Absolute shame that they knocked down a classic part of Plaza architecture for someone who has decided to pull out. That's going to be a hard recovery and I suspect that the soul of the plaza is going to continue to get sucked out of the place by developers. Update: sure enough. Plaza lighting really sucked this year.
Les Bro: It is always nice to get to the Plaza. It's a great date night place. I love it in the summertime in the evenings. The fountains are beautiful and romantic.There are lots of restaurants and stores to stroll through during the day. If you are visiting Kansas City, the Plaza is a great place to go. You will see all types of people, especially in the summertime. It is a great place to people watch.Unattended teens have a 9:00 pm, police enforced curfew.

Carter Taylor: It’s a known issue that the restroom accommodations are a huge issue and that the lack of publicly accessible facilities is a major failure of planning, a barrier to those who have disabilities and discriminatory against women. It does not matter if it’s you or your small child, they will not let you use the restrooms in many stores and even restaurants. They’ll send you down the street and you have to hope that the one place that lets others use the bathroom will be open, have no line, and not be out of order like they often are when handling that volume of people. These policies may have been put in place to prevent the unhoused from being in the area, but they majorly impact other groups as well.

Austin craft: It was crowded because of the festival going on this weekend but overall everything was great. Took the family to sea life and afterwards had lunch at Curry in a Hurry. Which was the highlight of my trip.

Frecky Lewis: I had to update my review after visiting Crown Center again last weekend with my family. I'm not sure if the owners of the mall know this, but in order to sell things your stores have to be OPEN. The stores in this mall all close at 6:00 pm on Saturday. We had just finished our dinner at Fritz's in the mall, and at 5:45 we walked over to their special "Fairytale" exhibit that was advertised as being open until 6:00. We found the door locked and couldn't get in. When another family came out through the door we poked our heads in and were told by the desk attendant "It's closed." I asked if the signs were wrong and pointed out that they said the exhibit was open until 6, and she said "No, the signs are right, but we stop letting people in before that." She had no hint of friendliness or sympathy for our two obviously very disappointed children. To the mall management: If you close your exhibit at 5:40, don't advertise that it is open until 6 -- or at least, advertise that fact clearly. Knowing the stores would be closing in 15 minutes, we wandered up to the toy store on the top floor and were told even before entering the store "Just so you know, we close soon." I assured them that we wouldn't take up any of their time by spending money there. We made a few quick passes down the aisle at 5:50 and it was clear that the employees had no interest in anything but shooing everyone out. Perhaps they could have said "We close shortly, but is there anything we can help you find quickly?" Nope. No interest in making sales. Amazingly, there were countless other families wandering around the mall and surrounding area at 6:15 looking for something to do, and I guarantee many of them would have spent money in these stores. People say retail is dying; after visiting Crown Center, I can attest that retail isn't just dying, it is committing suicide.
Norma Patterson: Crown Center is the perfect place to do your shopping. The selection of stores is great, the prices are competitive. Plus, the atmosphere is always welcoming.

Thomas Turner: We recently purchased two rugs from Beacon KC and the process was a bit, self-inflicted, challenging. Virginia and Kassidy were so kind, patient and gracious throughout the entire experience. Every question, concern or need was handled quickly and in a manner that made us feel we were their only customer, even when they were busy. Virginia even made a house call to drop a sample off so we could see it in our living room. Wow, that is customer service at its finest. We were blown away!

All the old cat/bear cages are great ideas for reuse, free and easy to throw smaller mnkeys, cats and birds in there. But it's 90% identical to my childhood in the 90's and I left that area disappointed. Felt like they were all relegated to that area, while the spotlight shines on the more popular animals.

Matt Tessier: I hate to leave a three star review. It’s an impressive zoo, and we saw some cool things, but the ride situation is out of control. It seems like everything is a paid “add-on” once you get inside after having paid a high admission price. The train ride was probably 100 yards and the “tram ride” takes you like 150 ft, and after you pay for that, you find out it’s not round trip! Then the sky ride is extra money…then the carousel is extra money….then the boat ride is extra money…then feeding the stingrays is extra money. Felt extorted once inside. Very sad to leave such a review for my wife’s childhood zoo, because there are some good memories there, but the ride situation is unfortunate

Alexis Donnelly: First thing I noticed walking in this zoo was trash in the turtle pond. Was a bit unsettling. There was a lot more than I would have liked to see. Most animals looked unhappy. My biggest pet peeve was the straws they give you for the slushies. Someone in corporate really needs to know about that. The tiny straws are not appropriate for large slushies at all. The guy working the ski-lift could use an attitude change. Soley giving 4 stars based off of memories with family. Seriously though the straw thing was a visible problem for everyone who had one.

And she went above and beyond to help get a missing part to the chandelier to me. She communicated with me via text just to update me and brought me the piece to pick up the next day. Patricia Trevino: I’m a fairly new truck owner of 2 years.After these past 2 years of owning a truck I decided I should probably purchase some necessities/accessories.A couple days ago I walked into the store having very little knowledge of spray liner, a cover and side steps.I spoke with Grant about what I “wanted”.He went through some of the items & info pretty fast.Of course veteran truck owners would’ve caught on quicker.So I restarted the conversation.I “need” something easy for my tiny, 4’10 active 75 year old mom to get into the truck. Not pricy, but I want it to look good.I “need” a cover that’s easy on me with little to no maintenance and will best protect my items during travel. Again, not too pricy.Spray liner was already understood.I knew the quality of the job would only be known after the job is done.We went outside he peeked at my truck and gave me his opinion on what to buy.I was pleased with it so I took it.My truck was done well within the time frame they gave me.After I got home I decided to really inspect the spray liner.I had to call them back to tell them I loved the job they did.I love the way my truck looks!Customer service was great in person & over the phone.My rookie mistake, not doing this sooner.I’ll definitely be a repeat costumer…maybe some new rims in the very near future.

Had my car towed to them, they got me back on the road by early afternoon within a few hours and were able to get me back on 70 to go home. And for minimal cost they did amazing work with great speed, I got to take a bike ride while they assessed the damage and would they would have to do to fix it. My clinical eyes and clinical ears are always with me even if im off duty as a nurse. LolsSo last night after the musical, when i was on the ramp to join I-70, i started to hear flapping noise. And it got louder while i was at 70mph. So i concluded, it was related to speed.Today, i went to this autoshop!People can easily deceive me. I dont know anything about cars! Lols im so ready to pay whatever amount just to make sure no one will get hurt while im the one behind the wheels.So i Called them and was immediately told that i can bring my car anytime.Didnt wait for so long and they took Snow inside..Probably, after 30 minutes, they told me my car is done. They have tested and all safety features are good. And they tried everything but they were not able to find anything related to the flapping sound.And, best part: they didnt ask for any fee.They can easily charge me with 50 dollars and i would even pay 50 plus 20% tip.
