Empire Dance Academy: what do users think?
Gregory Williams: I love Empire!! The owners have put their heart and souls into building something special for Kansas City, and it really shows. This is a special group of people who are wholly committed to the growth and development of their students.
kelly pfannenstiel: My son has been going to Empire for several years and we are blown away every day by the talented staff. Everyone is so encouraging and accepting. The level of professionalism is unmatched. Best place to dance for serious dancers.
Natalee Merola: I’ve been going to Empire for a little over 2 years on a consistent basis. I love taking class here! I’m a professional actor and singer who’s looking to strengthen her dancing skills, and since I started coming here, I’ve improved so much! My favorite class is Kenny’s Thursday night hip hop class because not only does he give us top notch and high-level choreography, he also offers real industry knowledge such as how to do the little things in an audition that will increase your chances of booking a job. One of my favorite aspects about Empire overall, however, is the positive atmosphere. I’ve been to many studios where everyone is out to be the best in the class and tear others down, but that’s not the case here. We all encourage each other, want to see people succeed, and most importantly, HAVE FUN!
Andrew Chambers: Empire Dance Academy are consummate professionals. From the way they treat their students to the way professional dancers are regarded. They are a true asset to our entertainment/theatre community Their professionalism is evident in any and all projects they take on. Highly recommend!
Shay Estes: I was recently the technical Director/stage manager/lead audio person on a 10 day production of Moulin Rouge. Empire Dance Academy provided the dancers and choreography and their sister company That’s Entertainment provided the actors/singers and produced the overall event. Both Ashlee and Kenny were kind, professional, so organized, and and an absolute joy to work with. During the run, we got multiple compliments on the choreography, and everything ran smoothly and like clockwork. I would absolutely encourage anyone to hire these people for a production.
Bridget Sanderson: Excellent and inclusive studio. I never felt unwelcome or not encourage even though I was probably a decade older and out of shape than the rest of the dancers.
Jeremy Collins: I Hired That’s entertainment / Empire to choreograph a birthday party performance with absolute non-dancer noobs. They were professional, supremely talented and kind to us beginners. An absolute pleasure to see them continue to thrive, shine and invest in their community. My daughter adores Kenny, and there’s a good reason why- he’s a salt of the earth good human.
David Morgans: Kenny and his team worked with us to choreograph and rehearse a show. I’m not a dancer and he was patient, compassionate, and empathetic to my skill level and always willing to meet myself and others where we were and make us shine! Talented teachers, dancers, and choreographers abound - a true gem of our artist community!
Allie Eads: Very professional. Every time I’ve taken a class here the teachers have always taken the time to explain everything throughly. Passion oozes from Empire!
Maranda Oster: Empire was a great experience for my girls. Zanna gained so much in technique and the opportunities were so great. Kenny is very encouraging and really cares about these kids! She was having some health issues, and had to take a break but I hope she can go back to it soon. They strive for excellence and don’t take less. ✨
Julie Pope: Love every experience at Empire! Professionalism across the board!
Julie Baird: LOVE the classes I have taken at Empire! They are the best place to train as a professional or pre professional dancer in KC!
Brian Adkins: Kenny and Ashley have been outstanding members of the KC dance and theatre community for decades. Their work ethic, passion and love for the Arts shines strong in all that they do. Kansas City is lucky to have such a wonderful studio!
Rebecca Davidson: To the owners I have never been to ur academy and I have watch ur videos and know Kenny for a along time and I know that u both would do the right way of seeing ur company though and if some decide not to follow the rules of the contract or agrees to ur standards they should be remove from the situation for the safety of others in the academy. That is sad that people attack and don't see that they are the ones that did wrong. Sending prayers and hugs ur way. I use to dance and I loved it thanks for being great and loving people.
Julie Shaw: Every performance I’ve seen from students from Empire has been incredible. Their choreography is fantastic and their professionalism is top notch. I’d highly recommend anyone to take classes there. Every instructor is the best around, and Kenny runs one of the best dance studios in the city.
Morgan Lynn Sterrett-Roate: Kind good people! Would recommend for any event!
Kristen Ruth: My daughter was enrolled in the young artists program from age 3-5. She learned so much from her instructors! More importantly, she gained confidence in herself. Her instructors were patient, loving and FUN. Kenny and Ashley expect the highest level of professionalism from both their dancers AND their instructors, even from a young age. Highly recommend for even the littlest of dancers!
Katie Gilchrist: From inception to execution, Empire Dance Academy is an eminent institution in KC. Built on integrity and passion, this company shows up and shows out. I’ve worked with them on innumerable professional gigs, and would continue to recommend them on bookings in the future.
Dusty Wooldridge: What an amazing company! Thank you so much, for so many years of hard work, dedication, and TALENT! You have an incredible team of professionals. When you are in need of true talent, for any event, look no further than Empire Dance Academy.
Talya Groves: Kenny and Ashley are two of the very best people to work with in KC!! Everything that Empire is associated with is of top quality— highly recommend! I’ve worked with them myself on different creative projects and it has been a stellar experience 100% of the time
Elizabeth Garnos: Empire and their staff are the best in the business! I love being able to drop into classes whenever I'm back in town and always get an awesome class with fantastic choreography! Would highly recommend for any dancers!

Dance Fit Flow: what do users think?
Kate Jones: Thought the contemporary class was for beginners. It was not. Hard to hear instructor over next door’s music. Still fun to move your body and try! Will try a different class next time.
Meike Saip: The best time you will find in Kansas City ❤️
Dusti Lyon Preul: amazing!! love the teachers and positive vibe ✨️
Dottie Graham: Everyone at DFF welcomes you with a smile, but I keep returning for Dani's Salsa class on Thursdays at 5:15pm. I started taking this class in mid -June and it's one of the bright spots of my week. You'll enter the room and leave everything but Salsa outside, you'll let yourself go out of your comfort zone, you'll meet strangers that become acquaintances and friends, you'll practice your basic step all over your house in between classes. Dani and the folks who join this class are what make it so special. Come dance Salsa with us!
Christy Mccarthy: Dance Fit Flow is truly amazing! I came from out of town to be in KC for a day, and I instantly knew I had to come take a class at Dance Fit Flow. Let me tell you, I am so glad I did! Dance Fit Flow is an incredibly welcoming environment, with amazing teachers! I took Kaylas mixtape fitness class and I LOVED it. Her class was great and was such a positive and uplifting environment! Being a dancer my whole life, having a studio that allows you to keep dancing, even after the intense dance days are in the past, is amazing! I can’t wait to try out a dance class, next time I’m in town! Love this place!
Sarah C: Went for a birthday party. This was so much fun. Liza was our instructor and she was so fun and sweet! We learned a dance routine showcasing the birthday girl. The studio is so interesting. Such a fun experience!
Stephanie Bigby: Positive:Professionalism
Miguel Angel: Those girls know how to hit the dance floor
Melenia Ahmadi: Absolutely love this studio. Kayla especially is absolutely amazing.
Laurie Williams: Critical:Communication
Jasmine Thompson: Dance Fit Flow was a great experience. The instructor was welcoming and full of energy. The class was upbeat and kept me moving in a fun way. The class wasn't intimidating and is fit for anyone regardless of the skill level. I will definitely be back!
Becky Brown: Positive:Quality,ValueFun class with unique exercises (kickboxing combined with dancing), got in a great workout. Friendly instructor who offered accommodations throughout the class for anyone who needed to adjust or take a break and plenty of room to social distance. Definitely coming back!
Amy Paulson: That class was a blast!!! I'm much older (and out of shape) than the other people in the class and would have been mortified to do it in the studio. But at home I could just do my best and laugh at myself. I've already recommended this to a friend. I love the virtual option because it's inexpensive, convenient, and a really fun time! Thank you for offering this option! I haven't seen this with any other studio!
Marissa Jar: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueEven through COVID, this place is such a great environment! I have fun, I learn so much, and I know I am safe with their serious safety protocols with the pandemic! I would recommend DFF to anyone and everyone who wants a little stress reliever during the week!
Kala Hille: So much fun, no pressure, and Brooke was so encouraging and sweet!
Sarina Soligo: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueWe took a hip hop class for my best friends bachelorette party and had the best time! Brooke was so energetic and encouraging throughout the whole process. Everyone had so much fun and it was the highlight of the night. I can’t wait to go back for another girls night!
Annie Goodell: I LOVE Dance Fit Flow!! The classes are fun and the instructors are super nice. And I love that the atmosphere and environment of the entire studio is welcoming & inclusive.
Cecilia Pedroza: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI love the environment it's welcoming to dancers and non dancers. I am so happy I found a place to unwind and have some fun after a long day of work. Alyssa is a great teacher with great patience (for us newbies) and really keeps us motivated. I think her filming helps me stay committed and wanting to dance my little heart out.
Sunshine Lombre: Positive:Professionalism,ValueIt's a nice facility. Lots of class options. Friendly instructors too.
Aida Halaoui: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityThe instructor was very professional and nice. A good teacher. It was clean and social distance was taken into consideration.
Aimee Morton: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value

ICE STUDIOS SCHOOL OF DANCE: what do users think?
Amaya Robinson: I loved these dance classes I used go there in 2018 I want to come back but yk idk about my mom
Rubenia Crain: My kids love to move around alot so this is good to get their energy out
Allen Byrd: My daughter is excelling here. She has fun and is always excited to go.
Kiara Robinson: Ice studios has been a blessing for my daughter. She is 4 and has excelled so much. She already is learning how to do backflips in gymnastics and this is her first year doing anything like that.I just love watching her grow. I love the confidence that they are building in my child.
Jazmine Harris: There were a number of likes that granted outweighed the dislikes. The price was good for what we received and comparable to other dance studies. I think it’s important to know if your child wants to dance or if they may have disabilities whether autistic, high anxiety, difficulty focusing, or just struggle following directions in general. I feel like this was a struggle area with the studio over all. We were informed of days our child “struggled” saying they didn’t dance much, etc as parents aren’t really allowed to watch aside from days they’re invited to do so. It’s less distracting for the kids. My dislikes: my child was given a completely different costume than the other kids unbeknownst to me as the parent. My child was then teased by other children in the dance class which made them cry on recital day. I didn’t like that my child was singled out intentionally by the staff. After a lengthy talk with my child it was disclosed that’s they didn’t like the dance school because the kids were mean but also my child just wanted to go for the fun of dancing when they wanted, not dance in front of everybody. My child did say that Ms Ice and the other teachers were nice. As a parent that was present for after rehearsal communication I feel more conversations were warranted. Although recitals are not mandatory, my child does not have the desire to return based on how she was treated. Also on picture day, (all of this occurring in the same 5 minute moment!) my child took a group photo, which was then re-taken because another child was not in the picture, and then my child missed that picture and there was no intention of re-taking the picture so that all of the students were present. NOR was her presence even missed which solidified how I feel the instructors felt about my child. All of that to say that if you have a child that struggles, has behaviors, disabilities, etc. this may not be the best environment for them. Out of her entire dance class only she and another Caucasian child had on different costumes, but they also seem to be the two children that struggled the most behaviorally.
Sherronda Spriggs: Great studio. Age appropriate music and choreography.
Lindsey Jackson: I have a blast at ice studios school of dance. They have a adult hip hop class and the instructor comes up with fun terms to help you remember the steps. Also they of a variety of dances for kids.
Theatre of the Imagination: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueWe think Ms Ice is the best. Have known her for many years and she is an outstanding person and dance teacher. She loves working with kids and helping them improve. You can't do better than Ms Ice!
Abony Baruti: We LOVE this school!!!!
Mar'sha Perez: I dance here and I love it because it's cheap, has different varieties of dance to choose from, and the teachers make sure you have all of the dance steps correct.
Taleah Miller: I like it cause of the price
360 Pepper: true years old
Mine O.: We love Ice studios! My oldest has been dancing at ICE studios for about 6 years and my youngest started this year! They offer tumbling, jazz, tap, hip-hop, ballet, contemporary and more. All at an affordable price and best part for me is that it's faith based. This studio is helping to build up confidence in children from 3-18 , showing them how to work together and work towards a common goal. I could go on and on. The teachers are passionate about dance and are committed. Keep going Ms. Ice!

Street Styles Academy: what do users think?
Romell Moore: The work, passion, and energy these guys display is incredible. A truly amazing and beautiful purpose these guys server. As a partner and friend, I’d recommend everyone to experience how these guys help create a welcoming and fun environment for the youth. It’s inspiring, fun, and a great way for kids to be comfortable in their own skin, and learn numerous styles of dance while cutting it up on the dance floor!!!
Ryan Maxwell: CHANGED MY DAUGHTERS LIFE! We enrolled our 12 year old daughter in March 2022 two years after the pandemic. At that time, she was struggling with a little depression wearing a mask for the last 2 year in 6th grade and middle school. Wearing a mask really made it hard for a 12 year old to express emotions with friends at school and really seemed to hurt her self-confidence and social connections. After just a few classes with other students and the great coaches at Street styles Academy, she really started to open up and get back to the person she was before the pandemic. Besides becoming a really good dancer in short time she has grown leaps and bounds with her self-confidence. Being up on stage and dancing is no big deal now and I don't believe that would have happened if we weren't so fortunate to find Street Styles Academy. Coach Z and Coach D have really big hearts and care for their students. They don't just teach dancing but they teach life lessons like holding yourself accountable and loving yourself. I can't thank both of them enough for helping my daughter become the better person she is today with love of life and Dance!
Ryan Garvey (DJ Gar-V): Partnering up with Zonte as the officially SSA sponsored DJ has brought me back to my original calling involving music. Which was / is dance! I have been a dancer since I was a kid. Now It is full circle & humbling to be helping kids that have the same passion. Each Showcase when I DJ for the SSA. I see the confidence & talent grow!It helps keep me motivated to keep being great! Honored to be a part of Street Style Dance Academy!
J “TruckingWithMack” Mack: One of the best dancing academies in the city giving back to the community in ways no one has. I give the upmost respect to what this crew does with kids across the Kansas city metro. It's not just dance but it's a family with ton of support from the newest talent all the way up to the seniority. Don't hesitate to have your child join this team and what they have going on. Go see for yourself.
Ken Walton: SSA is a energetic and a exciting place for those who would like to experience street dance in its purest form. The instructors are knowledgeable and very professional, a delight to work with. I would recommend SSA to anyone who like to pursue a career in street dance.
Jennifer Brown: My 2 children take classes at Street Styles, and have been there about 3 years. The teachers are incredibly talented and inspiring, and take the time to explain dance concepts, different styles, performance tips, all kinds of stuff for them to improve quickly. There are opportunities for stage performances as well as informal street dance battles. I am impressed by the skills of the kids that attend and I think it is a great place for a young people to build confidence in themselves in a fun way.
Khurram Khan: Amazing dance studio, where the coach (Coach Z and others) not only teaches kids how to dance but how to lead and live a proper life. Under the school the kids have flourished and advanced their dancing skills, confidence and in general attitude towards life. I highly recommend this place. Class every week is like visiting your family and friends, where you are welcome, connect to your core and learn to be an amazing dancer and just have fun.
CAMILLE WILLIAMS: SSA is great! Coach Z has made my family feel welcome! He has shown a true passion for teaching kids how to dance. He’s been a great influence on my boys!!
Sailor Moon: I've been here since I was 11 and now I'm 16 years old!! I never regret my decision of coming here to learn dance. I've gained confidence and a family 33
tigersheep79: I’ll say this: If SSA was around when I was a kid, I’d be a dope dancer right now. Coach Z and Coach D are incredible teachers and beautiful human beings, inside and out! Our son, Fin, started 3 years ago and has become an incredible dancer. Dancing has also helped a ton with Fin’s confidence on stage and off. We love you Zonte and Dmarco!
Jennifer Benefield: Street Styles Academy has been a positive growth and learning experience for our teenage daughter. She discovered hip hop after transitioning from 8 years of classical ballet and absolutely loves it! Coaches Z and D have done a fantastic job of teaching her the foundational skills necessary to incrementally improve her dancing in a safe & positive learning environment. We love the diversity of culture, ages, and skill levels of all the students in this program and would highly recommend Street Styles Academy for children and young adults who seek to improve their stage presence, dance skills, and overall self confidence!
Authentic Chat Box: When I say this school help me so much, it changed my life, my relationship with everyone is great, the energy is amazing. Because of that I was able to become a coach/site director in the school. SSA has help me become better thank you
Don Nguyen: My son has been going to SSA since 2021. The coaching staff is the best when it comes to helping your kid grow as a dancer. They have taught my son so much and he enjoys being part of the SSA family.
kacie hernandez: I have been attending street styles academy for 6 years now. I made life-long friends, became more confident, and grew extremely fast in dance! I will forever be grateful for the knowledge and talent that this school and Coach Z has provided me. The students are crazy talented and kind aswell! I highly recommend this academy!
Nicolette Paige: My son has been at Street Styles Academy for 6 years. What this team has to offer is mentorship, inspiration, education, and opportunity for elevation. Street Styles Academy has become family. The coaches are professional, focused, and passionate. Every dance showcase is unique & educational. I'm very happy with how much my son has grown & perfected his skills over the past 6 years. Thank you!
Kristen Miller: SSA has been such as positive influence on my son. From the moment he watched the various styles and selected house, he instantly connected with Coach D. My son continues to grow in confidence, understand practice leads to progress - not perfection, and improve his focus. Thanks to the entire SSA staff and students who have built a supportive community of dancers!
Virginia Saenz: There are no words for how grateful we are that we found street styles academy. The coaches are incredibly skilled dancers and even better coaches, no matter whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned competitive dancer. The coaches are incredibly patient and can break things down for each student in a way that they’ll understand–it is truly an individualized instruction. The other students are friendly and welcoming and, above all, supportive of each other.  I would highly recommend street styles academy for all levels of dancers.
madi sexton: I wanted to get into Hip Hop ever since I was a kid and just never got around to it. For me, SSA was the perfect place to get started. They had an exceptionally fast response time with all the questions I had and the instructors were very pleasant to work with. Can’t wait to learn new styles (apparently there’s 5 more styles they coach other than hip hop)!
Lukas Kirby: Never would've thought that kids that young could be so good at dancing. Keep up the good work SSA!
Wes James: Critical:CommunicationI have called multiple times, emailed twice, & posted a question via FB Messenger, & I have not received a response. Does anyone know if this place is still in business?
Ray Volavongsa: Positive:CommunicationCoach Z and Crew have an amazing way to connect with kids all ages. Whether you're an experienced dancer or completely fresh he connects and teaches with true passion and patience!! My son hasn't enjoyed a sport more than his experience here with STREET STYLE ACADEMY!!

Miss Dianna's School of Dance: what do users think?
Miranda Mansell: I have loved this studio and the owner for years! I'd give her 10 stars if I could!
UprightApes: My aunt and uncles have been taking their kids to Miss Dianna's for 10+ years. I've been taking my daughter for 3 years, and I couldn't be happier. The rates are low, the building is nice and big, 4 dance floors I think. They teach hip hop, jazz, ballet and other types idk... I've seen grown up exercise classes, special needs therapy, and ones for toddlers. The teachers are all very nice. You see all shapes and sizes dancing, I think this school has a more 'open door' policy than others. My nieces and nephews are on the 'larger' side, but they still get to go to competitions. I've heard that some schools discriminate based on body type - which seems pretty messed up. It's also neat to see my daughter take direction from the teachers, she certainly listens to them better than me!
Desiree Ramos: We love Miss Diannas. My child has been coming for a few months now and totally has a blast in the toddler class. It’s super affordable she is always so excited for her dance class every week. Staff and Miss Marissa is super friendly and welcoming.
Jen Leach: Very kind and caring instructors
Tara Rhodes: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueLove Miss Diana and all of the staff! They really care about the kids and do an amazing job with costumes and dance routines. My daughter loves dance and we enjoy everything about this wonderful experience!
Ashley Jennings: Very affordable classes.
Allison Strickler: MDSOD has been like family to us since 1998.Some of my favorite memories of my childhood were made here. Extremely family oriented, very affordable, and most importantly they are here for OUR KIDS no matter what!
Samantha McCoy: My daughter has and still dances at MDSOD, as a shy kid with stage fright we decided to "try" it out... she was hooked. From recital classes to now competitive team they have got my daughter out of her shell and rid of stage fright. They have pushed her to grow as a person and a dancer. The staff is friendly and keep dances and costumes very age appropriate. They really are the best "dance" family.
Kathryn Brown: I have been dancing at Miss Dianna's since I was 3 years old and have been connected with them ever since! As a student, they don't just care about helping you become a better dancer, but they also care about you as a person. Dancing here helped me build confidence, make lifelong friendships, and develop skills that I was able to take with me to college/my career. Plus, it was a ton of fun and a great outlet!! I wouldn't be the person I am today if it wasn't for MDSOD.
heidi s: When I was younger I used to go here I did ballet after that I quit only because I was young but that was more than five years ago and now I'm doing hihop dance there again I love this place
Kapono Coleman: We are new to Miss Dianna's and we absolutely love it! Julie is amazing! It was extremely busy the night we signed up and she patiently helped us with a smile! We have Coach Alex for hip hop class. I appreciate his relaxed but disciplined teaching style. All the staff members are really welcoming. We will definitely continue dance here!
Janet B: Adult tap is the best, fun fun, fun
Tim Smith: Extremely nice and good with children.
Sarah Wright: My daughter has been dancing there for over 10 years. We love it there! Like a family! The costumes and dances are tasteful and age appropriate. We've been competitive and non competitive and enjoyed both experiences.
Tabbatha Sanstra: My daughter has been at this studio since she turned 3 years old. The teachers are awesome and make you feel more like family than just a customer. I highly recommend this dance studio.
Audrey Sisco: Wonderful studio that clearly loves their dance families!

The Pulse Performing Arts Center: what do users think?
Whitney Neal: If you’re in search of an inclusive dance studio that considers hair and makeup for not only white dancers but also people of color run far away. Since my 6-year-old daughter has joined I had multiple instructors ask if I am planning to keep braids in my daughter’s hair for competition. I have also experienced responses when a payment is due, and I have been asked on multiple occasions if I have enough money in my account. I have never missed a payment or had insufficient funds to cover dance or costume fees. I have never heard the receptionist ask white mom's if they have enough in their account to cover any fees. I have purposely sat there to ensure I wasn't the only parent that had been singled out, but unfortunately, that is the case and these comments are directed at non-white parents. Additionally, my daughter has stated on multiple occasions that none of the white dancers on her team will talk to her and her friends are two other black girls (who are the only people of color on the team). My daughter is social so this is abnormal for her.I was also given mixed answers for an upcoming competition that we were scheduled to miss. The dance teacher said it is perfectly fine, but Curtis said this is unacceptable and I will need to make other travel arrangements (even though I explained the vacation was paid for a year in advance). He also said if I cannot rearrange my travel then my daughter would be removed from the team. Again, my daughter is 6 years old. He also refused to refund a recent dance fee for the competitions and said I am welcome to pick up her costume. Please don’t waste your money at this establishment, and find a dance studio that is inclusive and accommodating when things happen.
Andrew Gordon: Out of my price range. I can teach myself to dance for free on public wifi. Can't imagine lessons taught by Amber Wening are better than youtube instructions, which are free. I will never know because I chose to take up fencing instead of learning dance.
Rebecca Hockman: My son has been attending dance here for over a year now. When he came up with the desire to dance. We checked around...he tried others but wasn't enthusiastic about the experience at "dance class." After the first time he stepped into the hip-hop class at Pulse Performing Arts Center to try it, he came out saying it was the best "dance party" ever! Our son's heart was bursting with joy he found an awesome place to be and have fun while learning to dance.
Kiffany Bosserman: Positive:Professionalism,QualityFantastic dance studio! Our son goes there and loves it so much. The staff and teachers are so wonderful and very organized. We are so grateful to have found The Pulse!
Gwyneth Bowen: Have an almost 12-year-old granddaughter who has been dancing with this place since she was four. Their annual recitals are truly enjoyable and the skill of their teachers obvious by what they bring out in the students. My granddaughter has learned so much, is very good and loves it. They also offer watch weeks where friends family etc. are welcome to see the students in their classes. As you can see from one of the photos they have lots of trophies. They are consistently high placers in all the competitions they go to! Update: 11.19 - So now a 14-year-old granddaughter and an eight-year-old grandsonare dancing there. Grandson is in his third year and is doing competition too.Still have the highest regard for this studio and especially after watching competitions and being a little unnerved by what some studios think is appropriate for children both in attire and dance move. Skill and class allthe way here!

Jennifer's Rising Dance Stars: what do users think?
Miranda Rhude: I have danced at Jennifer’s Rising Dance Stars for 3 years and it has highly improved my dance skills. I am able to learn quicker and I have better understanding of more moves. I also am getting better teaching skills by helping with the beginner class. Jennifer does lots of special things for us.
Laura Distefano: I started here at age 3 and my dancing took off thanks to Jennifer. The studio is a family and a fun environment instilling dance technique along with life lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life!
Jami Vineyard: I've been dancing at Jennifer's Rising Dance Stars for 5 years now. I was part of recital, the competition team, and I also did the performance team for a year. With being at this studio I have grown so much as a dance and also as a person. I've met so many life long friends with being at this studio that I will always cherish. Jennifer is an amazing role model and teacher in my life. I would recommend this studio to anyone looking for a dance studio!!
Doni Edwards: Positive:Quality,Value
Jaes W Overley: We take our young daughter to an introduction to tap and ballet dance class. Jennifer and the dance students that assist her are great with the kids. They are very patient and make every class fun incorporating dance moves with familiar songs. The kids have a blast and really look up to Jennifer as their dance coach.
Vivs B: I have been dancing with Ms. Jennifer for 11 years now and she is so dedicated to her work and it really shows. She gives so many different opportunities to her dancers and my improvement has really shown since I started with her. The studio has really become a second home to me in these years and the team has become like a second family. I would recommend this place to anybody who is not only looking for a studio to learn and grow in but to create a family with.
Olivia Judah: I have been dancing at Jennifer’s Rising Dance Stars for 12 out of my 16 years. It is my absolute favorite place to go to. I take part in the recital team, competition team, and performance team. I have so much fun and it is a great environment to learn, not to mention that everyone is extremely welcoming. I've met my best friends here and this team is truly my second family. Jennifer's Rising Dance Stars is a enjoyable place to dance and have a blast! Ms. Jennifer is a great role model and an amazing teacher/person. She has tremendously improved my flexibility and skill as a dancer. She not only improves you as a dancer, she also improves you as a person. I have learned some of the most important life skills from Ms. Jennifer. I wouldn't trade this studio for the world.
C. Reyno: Ms Jennifer has won Studio of the Year and Teacher of the Year numerous years, and is considered as one of the best dance teachers in the country. The awards speak for themselves in every category but most importantly, she is kind and the best at working with kids and the kids love her. She knows how to motivate and mentor kids and she knows how to bring the best out of them.

Priscilla's & Dana's School Of Dance: what do users think?
Josie: Love it
JoAnn Rupp: My daughter danced here for 5 seasons on competition team and recently graduated as a Senior. I cannot say enough about how amazing this studio is. From Priscilla and all her worldly experience and cheer, Dana with her encouragement and guidance, and all the teachers are the best of the best in everything they do. Choreography for Jazz, Modern, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Ballet mastery. It’s a very friendship and family oriented place for all ages streaming confidence throughout the curriculum. Loved it and will miss being there. Highly recommend.
Tierra Brim: My daughter loves her dance 💃 school
Donna Ruege: Took granddaughter to her first dance class here and it was great!!
Gabby Schnepf: Very good choreography for dances and amazing dancers!

All About Dance by Katye: what do users think?
Lorrie Macias: Private party there, very enjoyable, always fun with friends and family...
Lindsey Giaffoglione: Outstanding dance studio! When you move states with teens and tweens during a pandemic, nothing seems like an easy transition, but for our family, the transfer to this studio was an easy one.My girls danced at the same studio in Colorado for over 10 years. It was their second home. We weren't sure if when we moved, we would find a studio with all of the things that we loved about our last and a place where and some of the things that we wished that one had would also be included like: a good value for a large family (we have five kiddos who all danced last year), just the right amount of competition experience, organized with good communication, and and a studio owner who considers all feedback and really wants a places that meets the needs of ALL students in an inviting and inclusive way. Somehow we found all of these things at IDKC. Everyone has been so welcoming to our three girls during a really tough time of new things and overwhelming change, but Miss Rachel (studio owner) and Miss Heidi have really gone above and beyond to include and welcome all of our girls into their new dance studio home, even before we moved from Colorado Springs to Kansas City last September. I am so thankful to have found IDKC and would absolutely recommend it to anyone.
Sophia Binder: My kids love the hip hop class!
Keri D: Such a great environment! It supports and encourages the love of dance in all its dancers!! Great place to learn!
Jessica Mills: My daughter loves going to dance class each week!! The staff is wonderful!!
Katie Woolery: I have loved watching my daughter grow as a dancer and young lady at All About Dance!! Truly wonderful watching her learn from her amazing teachers!!
Samantha Snyder: We tried several dance schools north of the river. "All about Dance by Katye" is the best we have found. The teachers are fantastic! The recitals are the best. Could not give a better review. Love you Ms. Katye!
Dalana Fiorino: I took dance classes here for years and I loved every min of it. Couldn't ask for a better studio or teachers. As soon as my daughter is old enough I will be enrolling her !!!
Chris Wheelhouse: I've spent a lot of time here with my daughter and everyone here seems like family. The staff love spending their time with kids of all ages and watching them learn and grow
Jeff David: This is a wonderful, fun, safe, non competitive invironment for children to learn to dance. Great recitals! Father daughter & Mother Daughter dances are a lot of fun.. My daughters have danced here 13 years. We love it. This is where you take your daughter to love the art of dance. If you can only afford one activity this is the one to pick.Jeff David
