He is kind, patient and listens to his patients. Also his staff is top notch. It is refreshing to go to a dentist who’s knee jerk reaction isn’t just to recommend Invisalign. I am always greeted with a smile and the office has a small town feel. So so happy with this practice!

Dr. Bill Brown’s professional expertise and calm demeanor is complimented by his top notch staff and comfortable, easily accessible offices.Since their beginning in 1948 our family has chosen the dentistry practice’s of Dr. Bill Brown Sr. and subsequently our Dr. Bill Brown Jr. Fortuitously, my father shared Dr. Brown Sr.’s office building and it was a given that Dr. Brown would be our dentist... thank goodness because his predecessor was of the mindset that local anaesthesia wasn’t necessary when he fixed our baby teeth cavities… pain receptors weren't fully developed in children back then. There is no pain in the offices of Dr. Brown, and miracles were worked way back when. The Dr. Brown’s took care of my original set of teeth which were too few, too small, and too pointed, prompting my family to call me “Fang”.Throughout the years, acquaintances with all sorts of dental horror stories were rescued when we recommended Dr. Brown, including my husband’s teeth and his mom’s, all to the good. When living outside the KC area, there was no question but that I had to come home to the dentist, so to my daughter from Brooklyn, it was a no-brainer.Recently a radio program made me think of Dr. Brown and his staff and admire them all the more. “Handel On The Law” is hosted by Bill Handel who provides, “Marginal legal advice, where you are told you have no case.” I thought of Dr. Brown (both father and son) and how my Mom adored them and not only because they saved her teeth, gums and jaws, but because they never stopped being kind and considerate.Unlike the case described on the radio program about a 90 plus year old woman, who after having attended the same dentist for years was denied services because of mobility issues. She still had teeth she wanted taken care of but obviously the disinclination of dentist and office staff to find a solution would indicate they felt less than family towards her. Not so Dr. Brown and his sympathetic, innovative staff. Mom continued getting her teeth checked and cleaned through her 91st birthday, she died at 92. Thought not privy to the particulars on how all this was achieved, they got it done to Mom’s satisfaction and that was all that mattered.Not only is Dr. Brown the best regular dentist you could ever find but he is also expert in sculpting veneers.In Sept last year I asked if anything could be done with my two front, too small teeth. Veneers were the answer, applied and sculpted with an inspired touch. If “Art” is, “The expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power” than Bill Brown is a self-assured artist. Emotionally I was amazed, “Brilliant” and “Beautiful” were affirmative comments from my kids, and it wasn’t that expensive, I don’t have dental insurance, and it didn’t take long, an hour maybe. It is a little unnerving when Dr. Brown has to stare at your mouth and face periodically during the sculpting process. Like an artist he has to stand back with a practiced eye to see the full picture before his vision of your personalized perfection is achieved. Kandi Riffle: Went there and first experience was good. Afterward I had fillings needed to take place. I left with skin on my gums raw and remove around the tooth. It was bruised purple for a long while. Not only that but what should have been only an hour time at max took 2 hours because she kept leaving to deal with others. She also arrived late. A year and a half- 2 yrs later that tooths filling started pulling away and the tooth cracked. Seems she didn't get all the cavity out and she didn't set the filling properly. also the novacaine wore off and I felt all the drilling at the end. I now have had to have it capped and almost a root canal. Another filling she did is falling out as well. Do not go to her if you value your teeth.

TIM Beach: The temporary hygienist was very friendly but was very slow.The Doctor, on the other hand, was horrible. Never introduced himself, didn’t ask me ANYTHING, was rude and barely looked at my teeth. That was it. I had been there for 50 minutes and still didn’t have my teeth cleaned or anything else.I wouldn’t recommend this guy to my dog.

Going to the dentist has always made me nervous, but from the first appointment I’ve always been put at ease. Carly Jo is the best hygienist: she’s easy to talk to, she remembers details about my life that we talked about, she doesn’t try to talk to me while her hands are in my mouth and she’s honest with me. The dentists there (I’ve had the pleasure of having work done by both of them) are efficient and so kind. They knew I had anxiety about pain and they made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I would definitely recommend Liberty Dental Care.

I kept going back for them to adjust my teeth but bite feels uneven and didn’t want to keep making visits. There is a lot of sensitivity on my right side. Dentist said it should go away within a few months but been having hard time biting. I do not recommend for getting fillings at least for my personal experience.Update: bite feels uneven

Max Overshiner: Dr. Fleming is an excellent dentist. I switched to Crossroads Dentistry after my prior denist put 12 messed up fillings in my teeth. Dr. Fleming takes extra time to ensure fillings are of a similar shape your tooth's original structure. He and his staff are all genuinely caring individuals who take their role and your care seriously. They go out of their way to endure you will be billed fairly by your insurance provider and of course that you receive appropriate care for your issues.Don't bother looking around. If Crossroads Dentistry is in your insurance provider's network, use them for your dental needs. Their expertise and professionalism is among Kansas City's best, if not the best.

Brandon Smith: I was saddened and disappointed my time in your office went so poorly. The office itself is neatly designed and the music was playing at an appropriate volume. But my encounters with the staff were memorable only for how awful they were. To be specific, both sets of assistants were being trained by other, more seasoned hygienists. When I was taken back for the first portion of my appointment, I was subjected to the most painful bitewing experience in memory. I blame much of this on the fact that it seemed as though the young woman administering the X-rays was brand new. In my humble opinion, bitewings should not be administered by a trainee in the office. Aren't there schools for this? The entire X-ray process took an exorbitant amount of time, which may be due to the fact that a trainee was working with me. When this portion of my appointment was done I thought I'd remain in the same chair and the dentist would meet with me to go over the particulars. Dr. Fleming did sit with me, but only momentarily because taking the pictures of my teeth had not been completed. He left and the trainee and veteran returned to complete what he asked. Then when THAT was complete I was asked to return to the waiting room where I would be called upon for the cleaning. After 15 minutes of waiting I was called back and was told I'd be given another set of bitewings before the cleaning process could begin. I informed this woman (who it turns out is a trainee as well) that I have already had this procedure completed. She was confused but then did some research and proceeded to tell me the mistake was a simple one because she had confused me for another patient, with the same name. In retrospect, I don't believe her. The cleaning was hurriedly finished because I was becoming visibly agitated. I don't view the cleaning as complete, though, because she never flossed! The popcorn kernel that was stuck between my teeth since the prior night was eventually removed by me with a flosser when I left the office. After two hours I left extremely disappointed and do not have any plans of returning.

Twila Moore: My recent trip to have my teeth cleaned wasn’t the best experience.I went in on Friday, 12/16/22 for my six month cleaning and the hygienist was very pushy. I explained to her that the tools she was using were causing me a great deal of pain.I asked for her to please stop, as I wasn’t able to tolerate the pain any longer. She refused to stop, but responded with, “ you have gingivitis and if I don’t remove it all you can basically get gum disease and develop serious complications from it”. I then told her that, I don’t believe that I have gingivitis, but old glue on my teeth from having worn braces many years prior.The hygienist, acted as if I offended her by saying that she knows the difference between gingivitis and glue. She also wasn’t very sanitary when handling my cleaning, as she was touching other things and then going back and forth between my cleaning. After she finished and I meet with the Dentist, he was pleasant. I don’t think I will return because of my overall experience.

I noticed the front desk lady picking her nose and touching things up front in the waiting room, then going to the back, scratching between her legs and handing the doctor something. I made sure she didn't come into my room. On the same visit, they pulled the wrong tooth out of someone's mouth. DO NOT GO HERE !

Red Roses: Dental corner on 87th Street, KCMO. Would rate it a zero if I could. Went in for teeth cleaning appointment, came out a few hours later with no cleaning! They took a bunch of xrays and told me that they will send an authorization to my insurance for "deeper cleaning" which of course, cost more. They had total disregard for my time they completely wasted. This was after taking a bunch of xrays a couple of months prior to this visit. I have never had this experience, ever, anywhere else. Needless to say, I am switching clinics.
