Tim Persson: I contacted ATD about adding on a ME commercial rating. Jim immediately scheduled the whole process from sim to flights to checkride. This is by far the most organized flight school I have ever worked with. After spending time with Bill in the sim I was impressed by his approach to maintenance, fleet management, and the quality of instruction. I have no doubt that his attention to detail is the reason they have been able to maintain such an unprecedented safety record.

Michael Cutler: I came to town to fly with my elderly grandfather who was a pilot for many years. Having finally earned my private certificate, I was excited at the prospect. ATD made renting the plane easy. As far as affordability, their aircraft cost $20 less per hour than my local FBO. My only frustration, and it's a part of the process, was that I had to pay for a full hour of rental and an hour for an instructor adding about $200 to my rental cost. Overall, the company was very easy to deal with, extremely polite, and I would recommend them for a pilot learning to fly.

Christina Dieling (Chrissi): Went through the fast track commercial multi engine training with them and must say I couldn’t have asked for a better school! My instructor was extremely knowledgeable, respectful and caring. All airplanes are in excellent shape and incredibly well kept for being flown several hours a day.This is the kind of school everyone should go with!!!Each and every person of their staff is sooo friendly and amazing.I got referred to ATD by a friend and I’ll refer ATD to many more!

Trey Breshears: I took my part 107 test with ATD. Scheduling was super easy, and when I got there they were waiting and ready to help me. The testing environment was very quiet and the instructors did everything they could to help me feel confident before taking my exam. The test supplements and computers were also in great shape. The staff was helpful, efficient, and very friendly.

George Ramos: I came to ATD Flight Systems to take my Part 107 Exam. I had to schedule through the phone with PSI but managed to get in the same day. Everyone here was kind and courteous the environment was pleasant and it was truly a joy taking my exam here. If anyone is looking for a good place to take the Part 107 exam with ample parking this is definitely the place to go!

CJ D: This is a great place to take flight lessons from in Kansas City. They have good rates and quality instructors. If you have the time you can go from 0 hours to Private Pilot in a month and a half and 35 hours. Ask for Christian Jones, he was my instructor and said he love flight instructing and wants all the students he can get! I encourage anyone and everyone who's ever been interested in aviation to at least go take one of their intro flights, it's a great way to see if it's for you.

Michael Leon: I have been training here for a little over a year and this is by far the best flight school I have found, they work well with my crazy work schedule and they always have a plane when I need one, my instructor Eric Stauffer is by far one of the best instructors I have ever flown with he is very knowledgeable and cares about his students. I would recommend ATD and Eric to anyone wanting to learn how to fly or just if your just looking for a rating this is the place to be!

Google User: I'm currently a private pilot trying to get my instrument rating. I've tried to get up in the air multiple times. The first couple times the instructor that I wanted to fly with said he was booked full of students that day however when I looked at the online schedule there was more than enough time to fly. Especially when he only fly's in the evening. The Second time I had an appointment scheduled I waited close to an hour for the instructor (same one) to take a flight with me. I got a text from the chief flight instructor that when booking the same day that it is recommended to let someone know that I scheduled, when simply texting the instructor when he was available to fly was getting no where. As well as I had to get the online Schedule app because I could not call in and schedule an appointment. The instructor then texts me and tell me he left 30 min early before I got there and didn't know I was on the schedule but implied it was my fault. For this I would not recommend flying here.

What is that saying only the guilty hirer attorneys?And I quote; "Clutch: Joel had experienced an intermittent issue with the clutch disengagement before his stop in Oklahoma. He consulted a trained mechanic who jumped the aircraft battery and that fixed the issue. There were no issues with the clutch during the flight from Oklahoma to El Paso."Anyone who knows ANYTHING about life, jump starting does not FIX issues. What was the issue it corrected? I can go on and on, and will during the course of this situation, they have dug themselves so deep with LIES, they need an attorney to dig them out! To all who are reading Joel was delivering the helicopter to me where I took delivery. Do you think he mentioned he fixed the helicopter by jumpstarting...NO!Again, I am one person...but think long and hard before putting you, your family or anyone else in the hands of this company!BUYER BEWARE!! Do not buy a helicopter from Skybound Helicopters, especially from Ryan. I took delivery of a 2021 Robinson R22 that had known issues by Ryan, his mechanic and the pilot who flew the helicopter to me but were not disclosed. Ryan has violated his own sales contract, delivered and un-airworthy helicopter and has left me to fix the problems that were inherited. There will be more to follow, many dealerships out there, SKIP this one!!

Easy to work with and plan with and make custom trips.

I believe I booked with tommy and he was very helpful answered any and all questions.We did the 20 minute private tour thru johnson county for our 11 year anniversary. And it was absolutely amazing. Our pilot was paul disney and he was very professional and answered any question we had about the experience. We arrived about an hour early and he even went ahead and worked us in so we did not have to wait around. Paul also took some pictures for us to have for a lifetime. So thanks to everyone at heartland for making this such a great experience would recommend to anyone. We will definately be back.
