cristina osorio: Went here yesterday, 06/11/23, with a reservation. They refused to seat us because one person in our party was next door getting coffee beans. They proceeded to seat 3 walk in groups ahead of us even after our missing member returned.Once seated, we were ignored for 37 minutes. The entire place was packed, with no sound absorbing efforts, so it was groups of people at every table just yelling the entire time. I stopped a different waitress to put our order in because we were about to walk out and find someplace else to eat. She said she couldn't take our order because the kitchen was too busy. There should never be more chairs in the facility than the capacity of the kitchen so that problem should never even happen!It took 32 mins after our order was placed before the food came out. We spent 75 mins in total in there at the table with no food. The food came out over cooked and bland. The potato bowl is literally onions and potatoes. Nothing else. The salmon Benedict came out with completely rock hard eggs and raw cold bread. The salmon was random small flakes and mostly skin. There were issues with every dish and my party left roughly half their food on their plates. The waitress never asked how the food was and just dropped the bill on while walking by.Never go here.

Hannah Uthe: Went here for a meal after family photos on a Saturday evening. I had never been here before and it looked like the perfect spot with many different options to take my family. The best part about out experience here was the appetizers. The cheese curds and catfish bites were good. Our server was nice but did not check on us enough. We had to ask another staff member for more water and this place only has maybe 20 tables. Every entree we received had little to no flavor. The potatoes are not seasoned, the nettle pasta has more chunks of onion than pasta in the dish, and their burger buns are somehow soggy and crumbly at the same time. It definitely was not worth the money. With all the other great restaurants on the westside, I will not be back here.

Bob Anthony: What a fun venue! I'm always looking for restaurants with a good selection for my vegan friend and the Westside local fills that void. Although reservations are recommended we arrived Sunday for brunch without any and were seated in less than 10 minutes. Mat , at the front was very helpful and welcoming. Our waitress, Hannah was great! She was very friendly , knowledgeable and efficient. Even though the place was jumping (and a bit loud) she never acted or made us feel rushed quite the contrary she made us feel quite welcome like regulars. The food was fantastic! My friend ordered the biscuits and gravy, mushroom gravy with no meat. I had the country Benny and it was great! We lucked out with a parking space right by the door otherwise the street parking is very limited. Highly recommend. I am sure to return soon. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

Corinne Roman-white: This was my third time here. The first two times were great. The third time not so much. Service was just okay. I loved the Thai chicken skewers but noticed they weren’t on the menu anymore, so gave the chicken piccata skewers a try. The chicken was so dry, it was extremely salty (but perhaps that’s just the nature of the dish) I was substituted asparagus when the menu stated green beans and wasn’t even notified. I also was given “yellow squash” which was listed nowhere in the dish description. It tasted like a whole roasted lemon (even contained lemon seeds) but the server stated it was yellow squash (in a pretty condescending way) Perhaps the cook accidentally put lemons all over my dish instead of squash. Ate a few bite of my dish and left the rest.
fiddlejock: We’ve been here several times. It’s easily one of our favorites in town. It’s simple, delicious food without pretense or a high price tag. The tomatoes shine in the BLT, the mac and cheese is top notch, and the burger and fries are on the shortlist for best in town. Tonight I had the chicken piccata skewers with fried artichokes and mushroom lemon and caper rice, and it was excellent. So are the cocktails. They have a beautiful outdoor space, as well. Equally fitting for a special night out or just a casual meal. If you haven’t been here yet, do yourself a favor and go.

Recommend making a reservation. The space can get rather loud as business picks up. Opted for parking on the street 1.5 streets away, an easy walk.
