Noneya Business: Do not move into Chadwick apartments located at 16. E 34th terrace. There is a huge cockroach infestation. The basement level also has a huge flooding problem. There is a huge mold issue in the floors and walls. Nothing was done upon multiple complaints.

James Symmonds: Chain stores in an open air mall setting. Seems to be on a slow decline. Absolute shame that they knocked down a classic part of Plaza architecture for someone who has decided to pull out. That's going to be a hard recovery and I suspect that the soul of the plaza is going to continue to get sucked out of the place by developers. Update: sure enough. Plaza lighting really sucked this year.
Les Bro: It is always nice to get to the Plaza. It's a great date night place. I love it in the summertime in the evenings. The fountains are beautiful and romantic.There are lots of restaurants and stores to stroll through during the day. If you are visiting Kansas City, the Plaza is a great place to go. You will see all types of people, especially in the summertime. It is a great place to people watch.Unattended teens have a 9:00 pm, police enforced curfew.

Carter Taylor: It’s a known issue that the restroom accommodations are a huge issue and that the lack of publicly accessible facilities is a major failure of planning, a barrier to those who have disabilities and discriminatory against women. It does not matter if it’s you or your small child, they will not let you use the restrooms in many stores and even restaurants. They’ll send you down the street and you have to hope that the one place that lets others use the bathroom will be open, have no line, and not be out of order like they often are when handling that volume of people. These policies may have been put in place to prevent the unhoused from being in the area, but they majorly impact other groups as well.

Becky Searcy: Everything was great! They worked with me! Pick up and return was fast and easy! Tables were really dirty and sticky with soda and ice cream. A Clorox or Lysol wipe could have been used prior to my pick up but I returned them clean and not sticky.
Jeff Needles: Our experience with KC Party Rentals was great! They were very helpful with tips on setting up since we did the DIY (which is a great deal). Kids loved the bounce house and we will definitely be using KC Party Rental again!

Matt Tessier: I hate to leave a three star review. It’s an impressive zoo, and we saw some cool things, but the ride situation is out of control. It seems like everything is a paid “add-on” once you get inside after having paid a high admission price. The train ride was probably 100 yards and the “tram ride” takes you like 150 ft, and after you pay for that, you find out it’s not round trip! Then the sky ride is extra money…then the carousel is extra money….then the boat ride is extra money…then feeding the stingrays is extra money. Felt extorted once inside. Very sad to leave such a review for my wife’s childhood zoo, because there are some good memories there, but the ride situation is unfortunate

Alexis Donnelly: First thing I noticed walking in this zoo was trash in the turtle pond. Was a bit unsettling. There was a lot more than I would have liked to see. Most animals looked unhappy. My biggest pet peeve was the straws they give you for the slushies. Someone in corporate really needs to know about that. The tiny straws are not appropriate for large slushies at all. The guy working the ski-lift could use an attitude change. Soley giving 4 stars based off of memories with family. Seriously though the straw thing was a visible problem for everyone who had one.

Luis Leon: What a fun day at zoo with my baby boy and his classmates! School asked us to be there at 9:00 am and glad it was early. This is definitely a zoo to spend the whole day at! I was impressed with how clean it was despite how many children were visiting. There were some exhibits with a sign that mentioned some animals might not be in view but we were actually able to see everything (with the exception of the few that were off exhibit). There is a great variety of species and some cool experiences like the stingray touch area and aviaries. We went to AFRICA the boys special exhibit. They are alway excited for the lions, however it would be nice if they add a male lion.Lots of areas to cold off!*Be prepared to walk for parking. It fills up fast!

Thomas Mendoza: The folks at this Hertz loction were super nice and friendily Mokan and Chris. I planned to have my car returned to KC air port but they said if the car is returned back to KC airport they would not get it back. It did mess up my intial plans to leave KC. They said thied pay for the uber.However, It did not mess up my plans at all. when I renturned a week later it was fast and easy check out in the end I just took an uber back to the airport and it was no big deal. Great ford fusion car, great staff, I recomend it for car rental in KC.During special events they can run out of cars for you to rent so I would call ahead of time to make sure you can have a vehicle that you're interested in renting. That's what they told me on the first day so take that is it info and be careful.

After multiple calls the manage said they were on their way, give them 10-15 min. Over an hour later the Driver dropped off the car with 1/2 a tank despite the Ticket saying FULL.I am a Huge fan of Hertz.... but will not use at this location.
Jack Drummond: Very nice and helpful staff who made all the necessary explanations easily clear.They did a few, very important, things for me-, like taking my luggage out to the trunk- as I am seriously diminished by emphysema.I had a like experience on the rental return. A different crew, but still just as helpful.I kept their number in my book, no need to shop around KC For a better deal.

Arie Cotta: Wish I could give 0 stars. They allowed me to make a reservation even though they didn't have any cars to fulfill reservations. Also, they didn't call to let me know they had no cars until a few hours before I was supposed to pick it up and leave on a trip. I was also charged for the insurance despite not being given a car and they told me I had to cancel it through Expedia. That took another hour to figure out. All in all, a terrible experience and would not recommend.

My fiance had to explain to them that they rented us a car with nails in the tire and that their roadside assistance wouldn't help us so we had to pay out of pocket to fix THEIR CAR. Than they attempted to tell my fiance that they wouldn't reimburse it... Thank Glob one of the employees actually knew what was up and is making sure we get reimbursed for fixing THEIR CAR.

Alex Kornis: Just rented a vehicle from there. The staff was friendly and helpful. They only charged me a $200 deposit instead of the outrageous $500 deposit I was quoted over the phone. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. I made a 400 miles round trip and returned it with zero issues. I give them 5 stars.
Tess Koppelman: I admit that I saw these reviews the night before my reservation and I had a panic attack! But then I went in, got my car with no issues, returned with no issues.My only complaint is that for a car with only 26,000 miles it was beat up. The seat had burn marks and stains, the front bumper was damaged. I didn't care, since everything worked right and they didn't try to charge me for anything when I returned it. All the damages were documented in the photos when I rented it so I wasn't worried about them trying to charge me for anything.I'm just adding my review so people know that people have good experiences here too!

Ryan Harrington: Way too expensive for the quality. Only good thing was the location if you enjoy downtown life, but still have great accessibility to outside areas.
Diane Jardine Bruce: It was so quick after I filed my service request that the technician was here in the apartment to fix my dryer. Professional, kind, and considerate! And it got fixed perfectly! Couldn't be happier
Collin Higley: Had previously left a one star review and it looks like they had it scrubbed.The only plus about living here is the I-35 access. The cons far outweigh that pro. I've lived here for over two years in two different buildings. 1st unit was great, moved for a better floor plan, and it's been a nightmare since. Shoddy materials and construction have led to flooding and getting barged in on naked in the bath tub by someone that can't communicate with the residents at all due to a language barrier. Led to being out of the unit several days for them to "fix" the issue multiple times that continued to leak into the hall. The security features are trash. Key fobs are junk, constantly have to replace batteries, and have had a new fob that still doesn't work as it should. Garages get broken into because they have no handle on their stuff. They threaten the residents about having video cameras everywhere which is false. Doors are easily ripped open by intruders. Doors don't lock when they should and then get broken completely shut. The gate that's supposed to be secure is hardly ever working, mostly just slams in the wind. Got unruly neighbors that management refuses to take any real action about. I can't recommend living somewhere else enough.

Kevin Larson came over within a couple hours after I requested service on the app and he fixed my disposal in less than five minutes! Game changer when your service requests are handled so quickly and people are so friendly and helpful!
Josh Boehm: I loved living here at Summit for 2.5 years. My apartment was very nice and spacious, management was diligent and considerate, and the facilities were always nice and kept up. I don’t have any complaints and would recommend it to anyone wanting a great downtown living experience!
Aaron Smith: I've lived here for 2 years. I have nothing but good things to say about the building and staff. Whenever problems arise, management is quick to react. Rent price is competitive with the market. Additionally, the amenities are excellent - an incredible new coffee maker was just added in the commons area.
Allyson Braggs: I love this community. I have had nothing but good experiences with the staff and the property. Whenever I have had any issues they are handled fast and properly. The office staff learn your name and smile and really try to get to know you personally. They have also handled COVID well. Masks are required of course, they keep everything super clean, and since everyone is ordering online all the time the lockers have been upgraded - so I never have to worry about my packages. I even transferred apartments this year - and they made that process SUPER simple for me and they were so helpful. I am definitely staying here as long as I can.
Susie Lippert: We love the area but our floor smells horrific. The building mgmt has checked and said it is someone smoking but it has been going on for probably a year now and everything in my apartment smells. I don't have time to move right now but I will be moving as soon as I can.I dont think it is the managements fault and they have acknowledged the problem but I have never experienced this even in buildings that allow smoking.Make sure you walk the building and floor you will be living in before you sign a lease. .

The facilities are well-maintained and the amenities are fantastic. Summit on Quality Hill has been a great place for us to call home!

Erika Klotz: My business partner, Scott, lived here. Honestly, the reason for the star review is the management. The quality started out great, but then went downhill. They charged him all sorts of bogus fees upon move out when he is one of the cleanest tenants, always on time with payments, and never had noise complaints.Everything else with the complex is good, but when it comes to treating tenants like people, don't expect it from this group. And to me, liking your management is a serious consideration.

Corey Halderman: I lived at this complex for 2 years. I moved in May 15, 2017 and was told the pool would be open by Memorial Day. The pool did open until Labor Day that year. I still enjoyed my time the first year despite the pool not being open the entire summer. I moved apartments within the complex my second year. I lived in building 5 on the top floor and got experience a sprinkler line bursting in the middle of winter that flooded half the building. A contractor told me it would likely happen again next year. When I told the leasing office I was moving out the agent got snotty with me and they stopped helping me. One example is my key to my apartment and garage didn’t work for a couple days and I had to go to the leasing office multiple times to correct it before it was finally fixed. I moved out and only got $17 out of my deposit of $550 because they had to replace the carpet and clean the apartment. I left the apartment in near spotless condition and even vacuumed the carpet in the bedroom which cost $362 to replace. Keep in mind I was the original resident in this apartment. I would highly advise if you’re going to spend this kind of money to look elsewhere. Unfortunately, this is by far one of the worst renting experiences I’ve ever had.
Natalie Holden: I love my spacious and beautiful apartment! The patios are wonderful and I am looking forward to enjoying the pool this summer. Management and maintenance are extremely helpful and friendly—Bryan and Blake always respond to address any questions or issues very quickly!
Traci Meeds: Here's a little background ... I have been a home owner for almost 25 years. Last year, I decided to scale back and rent an apartment. I looked at so many apartments. I had quite a list of 'requirements' that had to be met. Summit on Quality Hill not only met all my requirements, but exceeded them! Bryan helped me with my lease and he has been my 'go to' person ever since, answering even some of my silliest questions about apartment renting. Not only are the front office staff fabulous to work with, but our maintenance crew (especially Josh!) is amazing! They work tirelessly to maintain the complex (this was a brutal year for them with this winter's snowfall, but sidewalks and parking lots were always cleared). This is truly a nice little community within the heart of the city. The office hosts fun events [usually something every month], like wine tasting, pool parties, dog park happy hour, etc. If the dog park isn't your cup of tea, just wait a month and attend the next event! And if I don't know anyone at an event, I can always count on Bryan to be there! If you're a renter, don't miss this great community!
Madison Shae: Summit on Quality Hill is amazing! The staff is even better. Bryan has made the signing process so easy and smooth. I would recommend him to anyone if you are looking at Summit! He definitely needs to be the new manager :)
Lisa Keller: I’ve lived at Summit for a little over 1.5 years now, and I’m heartbroken to say I have to leave (work is transferring me out of town)! This location is incredible, and I’ve walked to work every day since I’ve moved here. It’s also within walking distance to the Power & Light District, or a quick drive (or Uber) to Westport or the Plaza. Maintenance is always quick to fix any issues I’ve had, and the amenities are great for the price. I’ve always felt safe walking around the area, too. The leasing office staff know me by name and are always so helpful! Honestly, the worst part about living here is trying to find something even remotely comparable in my new city. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a new place in Kansas City!

Craig Peters: All floors are fake wood, so if you have anyone above you, you will hear every step. Walls are thin, have said hi, to my next door neighbor through the wall. The management will do nothing for noise complaints. If security shows up at all, they don’t even know which building’s are which and the one time they did arrive it was a literal hour and a half later and they said theres nothing they can do for noise complaints. They have one dumpster for 8 buildings on the furthest part of the complex. They added a trash pick up service that you pay extra for and this means people have to leave their smelly trash in the hallway. Overall everything is cheaply built and just an awful living experience. Guarantee you will kick yourself for spending so much on a low end and poorly managed apartment.3/5/23 update: Finally moving out after 18 months here. In addition to all these things still being a problem, I have now lost over $600 in delivered packages in 3 months. The office basically said "sorry" and thats it. They openly admitted the cameras do nothing as they cannot tell who is taking packages that are not theirs. The room does not have enough secure package lockers to support 8 buildings so the room gets so packed you cant even walk into it. (not an exaggeration), you will not be able to walk in, until someone comes in and steals literally every single package, which has happen multiple times. Again no solution. The office did try a third party package delivery company. So your item arrives, and a third party has to bring it to your door... lasted about a week before that started having obvious issues, now we are back to package roulette. Good luck!

Mona Clarise: First of all, I’m not sure who they paid to make false positive reviews. Earlier this year, this place only had 2.5 stars on Google, which also correlated to the 2.5-star rating they had (and continue to have) on Yelp (go check it out).This place has really gone downhill. We have been here for several years, and initially we really enjoyed living here (despite a few small things). Every apartment complex has issues, but there were no terrible ones here… until 2022.I’m actually afraid to post my honest review for fear of retaliation, but I think it just has to be said. This year, we have had A LOT of cars and garage units get broken into, one car stolen, all of our packages stolen from the package room in a single night, and multiple catalytic converters sawed off from parked cars.Packages often went “missing” from the package room, but I cannot confirm whether or not that was a shipping carrier issue or someone with sticky fingers. However, now that the apartment complex does not want to assume any liability with packages, they have closed their package room to residents (even when we asked them not to). The Landing at Briarcliff is trying to coerce residents to use Fetch, a third-party delivery service that has terrible reviews online and terrible reviews from residents who have tried it already.Although many residents have complained about the lack of safety and security (since the crime has directly impacted residents), nothing has been done by management. No move to add security cameras or security rounding, no move to reopen the package room, and no statement even addressing the crime that’s been happening on THEIR property. The maintenance staff is great, but all the other employees are horrendous. DO NOT LIVE HERE.
Steph Man: My daughter used to live here. She lived. Loved the staff. Loved everything about the complex. Now she lives at a new address and an online order was mistakenly sent to her previous address which is the Landing at Briar Cliff. I spoke with Satara and she confirmed with the new resident that the package was still in the building so Satara told me to have my daughter come with her FOB and just go in and get it...but she turned in her FOB when she moved out so I asked that Satara go get it and take it to the office and my daughter could pick it up upon verifying her identity with office staff. Satara agreed. Now 24 hours later my daughter said the package is gone, the office not only didn't keep their word but are without concern for this unfortunate chain of events. I guess when you move your rental status and respect are canceled as well. We are talking about USPS mail. It shouldn't be treated like a missing sock.

CETERA HEATH IS A ROCKSTAR and has been so helpful getting my Fiancé’s in the perfect home prior to our upcoming wedding!The price is incredible for the quality you receive here.You can find cheaper places to live but you are gonna miss out on the quality, trust me!The speed of maintenance staff from what I have seen so far is superior to anything I’ve ever experienced in apartments!They seem to be proactive rather than Reactive!Run don’t walk, you have found your landing pad!

They rarely blow their horns (no RR crossing nearby)- Trash: valet trash just started. Before, there was 1 dumpster in the corner of the property- The package room is a bit small and regularly overcrowded with boxes- Car break ins have been an issue in the past, but I’ve noticed nightly security patrols sinceThe property is well maintained and I’ve never had a noise issue. This is a great place for the price. As someone who has lived in downtown, Hyde Park, and toured about a dozen places in between, I think that this has the best value in KC.

When I tried to confront the manager she refused to meet in person and would only call me while I was at work. Very Unprofessional.To make matters worse, this horrible excuse of an apartment complex sent me to collections after taking my full deposit. No email. No call. No letter. This collections experience happened 1 full year after I moved out.I just pray to the almighty that those who read this message pay heed to my warning. Cedtoron: Not bad. However when I moved out I went to the office to confirm the amount of my final payment. The manager worked out the number and I wrote them a check for the final amount they told me. Months later they tried to bill me another $100 without any explanation. Then they turned it over to a collection agency.
