Blue Sky Fertility: what do users think?
Connor Mesey: What can I say? I love coming here!
Sadie Poe: I found Dr. Riggs well before Blue Sky. It was 2010 and I needed a fibroid removed. He was the surgeon and was amazing. Never before have I had a doctor answer questions and sit in the consultation room like he had all day to discuss our options. He also helped me with getting pregnant in 2012. When I was ready to try for another baby in 2016 he was no longer in the area and I had to see someone else. That was a terrible experience. that doctor treated me like a number. I remember wishing Dr. Riggs was still in the area. When I heard he came back I was elated. It was too late for me, but to be able to refer other people to him was exciting. I do not have enough good things to say about him. Even though I've never been to Blue Sky, I'm sure his staff is amazing, too! He will always be in my heart and a close part of our family because he made my family.
Rebecca Clark (Becca): A complete success with in one year of our first meeting Dr Riggs and the staff. They are very friendly. Dr Riggs has great bedside manner. Every one from the front desk to the nurses are polite and kind. We were blessed with twins.
Erica: I am from Wichita and after having problems and disagreements with the 1 clinic here, we decided to check our options elsewhere I did a lot of research for a Dr. Who would care. We looked around KC, OKC, and Tulsa. We ended with our choice at Blue Sky .We've been going through our fertility treatments. I must say again. The staff and Dr. Riggs himself are absolutely amazing. Every visit, every staff member is so friendly and always greet you with a smile. Even if you're having a bad day or don't get the best results of what you're hoping for. They go over and beyond to help you feel comfortable and welcomed. They talk you through all the results and will explain anything you need. The below is in regards to sema 4, not the clinic itself.Little update had the sema 4 test done as they suggested. Know up front This is not chromosome testing but tests for different genetics . they say the consult will go over all results and answer all questions. But this is false. Our person over the phone would not explain in depth. Luckily I had googled what our result meant beforehand or else we would have walked away more confused. And they tell you to meet an actual genetic counselor to go over results. If you wish to have genetic screening done, justbdo your research to make a choice. Find an actual genetic dr and get their opinions
Ain't No Half Steppin: Dr. Riggs and his staff are amazing to work with. They are always welcoming and concerned about their patient's best interest. Thank you for your diligent disposition an work.
j mac: Dr. Riggs and his staff were amazing ! Infertility is a difficult and emotional journey, at Blue Sky they treat you as a person, and not another number. His medical knowledge and ability is also top notch, I never doubted him and his team throughout the process and it definitely paid off!
Katherine Gard: My husband and I have been working with Blue Sky since March of this past year. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Riggs and his team. We just finished our egg retrieval last week so we are not pregnant yet but I have full confidence they will be able to help us grow our family. Dr. Riggs even took our call at 6:30 am when we had questions on our first days of STIMS. For any one in the Kansas City are that is looking for a fertility clinic, Blue Sky is the absolute best! They will know you by name and treat you so well.
Carrie S: I have limited interaction with Blue Sky, I was tested to be a donor to a family member and Blue Sky diagnosed me with POF so I was not a candidate. As shocking and emotional as that was, I have to say Blue Sky was fantastic with the news, and giving me advice on what is now my journey to preserve chances for a family. I've now educated myself and the reviews of many fertility clinics include price gouging, misleading people, hidden costs, poor communication, and unnecessary expensive testing. I don't feel like Blue Sky has been anything like that. They have so far been very transparent with costs, tests, and possibilities. Communication has been prompt, appointments quick and as long as they need to be. I felt respect and no rushing, honesty and clarity. I can't state enough how much faith I have that Blue Sky is the right place.
Kristen Self: I would like to start by saying that I have been to another fertility specialist in the KC Metropolitan area and did not have any confidence in them, so I started shopping for a new Doctor. I have never, I repeat ever, had a male doctor in my lifetime. I was even delivered by a woman. It's always been a preference of mine. However, after my experience at this other place and after reading about Dr. Riggs and his success rates I thought I would give it a try. Here is what I have experienced:Misha, the woman who runs the show from the front desk will take your calls so fast and get your life figured out for you if you need her to. She is efficient, calm, kind, and has a really spectacular wit about her that i find refreshing. And that is just over the phone. When you go in to the clinic you're feeling so many things ranging from nervous to excited and she welcomes you so warmly you will feel at ease. (I just hope I spelled her name right.)Ashley takes care of billing. I'm telling you right now, this girl will be your soldier. She will battle your insurance company and make sure things get processed correctly. And in that awful circumstance that your insurance company starts acting shifty she will go at them again and again until they get it right for you. She has an amazing energy and a friendly disposition. To all of you who are not fortunate enough to have insurance that will cover at least some of this burden for you, talk with her. She will be honest with billing and help you decide what's right for you.Jennifer is honestly one of the sweetest medical professionals I have ever been honored to have ultrasound me and inseminate me (for real though she's so great). She finds cute little ways to make things less awkward if you need her to and she tells great anecdotes and will make sure you're comfortable and know everything that's about to go down. She makes sure you're not in pain and is willing to listen and talk with you if you need to ask questions.Dr Riggs, the first man I have ever accepted as my doctor. What a kind and warm professional. He sat down and consulted with my husband and I not once, but twice. There's this stereotype of the busy doctor who is too good to bother with their patients. He is not that guy. He will take as long as you need to make sure you are informed and feel in control. I've rarely liked a doctor as I like Dr. Riggs. He makes everything so easy and normal and takes the awkward right out of it. His jokes are actually pretty funny too. There are so many more staff that I've met at Blue Sky Fertility that I don't have the names for but they are all amazing, kind, professional yet human. I want to thank them all from the bottom of my heart for helping me through what has been such a hard process in my life. For the record, this is coming from a woman who is not pregnant yet, so please take this rave review even more seriously. I'm not a deliriously happy success case, but I will be. I just know it.Buy these people cookies by the way, they deserve so much more.
Shelby Mall: This is hands down the BEST Dr's office I have ever been to! The Nurses are incredible and Dr. Riggs is wonderful! I don't feel like just another patient when I walk in. I feel like they genuinely care about things. I seriously can not say enough wonderful things about Dr. Riggs and his staff!

Fertilitycare Center-Ks City: what do users think?
Bethany Wagler Page: Dr. Pritchett was a tremendous help to me when I was struggling with difficult pregnancies. She is knowledgeable, caring, and incredibly helpful. Without her assistance, I'm doubtful that my daughter would have survived until birth. (I lost the baby before her.) With Dr. Pritchett's help and recommendations for progesterone supplementation, I was able to carry my daughter to term.

Gregory Starks: what do users think?
Kyle Squires: This DR made it where we had 3 kids!! Thank you science and Dr. Starks!
Jenni Valentino: After reading some of these reviews, I feel the need to comment publicly on my absolutely excellent experience with Dr. Starks and his staff. Will he hold your hand and sugarcoat your situation and bring platitudes into your treatment? Absolutely not. But if you’ve worked with multiple practices previously to no success (I’m talking multiple rounds of IVF retrievals and transfers, not just some Clomid), you get tired of the BS and want a straight shooter.Dr. Starks will not recommend prescriptions or perform procedures if he doesn’t think they have a chance to be successful. He will “make you” wait a few months if he doesn’t think a quick fix will be successful. He doesn’t want you wasting your time or your money. It isn’t necessarily a lovey-dovey bedside manner, perhaps, but it is effective when you have a goal to achieve. And I don’t mean to imply any of this process is cold or unkind or unfeeling or excessively profit-driven. Far from it. I found the entire staff to be warm, to hold space for my many questions and anxieties, and to care about me as a person.Dr. Starks helped me have my first child. He helped MANY of my friends have healthy children after I recommended him above anyone else in the area. And the kicker - when I got unexpectedly pregnant a second time while I wasn’t under his care, and was terrified following my previous experiences - his office (Brandi in particular) swooped me back under their wings and provided blood tests, early scans and an incredible amount of reassurance. There was zero need for them to accommodate me like that, and they did. This is an amazing practice. If you want thoughts and prayers and hair pats, maybe look elsewhere. If you want results … there’s nobody better. I’m forever grateful to him, his entire staff, and Brandi in particular, who acted as a de facto therapist to me for a significant amount of time.
Michelle Pulliam: Horrible doctor!!! He made super rude comments to me and my husband before and after our IVF cycle. The only time he was nice to us was during because he was getting paid! They didn’t even want to try a 2nd cycle with us because “it’s a lot of money” they said. Well I’m sorry but is he paying for it??? He’s not compassionate at all and we need a doctor that will be for what we are going through. I’m glad he’s retiring because I would NOT recommend him to anyone! Horrible, horrible doctor!
PumpkinEater69: Mr. Stark initially seemed so uninterested in talking to my husband, even though he told me to bring him. He had the let's hurry this up approach which automatically didn't help. I'd spoke with Katie Lorand previously which helped me get my PCOS diagnosis, please go see Katie I trust her. Mr. Stark left me and my husband under the impression that a specific test for my husband was optional.... it wasn't. Then later to be told that if my husband doesn't do the test they simply just won't help us, more specifically "we didn't think we'd have to spell that out for you." that's a nice slap to our faces. Brandi and Karen both seem so uninterested and unsympathetic to our needs. Brandi or Karen clearly weren't going to call first because when I called an spoke to Brandi 3 weeks after my visit she reads my results to me instantly. Mr. Stark gave me a diagnosis but no real help with the aftermath. Mr. Stark told me he'd give me clomid, ordered blood tests to do so, only later to be turned around and told only after I retake metformin...which doesn't work for me. Please if you want real understanding help don't go to him, you'll need to be physhic to get help
Cherie Crawford: After going through heartbreak multiple times, and other doctors not being able to figure out why we couldn't stay pregnant, we were referred to Dr. Starks. He figured out what was causing my problems, helped us get pregnant, and have a successful pregnancy!
Lindsay Parker: Dr. Starks is amazing. Everyone I know that has gone to him for reproductive help have become pregnant, include the twins he helped us concieve. He is very honest about if he thinks his services will work for each individual based on their situation. You deserve honesty when going through infertility.
Bridie Does Beauty: Dr. Starks was still willing to see me even though I forgot to fill out the paper work ahead of time. Even though I made him run behind all day most likely he spent 30 minutes with me. He is very blunt which some women might take as rude but he has a plan for me. Brandi his NP is phenomenal!! She responded to my super long detailed email within an hour towards the end of the day and copy and pasted my whole email and answered every question, she immediately put in the order for my trigger shot and I was able to get it ordered right away. Another thing is their pricing, they are by far the most reasonably priced fertility clinic for self pay patients. Also you’ll be hard pressed to find a fertility doc who isn’t a little blunt in their delivery. I can tell he has a soft side but when he’s trying to set realistic expectations he is straight to the point.
Anna Skubey: He is different from so many doctors you meet by not being very explanatory about why you need this or that procedure. He knows what he does and expects you to trust him. I was baffled at first and wanted to leave him for another option but now I'm happy I did not. Because he was right about everything and he delivered the result.UPD just came back into this old review by accident and want to mention that thanks to Dr. Starks we have greeted our first beautiful daughter into this world and then had another one unaided. Although initially I felt weird, he was very warm to me before and after the surgery and also when I had a breakdown and cried right there in his office, gave me a hug and promised it will be all good. Back then, 3 years ago, like some of the reviewers here, I had had a feeling that some people on his team were being rude to me in some moments. But I know now that I was super sensitive back then and needed and craved very gentle and even motherly treatment which no one there was obliged to provide. They were trying to be very efficient and maybe that felt like rushing or rudeness. I don’t know. Could be that they were having a bad day, they are humans too after all.The bottom line is that this team gets things done and I’m grateful to them
Sierra Maul: After struggling for 5 years with infertility my gynecologist sent me to Dr Starks for further testing and help, skeptical because of the reviews I had read & not ever being to another RE, I was nervous. This doctor greeted me like we were life long friends and was very specific during my consultation. He was clear on what we were doing & why we needed to do it. I asked all the questions I wanted to ask and did not feel rushed out the door. I felt like I knew more in 30 minutes than I had known in 5 years total! The lady that drew my blood was quick and she was good at what she did. Karen was really friendly and I felt like I had known her a lifetime also. They emailed me my results on the day they said they would & Brandi emailed me back and forth addressing all my concerns & questions. They have emailed back quickly anytime I’ve emailed them and have been extremely nice with my many questions. When I say these girls are great, they are great! I didn’t wait a long time to be seen, it was clean, and everyone was smiling. If you’re seeing anyone else, you need to see this doctor & his team immediately! I don’t do reviews often and I’m not giving a good rating because I got pregnant, because I haven’t yet. But this doctor really is outstanding and I instantly felt like I was at the right place.
Azucena Mitchell: Dr.Stark was insensitive and rude. I waited months to see him with high hopes. And left feeling like i wasted my time. I felt extremely rushed when meeting with him. He diagnosed me and told me my only option was in vitro without ever doing any testing. I left feeling more hopeless and confused than i ever felt. My appointment was at 1:30. I arrived in the lobby at 1:40 after being a little confused about where to go. Anywho all in all i was walking to my car by 2:10. That was after being checked in, weighed, vitals and health history taken by the nurse, met with him, met with his nurse practitioner, and had labs drawn all in that short time. For such a major subject his approach from beginning to end was horrible. I was barely able to get a word in without him cutting me off. Horrible experience.
Morgan Thomas: After 2 years of trying, my husband and I were recommended to Dr Starks. We absolutely loved working through this with him and Brandi. We were always given the information we needed to know without making us feel like we were less of a couple.
BodyMaxx Fitness: Dr. Starks is amazing! He is very knowledgeable and has a way of making you feel calm! Brandi is also amazing! She is ALWAYS fast to answer any questions through email or phone. Karen and the rest of the staff are great to deal with as well. I definitely recommend this office!
Leah Hirsch: Dr. Starks gave us our miracle baby and I would recommend him a million times. He's a doctor's doctor and provided many friends with their miracles as well. He will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you will never be enough.
mark schnabel: My wife and I went to Gregory Starks over 15 years ago. My wife had a tubal ligation done many years earlier after her 3rd child with a previous marriage. We wanted to have a child between us to help bridge my child from a previous marriage, with her 3 kids. Dr. Starks recommended IVF. The procedure is expensive and tough on the female. Daily intramuscular injection are required with some having strict time schedules. The medication has its adverse effects too. Dr. Starks fully informed us of all the possible pitfalls and adverse effects of the medication. He was patient with all of our numerous questions throughout the entire procedure(s) answering them fully as well as could be expected. His staff was also very helpful by giving us suggestions on how to get the fertility meds cheap as our insurance would not fully cover IVF treatments. They would followup with calls after all surgical procedures and were ready and willing to resolve any questions or concerns with any logistical issues. 9 months later we received into this world with the knowledge, skill, and patience of Dr. Starks through God's grace a beautiful healthy baby girl.Today my daughter is a straight A student, a two time World champion in Tae Kwon Do, a successful teenage entrepeneur, and concertmaster violinist in her schools orchestra. I would highly recommend Dr. Gregory Starks for all your fertility needs. He and his staff work miracles and make successful human beings from test tubes and petrie dishes. Thank you sir and still is to this day, the best decision my wife and I have ever made!
Dustin and Alisha Rapp: We went to Dr. Stark after being disappointed from results using another hospital. Dr. Stark was very professional and strait forward with us on our first appointment. He explained everything that would occur and operations we would undergo. His staff including Brandy went above and beyond to assist us through the entire process. I would highly recommend using Dr. Stark and his team. We will be back for our second child. Thank you so much.Dustin
Julie Lutz: Dr Starks was very rude, and during our initial appointment made fun of my husband. They said I had PCOS, even though I've never had any symptoms and refused to do any follow up tests to confirm, and they wouldn't explain to me why they thought I had PCOS. They just put me straight on Metformin. Brandi always acted annoyed when I asked about my results or when I asked follow up questions. They're not responsive, and it takes them a long time to return calls. They haven't done any tests to see what's going on, just jumped right into IUI, which failed. I've heard from other patients if his that they think he is cruel and mean. I'm switching because I can no longer even trust the whole team and I feel far more hopeless now than when I started.
Anne Kirarey: He talks very gently to patients. Was happy to have talked to him
Summer Sonich: I have PCOS and did not ovulate--- my story in a nutshell---WOW!!! DR STARKS IS AMAZING. I went in November 2016 for consultation and some blood work. Results came back a few days later and he said with those results there was a strong possibility i had endo. Surgery was scheduled a month later... i did have little endo but more so i had a lot of scar tissue. I'm gonna assume from my c-section with my first child. Surgery went great. they put me on birth control so i could fully heal. We started clomid with the HCG trigger shot in February and it failed. We tried Letrizole in March with the HCG trigger shot just because and it failed. In the beginning of April, my husband and i decided we would wait and try the injectibles, we were kind of bummed that February and March Failed. Brandi scheduled our apt for the injection class an she asked us if we wanted to go ahead and try one more month of the clomid while we waited. i said sure. well that was the month!! Were 8 weeks pregnant. NOTE: i did not get the trigger shot the month i conceived. I do believe the trigger shot is why Feb and Mar failed. i wasnt ready to ovulate and the shot forced it to happen. If i would have gotten trigger it would have forced me to ovulate on day 14 or 15 but i didn't get it and i ovulated on day 18.... so unbelievably exciteddddddd.. Karen and Brandi are awesome!
Mz Vee: Bonnie Cain my experience was the same as yours. He diagnosed me with testing me also I would not recommend anyone to him. And sent me a bill for 200.00 which will never get paid! Based upon these reviews it look like he only help the ones he like.........
Bonnie: After having to wait a very long time for my first appointment I left feeling like I had wasted my time. Dr starks very clearly did not have a strong understanding of gestational diabetes. He also spoke in definitives without having done a single test. He told me I would be unable to bear children but at the same time I should allow him to try ivf. He did order test but have gave me these diagnoses without having the test done. The staff has already called me to tell me I must go to a third party to have my blood redrawn because a sample was not stored correctly. They were less inclined to help me find a location or ensure I was not charged for the redraw as they were eager for me to agree it was not their fault. I am left wondering if I am unable to bear children then why ivf? Or would ivf help then I am in fact able to bear children. I am currently looking at finding another fertility specialist to help me get to the bottom of my fertility issues. One that will not jump to conclusions without having the facts. One that does not make me repeat test. And one with any kind of bed side manor.
Marianne Fleer: Dr.Starks was wonderful to me. When everyone told me there was no hope with my infertility he was able to look at my history and tell me I had pcos and he would help me...now I have a beautiful little girl that he helped me concieve.... thank you Dr. STARKS!

High Risk Pregnancy Center of Kansas City: what do users think?
Pamela M.: At about 35 weeks pregnant with twins they refused to see me because it was a new year and i had to pay my deductible. Normally making a payment wouldn't have been a problem, but we had car trouble and were strapped for cash for the time. 2 weeks later my OB ordered the same sonogram they would have done with the high risk dr, and turns out I had to be induced right away. One of my babies had stopped growing and they said I shouldn't even wait the 6 more days for my scheduled induction because I could lose her!!! My last few appointments with high risk were stressful already. The tech I kept getting seemed to always have zero patience having to check on both my babies and sending me to the hospital to finish things up after telling me I was a liability. And now I feel this place is fully responsible for the possible death of my baby because they refused to see me, to check on the health of the babies in the first place!!! Thank God both our babies are home safe with us. This place does NOT put mom and baby(s) first. It's all about that money. Its sickening. No one ever called to ask about me and the babies. No concern whatsoever. No way to see them without money first. People come first, at least they should. Checking on the health of the baby should always be number one concern. Money owed can always be collected later.
Amanda McQuerrey: Office was clean, everyone was very professional and kind. Great experience here. Would definitely recommend.
Cassandra Rogers: Scheduling an appointment was a headache. After my appointment, I was very disappointed with the billing after trying to get on a payment plan. For one appointment it was almost $600 and after insurance, it was still over 300. I called to make arrangements to pay my balance and was told if I didn’t pay a certain amount. They were just sending me on to collections instead of trying to work with me. They care more about money. Which is so sad. Patient care is what should matter. Their rates are expensive. The woman I spoke to was unkind and unprofessional. Dr. Lu is intelligent and the sonographer was kind but from someone that works in healthcare. I am disappointed and ashamed. I would not recommend this facility.
Anand Patel: There are no words to describe the appreciation I have for Dr Lu, he caught something in my sons heart that the cardiologists at Children’s Mercy were surprised that he even noticed.Instead of giving birth at North KC hospital and having him rushed to Children’s Mercy Hospital for emergency surgery. We had all of my wife’s appointments were at childrens mercy after that, we planned my sons birth, his surgery, it took place on schedule. There are no words, no amount of money, there is nothing I can do or say that will be enough to express how grateful I am.By the way this was almost three years ago and I feel the same way, in-fact I am more grateful today than ever.
Jessica Munoz: It is a high risk pregnancy clinic. They did not let me in because I only was able to pay $200 out of $380 from my outstanding balance. So humiliating, I waste my gas to come here.
jasmere caldwell: Soon as I walked in the lady says “are you Alecia “ didn’t ask me anything else I just felt disrespected because of my skin this is the first time I’ve stepped foot in this office , the lady at the front was definitely trying to be funny and I didn’t find it funny not one bit ! When my name is JASMERE .. definitely feel as tho I got profiled while in a professional place also I’ve been here since 8:55 it’s 9:36 literally have no been seen meanwhile I’m still sitting in this lobby .. the front staff ARE UNPROFESSIONAL 100% and it’s definitely because I am BLACK !!!
Cody Cox: My wife went in on April 25, she was treated like a less than a human by one of the extremely rude radiology techs. The tech treated my wife like garbage and accosted her about every bit of information my wife was trying to pass along. When my wife confronted her, she (the tech) simply said “I’m moving you to the other room to see the doctor”. I would call this rude, unprofessional individual out by name, but she didn’t even have the courtesy to give my wife her name. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless the practice starts screening personnel for some customer service. I and my family unfortunately have to go where my doctors on base send my referrals. Really disappointed, this establishment should be ashamed of the way this lady, and I’m using the term loosely because this was no lady treated her patient. If you want to be rude find a new profession, or better yet telework somewhere that you have no human contact.
John and Leslie Marts: We were so pleased with our experience at our first appointment. They were all so kind and made you feel so comfortable being there. Dr. Lu and his staff were very knowledgeable and everyone went beyond what we imagined. The process from check in to check out was so smooth and the feedback, both in the appointment and after, was provided with ease.
Angela Girard: Front staff is exceptionally unprofessional. Arrived for my appointment 3 minutes late and was treated like a red headed step child. Very disappointed. I spoke with the staff on my way and made sure they were aware I was going to be a few minutes late. Once I arrived there were 5-6 members all standing behind the front desk carrying on a conversation. I checked in and the staff immediately dispersed and I was told I couldn't be seen. I was the only patient in the entire lobby and it was first thing in the morning. As a high risk patient with a due date in 25 days I was very unsatisfied with how this ended. I have went to my appointments and waited in the lobby for over 45 minutes before. Should I have let them know me waiting for so long was unprofessional? I believe front staff needs to attend Customer Service Seminars and be certified before speaking down to pregnant women. Especially when they are the first representation you see when walking into the office.Techs and Dr. Lou have always been exceptional.
Mia Madam: Front staff is horrible. Always rude. I’ve never walked in once and seen them doing anything but talking in a group. Hate coming to these appointments just because of checking in. Pregnancy should be exciting, especially when knowing you’ll be seeing your little one soon and you’re high risk. Ladies in back who do all the work and the Dr. Are always wonderful. If it weren’t for getting photos And videos I wouldn’t go just because of the front staff.
Calen Dyer: Dr. Lu was very kind and was very informative about what I should expect and if I need to be worried about anything and gave me advice for anything I should do differently or add. And the ultrasound tech, she was so kind and funny during the ultrasound. She was also so very patient to deal with my ornery baby moving so much.
Becky Kruse: My husband’s insurance had a lap of coverage due to a change in jobs therefore I made my appointment under Self Pay to keep the suggested timeline of all baby check ups. This is especially important to me being as my first child has a terminal illness of the kidneys. I received a cost quote over the phone upon confirmation of my first scheduled appointment of $330. After becoming ill with covid and having to reschedule I was then quoted another price. Not at too much of a difference but was assured price accuracy. When I arrived for my appointment today I was informed the cost was $453. I refused to continue with my appointment though the lady in the office who greeted me was polite In working on this matter but sadly to no avail. Though she apologized on behalf of the office for the errors I do not recommend the High Risk Pregnancy Center due to the unprofessional treatment for expectant mothers. My time is valuable as well as my support persons time and it was wasted today. Three different price quotes and no solution offered. Makes me wonder how they bill insurance companies if they can’t manage a simple self pay.
Crystal Hendershot: Doctor Lou was amazing really answered our questions before we could even ask them. Two negatives though the nurse that took us back was kinda rude and snotty, and also the scent things they have going everywhere made me extremely nauseous with how strong of an over powering o smell they have. And they had at least two of them going at once it was crazy to me.
Jacque Hill: The people were so nice and everything was done in a timely manor. Great place
Jane Frisch: I love love love the staff at High Risk Pregnancy Center of KC! Dr. Lu has a solid team and I’m very thankful for their care. This is my 3rd pregnancy, and the standard hasn’t changed one bit since 2018, when I first was referred. Megan is a superb radiologist! Always 10/10 with Dr. Lu and crew. ☺️

Chinese Medicine Clinic Inc: what do users think?
Joshua Lackey: Very pushy and rude while Im not feeling well I really wanted well 😔 I have always loved accupuncture
Elisha Pantano: Dr. Mary is wonderful! I have been dealing with quite a bit of fatigue and pain for years and she has helped me tremendously. I highly recommend her!!
Brian _: Infertility is stressful and it's moving fast, and a lot is coming at you. At one point I left a negative review. It was more a reflection of where I was at at the time, and wanted to apologize. I hope the clinic continues to help people. You probably wont know whats happening during your acupuncture, but just go with it.
Latonya King: Dr. Zhang knows her stuff I have been coming here for years and she has helped me feel so much better. I trust her she has been so right about my symptoms. She’s honest and sincere and I wouldn’t trade her for anything in this world. I will continue to come to her and listen to her advice I know she only wants the best for me. She’s a jewel.
stephanie c: After seeing all kinds of doctors for over 8 years, she has helped me heal from things modern medicine could not. Amazing is the one word I use to to explain the work that this office can provide. Hope is another.
K McCubbin: I'm thankful I was referred by a friend to this clinic. I had never had accupuncture prior to seeing Dr.I am sleeping better. She has improved the issues I have with my digestive system and educated me on how my body reacts to the foods I thought were healthy. I look forward to each visit and the overall feeling I leave her office with after my treatment. I trust and believe in her.
destiny fate: Dr. Mary and her partner in crime, Mary, are the best team I have dealt with for a long time! Dr. Mary takes our needs personally, and wants to bring us the best of health possible. Mary, her office manager, is the most organized, professional, yet personable person I have the good fortune in knowing. Thank you both for all you do for me!!
Janet Morales: I have known people who have gone to Mary Zhang for almost 20 years with great success. She treats all ailments including infertility and back pain. Very knowledgeable and always on time!
Sarah Johnson: Dr. Mary and her staff are absolutely the best! I have ulcerative colitis and Dr. Mary through her accupuncture treatments have put me in remission. If I get sick from food or start to have issues and flare up, her knowledge and treatments get me right back to remission and healing. She has taught me so much and I am so thankful to know her! I have since then brought both of my children, my 12 year old son with allergies and my 10 year old daughter with a skin rash and she has helped them both when nothing else did! After just a few treatments we have seen notable improvements! Thank you Dr. Mary! I would highly recommend her for any of your health care needs.
Robert Linsin: I was treated for sciatica and after the required sessions i was fully healed.
Rachel Sexton: When my 3rd child was breech at 37 weeks, I went to Mary for the first time. She did two treatments of acupuncture/moxibustion. I was pleasantly surprised when I checked into the hospital a few days later for an external version (procedure to try to manually move the baby) and they identified that the baby was in the head down position before they even started. She stayed that way for the next 3 weeks until I delivered her. When I was overdue with my 4th baby and my OB/GYN insisted on scheduling me for a 41-week induction, I went back to Mary. She asked me to come in two days in a row for acupuncture/moxibustion. I asked to schedule additional appointments since I had almost a week to prepare. She said, "No! Don't need it! Baby come before then." Sure enough, hours after the first treatment, the baby came bursting into the world after 2 of the easiest hours of labor and 9 minutes at the hospital. This was just a day after my doctor had told me I was "fingertip dilated" and that my cervix was not thinning. When I went back to Mary 6 months later to tell her I was thinking about baby #5 and to ask her to help me get prepared, she urged me not to get pregnant and said my body wasn't ready. She told me to begin taking Royal Jelly supplements. She could have prescribed a series of treatments and made a good sum of money from them, but she was more interested in my well being. I did end up waiting more than another year to conceive #5 and am looking forward to Mary's help when we prepare to bring this little guy into the world. I completely believe in her technique, her integrity and her knowledge of what is happening in her patients' bodies.
Lauren Shepard: I started seeing Dr. Mary to assist in fertility after trying to conceive for almost 2 years. After only 7 weeks of acupuncture treatments, I got a positive pregnancy test! Also, even with a full time work schedule it is very easy to find appointment times that work for me. I truly believe in Dr. Mary and have nothing but great things to say about the Chinese Medicine Clinic!
Tana Parry: This is my #1 place for TCM and Acupuncture. Definitely takes work on the patient side but Mary and Mary make a great team and make me feel comfortable each and every time. Love it!
Andrea Bartley: Dr. Mary is fantastic. Fertility treatments are difficult no matter which route you take. Dr. Mary's approach is caring, direct, and very professional. She is the most knowledgeable acupuncturist I have ever been to. Thank you all at the Chinese Medicine Clinic for being compassionate, understanding, and helpful. Thank you for giving me hope during such a trying time.
marcy kot: Dr. Mary has a unique and extremely successful approach to health. I am so thankful that I found her and have recommended her to many friends and family members! Mary who works at the front desk is kind, incredibly helpful about trying to work with your schedule and returns calls quickly. I will keep coming back for sure!
Jonnae Hill: I have had a wonderful experience with the Chinese Medicine Clinic over the last few years as a patient. Both Dr. Mary and Mary in the office have provided a very high level of personalized service that I have appreciated. Dr. Mary very much has the best interest of her patients in mind and works hard to help them reach their health/fertility goals. I would highly recommend checking out the Chinese Medicine Clinic.
Kelly Brown: I really enjoy my visits with Dr. Mary. She's knowledgeable, caring and always provides me with hope and encouragement. Undergoing fertility treatment is a long and exhausting process so she's been a blessing during this process. My treatment is on going but already in a short time I'm sleeping better and feel I'm able to better manage stress. I highly recommend Dr. Mary.
Courtney Fuchs: Dr. Mary is so knowledgeable and gets awesome results. I have gone to her off and on for over 20 years. She's very passionate about getting people healthy and has so much wisdom to actually get it done. She has helped me tremendously.
Marva Love: Wow, Dr Mary, A woman who is blessed with a gift of assisting you with Eastern medicine. That consist of Acupuncture, Herbal medicine, moxibustion, Electrical stimulation, Cupping, and ear seeding. By using various chinese medicine methods, she is able to assist you with treated various conditions such as pain manage, neurological, Respiratory, Cardiovascular, Psychological/Emotional, Musculoskeletial disorders, and she specialize in Infertility. By assiting woman to have babies, not just one it could twins or triplet etc. Dr. Mary had a great passion for her work.
Ali Roll: I paid $70 for literally a 5 min "consultation" on acupuncture for infertility that consisted of her yelling at me about my liver and then trying to awkwardly hug me at the end. The lady behind the counter was extremely mean to a gentleman that had left right before me as well. All this and the "program" would have cost me a few grand. There were zero redeeming qualities about this place.
Kimberly Coakley: If I could give this place zero stars I would, but I can't. I went there this morning trying to find a new acupuncturist after moving here to Kansas City. I was having mixed feelings as I was filling out the new patient paper work. When I was talking to Dr. Mary Zhang in the room I felt like she was not listening. Then she started arguing with me. I know she is the professional but she is not the first acupuncturist I have been too and so I know what I am talking about when it comes to MY body. She couldn't deal with me having a difference of opinion so she started repeatedly yelling at me trying to get her point across when I tried to tell her she wasn't listening to me and she was getting me so upset and she didn't relent. At one point she got frustrated and said she was going to take a few minutes. When she came back I told her I was just going to leave and she told me I probably should. Well after that consultation I will not be going back I will keep looking for someone else.I have never had such rudeness and lack of professionalism from a doctor.
