lack of relatively recent monies and updates put into the whole North sector of the Zoo. All the old cat/bear cages are great ideas for reuse, free and easy to throw smaller mnkeys, cats and birds in there. But it's 90% identical to my childhood in the 90's and I left that area disappointed. Felt like they were all relegated to that area, while the spotlight shines on the more popular animals.
Michael Donhauser (Mike van Dee): Wirklich schöner Zoo mit mehreren Fahrgeschäften

Matt Tessier: I hate to leave a three star review. It’s an impressive zoo, and we saw some cool things, but the ride situation is out of control. It seems like everything is a paid “add-on” once you get inside after having paid a high admission price. The train ride was probably 100 yards and the “tram ride” takes you like 150 ft, and after you pay for that, you find out it’s not round trip! Then the sky ride is extra money…then the carousel is extra money….then the boat ride is extra money…then feeding the stingrays is extra money. Felt extorted once inside. Very sad to leave such a review for my wife’s childhood zoo, because there are some good memories there, but the ride situation is unfortunate
Omar Alexander Guzmán Arévalo: Excelente experiencia!Se los recomiendo mucho. 🙂
christopher Barnes: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $11–15More
Emily H: I absolutely love coming here. Can't wait to see all the new cool things they have planned!

Kent Boydstun II: An ok zoo, no what I would expect for a major metropolitan area. Would highly recommend getting the bands, helps avoid paying for the trams, carousel and other things. Be prepared for high cost food. Would recommend bring a lunch as they have plenty of picnic tables to have lunch at.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $21–30 …More
Alexis Donnelly: First thing I noticed walking in this zoo was trash in the turtle pond. Was a bit unsettling. There was a lot more than I would have liked to see. Most animals looked unhappy. My biggest pet peeve was the straws they give you for the slushies. Someone in corporate really needs to know about that. The tiny straws are not appropriate for large slushies at all. The guy working the ski-lift could use an attitude change. Soley giving 4 stars based off of memories with family. Seriously though the straw thing was a visible problem for everyone who had one.

mindy griffin: Parlor is unique. The first level reminds me of a chic hotel lobby or upsale airport lounge area with a bar. The upstairs feels like a mall food court with a rooftop bar area. It was a great spot for my family to get together and celebrate my nieces college graduation. We enjoyed trying out each other's food choices. It was also a good place for my friends and I to eat dinner before going out to play arcade games at Up Down. My favorite food I've tried is the Korean BBQ fries from sliders. They give you big portion for the money and are very filling. My friends liked the chicken Swarma salad at Sidos Mediterranean. The rice cakes from Sura Eats were pretty good.

James Tanuis: Outstanding! We tried three restaraunts: Mac N' Co, Mother Cluckers & Ting's Bistro. My first time in today with a group that had frequented this location multiple times before. Love that everyone can satisfy there own cravings in one place.Personal favorite was the comeback chicken sandwhich from Mother Cluckers and there captain crunch milkshake. Spicy, super crispy, and an absolutely enormous portion! Worth every bit of the money we spent. Will be back soon to give Sura Eats a try!Returned again on 6/1/2023 and this time we tried SLIDESHOW and SURA EATS and the yet again the quality of the meal was outstanding.
