The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center: what do users think?
ToyTay1KindOfLve Mitchell: This place is over price. It's crazy how they charge so much for people that donate free used clothes and I'm one of those people that donate clothes there. The manager is a rude heartless man. I feel bad for the homeless or people that struggling to buy clothes because they're selling it as if the items are new. When majority are donated free.
Angel Weir: This is a neat little thrift shop. My daughter and I scored a new Vans hoodie for $5, Like new checkered Vans shoes $5, and some other cool finds. The clothes are organized, the workers are friendly/helpful, and things are kept neat. I'm super happy with our finds!
Shalee Brown: I love going to thrift store and honestly salvation army is one of my favorites. This store though was just bad. They had good stuff but they want double even triple the original price. $20+ for a used hoodie with stains... $15 for a hoodie from Walmart. They need someone to come in and check these people.
Audrey Anderson: Beautiful store. Found quite a few things for my son and I. Cool place
Gerald Goins: I love this place. Loads of great finds for cheap prices!
Donna Perez: I love this place! It's a great thrift shop and like all thrift shops if you take the time to comb through the store you'll find some real gems.
Edward Clark: Love this place! Super clean and helpful staff. They have a lot of interesting things and decently priced clothes!!
Todd Cross: Amazing stuff reasonably priced. No junk in this shop! Totally worth a visit especially if you love shoes!
Michael Johnson: What a gorgeous store for a fantastic cause! A beautiful mix of contemporary & vintage clothing and home furnishings.
Samantha Johnson: Absolutely awesome place. Have excellent decorations and helpful employees. Thank you.
Jayson Meredith: Great selection and helpful staff.
Santa Claus: Overpriced & Dishonest!
James Lane: When I was shopping there secret Santa Claus came up to me and gave me $100 bill Jackson County Sheriff's Department in Missouri Highway Patrol
Bruce Kuzma: Where only the chic of the streets go for the best clothes and accessories money can't find. Browse the store find what you need to survive or that special item you have waited to appear. Yes, it's all here or will be!
Lisa M: Good prices in the as-is side of the store
Linda Drozd: The "As Is" store has great prices on furniture! I got 2 kitchen chairs, a bookshelf, a cute small wooden table & a humongous dresser ALL 5 pieces for $60!! And super nice guys loaded my SUV too!! AAA+++
Robert Varnado: Doors lock before 7.
Erin Taylor: I️ frequent this Salvation Army almost weekly, and have gotten to know many of the faces of the employees that run it. Jesus, in particular, has been tremendously helpful to me to in the past and always ask me how I️ am doing. There are always new things being rotated onto the shelves and I️ always find the place kept tidy and orderly. This is a great shop, anyone who is out looking for some small treasures should certainly make a stop by.
Zachariah Stovall: no one bothered me
Rhonda: Great bargains and friendly people. Jesus is an asset to the company.
Luis Acosta: Cerrado

Martin City ReStore - Habitat KC (Retail Location): what do users think?
Matthew Westra: If you need building or project supplies, it's good to start looking here. It's also fun to wander the aisles just looking at what they have.Definitely drop off building supplies for donation.
PAMELA CLARK: Need to get more cabinets in!
Leslie F.: I heard about this place from one of my co-workers. My husband and I are slowly renovating our home on a tight budget and we decided to come to restore to look for a ceiling light for our entry way. We managed to score a very nice brushed nickel one for $10.00! We were thrilled with our find and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely be returning!
NZ: The women that work at this facility are rather rude and snippy. I asked for help with an oversized area rug and felt constantly shut down in providing answers. Sorry to ask your help in leaving the check out area!
M D: The store in Martin City looks so much better since they got the new manager in there.Great finds, prices, and staff!
Jaime McCord: Nice place. Doesn't have quite the selection that other stores of theirs have. Still a nice and neat store.
Brent Winterberg: Can't beat the prices and the staff is very friendly. Due to the nature of the business (selling donate items) they may not have what you are looking for at the time.
Katheren Minter: What they have is decently priced and nice furniture.
Paul Rosenboom: Stop in often to catch the new finds!
Les Bro: This is a great place to stop in and grab home or business furnishings for do-it-yourself projects. The prices are reasonable.I never would have known they existed had I not heard through the grapevine. It is worth at least one walk-through.
Alana Zimmer: The leadership is great. Love Kelly and Linda.
Shannon Locke: This place always has the perfect (and perfectly inexpensive) solution to our household and renovation needs and staff is always kind and helpful. One of my favorite places to go.
majormax 37: Great place to find cheap furniture
Rae Jepsen: Interesting inventory
Gilberto De La O: Good price
Joy Kruse: I love this store i always find something wether im looking for it or not lol.
Tiffany Thomas: I found exactly what I needed, and at an excellent price! Perfection!

City Thrift Waldo: what do users think?
Poppy Kain: Just moved to Waldo and found my new happy place today!
D'on Jones: It is my favorite thrift store to shop for something new
Thandi Powell: This place is on point. I think every year they get more upscale on brands. I wish I could post all that I bought but I want to focus on the men. These shirts average $100 plus and they were on sale. Store was clean, lots of staff stocking, ringing people up, and taking donations- very busy. I like the point system they have- I saved $10 EXTRA. Everyone was helpful. This store has as many designers- can’t even get these prices online.
Claire Phillips: Why would I buy a $15 item of clothing if there are no changing rooms available?
C D: Overpriced items, unfriendly staff. Will not return.
Payton Heinze: I've found a few good things here over the years. However, I have had multiple occasions where I find unmarked items and have them tell me at the register they are not for sale.
Alex Burton: This will hopefully always be one of my holy grail spots.
S DeWitt: was very nice not real busy an bought a few sale items
Tokey Boswell: Fantastic thrifting. Really well curated store, great stuff, plenty of staff. We hit a great weekend sale and would have stayed even longer and spent more $ and time but for the out of order restroom, which was a buzz kill extreme. Will definitely be back to this gem in Waldo!
Charles Wheeler: Better than the other city thrifts though smaller. Prices a little high.
Floral Gal: I love coming to this location! The people are always friendly and they are always well stocked. They have wonderful art knickknacks and tchotchkes that are beautiful. The last time I went I was looking for work pants in black. The lady in the clothing section was very helpful and showing me all types of clothing in my size. I was also able to combine my points from my old phone number onto my new phone number giving me a 10% discount. I always receive texts about sales And available discounts. But it is not overwhelming. Are usually have a 50% off tag and a 25% off tax special going on in store. There is plenty of parking. I have bought blankets and pillows and curtains here as well as great bolts of fabric. It is a nice thrift store to shop. Thank you!
Bob Anthony: This is an excellent thrift store with constantly changing inventory. Very helpful and ultra friendly staff gives this location the 5 stars. Plenty of parking. Easy to find . Weekly sales. Did I mention great prices as well as weekly sales! Don't miss it when you are shopping for almost anything including lots of clothes and just about everything else.
John Briscoe: Very great experience 😊
Cole Ehmke: Well organized, nicely priced.
Jeanette Jones: Love this place and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
clownmilf666: decent thrift store, has a lot of Forever 21, Shein and Banana Republic. prices are fair but can be high.
Savana L: This is a really cute place to go with family and friends because I always leave with great finds. It’s placed in a great area too.
Vince Peeler: I have been shopping here for many years. In the past 5 years that's a couple years Pre-Covid your prices have increased dramatically. And very very very few good finds. I have been buying and selling for 45 years.I know donations at a few CIty Thrift locations. Lotsa stuff.. but no more high end stuff? I can and prove and tell you why soon. And how does the price of Free Product go up 135%? I have personally seen 22 cars and suv's donate several items that's many bags and boxes of donations in 1 hour? So in a good percentage of the fresh stuff is delivered free to you. So...men's clothing it good.
Trish Leigh: Love it here there people that work there are nice and vary helpful and there a lot of cool stuff there and ir lots if sales going on
Userun- Named: They aight.
kim mcintire: They have good stuff to choose from, the ladies working there are awesome!

Goodwill North Oak: what do users think?
Brenna Toliver: Dressing rooms haven't been open in years.
Jason Smith: Today was the second visit in a row where there was no one at the registers to check people out. Three people ahead of me standing waiting for someone, anyone, to help them pay for their purchases. I finally put my selected items down and walked away empty handed. I won’t be back.
Precious Good: Terrible prices and clothing. Everything is so worn and used it should be in the trash. Not even for a dollar would I buy some of these clothes.
Nicole S DeVriendt: They have so many items to choose from. Very large store. Employees are friendly. Some of the prices are very high for a thrift store. Items are put out daily. You never know what you will find.
Beth White: Store management needs a change and I am not talking about the sweet blonde lady with glasses I think her name was Len. When I was here the other week, I witnessed personnel fighting in front of customers. Going here is not advised because the selection is limited and they sell half of their merchandise online. An ex-employee informed me that the establishment's round-ups are used as tax deductions rather than benefiting the community and helping people seek jobs as Goodwill missions claims. The worker I'm referring to retired last year. The staff is friendly and sweet, however they should look for a new job because this establishment forbids them from being seen. I hope something changes soon so the company doesn't lose all of its hard workers.
Dakota Smith: Prices are good but selection for men has always been very sparse.
Juju Bee: Clean and well organized.
Kristin Kandt: O.m.g. At first, this place does not look like it has much to offer when walking in - is small, maybe could be a little cleaner and selection looks limited - it's not big, bright and shiny like Savers, for instance. But once you start looking - there are treasures to be had. And the prices - wowowowowowo - can't beat them! I found great clothes, glass items, stuff animals for my relatives (and one for me lol), purses, and one pair of shoes, as well as a huge piece of signed art - all for 35. I will never shop retail - I will always come here first. This was so unexpected. You really do have to look - a casusal browse and you will be disappointed and miss out on their stuff - as you have to really look at the racks and some of their stuff. It took me several walk throughs to realize they had more than I thought and I had to make myself leave so as not to hoard stuff home. The staff there was no very nice, too. I can not say enough. Nicest two young women there the day I went that you will ever meet. They worked on prices and talk to you and will help you with anything. I had the best experience here - really and truly. It was a wonderful shopping experience and I will definitely go back. One of kind things for sure. Best thing is that what you buy - all your money goes to charity. This is obviously not true for Savers which is profit. So it's a win-win here. Definitely coming back.
Eric Jones: Cashier was surly and mumbledStore was clean and well kept
Charles Wheeler: Some prices higher than I like but still find good items.
Donna Wright: A clean and organized store. Helpful and pleasant employees. Plus they have dressing rooms!
Ryan Ele: Lots of stuff not marked with a price and this is one of the most expensive goodwills I’ve been to
Constance Hines: I like shopping here they always have something unique & always a wide variety of attire, footwear, sleep ware , accessories purses & much much more! Reasonably priced as well, clean & organized establishment & friendly workers who don't mind helping you if you are in need of it!
Legacy Logistics: Nice place
Tina Keith: Very clean neat and organized
Brandon Mulligan: I wasted my time shopping here only to find changing rooms closed and the store does not provide payment refunds.I was hoping to save money on some mens dress pants but I guess not…
Amanda Garber: Lots of nice things here! Prices were great!
Jay Pointer: Pretty bad when you call ask if they take furniture, they say in good shape. Then you get there and they're expecting it to be brand spanking new!!! I was coming to donate something, I didn't know I had to buy new stuff to make you all happy? Could have been you were just too lazy to unload it? You think?
norma najera: Love this place! The things in there are reasonable priced because they have alot of quality items...and they have a money back program that you can sign up for ...The ppl working there are always very kind, helpful and courteous ❤️
Russell Primeaux: Very much as expected.
Corey B: Pricing has become insane since the new CEO took over. Used to be a good store. No one is coming to a thrift store to drop 600 dollars on a table and chairs set.Edit: Its a month later and this chair and table set are still there

Goodwill Leawood Donation Center: what do users think?
sara collier: It was super clean and aesthetically pleasing, but for something that claimed to be boutique, there were tons of low end brands (target, forever21) priced the same high prices. Nothing less than $12. The men’s jeans were all tagged the wrong sizes as well. Not impressed.
kira weiss: Went to go check this place out because I’ve never seen a boutique goodwill and I was surprised that they had the nerve to charge $12.99 for no boundaries Walmart brand shorts.. what? A lot of the clothes were outdated and every single item in there is 12.99 and up. Do your self a favor and support local small businesses. Whoever owns this store should truly be ashamed of themselves. You can go to any other goodwill location and get all the same brands at a regular goodwill for 5.99. Plz do not support this.
Erika Wooley: This is where they sell the expensive items of clothing that were donated. If you wear xx small, then it would be right up your alley. They do not have furniture or fixer-upper deals. There is no need for me to go back.
Lisa Laney: This Goodwill Boutique is amazing! The owner and people that work there are so friendly and nice! They had a great variety of clothing sizes and everything was so organized. I found several items that I love and I plan on going back soon to shop some more.
George Pettigrew: Small shop with very limited items for men.
Matthew Westra: Prices were high for random, used objects and clothes.
Jessica Halford-Crapo: Just found out about this store!! It's great! It is set up like a boutique. Very cute. Also have cute things for a reasonable price!
lisa vanderheiden: This Goodwill is boutique, interesting concept, underwhelming execution. It’s clean. You won’t find anything for less than 12 dollars and their pricing feels nearly arbitrary. I understand paying more for Ellen Tracy, but here target brands, H&M and forever 21 clothes are priced the same as much higher quality labels. Also, no plus size representation. I found nothing larger than XLs and one dress in a size 12. As a boutique thrift shop it’s basic, as a goodwill it sucks the fun out of finding a deal. It’s a reseller with a specific aesthetic. Think Kirkland and Anne Taylor had a love child. Some people will love it, but if you love the thrill of the hunt and unique finds, you won’t get that here.
CHRISTIAAN LEYVA-SHAGOVAC: Nice and easy drop off!
Mm Dela: Over priced for used furniture and electronics.
Mirage031: Upon my arrival, Crystal explained the layout of the boutique, Goodwill's sustainability programs, their steps towards inclusivity, and her positive experiences as an employee; she was more than happy to take the time to answer all of my questions. Christy was also incredibly friendly. As for the store itself, it is arranged beautifully; I have never walked into a Goodwill and considered it aesthetically pleasing before. When it comes to the higher prices, I am on the fence. On one hand, Goodwill has received a lot of backlash for continuing to raise their prices, so the boutique concept is a bit counterintuitive. On the other hand, there was a pair of brand new Express dress pants for $14.99, which retails close to $70, so that is still a good deal. If you're on a budget, keep in mind, you may not find anything below $11.99 at this location. Also, it appears this location does not have weekly tag color sales because all of the tags are white. In regard to the selection, I found several fun items from red Frye ankle boots to a plum suit dress, all in excellent condition; my compliments to the curator. Unfortunately, none were in my size, which is normal at a thrift shop - hit or miss. Usually, boutiques are small, but have multiple sizes available for each piece, so location size is not an issue. When there is only one of each item and it's a small store, a lot more luck is needed to find something that fits. Overall, it was fun to look around and and nice to not have to worry so much about accidentally buying something damaged.
Jaime McCord: Very organized and neat. It's more like a boutique than a resale shop. Very nice
will c: Great place to donate and shop
Kathleen Callahan: This store is amazing. So many high end things. Customer service is great especially Cristy. She is so fun to work with and just gives amazing service. She is credit to your organization.
Whitney Jones (Priceless): Amazing experience.
Cindy Snell: I made my first trip to this store today and was very pleased with my experience. The merchandise was clean and displayed as if in a high-end a boutique store, and the pricing was reasonable considering the superior quality of the clothing and the condition of it (versus the original retail pricing). The sales associates were friendly, approachable, and extremely knowledgeable about the mission of Goodwill in their own store as well as in the broad sense of of the different programs that are available through Goodwill to the general public. The store also offers two days during the week in which shoppers are be able to receive additional discounts on purchases. Be sure to check this 'gem' out if you are looking for quality clothing, shoes, accessories, or miscellaneous home decor items.
Kaitlin Alexandra: Only carry men's and women's clothing, very limited selection of kids, no baby items beyond receiving blankets/sleep sacks when I went. Just FYI. Goodwill OP has racks of kids/baby clothing.
Susan Wood: Extremely pricey. Picked up a small statuette, thought it was $12.50, reasonable for something with pen marks, but they want $21.50 + tax! The clothes are set up by color, not sizes. Sizes not marked on tags, which makes it almost impossible to shop without looking through each piece. This place is a "nope" for me.
Lori Robben: Love shopping here and Christy has been so helpful.
robert eickhoff: Love the store very nice and classy
Heidi Corzine: I was really excited we got a goodwill boutique. I've been to them in Maryland and Florida so I was really excited. So its small however, they do carry name brand women's professional wear, sports wear, casual women's, boots, boat shoes, flats, heels, tennis shoes, men and women sizes. They just opened so I don't want to be harsh but maybe give them time to get really nice stuff. I honestly find the daytime things at regular goodwill and the price isn't as high. However if your looking for a handbag this would be a good first stop if your looking for a deal. The staff was really nice and I did buy a few things so there are deals here. Definitely a place I will stop at on the reg.

Hillcrest Thrift Shop- Picture Hills: what do users think?
Kendra Walden: I want to give a big shout out to Todd and Keefer, they came over to my in laws house yesterday (6/17/2023) to pick up a house full of stuff as we have had the task of getting it cleaned out since my father in law passed away, and my mother in law went into assisted living. They were great, and when we asked them if they could lug a treadmill up a flight a stairs and into a dumpster for us, they didn't even bat an eye, they just did it! We aren't young anymore ourselves, so I'm pretty sure that's why they we're so willing to help us out, and I can't tell you how much we appreciated that. Thank you so, so much Todd and Keefer, you we're absolutely awesome!! 😁
Todd Jr Nave: This thrift store is huge. We went about 30 minutes before closing and I barely made it half way through the store before having to make my way to the front. I found some awesome dress shirts that appeared brand new, for only $6.50 each. This is definitely a place worth bringing the family and would be fun to look through every few weeks.
sjstsarah: Best thrift store around, I find so many treasures (at great prices) each time and everyone working there is super friendly. I’d say this is the best location out of Liberty and the other two locations down the hill.
Russell Primeaux: Nice place to browse. With possibilities abound.
Nancy Green: Great sales today! Sad that the rewards program is discontinued.
Ramon Armendariz: Puedes comprar ropa calzado muebles herramienta todo de segunda mano a muy buen precio
John Geiger: Found a used pair of computer speakers here. The store is well laid out. Would recommend for used clothing, kitchen items and furniture.
Christopher Yoder: One of the best thrift shops in the northland. They have half priced clothes on Wednesdays. They always keep the place very clean which most thrift places aren't as clean as this place. The staff there are really friendly. They also usually have pretty good furniture.
A F: Always find good things here. Large selection. Great prices!
Charles Wheeler: Good finds. Good staff
Akimi Weller: Love their Wednesday deal 50% all clothing. Sadly they took away their loyalty program. Lots of options from furniture, women's clothing, shoes, kids clothing, toys, men's clothing, books, blankets, pillows, seasonal items, pet items, household items, jewelry, purses, everything !
Christopher Acosta: Great to be back thrifting again.
Dr. Tara R. Nesbitt: There are some really nice gems here!
Jenna Carlock: One of my favorite thrift stores, clean and organized!
Laurel Hoog: Amazing thrift store. Efficient cashiers. Well laid out floor and very good prices.
Bryan Richmond: Good prices and good people
Jamie Tilden: I loved this store. They have everything and still keep it tidy.
Sheryl Dinkel: Everything is well organized and clean and typically the volunteers are pretty helpful. 😁
Toni Dierks: I was trying to shop here tonight, I come here every Wednesday and I came a half hour before closing. Between the times of having 15-10 minutes to shop, I was rudely asked by an employee 3 times if I was finished shopping, she kept following me and asking me even though there were other shoppers still shopping “but I was the only one.” I felt very uncomfortable and like I was being harassed. I was just trying to mind my own business and pick out some clothes for an important event tomorrow. Because of how rude the employee was, I put my stuff back and I didn’t purchase anything. I love shopping here, and supporting the mission, but I’ve never been treated that way before ever. Questioning coming back.
Brian: They always have a great selection and friendly staff and it is a very clean and well kept store.
sharon strathman: Went with friend to find nice furiture. She found a very nice Sofa-sleeper and a Love seats set for wonerful price!!!!!
