G H: I called Jeremy Electrical to install a power whip for a new gas fireplace insert installation. Their technician Adrian, was very friendly and professional. He listened patiently as I showed him what I needed for the new unit. He was able to finish the job quickly and efficiently without running new Romex, saving me time and money! Kevin Griffith: Good communication with company. Text and email responses. Electrician Nick arrived on time and went straight to work. He inquired as to our wants and performed needed repairs. Replace fan light attachment for a LED light and new light shade. Screws were overly tight but he managed to extract them and install new ones. He then added an outlet to our GFI deck outlet. Suggesting an approach and confirmed we were ok with that approach. Josh Thomas: I had McClure out in the fall of '21 for a couple of quotes. Jacob made it out quickly and provided helpful feedback for the work I was interested in (panel upgrade). I finally got around to the panel upgrade this winter. After getting another quote, I decided on McClure based on my original experience, their reputation, and the price. I was able to get on their calendar right away. Kayla was great getting things set up, and speedy in her correspondence. David Page: Something of a misunderstanding on my part, Jacob came out planning to give only an estimate. He quickly jumped into troubleshooting the issues (downstairs wall outlets were out) and had them restored, plus correcting shoddy wiring in the circuit main panel that could have caused dangerous conditions if left as is. He then schooled me on how to replace eight mismatched breakers on my own. All within an hour and he was off to his next job. Saved the day! David shows up and instead of testing the switch, tries to sell my dad a 4000.00 new box. Its sunday night and you csnt just replace a main breaker? On top of that it was an immediate 300.00 charge. Julie Pitzenberger: I am a 8 year customer and angry at learning they are charging a ridiculous amount to replace a capacitor at $471!!! I have called 4 other companies to learn that the reasonable customary is in the range of $150-$180. This is how they treat a long time customer that has even sent referrals to them. They say it was a system glitch and say they can shave off $125. Which is STILL well above the reasonable and customary!!! I even found a company out of Clinton Missouri that would have come up to do it for $180!!! Guess we will NOT be buying our new AC Unit from them. When you get their bill they also will not itemize it so you can see the part cost vs labor. Look it up Capacitors range from $8.50 to $38.00. pretty step mark up to charge a customer $471!!!! Heidi Clark: So I get that I had an issue that was a last minute fix but I was originally told the service call is usually $98 but they had a special going on for $49.They showed up the next morning. They first said the fan motor was bad but then once removing it he realized that it was fine. Then he said he wanted to test the capacitor. It was bad. I looked up the part and on Amazon it was max $38. So he replaced the capacitor and the unit worked. He was at my house (including time to take payment) 32 mins. My total was $471!!!! And he said he waved the service call fee! Please do research before using the first person that responds. Every other person we have spoke to said prices to change this part are $150-200max!
