The Fabric Chic: what do users think?
Cindy Vaccaro: It is a beautiful quilt shop. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They had the pattern I was looking for and almost all the notions I was looking for. Not the exact colors entirely, but I am very happy with my choices.
Karen Foster: Very nice people.Cool selectionFound Mammoth Minky
melinda griffith: Such a fun store! Super nice ladies and a great selection of fabric!
Kathie: Bright colors and a nice variety of fabrics. I love shopping here!! Friendly staff too!
Brandie Oehring: Stopped in today to take a look around for some cute fabric to make pet bandanas and I was blown away by how amazing their staff is, as well as their selection. They also have bottles of water available which is fantastic. I drove over 3 hours to check out fabric stores in the area and this one is now one of my favorites. They also have an online store if you don't want to make the long drive like me.
Liz Alford: The cutest store that's a delight to the eyes everywhere you look! Great customer service and kind staff.
Elizabeth Hoskins: Cindy and her staff are fantastic! Always friendly and helpful! The classes/events are also worth checking out!
Kelly Rose: This is a terrific store. There is an amazing creating space that they have classes in or you can rent out for your sewing crew to meet. The color lines are bright and fun and include Tula Pink. Just put the address in your GPS. Google maps can find them even though you feel like you might be lost. It is on the back right of the shopping village. This was a great find for me.
J Cardarelli: Friends from KC said to check it out. Really well stocked. Not your regular shop. Oodles of samples. Bags, quilts. Patterns & hardware. I left there with lots of inspiration.Cute small town of Parkville Mo
Denise Hartke: What an awesome sewing retreat! Can't wait to go back! Nice kitchen, great tables, excellent lighting.
Anita Holt: The Sewing Lounge next door to the Fabric Chic is a great place to gather your friends. I decided to gather all my crafting friends in one space. This place was perfect. There were plenty of tables, adjustable to whatever height you needed, comfortable chairs and very well lighted. There is lots of design wall space for the quilters. Plenty of ironing boards and cutting tables, all you really have to do is bring your machine, projects and other supplies. I had crafting friends scrapbooking, embroidering, quilt making, bag making. We all worked in the same large room. There’s a kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, hot/cold water dispenser but really, who wants to cook when they’re away. There was also an ice machine, cranking fresh ice all the time. The staff from the shop was very attentive to our needs. Even offering help on a project or decision. They checked on us frequently, and before they were leaving for the evening. We were able to stay as late as we wanted, and start as early as we wanted. There are plenty of cute downtown Parkville shops around to fit lots of appetites or shopping desires, all within walking distance. I highly recommend you get your friends together and have a weekend of fun. The only problem, I didn’t get all my projects done!
Sandra Leblanc: Was somewhere else when I found this cool store. Nice selection on quilting supplies and fabrics. The ladies in the store were very nice and welcoming.
Britta Neal: As soon as I walked in I was greeted. I had a few questions and was able to quickly get help even though they were busy, will be coming back for future fabric
Janice Lemasters: Great selection of quilting fabric and quilting notions.
Lisa Shenk: Gorgeous fabric, super sweet owner!
Rita Stone: Not overly impressed, while selection was fabric style I like, prices were not marked on most bolts and turned out to be much higher than other shops in nearby areas. Staff tended to be less friendly with others in our small group and appeared to be put out, when fabric cutting requests appeared to interrupt their personal conversation. Added - Spoke to the owner, who was very pleasant and believe this was unusual staff behavior and may return on our next trip to the area.
Cynthia West: They have a good selection of quality fabrics and are very friendly. It's worth the visit located in historic Parkville.
Louanne Carroll: So much variety and they are so friendly and helpful! I could spend lots of time in there!
Shelley Pouliot: It is the nicest quilt shop in the metro area. The people are awesome to work with. I will definitely be giving them my business in the future.
Serah Bell: The owner and staff are super friendly and supportive. Nice to know there is somewhere that offers bag making classes. They have a gorgeous fabric collection and a ton of notions from By Annie. I am glad I found them. If you are in Parkville, even if it is for the walking trails, stop by and you will want to pick up sewing as a hobby.
Linda Olsen: It was a wonderful place. The people were so very helpful and friendly. Wished they were closer.

The owners went out of their way to make our trip really great. Breakfast was nicely done. Patti is especially helpful with quilt questions. Cannot say enough about the comfy beds, thick towels and comforts you might not expect. I cannot wait to go back!
Kathryn Davis: I met Patti when I signed up for a T-Shirt Quilting Class. I learned so much from this class and Patti offered all her help for me to continue and finish my project. I continued to come on Monday Sewcial and loved it! I have several new friends and even joined the Monthly Strip Club. It has been so rewarding for me. I have made several new small quilts under Patti's direction and it has been truely a wonderful experience. Patti is a wonderful teacher! I look forward every week for new things to learn with my new friends. Highly recommended!
Chris Gierer: Patti is so helpful. With her guidance and support I was able to sew some dining room curtains for my house. I enjoyed the other crafters & quilters, ate some snacks, and had a great time at KC Maker Studio and Retreats.
Pam Heller: What a fabulous space! Plenty of room to do crafting or sewing in the basement. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious. It was close to fun restaurants and the sights of KC. I would recommend KC Maker Studio to anyone who wants a getaway retreat!
Judy Mischke: Dana and Patti were great hosts for our retreat. Great facility!
Lori Bain: The KC Makerspace is a fantastic retreat and teaching center. No only do you have GREAT hosts, Patti also teaches classes, hold sew ins and is an amazing Longarm quilter! On top of all of that - they also have a wonderful online Etsy shop. You won’t be disappointed with any time of the events they host!
Gail Allen: Sewing has filled a void for me. It brings me joy to create beautiful keepsakes for my family, friends and myself. This is made possible by the guidance of Patti Meier. Her studio has hosted several classes and Monday sewcial. Not only does Patti teach and guide me but all the people who attend the classes are creative and collaborative. I just love this place.
Priscilla Strube: This is absolutely a beautiful home! My friends and I did a quilting retreat there and it was amazing. The sewing area was well lighted, which is very important for sewers. The bedrooms were so comfortable and welcoming. The owner's, Dana and Patti are wonderful people. Dana bent over backwards to make our stay perfect. He even went fabric shopping for us! How many men would do that?!I highly recommend using KC Maker Studio and Retreat for you next event.I would highly recommend KC Maker Studio and Retreats for your next event.
Patti Baumgartner: Great place to learn to quilt. Patti is an amazing teacher. Fantastic choice of fabric to choose from. Every week something new comes in and I have trouble choosing which one to use for my next project. She offers long arm quilting services too.
Kylah Bierbrodt: I had Patti make a custom quilt and it turned out better than I could have imagine. She was able to take my ideas and gave helpful insight of how to make it work. She also surprised me by adding a detail to the stitching to make it even more personal. I am highly recommending her and will seek out her services for any future quilts I want to make.

Richlin Fabrics: what do users think?
Joy Garcia: Couldn't even get in because they only sell to businesses.
Rondi Anderson: For wholesale only. Very good at what they do.
Julie H: I have been ordering fabric from Laura Samet with Richlin Fabrics for the past several years and love doing business with her. Doesn't matter if I'm sending a question or an order she responds to my emails immediately. I've always received a quick turnaround time and my orders have always been accurate.
little threads: I placed an order with Richlin fabrics and we received one bolt in a broken box and re taped I ordered 6 bolts and I received only one. They shipped by Fedex , I called Richlin immediately to let them know the situation. They will going to pack my goods and ship and charge again my credit card. while they solve the problem with Fedex. We had recently the same situation in my business , we shipped to a customer their order and the box got lost with USPS, the customer called looking for a tracking number and I found out about the lost package. Immediately we repacked their order of my customer and we shipped their order. I never asked for the customer to pay back again while I found out and put a claim with the carrier. I have never heard of a customer service so bad as Richlin, they want to charge my credit card twice while they take their time to find out with Fedex what happened with the rest of the goods. I spoke with the owner and I am amazed that a person in business can deal with a situation so poorly.
Rhonda Barber: I have done business with them for approximately 3 yrs maybe 4. They are always very nice to work with. Also helpful when looking for something outside the box. I can’t say enough.
connie ratzlaff: Loved it
Cheryl Wyrick: Great place to save money!
Conni Begeman: Great
Fahren Green: Great place to acquire fabric of you buy several bolts.
Jill Petersen: Fabrics are good. Watch out for the shipping charges! Almost double what I was quoted and much higher than other wholesale suppliers. Put me in real trouble with my business.
Dan Novak (Prime Time Real Estate): Its awesome. Best selection in the world
Susi Matthews: Fabric at Wholesale prices in the warehouse (one must have a tax ID number to shop there) north of the river. Nice people & two shop dogs in residence. Great selection!
Tom H: If you are in the business, this is the place to go. Very friendly staff (and dogs)
Heather Loewenstein: Staff is always helpful and the stock is great.
Alexander Dyer: This place is cool, you got to buy a certain amount but if you need bolts of fabric there is a good selection and the quality is pretty fair.

Fabric Recycles Llc: what do users think?
Karen Foster: Erica was VERY nice & helpful.Nice selection for a small shop!
Love Baby: BEWARE! You CANNOT exchange or return ANYTHING! I bought $30 worth of material because I was feeling a little pressure to find something for a project. After consideration, I really don't like the color and pattern at all. It is still in its package untouched. I'm stuck with an expensive mistake. What kind of place doesn't offer store credit! I am SO upset!!!
Kara Reiff: Great find!!
vicky werner: Best place to look for fabricReasonable prices
Karen Turner: Awesome store, very nice people and so happy we found this place!

They have a great selection of not only fabric and sewing supplies, but also yarn, embroidery kits and more! The staff are friendly and go above and beyond to help. Bonus, even though each piece of fabric is individually priced, they'll cut it to the size you need and reprice based on the quantity purchased!
Heather B: Cute little shop sells pre-owned crafting goods for cheap. Go here before wasting money at the big box retailer.
Ali Fowler: Great selection and great prices!
Brandie Oehring: First time in this store today and I absolutely loved it! The staff is really friendly and more than happy to help. They have a nice selection of different types of fabrics, threads and what not. Drove roughly 3 hours just to see this store and it was worth the drive. Will definitely come back.
Christine Bell: Does Not carry upholstery fabric - which is what I googled.Great for quilters or projects needs only a few yards or a variety of fabrics
Elita G: I never leave empty handed which is commendable as I go in looking for fabrics for very specific projects. Prices are very fair, customer service is top notch AND they have a rewards program. They have patterns, sewing supplies of all kinds and their stock changes all the time. My one stop for fabrics.

Definitely a must go to shop if you were in the Kansas City area.

Quilted Memories LLC: what do users think?
Abby: I could not have imagined that the memory quilt I requested in honor of my dad, would have turned out this beautiful. Working with Lyn was a pleasure and the work this shop does for families is priceless. The quality of the quilt is amazing and Lyn asks amazing questions to make sure she is understanding the vision and also helped me with the process. Can't say enough good things. Lyn is a artist! Thank you!
Mariah Williams: I would like to start by sharing how easy it was to schedule a consult and explain what it was I was wanting with each memory quilt. The turn around time for 2 quilts and 2 bears was pretty quick for the requests I made with each quilt.Lyn and her staff are friendly, accommodating and do amazing work!I wanted to incorporate several different pieces in my memory t-shirt quilts and they made it happen (flannels, bandanas, pj pants). Everything turned out more beautiful than I could've imagined. The quality is great and will hold up for many years to come.Thank you for the perfect items to cherish my parents with! 💓
Zaina Juracek: I had the best experience with Quilted Memories. They made the most beautiful quilt using t-shirts I brought in. I would recommend them to anyone!
Morgan Irwin: I had a really great experience at Quilted Memories. I made an appointment to take my sorority t-shirts in. Many of my shirts had pockets or graphics on the front and the back, and they were willing to use all graphics. I got to pick out my fabric and quilt “style”. I also got to pick out the style of stitching that covers the entire quilt. I am extremely happy with my memory quilt!
Tristen Richardson: I had a t-shirt quilt made and it came out great! It got done faster than I would’ve expected and she had multiple options available for backings. I was also able to make appointments to drop off shirts and pick up the quilt since I wasn’t able to make it during their regular hours. 10/10 recommend
Blessed: My quilt top was finished into a lovely finished quilt! It is beautiful! Very happy with the quilting and the prairie points! Will be back again!
Vicki Ibarra: Great prices and the ladies are helpful
Wendy Blair: My mom passed away before she could finish the quilts for my sister and me. Lyn was very helpful in completing 2 quilts as I can’t sew. I’m very happy with how the quilts turned out.
Tangela Welch: This is the 3rd quilt Lyn has made for my family😊At the end of my children’s senior year I put together memories of textiles they’ve worn over the years and bring them to Lyn. She’s so patient as I try to narrow down which items to choose and has been able to use items that mean so much to me like my son’s first bomber jacket that I never thought possible. They always turn out so much more beautiful than I imagine. My oldest daughter has used hers all through college, washed it many, many times and it still looks like it did when I purchased it 5 years ago. What a gift, to be able to send them to college with a little piece of home. I’m so grateful for Lyn and quilted memories!! I highly recommend!! I wouldn’t entrust those pieces of our memories with anyone else. Thank you!!
Christopher Maxwell: If you are looking for professionalism and passion look no further. All I had to do was bring a bag of shirts and Lyn turned it into something I will forever cherish. This is by far the most quality memory quilt I have seen.
Brittany DeLuna: Little bit hard to find, but a cute little shop!
Papa Picker's Better Half: Very nice staff. Not a whole lot of fabric, but great if you are a longarm quilter. They sell batting and pantograph designs.
Dana: Quilted Memories has all things quilted-the local quilt store is still alive. QM is my resource for unique Longarm quilting supplies (needles, longarm thread, wideback and regular fabric), and is available in a retail location with better prices than the internet. There is a huge selection of batting from bags, or right off the roll or the whole roll. Lyn has a new line of custom manufactured batting “Stitch in Time” that is my new favorite 80/20 resource. The store/warehouse is a little hidden to locate the first time, but once found it is super convenient right off the highway. And her team makes custom quilts!
David Alexander: Lyn is amazing! She is so knowledgeable and friendly. Seriously call her if you need help with anything quilting in Kansas City. Her cost on quilting supplies is also the best in town!
Laurie: Very knowledgeable and helpful!
Judy Lyon: Learned a lot about batting. And surprisingly succumbing to their beautiful fabric.
M Cour: Quilted memories has a nice selection of 108" quilt backing fabrics, and a small but rather ordinary selection of fabrics. Where they fail to deliver is on service. The one quilt I paid over $100 to have quilted was not delivered on time, and was not even begun until I called to inquire after the promise date what had happened. When it was returned, there was both a pleat and a thread knot on the back, and three places where the backing had flipped over and was sewn down along the edges. I had to rip out these errors and fix them as this quilt was a gift. I will not use them again.Update: Lyn refunded the money I spent on quilting services. I did not originally report this as it was a gift and I had to repair it immediately to give to the recipient the next day. Lyn asks that anyone who has a problem with the quality of the quilting services, please contact her directly.
Tony Dickerson: My first quilting experience! Love that I get to patronize a family - owned business! They take care of you!

Harper's Fabric & Quilt Co: what do users think?
Taylor Westfall: Took a hand embroidery class with Jackie and absolutely loved it! The shop is adorable and the class was affordable and informative. Will definitely return.
Lucy Hoffman: This store has some cute fabric! I’m giving it a below average rating because I feel like the service is poor. When I was younger, I took a sewing class and the instructor was very… cold and nit-picky. If you have a beginner wanting to learn, I feel like the classes would turn them off from ever learning. Maybe they’re better for people who already know how to quilt and just want to meet people? Anyways, I returned recently to browse and wasn’t greeted at all. When I went to the counter to ask a question about a machine, the lady was short and condescending. I’m disappointed because I love how warm the sewing community usually is, and I love to shop small, but Harper’s leaves me wanting to run to JoAnns instead.
Debbie Stanton: They had replacement bobbins and needles that I wasn't able to get where I get my machine fixed. Glad to know I have somewhere else to get my sewing machine accessories.
Alycia Maurer: They maintenanced my Viking sewing machine at a very reasonable cost and with quality workmanship. I love to buy fabric and notions for my Viking machines there. Looking at taking a class!
Kortney Mettle: This is a great shop and I really enjoyed the class I took. You can tell, they know their customers and community very well, everyone that came in was treated as family. The selection of fabrics, is fantastic, they seem to have something for everyone and are willing to lend a hand as needed.Happy to take more classes soon!
Kastian “Kas” Slayton: Good but pricey
Richard VanDyke: Large inventory of everything wanted and exceptional staff.
Pat Vaughn: Good variety of fabric and patterns
rrw jes: I have shopped and learned at Harper’s for 25 years and love this gem of a shop. I feel inspired the moment I walk in the door by the proliferation of color, art, and imagination! The knowledgeable instructors have helped me improve my construction techniques so my garments fit perfectly and my fabric creations look beautiful. They carry some whimsical fabrics I haven’t seen elsewhere. Elaine taught me the secret to interfacing and stocks unique products I didn’t know I needed until I used them. I feel at home here among the sewists.
Audrey Martin: Beautiful shop, friendly people working I loved to variety
Claudia Tang: Great! Super friendly, a big store with lots of space to spread out. Very clean and bright. Fat quarters are displayed right next to their line/similar lines. I went to pick up a print that I saw on their Facebook page, and I honestly thought it would be more expensive than it was. Maybe I'm used to much more expensive independent quilt shops, or markups for brand names (this was moda), or who knows. Also easy to get to and walk around. There's easy parking nearby. Will come again, will probably take a class and get my machine serviced here and my scissors sharpened. One thing-they don't take American Express. This is pretty common so I'm not gonna count it against them, it's just something to know, if that's what you have.
Erica Rainae: Simple easy fast
Suzanne Maschler: I moved here from Oregon, where I had an outstanding Husqvarna machine dealer. Returning to Kansas, I struggled to find someone who knew anything about my machine. Yes, Joanns knew a little....but were hard to deal with and Missouri Sewing machine was very accomodating, but again...knew little about my machine. So happy to find Harpers! They are very knowledgeable and accommodating. whew!
Kim Gerber: I love this place! This quilt shop makes me happy. I visit the shop typically once a week, check out the latest fabrics. Last Sunday's visit, there were plenty of quilts displayed on the walls, along with beautiful fabric choices, as we move into the new year. I was a bit confused trying to pick a fabric for my class. I was helped so well, as she helped me choose a few fabrics that would look nice together. Caring and thoughtful. I have taken Friday studio classes , a big stitch hand sewing class, currently taking in a Little Jo quilt class, an all day beginner sewing class, a paper piecing mini quilt class. All instructors are hugely helpful, encouraging, and know their craft well. I have a 1965 Singer sewing machine that needs a tune up every so often. Harper's keeps my Noni's sewing machine in tip top shape. My sewing machine is cast iron. Weighs a ton. I am able to call ahead, borrow a sewing machine to use for a class. During the summer time, I enjoy seeing all the young people taking summer sewing classes, creating fun projects. It is not always easy to be a small business, local owner, trying to do their best to serve their patrons well. Most appreciated and thank you!
Rose Barrow: Great shop. Wide open and loaded with fabric, notions and machines. The sewing classroom was awesome. Highly recommend.
Lynn Liikala-Seymore: Always motivating. Staff are genuinely helpful.
Gayle Morris: Wife and daughter took class and please with teacher ,Mary. Very knowledgeable and patience with beginners.
Karla DeLoach: I like the layout of the store. But both times that I have been there the reception has been lacking. I would recommend for the actual products they have but the customer service was rude enough that I will go to the other store's. I shop quilt/fabric stores all over the country, so I'll be fine looking for products.
Denise Murphy: If you want to quilt or take quilting lessons, this is the place to go. They have wonderful classes and their inventory of fabric is unbelievably vast. Steak it new patterns, new Fabrics, new books all the time. So there's always something new to look at, or, TO BUY! Very knowledgeable people and very friendly.
Dianne Kester: Very nice shop with lots of beautiful fabric. But l walked no one to welcome me, I wandered around for about 5 min. No one ever came to the front. This was my first time in the store customer service very bad. I finally had to go to the rear of store to find help. Too bad. It is very good selection of fabric.
Jessie Mehl: I like the many projects they put on display. It's not a huge shop, but they have a good assortment of fabric and quilting items.

Quilter's Station: what do users think?
S Q: Very unfriendly and unwelcoming. Any question I asked was answered in a perfunctory way, while they kept doing whatever they were doing. No offer to show me where my very specific choices would be in the store. (This was a weekday, and I only saw 2 other people in the store). When I called that morning to ask if they had a specific Kona solid color, they claimed they had '70something thousand bolts' and so couldn't be bothered to look. So I went. They didn't have one solid color in the limited palette of 5 colors I was working with. They said all their fabrics were at least "mottled", no solids. So, unfriendly and unwelcoming, and didn't have what I needed, which was not an unusual choice. I called a quilt store in Lenexa, and they said they have a whole wall of solids. And maybe they'll even be nice to me, too.
Dianne Dyer: So sorry i haven't found this place before! Lovely felted wools and any supplies you might need for quilting and counted cross stitching! I will DEFINITELY be back!
Cynthia Schroeder: Was there this past weekend. Live in St lou...I have never seen so much fabric in my life. If you want fabric they will have it...most impressive fabric store I have ever been in.
Bridget Ashley: Big well stocked store. Impressive amount of inventory. If you're looking for something they probably have it!
Amy Atnip: I am not one to write reviews - either positive or negative but felt very strongly that I needed to write a review regarding this quilt shop. My mother, father, sister, and I had the blessing of driving together from Texas to Northwest Iowa in the last few weeks. We made several stops at quilt shops along the way and the Quilter's Station was in the top few of our experiences. I read the reviews posted prior to choosing to stop here, telling my mom and sister that the website had beautiful pictures of the store but some not so positive reviews of the staff. We were greeted immediately with a welcome and a smile when we walked into the store. The staff was more than helpful in locating items and offering suggestions. There was a particular kit we were interested in and they looked high and low to find it and YES we even used the restroom. This is a wonderful quilt shop for all the material and stock but more importantly the staff. Make sure you stop and shop - you won't be disappointed. I just wish they were closer to Texas. As an alternative, I will definitely shop from their website as I know I can call ask questions and be greeted with great staff more than willing help.
Lee Totzke: I paid 300 down for a weekend plans changed and they keep it to make a profit. This business is greedy. There is a wait-list and they will charge full price for the person filling my spot of 650. While keeping my 300.00.
Lori Porter: The staff didn’t even speak, except in check out where you are given the impression that checking you out is a hassle for them. The store is so tightly packed and cramped that there is not room to move or to see everything.
Cindy Folmer: What a great place to stop along I-49!! So much fabric and wonderful ideas are all over the place. The team was super helpful. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely bring a bigger suitcase!! 😀
Ginny KS: I visited this shop about 3 years ago with 5 others and had a wonderful experience. Recently, I Did a pre-bus trip scout before planning our fall shop hop. Buses have a bathroom but ladies don’t always like to use them. We make use of the facilities at the shops. Very disappointed that they no longer allow customers to use the restroom. Sadly we have to take this shop out of consideration for our trip.
babybeckem: I couldn’t wait to visit this shop. After driving more than 3 hours my friend and I were not allowed to use their restrooms. No one was wearing a mask, including employees and guests were not asked to wear a mask upon entering the store. The CDC dropped mask mandates weeks ago. I asked why we couldn’t use the restroom and the employee responded that they would be at Covid risk when they cleaned the restroom if we used it. We were told to go the CVS store or QT and use their restrooms. I was shocked and humiliated. I was planning on spending a lot at this store but felt devalued as a customer. We shopped at other fabric stores in the area instead, and I will not return to Quilters Station. BTW I am fully vaccinated and had my booster against Covid!
Imelda Done: Wrote a review about how nice this shop was before. I even shared some photos. I failed to mention how uninviting the lady was in this store. After reading some reviews, I thought I ought to mention this. Even my 18-yr old daughter remembered how cold she was to us. We never returned.
Deb Baker: We traveled 3 hours to visit this shop. We all agreed the Wow factor was present & shop was worth the drive. We asked for restroom explaining the long trip and was told we don't have one. I truly didn't believe it as this shop offered classes and currently one was being held. I was shown the gas station across the highway was the closest one. Tried to shop but really needed restroom and again I asked. Shook her head at me. Went to gas station and went back to shop.. witnessed lady give key to someone to use restroom. We decided not to shop much, as the saying in Pretty Woman, BIG MISTAKE BIG! I can't believe sewing sisters would do this to others, we were not scruffy looking, all in our 60's had list in hand. probably lost 1500.00 in sales that day. I took it very personal and was insulted.
Jim Drummond: Great place
David Coulson (Flyrodn): We visit this store as my wife loves their fabric. That's why we drive from Platte City.
Debbie Riner: They have everything you need to quilt an they helped me with some one to do quilting on my blanket
Vicki Axe: Great store but drove over an hour to shop there was the only customer n the store and was told there was not a restroom available had to go to a different business and decided to keep my couple of hundred dollars I would have spent and drove back home
Shirley Ware: Wish they had classes again
Brenda Prieksat: I have always loved this store and visit it every time I get to the KC area. Great selection. Lots of wool and plenty of sale fabrics but I was disappointed that this time they charged me a surcharge for using a credit card. That is just a cost of doing business in this day and age and shouldn't be passed on to the customer. I was buying quite a bit and don't carry that much cash around so I didn't have any choice but to pay it.
elaine mckenzie: Staff was very friendly and helpful. Lots to choose from.
Jessie Mehl: Amazing place!! I can't say enough nice things. What a jewel of a quilt store. But wait! They also have an amazing assortment for those who love embroidery, punch needle, wool work, rug making, etc. The best assortment of floss in the KC area. The owner was there with two staff members. They were so friendly and helpful. They offer classes as well. I can't wait to go back.
Terry Wright: Very helpful with a quilt. Will be back for some classes. Thank you!

Quilters HQ: what do users think?
Ruth Leake: Staff is unhelpful and rude
pam lafollette: Thanks so much to Vicki. She was so patient with me. Informative and helpful but not pushy about anything. She listened to what I was looking for and helped me choose the best machine for my needs. Thanks, I'm excited to create!
aurora StandUp: Terrible customer service over the phone I asked a question about my sewing machine and they belittled me at the same time as not knowing a thing about sewing machines. 10/10 would not recommend unless you like to be treated like dirt.
Becky Monk: Placed an order for 2 layer cakes and received only one. When I called to let them know, they were unable to help me because apparently there is only one person who handles shipments and was told they would be in the next day and would call me. That didn’t happen. I had to call, and that same person, was not going to be in that day either. Apparently, no one knows how to mail a package except for the accountant for this business, who I was told is the person I am waiting on to call me. Poorest customer service I have had in a good while. I’ve worked retail for years in the past and if you have wronged a customer, you certainly don’t keep putting them off. How hard can it be to put a package in the mail?
Nina Bonney: I watch every Tuesday nite from home and Robert always acknowledges every single person. Each purchase i made has been the best experience from my couch!! Quality of fabric is superb and my thread goes without saying 5 stars. Lovexquikters HQ and everyone who works here

Tom Widick-Eckery: In searching on the Juki web site for a dealer, I found two option each 180 miles away. I sent both dealers an email. I heard from Quilters HQ in Overland Park within 24 hours and the other, over a month later.Being a new quilter, I had many question and Joan was an excellent resource! With her three stores, she is very familiar and experienced with a large selection of sewing machine brands. After many helpful emails, I was confident that I made the right decision in the long arm machine and more importantly, Quilters HQ as a company. They have excellent customer service! I know if I have any questions, Quilters HQ is only a phone call away.I placed the order for my machine over the phone and within a few weeks, my new Juki Long Arm was delivered to my door and ready to use.Quilters HQ is a great resource, they have a weekly live show to introduce new fabrics, notions, demos and store specials. Quilters HQ is very welcoming and treat their customers like a community!Quilters HQ is a class act! A great quilt store with excellent customer service was a great find! I plan to visit the next time I'm in Kansas City! The candy bouquet was a FUN surprise as a thank you from Quilters HQ!
