Country Club Plaza: what do users think?
Ken Heaton: Love The Plaza
Freddie Weisshaar: Awesome people and great place to visit and have fun things to do 🖤🖤🖤
Linda Hammond: It's nice not very many clothing stores
Robert Dingman: Getting across the street is a chor sometimes, but the shops are nice.
James Symmonds: Chain stores in an open air mall setting. Seems to be on a slow decline. Absolute shame that they knocked down a classic part of Plaza architecture for someone who has decided to pull out. That's going to be a hard recovery and I suspect that the soul of the plaza is going to continue to get sucked out of the place by developers. Update: sure enough. Plaza lighting really sucked this year.
Les Bro: It is always nice to get to the Plaza. It's a great date night place. I love it in the summertime in the evenings. The fountains are beautiful and romantic. There are lots of restaurants and stores to stroll through during the day. If you are visiting Kansas City, the Plaza is a great place to go. You will see all types of people, especially in the summertime. It is a great place to people watch.Unattended teens have a 9:00 pm, police enforced curfew.
Levi Crane: More cops driving around than stores to shop from
Chris Godfrey: It's a Kansas City staple if you have out of town guests, but less of a destination for locals.
Nannette Young: Chuy's was great enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.
Kassi Moore: I only give it four stars because I didn't go anywhere other than three dog bakery and a cheese shop. The bakery is amazing!!
Lilith Bleed: A walk among historic buildings and sculptures. Nice stores and restaurants.
Angeles Fernandez Muciño: One of my fav shopping spots
Ndue Sokoli: Top-notch service
John Ross: It's been in my Life for 65 yo, always been a KC fav.
Jacob Rose: Yeah. Touristy, but nice. Enjoyable when underpopulated. Art fair is cool.
Marion Williams: I like going to the plaza. Cheesecake Factory. Barnes and Noble. So many places to explore.
Carter Taylor: It’s a known issue that the restroom accommodations are a huge issue and that the lack of publicly accessible facilities is a major failure of planning, a barrier to those who have disabilities and discriminatory against women. It does not matter if it’s you or your small child, they will not let you use the restrooms in many stores and even restaurants. They’ll send you down the street and you have to hope that the one place that lets others use the bathroom will be open, have no line, and not be out of order like they often are when handling that volume of people. These policies may have been put in place to prevent the unhoused from being in the area, but they majorly impact other groups as well.
katie boyce: Always beautiful.
Chau Nguyen: Nice place
Gary Snyder: Great shopping, variety, and atmosphere

Crown Center: what do users think?
Balaji Sivasubramanian: Amazing food.. Amazing fountains and places to walk around.
Clarissa Feldman: We didn't stay here, but will definitely plan to in the future. Lots of shopping and dinning places. Easy walking as have skywalks over busy streets. Can easily access downtown events.
Mariella Seton: Bring your patience with you. As a first time visitor, traffic mall signs would've been helpful. The parking lot was difficult to find. Roads that my GPS was telling me to take were closed. Drove around several times. This mall is not your typical mall. Get a map and parking validated from customer service.
Austin craft: It was crowded because of the festival going on this weekend but overall everything was great. Took the family to sea life and afterwards had lunch at Curry in a Hurry. Which was the highlight of my trip.
bilohf tv: A luxury shopping center
jpg archive: It's a neat, clean, modest-sized, very kid-friendly mall in an excellent location. My main complaint is: who thinks it's a great idea to close up at 6pm??? C'mon, people.
Max Steel: Been going there since I was a little kid love it!!!!
Martez Crain: Many places to stop and grab a bite to eat, or shop around. They had a fairytale exhibit for the kids and it was free. The kids had a blast.
Kassi Moore: I was expecting there to be more shops. I went there to get a souvenirs and walking the whole mall I was able to find only one thing. Not worth it in my opinion
Elisabeth Putman: Was there for the Hospital Hill Run
Frecky Lewis: I had to update my review after visiting Crown Center again last weekend with my family. I'm not sure if the owners of the mall know this, but in order to sell things your stores have to be OPEN. The stores in this mall all close at 6:00 pm on Saturday. We had just finished our dinner at Fritz's in the mall, and at 5:45 we walked over to their special "Fairytale" exhibit that was advertised as being open until 6:00. We found the door locked and couldn't get in. When another family came out through the door we poked our heads in and were told by the desk attendant "It's closed." I asked if the signs were wrong and pointed out that they said the exhibit was open until 6, and she said "No, the signs are right, but we stop letting people in before that." She had no hint of friendliness or sympathy for our two obviously very disappointed children. To the mall management: If you close your exhibit at 5:40, don't advertise that it is open until 6 -- or at least, advertise that fact clearly. Knowing the stores would be closing in 15 minutes, we wandered up to the toy store on the top floor and were told even before entering the store "Just so you know, we close soon." I assured them that we wouldn't take up any of their time by spending money there. We made a few quick passes down the aisle at 5:50 and it was clear that the employees had no interest in anything but shooing everyone out. Perhaps they could have said "We close shortly, but is there anything we can help you find quickly?" Nope. No interest in making sales. Amazingly, there were countless other families wandering around the mall and surrounding area at 6:15 looking for something to do, and I guarantee many of them would have spent money in these stores. People say retail is dying; after visiting Crown Center, I can attest that retail isn't just dying, it is committing suicide.
Norma Patterson: Crown Center is the perfect place to do your shopping. The selection of stores is great, the prices are competitive. Plus, the atmosphere is always welcoming.
Rosie Hudson: My kids loved playing at the fairytale village! It's all free to get in. There are so many shops and restaurants inside. It's like a mini mall. Definitely coming back soon.
DIY_Nation_TH: #diynationth
Salton: Some nice activity stations but they may need a little more assistance with each one from staff so it's more clear how they work.
shannon hudson: this place was so relaxing.. my friend and I really enjoyed ourselves. We got icecream inside and walked across the street and ate it by the fountains... it a very pretty place as well!!! We will be returning for another relaxing afternoon.
Chad Motter: It has some cool shops. Something for everyone.
Rachel Anderson: Gorgeous place located perfect with lots of fun places to visit. Kaleidoscope is free, sea life and Lego land are right there plus lots of food and shopping! Fairy tale land is free and lots of fun!
Lisa Laughlin: Lego Land and Aquarium were alot of fun. Kids enjoyed themselves. It was pretty crowded and the space was smaller then expected but overall fun. The Aquarium was beautiful and more peaceful. They had alot of great tanks.
Cody Fry: Love to just walk around and see what I find here you never now
Jason Stidham: Great shopping center

Pryde's Old Westport: what do users think?
Katie Steckly: Pryde's has the best selection of kitchen items around. Anything you're looking for, you will absolutely find here.
Bill Shiley: Wow! Hard to believe this collection of kitchen supplies and gadgets! Don't miss if you are in the area.
Diego Mendez: It’s like if you’re grandma and her gal’s had their own kitchen store. And of course the pie will bring tears to your eyes of how gosh darn delicious they are.🥧
Daneth Weese: Perfect for the home cook to a professional chef. The employees are always friendly and willing to help.
D Moyers: I recently visited this place and was disappointed with the level of service provided by the staff. In the past, I had always found the staff to be helpful and welcoming, but this time around, they seemed disinterested and unfriendly. It's a shame to see that the quality of service has declined over time. I hope the management takes notice of this and works to improve the level of customer service. For now, I would not recommend this place, especially if you are looking for helpful staff.
Tori Snowden: Everything you need for the kitchen and then some!
StuckinKS: Love the old world feel of the store! Great customer service and you can find anything you need for the kitchen.
Vivian C: Great place for kitchen stuff, you name it! Big selections to choose from and the staffs there are so friendly. They also sell some coffees, teas, sauces, preserves…their bakery section downstairs opens every Thursday, Friday & Saturday, definitely need to go back and give it a try!
Kerri Lacy: I love this store! They have everything you would need for your kitchen. They are very friendly and offer you coffee or tea while you shop. The pie downstairs in their little bakery is delicious. I’ve had key lime and banana cream and I have to say it was the best key lime pie I’ve ever eaten.
Courtney Kendall: I love Pryde's. The store is filled with amazing gifts and finds for anyone's kitchen. We adore Ashleighs Bakeshop! I really wish this building was handicap accessible. I want to bring my grandma here, but getting up and down the stairs is getting difficult for her. 😞
Pandemic Bones: The vibes are wonderful. I love this store. If you want to walk into a store that feels like you are visiting a quirky pleasant and kind aunt's house then go here. Also if you can't find a tool for a specific baking project here ... it probably doesn't exist. Loved the complementary tea btw. Hope those who work there have a wonderful what ever time of day you are reading this.
Kevin Love: My wife really likes this store.
Andrew: A gem of a store, they sell good quality kitchen supplies. Every time I go in I find the staff so welcoming and helpful.
Joyce Butler: So welcoming! And so many things I now "need"! The cup of tea was delicious so of course, I had to get some! I will definitely return!
Patrick Logan: Awesome place to find cool things.

Gary Elsbernd: If you can't find it here, it doesn't exist. The staff is so helpful and really know their stuff.

A S M Touhidul Hasan: Fresh produce and clean.

And cheese! Oh, the cheese! I am particularly fond of the keto items and the coffee...they are my life and my lifeline. It's sometimes a little dicey getting in and out of the parking lot, but I mostly take the bus and there is a convenient stop just steps out the front.

Fareway Meat Market & McGonigle's KC BBQ: what do users think?
Caleb W: Great selection of meats and seafood. Fair pricing and friendly staff. Has the small town market feel. Lots of barbecue seasonings and rubs as well as wood and charcoal.
JAMES TALMADGE: don't buy their bacon wrapped filets you get more connective tissue than meat and the "steaks" all came in at least 3 pieces I was purchasing steaks not stew meat. will not be shopping there again.
cheryl horan: It's the first time I've been into Fareway meat market since it was McGonigles. I was there to buy cod at the meat counter. A man asked if he could help me. I told him I would like to buy some cod so we both went over to the fish counter. He didn't ask how much I wanted so I just told him what I would like. He very impatiently weighed out the fish and wrapped it. He then proceeded to basically throw it across the counter. I complained to the manager about the treatment I received and his excuse was, "we're busy." I said that's not a good excuse. Not good enough. I'll think twice about coming back into that store!
B K: BBQ baby back ribs were really good.
Connor Bowen: Service is pretty good, staff behind the counter are helpful but the prices are way too high
David Bednar: Market is killer. Love it. You will not be disappointed. Food camper kid though…. Really? This pic was taken 10 seconds after sitting down at the picnic tables. Tasty, but c’mon, man!
Chris Malay: As much as I hate to say this since it's changed from McGonagall's they are nowhere near the same. the meat's not seasoned this is the most bland pulled pork sandwich I've ever eaten in my life.
Zachary Tippit: The conversion to Fareway has improved the store in some ways. It is more open now and there are more prepared items in the butcher case. Many of the gourmet shelf items are no longer available however.
Mikki Cassel: Just love the place. Here at least twice a week.
Brian Abbott: Far and away a great neighborhood meat market and grocery store. The barbecue is to die for. Ample parking ada accessable.
Pablo Stamati: A brisket sandwich for $11 was insufficient. The beef was dry and tasteless. The staff was incompetent and rude. On today’s economy, if you keep providing this kind of service, you’re finished.Mcgonigle’s was better.
Jan Bynum: I enjoy stopping there on ocassions when Im in the area, the meats are tasty, and I also like a few of the salads.
Jim Kaufman: Excellent bang for the buck.Quality 10Variety 10Value 10I purchased one of the per packaged 50# of meat deals.Excellent first experience.
Alex johansen: A definite go to for all bbq spices and ribs! Fresh meat selection is quality and fresh deli meats and salads are delicious too!
Jenny Mann: Great selection of meats! I purchased a lb of Brisket for $20/lb and there was zero fat on it. It resembled the taste and texture of cardboard. Very disappointed. I am use to melt in your mouth, juicy, amazing, bursting with flavor brisket that my Father smokes. I was missing him so much that I thought this would make me less home sick for my Father's grilling. I was absolutely dead wrong.I also purchased a couple bacon wrapped sirloin and they were delicious. Great cuts of meat and I love the toothpick they use to secure the bacon. We tried the steakhouse bacon wrapped pinwheels, they were good. We purchased a couple of the spinach pinwheel and going to try those tonight.
James Campo: Extremely helpful staff! Very good selection, my only wish is that there was a better selection of oxtail (only frozen, high priced available)
Michael Hockey: Pre ordered Christmas Turkey (with order number). On the day of collection. Sorry we sold it. Didn't even say sorry. Staff said those are the breaks.
Randall T: Fantastic turkeys and more. Always the best in meat and seafood.
John LaBarca DDS: When McGonigles changed to Fareway, much of what I loved was not the same at first. It's time to return!! They have done a fantastic job adapting to their customer base and it's as good as ever! The mest counter and seafood have always remained at a very high standard!! Photo is a double smash onion burger on Kaiser bun from Rotella’s Italian bakery!!! All from Fareway market
J L: Easily the best butcher shop in the city. They have amazing selection and even better sales. Sign up for their email list and there’s something great every week.
Louis Petrakos: Always great meats for grilling or smoking!

Michelle Sanders: We have been several times and each time at Good JuJu it never disappoints! It’s a perfect girls trip. This trip I purchased a chandelier and other goodies. And the nicest guy climbed the ladder and got it down just for me to look it over and helped me fold it the best we could for safe travels back to Arkansas. Then he carried down stairs for me as well. ( I wish I could remember his name. )And that’s where I met the vendor of the chandelier, Nancy. And she went above and beyond to help get a missing part to the chandelier to me. She communicated with me via text just to update me and brought me the piece to pick up the next day. And the owner even gave me some helpful diy tips. Each visit we meet the nicest people and can’t wait for our next trip to Good JuJu! Thank you again Nancy. You were the BEST!

Zach Lill: They always have interesting things for sale. It is a good mix of things that are already refurbished and items that need work.
Kris: The have a great selection of antiques and home decor but buyer beware: one of the vendors passed off a reproduction seed advertising sign as original/antique.

patrick keen: Food was good. I got the 2 meat plate but added the smoked pork belly. I think it was a little expensive for the amount of food I got. It was good. Leticia Georgia: The best BBQ everything!!! The baby back ribs and brisket literally fall apart from how tender they are! We bring everyone who visits KC with us to enjoy a taste of KCs best BBQ at Q39Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Lindsay “Sweet Clucker” T: This bbq place in Kansas City was recommended to us by multiple people, it exceeded my expectations! It was just what I wanted. The brisket and the ribs were my favorite! The ribs were the best I have ever had. The beans were a little sweet for my liking but everything else was great. We sat at the bar and the service was really good and attentive. I recommend getting there before 11:30 it got very busy after that. The restaurant is beautiful, different vibe than the Austin bbq spots.
Jonneal Justus: The service was great and the food came out almost as fast as Jimmy John's. Kate Savoie: Food was good. Would have been a 5 star except we could taste a fuel type taste on the chicken. Other than that the food was very good. Very loud.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Brisket Poutine, Ribs Brisket Pulled Pork Apple Slaw, Burnt End Burger …More
Elena McNickle: I have never been a big BBQ fan. This place is hands-down the best barbecue I have ever had and I would have it any day. It doesn’t matter what kind of mood I am in, Q39 always makes my mouth water. It is the only place I have been where the brisket has a perfect smoke line, will literally fall apart with your fingers, and has no fat on it. The burnt ends are to die for. And I highly recommend the best wings on the planet for your appetizer, they are called that for a reason. If you are coming on a Friday or Saturday night, or there is a game of some sorts, call ahead to reserve seating or you will have a long wait. The wait is totally worth it, but still.Unfortunately I am moving out of the area soon and I will say this place is probably what I will miss most about KC, and if I ever come back to visit, I will eat here in a heartbeat.Parking: Parking is very hard to come by on a busy night, usually you have to park across the street or somewhere you are not supposed to.
Shannon V: We were in town and wanted some great BBQ. as a family of 13, They got us a table in a reasonable amount of time. The food was amazing. Wait staff was very polite and attentive. They have vegetarian options. Great place, highly recomend.Vegetarian options: They have salmon and veggie burgers for my vegetarian daughter.Kid-friendliness: They had a high chair and kids menu for my grand kids.
Karie Hays: Best server of our vacay. Loved this polite & friendly guy! Oh the burnt ends we’re pretty good too!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
MrWicked98: OMG the food. This place is 2nd to nobody when it comes to BBQ. Ribs and wings here are may favorite. These folks know their BBQ. The sides are amazing as well. They get busy be sure to make a reservation.Kid-friendliness: Don't have kids myself but I saw plenty of kids there. It gets crowded so I wouldn't recommend infants.Parking: Parking lot gets overpowered by the crowd.
Rosengren Family: We ate here while traveling and had a wonderful experience. We had reservations and we were seated promptly. The food was fabulous and the service was spectacular.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
