Dannie L: A lot of items in the showroom have to be ordered. What's really odd is the most popular finishes have to be ordered - you cannot simply go in and purchase something and take it out the same day. For the people that want to get it done now this is not the place. Unfortunately you will have to order exactly what you want online and then wait for it to come in. The people there are very helpful and very down-to-earth however you cannot buy something the same day and take it with you. Great place for those of you that are planner types and don't mind the wait.

I didn't realize that there would be a timing issue or I wouldn't have chosen this supplier. Be aware!

Stephanie Bonnie: Interesting showroom for Kohler. They use different products to showcase and there are some items on sale but I would say this is more for higher end products and showcase new products and styles. Great place for decorative ideas.
Kaye Smith: Alisha Carter was a delight with whom to work! We ordered a lot from your store after pricing the same items on-line, big box stores, etc. I was surprised that a showroom would be cheaper, but every item was less than I could get elsewhere, and I checked.The only caveat is a 25% restocking fee, which Alisha was clear in explaining. I only ordered when I was sure.I liked the advice on how it would look and function, and the various options. She was able to knowledgeably order all the pieces for the shower assembly/sprayer, as well as the sink faucet and other accessories, all delivered to the house within a few days.I found Alisha responsive, efficient, well-trained and very pleasant. Ask for her.

Sky Rhoney: I’d like to respond to the review from Tyler, owner of Pro Guard Home Improvements. I’m the customer he was referring to in his review and though some items were back ordered, he had all the valves needed to start the project within a week. There WAS a slight delay due to Covid but the actual fixtures weren’t even needed for more than 60 days because they couldn’t be installed until after the tile and countertops were finished.Tyler and his team were given diagrams with pictures and dimensions for every fixtures for each individual bathroom and additional installation instructions came with each piece. Unfortunately they didn’t bother to read them because when it came time to install the fixtures they found out theyinstalled all the shower valves incorrectly so the walls behind all 3 showers had to be cut out to reinstall them. What’s worse is the tub was installed too far from the floor mounted tub filler so they had to cut out part of the new heated tile floor as well as the living room ceiling below to move the tub filler. Tyler or his workers stole or threw out several of our Kohler fixtures, one was a shower wand that we had to reorder and there were 4 towel bars 3 robe hooks and a toilet paper holder which will end up costing us over $500 to replace.I would trust very little that Tyler from Pro Guard Home Improvements has to say. Not only did our 3 month project take 6 months to complete, after we moved in and found all the problems, we called Tyler to come back and fix the multiple issues (no insulation replaced above the bathrooms, heated floors not working, cracked tiles, wires cut to the electrical outlets, bad patch in the living room ceiling, etc.) but he says he’s no longer in business.As for Kohler, we have several more bathrooms that we plan to do partial remodels on and we’re so happy with the quality of the Kohler fixtures, tile, our sales rep Beth and Kohler customer service that we’ll definitely be returning to them for future projects.Here are a few pictures showing Tyler‘s shoddy workmanship and also how beautiful our Kohler showers turned out.
Pro Guard Home Improvement: Our rep has been very hands on but the overall kohler performance has resulted in our high end customers finished project being delayed well over a month now. Everything shipped is individual from sink faucets, shower valves, finishes, handles, and things never show up together. It's been an absolute disaster for us who are on a schedule. Do not rely on their ship dates or product availability for your customers and do not start your projects until you receive them because you never know when that may be. Our project with Kohler has not been pleasant at all.

Helene: If you do not like your current master bath or powder room, this is the place to be inspired to change it. I had a few moments to wander around "dreaming" and the ladies gave me the grand tour without ant pressure to make purchase that day. I loved the styles, concepts and variety. You can look at new builds, remodels and magazines to get ideas, but this store blows them all away. I can't stop thinking about the mirrored vanity doors with hidden shelves and electrical outlets that disappear the clutter. Well done.

Jonathan Falco: Hinges for my shower failed at four years. Thank goodness I found the defective hinges before my glass shower door fell. Well that cost me $135 in labor and my time to have our installer reinstall hinges. I contacted Portals and they made it right. Much appreciated.
Carlos Carias: I never take the time to review places that arent about food but I will start with this one. I went there to look for a handle for our shower door. I thought this place was a store open to the public. I learned its mostly opened for contractors but I guess anyone is welcome. I was received by the owner Mr. Eric and he treated me like if I was buying the whole store! He helped me out finding what I needed and took his time more than enough. Really appreciated his time.

Rick Castillo: I have been very disappointed with the poor service and the lack of urgency in which FDA has approached our warranty issue. They realize they are a big company and really don't care about their customers once the purchase is complete. I would not recommend FDA to anyone.
matthew vela: Picked appliances for our home remodeling. Referred by our contractor. After 2 1/2 mths. Checked on our appliances. They said our order was cancelled and it was just a bid. They said it was our fault we didn't put any money down. Which could have been done, they never asked. Wasted time, we went to Lowe's got the same appliances in a week for $500 less which allowed us to get an extended warranty. Shop around is the moral of the story.

I kept calling and they told me to stop calling because they would call me when they came in. Another 2 months went by and when I finally ran out of patience and called back, they had been sitting in the warehouse and no one called. After that I found out install is booked out another month. Rather than expediting my install since they made me wait due top their poor communication, the lady basically told me to deal with it and wait. Shop elsewhere.

Got a new garage fridge and deep freeze delivered damage free on the day and exact hour I needed.
Kris Kuhn: UPDATE: After this review, I contacted Jon, who you can see below responded to this. He was helpful and they did end up coming out and reinstalling the range so that has been corrected. The countertop is still a little banged up but I will give them another star for at least fixing the range.We had to use Factory Direct when we bought our new house. This included all of the light fixtures, oven/range, microwave, and dishwasher. IF YOU DONT HAVE TO USE FACTORY DIRECT - DONT!!!The first meeting when we made our selections went well, was a lot of fun and they have a good showroom. A couple months go by and we got an email from our sales rep that the range we chose had been discontinued and they couldn't get it. Annoying but they told us well in advance and they helped us find a new range, and worked with us on the price, all good at this point.Couple more months go by and they come and install our appliances. We weren't in a the house when this happened as we didn't own it yet (under construction) but if we had been, or if this had been a home you lived in, you'd know immediately that things were going wrong.FIRST - they installed the wrong dishwasher, a really cheap one that was not close to what we picked. We emailed our sales rep about it and were informed that they couldn't get the one we picked (backorder) so they decided to install this cheaper one and if we really hated it, we could call them back "sometime in the future" and work out something for a new one. No up front notice, no offer to compensate, and no real plan to get us something comparable. We ended up picking a different dishwasher, that cost more, and had them come remove the first one and install the new one. At this point I'm annoyed but whatever we got it fixed.SECOND - this is where things really got bad. The range we had to pick out earlier was installed incorrectly in my opinion. They didn't level it, so one side sits higher than the other, and its not flush with the counter top. Even worse, they scratched the countertop pretty bad in the process. They also didn't install the little trim pieces that cover the gap between the range and the countertop. I asked them to look at it and fix when they came to replace the above dishwasher and guess what, they didn't even touch it! Said it was installed correctly and there wasn't anything they could do. Also my countertop is still scratched up.FINALLY - We ordered our fridge from them as well, but since they couldn't install that until we took possession of the house, we were still pending on this transaction. They took our order for a Samsung model that we really liked, and the price was really competitive. However a week before we closed, we followed up with them to make sure it was in stock and ready to ship when we closed. Turns out, it wasn't, and I'll be damned if we didn't ask before hand I'm certain they'd have shown up on the install date and just put in a "loaner." We ended up canceling and getting the fridge from Best Buy (who worked magic to get it to us on time).TLDR - Avoid this place like the plague, terrible service, and terrible communication. They get 2 stars because I am really pleased with the lightening selections.

Given the fact we weren’t onsite we had lots of questions and particulars we wanted and Brian was quick to respond (at all hours too) and provide constant updates, new carts, more detail - whatever we needed he delivered.Our fridge kept getting back ordered, as bummed as we were we understood due to production issues with the current state of the world. Two points of recognition for Brian: he stayed on top of the communication - didn’t just go silent until the next “arrival” date was near - he provided continuous updates and checked in with us as the order kept getting pushed out. I never felt like I had to reach out to him, he was always proactive. He also was proactive once he knew the fridge wouldn’t arrive for move in date, he secured a new temporary fridge for us to use (we don’t mind eating out but we had a 1 year old that needs her daily snacks and what feels like 3 lunches a day) - anyways, Brian hooked it up with a new fridge for us to use as a hold over without us having to ask, he just did it - much appreciated.Very happy with the service Brian provided, so far happy with the appliances (ended up choosing a different fridge given the continued delays with the other mnf)- Wolf oven, KA dishwasher and microwave and Bosch counter depth fridge.
Nick Quatrocky: I worked with Brie on getting some new appliances on a new build home. Prices were fairly competitive and I was able to price match some items if I found them cheaper elsewhere. There were a few issues with the delivery of one of my items and a few errors made. Brie made everything right with me and got everything worked out.
