Stephanie Sumulong: We've gone here to bowl twice and the lanes are jacked up and curve in terrible ways. The pinsetters don't work properly and knock down extra pins and take away your chance to finish your turn. The games in the arcade are either broken or cheat you out of your credits---you swipe to play and the machine never turns on. We will never come back and waste our money.

Micheal Sifford: Honestly I would have rated it better because overall everything was awesome and really fun and most of the employees were cool and really nice. I honestly had a blast and spent a few hours there doing various things. Honestly arcades and bowling alleys are like my favorite places there’s nothing better then the nostalgia of these retro kinds of things. The reason why I’m taking it down two stars is because of the attitudes of two of the guys that were in charge of the prize station and laser tag. One of them had the worst attitude I’ve ever seen in a customer service employee ever any time you’d ask him anything he’d cop an attitude. One of the games was broken and it took my credits so I asked him for help and he came swiped my card again so I lost more credits and he was like oh well you don’t have enough credits I can’t do anything about it gave me my card back and walked away. I went and checked my card at the machine and it said I still had over 100 credits so that clearly wasn’t the issue. Then when I traded in my prize points I grabbed exactly what I had credits for and he said I didn’t have enough when I know for sure I did. I had to call a manager to help. He was overly rude for no reason and it really ruined my experience a little. The other dude with him wasn’t much better but at least he was trying to help. I asked him to look for something in the back and he literally just said I can’t we don’t have it anyway instead of actually trying. I left so mad I was shaking because of my stress and anxiety. Honestly I would recommend this place just be careful and watch out for people’s attitudes and not wanting to do their jobs

kai James: overall experience was great. at least 5 games broken and took credits. one worker was completely rude. didn’t catch his name but he seemed new. he would blankly stare at us when we asked for something and also didn’t help when we told him our credits were stolen from broken machines.

Brandi Stevens: This was our first experience having a birthday party at Main Event. We were a little nervous since this venue (for a birthday party) was new to us. The first manager to greet us told us that the Gravity Ropes would be closed for the duration of our party due to a training. This was disappointing to hear because we had 17 sixth grade boys that really wanted the full Main Event experience. However, during the time that of our party there was a shift change and the night manager, Tremane, made sure to open up the Gravity Ropes before the training began. This gave the kids in our birthday party an hour to play in the Gravity Ropes area. Tremane has EXCELLENT customer service skills and made sure that our visit was the BEST it could be. He was so kind and helpful. Tremane made sure that our time at Main Event was worth it. We will definitely be booking future parties here in the future--especially if Tremane is the manager on duty.

december 2021: I've never seen a saturday night but the owner Jeff is a great friend of mine and runs a solid ship. I hear its almost ready to reopen.

Josephine Lundergan: My wife and I were first timers at the club. We didn't really know what to expect, just looking to meet people and talk, maybe drink a bit and dance. The reception and the security guard were very friendly. The other patrons, however, not so much. They were a bit cliche-y and no one seemed very approachable. And I don't know if it was because we're a lesbian couple, or because we're so young, or because we're new, but a majority of the other patrons kept giving us weird or dirty looks. We didn't feel very welcome, so we ended up leaving early. It wasn't a bad experience per say, just disappointing.

Beth Kerns: Disappointing customer service. We rented a photo booth for our annual resident block party, and while the photo booth worked well and printed cute pictures, carnival times just wasn't very professional. The day before our party, I called to confirm that they were coming (I assumed they would reach out to me, but hadn't heard anything), and she had no idea who I was or what I was talking about, even though we had already received an invoice and paid a deposit. She then said she would make sure they had a photo booth available and call me right back...never heard back from her.On the day of the event, the guy who dropped the machine off, seeing that we didn't have a level place in the shade, said, "You know this has to be on concrete in the shade, right?" He was very condescending and I didn't appreciate it, especially considering the owner told me NOTHING in advance about placement (or anything for that matter).And finally, when the owner came back to make sure the booth was set up properly and put a tent over it, she said nothing to us. Not a handshake or thank you...nothing. Nothing near what you would expect when you're paying a big chunk of money.I'll give them two stars because the photo booth was nice and our residents loved the photo strips, but everything else left A LOT to be desired. Will not use them again and would not recommend.

Crystal Haley: I rented a few items from this place for a carnival themed birthday party that I was having for my daughters. The truck showed up 15 mins before the party to set up. Relieved that they finally made it, we watched them set up the Carnival “Midway” and the included games. As they were setting up the Midway, they realized that they couldn’t set up the games because they forgot the table to sit the games on! They decided to use a picnic table from the park shelter that we rented. We needed that table for seating, so many of the children had to stand when eating. Also, after the party started, and the children were attempting to play the games, we quickly realized that one of the games was missing pieces needed in order for the game to be played. After calling Beverly for the 50th time that day to complain, she offered me a $6 refund (which I never received) for the truck forgetting the table. Although the lack of the table, the time of delivery, the missing pieces to the game made the entire party look and feel like a joke. Carnival Times single handedly ruined my daughter’s party, and I will never use or recommend their services again.

Mikaela D: Carnival Times is always my family's go-to for birthday parties for sure. They have a HUGE selection of inventory to choose from and the customer service is great. Beverly, the owner is such a sweetheart and easy to work with. This summer we rented a mechanical bull for a house party and the guys that staffed it were awesome! They definitely made sure everyone had a good time. All around a great company 🤙👏👏👏

Clary LOPEZ: Well I spent over 30 dollars in 8 balloons. The dollar store is a better option. The balloons from Party city are special. In order for the balloons to last more than 8 hours you have to pay 30 cents extra for the clerk to pretend putting a jelly substance in the balloons before inflating them. She actually does not put anything she just pretends . Then you get charged a dollar for a bag to carry the balloons but you have to remove them immediately from this bag because they “suffocate “ and will deflate within 6 hours. Then you are asked if you want the string floor length or table length? I answered floor length. The clerk immediately grab the strings tied a knot and cut them “table length”. Please go to the dollar store for your balloons. Never again!!

I messed up my balloon order for delivery and asked the store if they could help, but they would only refer me to the website telling me to "see what's available." Super attentive, helpful and courteous, vested employees .. and I met several while making my purchases. The store was well lit and welcoming, and fairly well stocked and while shopping, I had 2 employees offer to help me and then each time walk me over to where items were that I needed. So nice to have a Party City nearby!!

Erika Wooley: I purchased favors for my son's birthday. It has a Chiefs theme. Everything was pricey I thought. We spent about $79.00. We can pick up his balloons the day before the party. The Chiefs stuff was kind of picked over but we found some good stuff.

I work specifically with children who come into care while our team is working on placing them with a relative, foster home, etc. Another worker and I brought a child to play at the gym. This child enjoys running around and exploring so this was the perfect place for him to play. Not only did he seem to enjoy this place, but also Rob (staff member) was extremely kind to us and the child. This is an amazing and welcoming place. He sits at the front counter, never smiles, is good about rolling hills eyes and is just blatantly rude.I have four children and have spent a lot of money here not just on open play but birthday packages as well. I kept coming back because my kids enjoy it although I believe it is very overpriced.Equipment is dirty and old. Could be spruced up. I would continue to come in with my children and put aside these things because they like it but because of the terrible customer service, or lack there of, I will not be back again.

The event was nothing short of spectacular - my son was positively delighted and his friends were thoroughly entertained. Though there were minor hiccups along the way, the adept manager swiftly rectified the situation and offered recompense. I must extend my sincerest gratitude to the assistant manager, whose professionalism, composure, and sunny disposition were a breath of fresh air amidst my frustration with the delayed food - an unfortunate miscommunication with their third-party food provider. Despite this setback, the cuisine was delectable and well worth the wait. In conclusion, Pump It Up is a superlative party venue for toddlers.

The staff was great, allowing us to set up for the party in the party room early and also helped direct adults to complete the registration for each child before the playing began. I would recommend this venue for 8-2 year olds.There seemed to be something for all ages in both play rooms!

kupo laf: I wish I could say that we had a great time, but my kids didn't want to stay the whole 2 hours because they were just overstimulated and done.It'd be way better if there was more staff to monitor the play areas since some parents are too into their phones to monitor their own kids.My special needs son was having a fun time in the inflatable with the balls but unfortunately some unruly kids were being rude and were bullying him. Their parents never stepped in to stop them and I had a difficult time helping my kids out, I ended up having to yell at the other kids to stop. I know kids are kids and I'm all about them having a fun time with the games they make up, but I don't tolerate kids being inconsiderate and bullying the peers who are differently abled.I'd like to try and bring my kids back, but sadly it'll be awhile before my son is over the traumatic experience.My other kiddo did have a lot of fun.The place is pretty nice and clean. There's plenty of parking. They could use more seating, storage lockers and coat hooks though.I would recommend this place to my parent friends with NT kiddos. But for my friends with ND children, be weary. There's A LOT of sensory input! If there was a sensory friendly hour for special needs kids, that'd be great!!!

Erin Brandon: I intentionally scheduled my son's birthday party very early to secure Pro-Bowl weekend (no Chiefs game conflicts). Well only 8 days before the party, Pump It Up calls to inform us that they did not secure required permits and cannot be open for his party. Needless to say, my son was devastated, and we are scrambling to find alternative locations/times with only one week's notice...which is proving next to impossible. Not to mention trying to reach out to everyone who was invited and RSVP'd to inform them of the change in plans. It would have been much more courteous to inform us of this risk well in advance of our secured date.

KC: Do you guys not want peoples business? How many times do I have to call and never get a call back? We have sent emails and left voice messages since the first month you re open-end. But you have time to post on Facebook? Just this should be a red flag for anyone trying to book a party they charge $400+ for. yikes.

Andrea Brandt: I had never been to their easter hunt. It was a good experience. I little chaotic with the egg hunt itself, kids weren't listening, at the end if you didn't get a certain amount of eggs they gave extra eggs to those eggs. Over all it was a nice afternoon with my family.

Jj: We brought our 15 month old today for the Easter event and he had fun! He loved the giant sand pit and the sidewalk chalk. The chicken tenders were really good too (like better than most chicken tenders we order for him at real restaurants). He ate almost the whole basket of them!This is definitely a really fun place to bring kids who are super agile because there's a good amount of physical activities like the bouncy house and caterpillar tunnel. My little guy couldn't do a ton but at least he liked meeting the Easter bunny. :) We will definitely be coming back!

Carrie Allen: If you are planning a wedding, Faulkner’s Ranch is where you want to be!! I lived out of state when we were looking for a place to get married. We looked at photos online and popped in during pumpkin season to see the ranch. Even with all the pumpkin set up and fall fun, I could picture the beautiful summer wedding! Carina and her team were so fun to work with! They took so much off my planning plate. My soon to be husband accepted a job in Missouri, so I’m the midst of planning our wedding, I was now job hunting and house hunting! I arrived in KC the week of our wedding with a house full of boxes. But I didn’t have to worry as Carina and team had all our decorations that we had picked out. The menu was easy to choose from! The day of the wedding it was so hot, we made some minor adjustments for guests to keep them cool before the outdoor ceremony. Our DJ, Greg from Party It Up Entertainment was so helpful in helping us decide on ceremony music and reception music. From the walk in songs for the bridal party to making sure we kept people dancing! We had the best time wedding day! The only thing we wished was that the pray had gone on longer! We had the best time with Carina and all the team at Faulkners ranch! Be sure to check them out when you start looking at venues! If we could give a 10 star rating we would! Sarah Hawkins: We hosted our annual company holiday party here last week! The food was great, the decor was beautiful and the staff was so pleasant. We had about 30 people who weren't accounted for that came and they were able to make it work last minute! We are so appreciative how everything there was handled. The warm chocolate chip cookies are a must for your order!

Cory Smith: If your going for a very large function make it brief and go to the restroom before you go. Restrooms are very large but only have 1 toilet for the men and two urinals and only 3 toilets for women. Was there last night for a corporate function and the line for the single toilet was up to 6 guys deep! There was more than enough space to have another 3 toilets and 2 more urinals. Just poor management when the Barn was modernized. Other than that is was nice.

Venus Van Horn: We had our Company Holiday Party at Faulkner's and we couldn't have been more pleased. The space was decorated for Christmas and it was a perfect combination of down home comfort and holiday elegance. Every step in the process was excellently managed by Carina the event coordinator. The food was delicious. The DJ/MC kept the party moving along with his wonderful selection of holiday music and banter. They even provided group activities that the team will be laughing about for years to come. Everyone raved about the party and insisted that Faulkner's Ranch become an annual holiday tradition. I highly recommend!!
