Steve Ayers: Excellent experience all the way around. There was a tiny mixup with a balloon I ordered that didn’t make it on the delivery truck. They answered the phone immediately and she told me it would be taken care of the same day. Within 2 hours, on a Sunday, someone was at my house. Not only did they bring out 3 balloons instead of the one I ordered, they also sent a really nice box of chocolates for free!!! And the plant was beautiful and very high quality. Great company, NOT sure why the quality is going down hill so fast.

S S: I was an out-of-town bride that had flowers ordered by family for my wedding. The arrangements were mainly white roses and they were stunning! I didn't even know what they'd look like but Shackelford is who my local family always uses so I told my aunt that whatever arrangements she wanted made would be fine. The arrangements were timeless and elegant and just the right amount, not overwhelming - just simply beautiful!!!(I didn't get my bouquet here as I wanted something really specific and had found a place to make it before I'd even known my aunt wanted to get flowers from here)

Taylor Breen: Very disappointed in my experience with Shackelford. I had an appointment with the owner to discuss flowers for my 2023 wedding. My mom and I were excited to just talk flowers and get a possible quote. Appointment was forgotten by the owner which can be understandable. BUT the owner just brushed us off. I was made to feel like it was such a burden to come in and take up their time. The receptionist was great. I’m sure they see a lot of business so one bride doesn’t matter but I was just disappointed in the overall lack of customer service. If you’re looking for flowers for your wedding I would suggest someone more personable.

I have begun a tradition of purchasing a Santa from Shackleford's for my young granddaughter and look forward to returning this year. The customer service is gracious.

All of the floral arrangements seem to be custom-made, and the price indicates that. The designer created a beautiful floral arrangement that instantly put a smile on the recipient's face. Everyone in the store was quite personable and asked for specific flower and garnish requests. Across the board, it was an extraordinary venture.

Anastasia Gans: Low quality of flowers - wilt within 2-3 days. Received a bouquet for Valentine’s Day, on Friday most of the flowers were wilted and the bouquet looked pathetic. Mind you, I change water and cut the stems daily on all the bouquets I get. Contacted the business and were told this is normal. Picture attached, you be the judge.This is not the first time I’ve experienced a quality issue at this place - assumed that previous bouquets were purchased OTC and not called in, thought may be they sat at the store for too long and “aged”. This arrangement was ordered in, so no excuse there.The store is adorable otherwise; my go-to for greeting cards and gifts (including potted plants). Will avoid buying flowers in the future.

I only wish the flowers would last forever because they were all so marvelously crafted and stunningly beautiful. Raquel Oswald: My boyfriend friend ordered flowers for valentines day. Not only did they not deliver, they didn't return phone calls , didn't offer a solution. Advised my bf to send in a picture of his order confirmation for a full refund. It hasn't happen.This shop ruined more our Valentines day, they told my boyfriend your not the only one who's didn't get delivered. We sent a picture of our order confirmation as they instructed us to. No response and they don't answer the phone. Perhaps a better business bureau complaint is in order..

Beverly Thorpe: My mother received an azalea plant in sympathy for my sister’s passing. A plant vs flowers so it would last. The leaves kept falling off and the blooms looked a bit diseased on the edges. It was not in good health. When she had a chance after funeral arrangements (6 days after she got the plant) she called to let the company know. My mother knows her plants! They argued with her telling her she wasn’t taking care of the plant correctly. The lady that she talked to secondly, wouldn’t let my mother talk and then hung up on her. Don’t use this business!

When I called about it the person was incredibly rude, yelling that I should be grateful because they used more expense (ugly) flowers and threatened to go get them back from my sister’s shower. I can’t believe this place is in business.

John C Neilson: I ordered flowers and a balloon for my wife for this past mothers day asking for them to be delivered the day before. I specifically selected a local florist to help support their business during this time of closures. Towards the evening I tried calling them to determine if something was wrong or not. All I got was an answering machine saying they were a 24/7 delivery florist. I left 3 voice messages and no one called me back. The next morning I called again and finally got a hold of someone. I asked them about my delivery which never came. I was asked to call back at 1pm. I called back at 1 pm and no one could tell me if my flowers were going to be delivered or not. I was promised they would call me back around 3pm. No call. Finally around 4pm they were delivered. And as you can see from the photos they were not fresh, guess they were sitting in someone's trunk for two days. And NO balloon that they charged me for either. I will not be using them again.

I picked it up today and gave it to my wife. She absolutely loved it. It is beautifully, well-crafted art. In addition, when I picked the flowers up today there was also a lovely jar of Hershey's kisses with a nice ribbon that I received. This is not the first time I have purchased flowers here and I have always been fully satisfied. The owner goes above and beyond in my book.

Lani Chang: More than just flowers, each arrangement they make is a work of art. Lily and Betsey LOVE what they do, and it shines through in the high quality of their work. I can’t thank them enough for adding such a special touch to my day and putting an even bigger smile on my face every time I looked at them.In addition to knowing flowers, Lily Floral Designs know how to run a business, how to interact with their clients, and bring ideas and photos to life (even vague ideas like most of mine were at first!). Their team is incredibly FRIENDLY and FUNNY and responds to all inquiries and follow-ups PROMPTLY and thoroughly. No detail is forgotten or lost on them.To be specific about my experience with Lily Floral Designs, my color palate was Bird of Paradise, so bright, bold, tropical (anything but pastels, reds, and white). However, I didn’t want all tropical flowers in my bouquet, I wanted to mix of tropical (my dad is from Hawaii) and bright/bold Midwest flowers (mymom is from Kansas and is where I grew up). It was a tough ask since there are few similarities between Hawaii and Kansas, but they gave exactly that and more. My bouquet had everything. Bright purples, oranges, pinks, big tropical leaves, and even bird of paradise. The bouquet had so many different flowersand colors which added different levels of textures and dimensions that it was impossible to stop staring at throughout the day. The size of the bouquet was also perfect. It was big enough to be jaw dropping and stand out in every photo but not too big that it was heavy and hard to hold throughout pictures.Lastly- the table and bar arrangements were just as beautiful as the bouquets. They were simple and elegant but dynamic, so they stood out on each table, you couldn’t help but stare at them.Lily and Betsey gave me exactly what I wanted and then some, I couldn’t be happier with my decision to choose Lily Floral Designs as my wedding florist and can’t wait to buy more arrangements from her in the future.

Did not even try to fix the problem wanted to deliver 3 days later and offered no discount. Shady business practices. We shared some color swatches, some Pinterest inspiration boards, and had a number of emails throughout the process, which we found very valuable and led to a terrific output. On the collaboration front. Lily Floral collaborated with a balloon vendor to bring the archway to life. We had a vision for a balloon/flower arch along with the rest of the arrangement and they made it happen.- Speaking of output: The colors, texture, and quality were unmatched! We were very impressed with the precision and execution!
